1. Song: "Uncle Ho is Marching with Us"
Composer: Huy Thuc.
Lyrics:
Tonight, we march towards the frontlines.
Endless rows of soldiers march on, following Uncle Ho’s path.
Countless victories, we dedicate them to him,
We dedicate them to the Party, with trust that lights our way.
The red flag shines, guiding us through the journey ahead.
We march, we march to liberate the South,
As long as foreign troops still threaten our homeland, we will fight to drive them out.
Uncle Ho’s words urge us on,
We fight for a unified homeland, North and South, to the rhythm of our song.
Years ago, Uncle Ho led the soldiers on their campaign.
The mountains and rivers still remember, the waters reflect his image.
The army follows him like a powerful river in full force.
In Dien Bien, his words echoed through the trenches.
Today, the entire army still raises the red flag that Uncle Ho gave us.
We march to liberate the South,
And as long as foreign invaders still threaten our land, we will continue to fight them back.
Uncle Ho’s words guide us forward.
Our beloved Uncle Ho marches alongside us.
Today, Uncle Ho calls, and the entire nation answers.
We charge forward, determined to win.
The path ahead is steep, with cliffs and challenges.
No hardship compares to our anger and burning determination.
South Vietnam, raise the red flag high and bright.
We march to liberate the cities, break down fortresses, and drive out the invaders.
For independence and freedom, we will fight for prosperity and a future of spring.
Our beloved Uncle Ho marches with us.

2. Song: "The Youth of President Ho's Generation"
Composer: Triều Dâng.
Lyrics:
From the sea to the mountain high
Our flag carries the image of Uncle Ho with his legendary name
Ho Chi Minh, the debt of gratitude to him is like the vast ocean and sky
Human warmth fills our hearts as we fight for freedom.
For our country, we march forward to build a happy life
To fulfill the hopes and dreams
That Uncle Ho always wished for.
We are the youth of Ho Chi Minh's generation
For tomorrow, we build grand works
Fields of rice heavy with grain, factories rising high with smoke
The entire nation illuminated by the future’s lights.
The effort we put in shapes the land and sky of our nation
It will thrive and fulfill the dreams
That Uncle Ho always yearned for.
Amidst the flags, flowers, and greetings, under the clear March sky, the song "The Youth of President Ho's Generation" by Triều Dâng evokes the noble echoes of our glorious past – never overshadowed by other youth anthems.

Vietnamese youth, united and creative!
Vietnamese youth, building the nation!
Millions of hands volunteering in competition
Millions of hearts from all corners

Our life is a marching song, the anthem of soldiers
We sing it loudly through the days
It flies above the mountains and along the borders, reaching even the distant islands.
In our hearts, we continue singing the soldier’s song
In our hearts, we keep singing the anthem of the march.
Even though we long for roses
The enemy forces us to carry guns
But how we love our homeland
The love for our land resonates in the marching song.
Our life is a marching song / Our life is the anthem of soldiers... These opening lines come from the song "Sing Forever the Marching Song" by the late composer Diệp Minh Tuyền. This is one of the many military anthems cherished and remembered by generations of soldiers.

5. Song: "The March of the Youth of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union"
Composer: Văn Dung.
Lyrics:
March forward as our homeland calls us
We, the youth of Ho Chi Minh's generation, are worthy of this challenge.
Despite all hardships, we pledge to sacrifice
And fight for our nation under the glorious Party's flag.
We march ahead, guided by Uncle Ho's teachings
Which we engrave deep in our hearts to ensure our Union always leads.
The glory of youth is nurtured by Uncle Ho’s care
Like a forest of flowers blooming under the Revolutionary flag.
We march ahead, bringing our youth and strength
To build our beloved homeland
In the face of adversity, we remember our glorious traditions
And remind ourselves that we are the children of Uncle Ho Chi Minh.
Many generations of youth have set bright examples
Like Trỗi and Xuân, selflessly dedicating themselves to the nation
Our journey continues with the spirit of Kim Đồng, always looking toward the Party’s glory.
For decades, young people, especially youth union members, have sung the song “The March of the Youth of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union” by composer Văn Dung. If “Youth Follow Uncle Ho’s Teachings” by composer Hoàng Hòa is the anthem of the Union, this song by Văn Dung is considered its official traditional anthem.

7. Song: "Voluntary"
Composer: Truong Quoc Khanh.
Song Lyrics:
If I were a bird, I would be a white dove
If I were a flower, I would be a sunflower
If I were a cloud, I would be a warm cloud
If I were a human, I would die for my homeland
If I were a bird, I would spread my wings high
From the South to the North, delivering messages far and wide
If I were a flower, I would bloom with love in the morning
Along with countless hearts, lost in the beauty of peace
If I were a cloud, I would soar with the wind across the sky
From ancient times, I would continue the brave legacy
If I were a person, I would want to fall in peace
And see my brothers rise to wave the flag high
Undoubtedly, many of us have heard the song 'Voluntary'. This meaningful piece of music has left beautiful images in my heart. "If I were a bird, I would be a white dove. If I were a flower, I would be a sunflower...", these are lyrics from our youth, filled with the most beautiful and purest dreams. A dream of independence, a desire for peace. If I were a bird, or a flower, I would symbolize peace. The flower always turns towards the sun, and even the clouds would be warm. But above all, as a human, I would die for my homeland.

8. Song: "Green Leaves"
Composer: Hoang Viet.
Song Lyrics:
The leaves are still green, just like you, young and strong
The leaves on the tree, like you, are in the army
The wind shakes the tree and the leaves joyfully play
Young men from the village, marching to the spring campaigns
You are the leaves on the tree, unafraid of the wind and rain
You, a brave man, must face the battle this season
Chorus:
March on! March on, through the season of motivation
March on! March on, with the new spring, the wind and leaves sing
Look at the banners hanging throughout the village
March on! March on
Everything for the frontline, hurry up
O, young men of the village
The leaves are still green, just like you, full of youth
Your strength, full of energy, fills your whole body
Look up, the tree leaves are vibrant in the clear sky
The young men are not thinking about home
They are heading to the front, fighting to defeat the enemy
The girls wait, counting on their heroic victories
Chorus:
March on! March on, through the season of motivation
March on! March on, with the new spring, the wind and leaves sing
Look at the banners hanging throughout the village
March on! March on
Everything for the frontline, hurry up
O, young men of the village.
The song written by composer Hoang Viet encouraged the men to enlist. The song played a stronger role in motivating the youth to join the army than any slogans or propaganda articles could.

9. Song: "The Call of the Youth"
Composer: Musician Lưu Hữu Phước
Lyrics:
Brothers, rise up, march towards the day of liberation
United we stand, no fear of life’s hardship
We fight with swords drawn, together we rise
The enemy’s blood has yet to be avenged, but we hold strong
Many years of suffering and pain we’ve endured
Gold, gems, and the creatures of the wild have taken from us
They have spilled our blood, leaving us broken and scattered
But the memory of that blood makes our anger boil
We swear to destroy the ruthless enemy
With swords raised, we march forward
With swords raised, we dedicate ourselves completely
We march forward, undaunted by life’s struggles
Let us not forget that we are descendