1. Poem: Autumn in Hanoi Within Me - Nguyệt Sương
Autumn in Hanoi Within Me
Poem: Nguyệt Sương
Oh Hanoi, how deeply I love your autumns
The streets bustle as people flow with life
The golden autumn sun lights up familiar faces
A little bit of closeness, yet some distance feels near
Oh Hanoi, in October, the milk flowers fall
The sweet fragrance weaves through every alley
Years have passed since I left, but I still remember
The strong scent of milk flowers on Quang Trung Street
Oh Hanoi, your autumn is so beautiful
When I wander alone in the early morning
Along Phan Đình Phùng, the mulberry trees are lush and green
The first rays of sun slice through the street, so peaceful
Oh Hanoi, how dear you are to me
From the peaceful Old Quarter to the charming street cafés
From romantic flower seasons to the paths of love that are filled with poetry
All these memories bring joy and song to the heart
Oh Hanoi, early mornings smell of the fresh green rice cake
The simplicity yet purity of this scent
Born from the love of the artisan who created it
Making this cake truly special
Oh Hanoi, how splendid you are in October
The mist over West Lake bathes in golden sunlight
Trấn Quốc Pagoda echoes the soul’s call
A tranquil and peaceful place for meditation
Oh Hanoi, I will never forget
All the simple pieces that make you whole
From the street corners, the trees, to the houses full of memories
These create a very special Hanoi autumn.

2. Poem: Hanoi - Night of Milk Flowers - Phan Thu Hà
HANOI - NIGHT OF MILK FLOWERS
Poem: Phan Thu Hà
The milk flowers light up the leaves
The night’s eyes awake beneath the trees
Stopping the rush of life’s endless flow
Autumn has arrived, it’s here below
The night street breathes with warmth
Like the age of fifteen years so tender
My heart secretly falls for 'milk flowers'
As rosy cheeks bloom in the moon’s splendor
A haze of mist and smoke lingers
As the streets feel like a mystical dream
The heart stirs with longing
As though waiting for someone to appear, it seems
Though we are separated by countless miles
I send all my love and longing
The autumn of Hanoi stays behind
As the quiet milk flowers spread their scent, lingering
Phan Thu Hà

3. Poem: Come Back, My Love - Hong Soi
COME BACK, MY LOVE
Author: Hong Soi
You've gone, and with you, autumn has left
Golden leaves fall, fluttering, calling to you
The streets of Khâm Thiên wait, longing for your return
Where are you, my love, so far from home?
Day by day, I weave our future together
Waiting for you in the warmth of my arms
For years, the nights have been cold and still
I long for you, even in my dreams!
Autumn fades, but still, I wait, hour by hour
Even when winter turns to spring
How many times have you broken your promise, my love?
Have you worn the coat I made for you yet?
Hanoi is lost in the sweet fragrance of milk flowers
Come back, my love, don't you feel anything anymore?
The Village’s green rice cakes and fresh shrimp still wait
The ripe soursop is fragrant in the air
Golden chrysanthemums spread their fragrance in the autumn sky
I wait for you while I continue to weave our love!

4. Poem: Autumn by Your Side - Nghi Lam
AUTUMN BY YOUR SIDE
Poem: Nghi Lam
In Saigon, there is no autumn to feel
I long for the sweet fragrance of milk flowers in Hanoi
For the West Lake, where I waited with you each afternoon
Southerners, like migrating birds, arrive here
It was then I knew I had already fallen for you
And promised to keep you close in my heart
For love always seeks that special bond
When the golden leaves fall in the Old Quarter
Autumn nights are dim, but flowers bloom
Yet by your side, you shine with sweetness
We sit together on a stone bench, side by side
Talking until the night grows late
Our rendezvous was just as we dreamed
And once we met, parting never crossed our minds
We walked around Hoan Kiem Lake in the morning, hand in hand, watching the flowers
In Tây Tựu, with the gentle autumn breeze
We were like soulmates, always in tune
Joyful and affectionate, with deep, lingering love
And when it's time to leave, you'll always remain in my heart
The beloved woman from Hanoi
You gave me more than I could have ever hoped for
With shared longing and intense emotions
We promised we'd never forget each other
FOR AUTUMN HAS UNITED US FOREVER!

5. Poem: Hanoi Full of Autumn but Missing You - Nguyen Dinh Cuong
HANOI FULL OF AUTUMN BUT MISSING YOU
Poem: Nguyen Dinh Cuong
I once told you
Autumn isn't just a season that arrives at the door
It sneaks in through every alley, bringing the scent of green rice cakes
Autumn comes, inviting us to wait with longing
Without you, Hanoi gathers all the memories
The milk flowers spread their arms to welcome you
Poetry is unfinished by the shores of Trấn Quốc
Regret lingers, as West Lake still dreams of you
Hoan Kiem Lake, with its willow branches swaying, echoes my sadness
The stone bench sits covered in dew, with only me sitting there
I imagine you're still tending your garden of chrysanthemums
But I’m not angry, just filled with melancholy
Hurry back, my love
The last rays of autumn sun are waiting for you
Your tangled hair dries in the breeze
And we can kiss, lost in the intoxication of autumn
Don't let autumn slip away from here
The Red River still ebbs and flows
Long Bien Bridge stands solemn, reflecting the moon's glow
And the Pen Tower tells its stories under the cloudy sky.

6. Poem: Do You Hear Hanoi in Autumn? - Trinh Thanh Hang
DO YOU HEAR HANOI IN AUTUMN?
Poem: Trinh Thanh Hang
Do you hear the rustling of autumn leaves?
Hanoi, wrapped in the melancholy of late autumn
The scent of milk flowers fills Nguyễn Du street
The little maple trees are changing their leaves
Do you hear the ripples of green water in Hoan Kiem Lake?
The willows whisper, singing their love song
The sound of a distant lute, yearning for home
An artist plays the piano on the city streets
Do you hear the rustle of leaves in the evening dusk?
Thanh Niên Street, where a graceful lady walks
West Lake continues to turn as the universe spins
Yet it remains, holding the dreams of lovers
Do you hear the sound of a train's whistle?
Returning after long journeys
Bringing longing and homesickness
Rushing back to Hàng Cỏ station
Do you hear the street vendors calling in the wind?
Massage, tofu, and sticky rice with green beans
Come home to Hanoi, where the green rice cakes wait
Autumn calls us to the fields to harvest rice
Do you hear the fire crackling in the kitchen?
The smell of freshly cooked rice fills the air
The harvest season is here in our village
The scent of fresh straw fills the damp fields
Do you hear the autumn evening in Hanoi?
Sweet and intense, filled with passion
Hanoi, my love, is waiting for your return
Come back, and let’s embrace the endless autumn together.

7. Poem: Autumn in Hanoi - Hong Giang
AUTUMN IN HANOI
Poem: Hong Giang
You told me the sun was too harsh, fearing autumn’s pain
The flowers of milk trees along Nguyễn Du have lost their color
Hanoi’s autumn has already passed halfway
Are the stone benches by the lake still there, my love?
This autumn in Hanoi feels fragile, with light sunshine
The waters of West Lake ripple softly on the way to Phủ
The willow trees lean and bend, their leaves falling gently
Do you remember the old path we once walked together?
Now the trains still arrive at the station in Hanoi
Chương Dương Bridge breaks apart with the rush of people returning from work
The old cafe where we once met now seems empty
Is there still that passionate spark we once shared?
Hanoi has changed; the fields are still green along the dike
The Flower Valley brings me back to memories of clumsy days
The banks of the Red River, once a place of longing
Do they still call to me, urging me to return, step by step?
This autumn in Hanoi, my heart is heavy with doubt
Winter seems so uncertain…
I hesitate…
Waiting for someone to return!

8. Poem: The Nostalgia of Autumn - Nguyễn Thị Khánh Hà
NOSTALGIA OF AUTUMN
Poem: Nguyễn Thị Khánh Hà
I miss so much, an autumn in Hanoi
The golden sấu season, the fragrant milk flower blooms
The arrival of green sticky rice, the season of lovebirds
Drunk on you, in the autumn afternoon with falling leaves
The scent of milk flowers spreads in the air
Stopping my steps, not wanting to leave
The West Lake afternoon, the water's surface pale and misty
Can you hear, the song of love and longing?
Autumn is ending, time rushing faster
It doesn't wait for anyone, leaving the heart restless
Faraway islands, the longing never fades
Love so deeply, even though we are apart
Without you on the island, the longing grows more intense
Do you know, in Hanoi, how much I miss you?
I miss so much, even though I can't visit
All I wish for is you in my dreams each night
Hoping to be with you, to live in peaceful happiness
To fulfill my dreams after countless nights of yearning
If you love me, please don’t cry
Let our love forever sing the autumn song.

9. Poem: Hanoi in Autumn Night - Phan Hoàng
HANOI IN AUTUMN NIGHT
Poem: Phan Hoàng
From a high floor, I gaze at Hanoi’s night sky
The street lights twinkle like a thousand stars
The Red River twists through its islands
While the tall buildings seem to touch the heavens
The night is calm after a busy day
The trees along the streets fall into a dreamy sleep
A late afternoon rain clears the sky
The curtains flutter as the cool breeze blows through
I remember an autumn before a long journey
You saw me off... through the sleepless night
In the days of resistance, many nights I couldn’t sleep
When the country was still at war and peace was far away
Those years are long gone, the youth of my age
The memories remain, engraved deeply in my heart
In the years I traveled far, my heart ached
Longing for the Autumn in Hanoi with its vibrant hue
This autumn returns, fulfilling my waiting soul
Over a thousand years, the Capital thrives with energy
Walking along the expanding streets and alleys
My spirit soars, flying in the embrace of the autumn sky...

10. Poem: Autumn - Nguyễn Quốc Hưng
AUTUMN
Poem: Nguyễn Quốc Hưng
Do you still remember Hanoi in autumn, my dear?
The autumn leaves fall with the breeze at the doorstep
The afternoon sun casts a shadow, embracing everything
A golden autumn season came to gift you.
The old brick road we once walked
The marks of time remain, fading not yet
Your footsteps no longer return to that place
Now, my steps move slowly over it.
Autumn comes, autumn goes, autumn returns
You come, you leave, never to return
Each autumn that arrives, I remember again
The foolish days when I was deeply in love.

11. Poem: Autumn Fragrance - Đình Khải
AUTUMN FRAGRANCE
Poem: Đình Khải
Each morning, I stroll with ease
Along familiar paths
Quietly observing the road ahead
Seeing the locust flowers fall, painting the ground red
Don’t dwell on the past, my dear
The old has passed, and we await the new
Look, the milk flowers are calling
Their white glow shines on the high branches
And, can you sense the sweet scent of green sticky rice
Floating gently from the street corners
The rice from Vòng Village seems to invite us
Pulling my steps closer every autumn
Oh autumn, the season of passion
After the scorching summer sun has gone
Before the cold winds of winter arrive
Hanoi, how beautiful you are in autumn...

12. Poem: Hanoi's Autumn Love - Nguyễn Quang Minh
HANOI'S AUTUMN LOVE
Author: Nguyễn Quang Minh
How I love the autumn skies of Hanoi
The late afternoon sun, hurrying, lost in thought
The roads have etched our footprints
In the days of longing, of countless promises.
Amidst the hustle, there's still a shy smile
Elegance and grace, surrounded by vibrant blooms
Autumn arrives, bringing melodies to Hanoi
All thirty-six streets pulse in harmony with life.
Hanoi stands tall like the dawn awakening
Its youthful spirit burns brightly in our hearts
Old memories still ache, seeking to return
Wide open, reaching out beyond expectations.
I stand with you, bathing in the fresh autumn
My heart, full of vibrant, fluttering emotions
Hope and love surge, flowing freely
A kiss lingers on my lips, sweet and passionate.
How radiant is this autumn, full of warmth
In a world where love is constantly given and received
Forever in us, the colors will stay
So that love may shine forevermore.
In your hands, I feel shy and uncertain
Could it be that we long for each other because of autumn?
I love autumn in the flush of your cheeks
Hanoi in autumn... Let’s wait for it together!

13. Poem: Early Autumn in Hanoi - Nguyễn Hưng
EARLY AUTUMN IN HANOI
Author: Nguyễn Hưng
This is Hanoi, an early autumn bathed in sunlight
The surface of West Lake shrouded in morning mist
The willow branches sway gently in the breeze
A scene of watercolor beauty, still and serene for the traveler.
Great legends have been etched into history
Four thousand years of glory, the Lạc Hồng people
The marks of our ancestors still remain
The distant sound of battle drums echoes in the air.
How many times have foreign invaders trespassed
Only to retreat in defeat, swallowed by shame
In Diên Hồng, the spirit of resistance burns bright
The oath of the people, forever sealed in blood.
Here I stand, amidst the golden autumn winds
Listening to the thunderous hooves of horses charging
The fallen enemies of history are buried beneath
Allowing us to today honor the proud Vietnamese bloodline.
Oh Hanoi... land of wisdom and valor
My heart yearns to call your name
The autumn arrives, the golden sunlight gleaming
In every street, laughter fills the air.

14. Poem: The Last Sigh of Autumn - Phan Thúc Định
THE LAST SIGH OF AUTUMN!
Poem: Phan Thúc Định
I thought my heart was big enough
Wide enough to embrace this small world
But who could foresee that love brings tears?
Opening the heart, but closing it is hard to do!
When distance grows, doubt fills the air
The blood no longer runs warm and true
Selfishness lingers, hiding at the door
Chasing it away, yet my heart follows the path!
No matter the sky, it mocks the scene of goodbyes...
Why does that smile feel so insincere?
When we were together, did you ever notice
That I was deceitful or was it me just being foolish?
The sky hums the song of changing seasons
A gentle chill makes my heart stir
At West Lake, lovers are filled with excitement
Drinking the last of autumn before winter arrives!
At a roadside café, someone sings a mournful tune?
Jealousy flows like the river’s falls
Knowing I am wrong, yet my heart is heavy
Come back, my dear, and clean up the mess!
Phủ Quỳ, 4/10/2018.
Master Định.

15. Poem: Hanoi Autumn Awaits You - Lê Mỹ Hường
HANOI AUTUMN AWAITS YOU
Poem: Lê Mỹ Hường
Hanoi has entered autumn, do you know, my love?
The yellow and red leaves fall, covering the street
The cool breeze gently sweeps through the small alley
Where I wait, longing for your return...
Hanoi autumn arrives, enchanting and beautiful
The soft sunlight dries the streets, as pigeons peck at grains
The willows by the lake lean, their hair flowing in the wind
The golden tree stands, tiny leaves swaying in the breeze
Hanoi welcomes the dawn with a fresh light
The asters spread, bathed in the soft morning glow
The sweet scent of milk flowers fills the air, despite the emptiness
My heart longs, waiting for a promise of love...
Hanoi in autumn, sipping coffee with you
Listening to a tune that stirs up nostalgia
Our hearts bound in a love from the past
As Hanoi transitions, the autumn wind whispers your name!
Autumn in Hanoi is truly delicate
The fragrant green rice wrapped in lotus leaves
The chrysanthemums bloom softly, awakening the city
As I wait, longing for you to return to Hanoi...
Autumn’s honeyed golden touch spreads across the fields
The rice paddies smell of harvest, golden and sweet
We hold hands, hearts racing, reluctant to part
Promising that when autumn returns, the train will bring you back to me
Come back, my love - Hanoi is waiting for you!!!

Chợt mơn man rạo rực trái tim say.
Hà Nội ngày...gặp cơn gió heo may
Nhẹ lướt qua tim ai đủ thấy lòng trống trải
Tìm bờ môi ...ấm hơi người thương mãi
Giấc mơ đời êm dịu thỏa cơn phiêu.
Hà Nội ngày...anh nói tiếng: em yêu
Thu quẩn quanh hai mái đầu thủ thỉ
Nắng rót vào má em để hương nồng cũ kĩ
Cũng bừng lên đòi nhựa sống trào dâng.
Hà Nội ngày .....
Thu với những bâng khuâng...
Thơ: Cúc Hoa Mi
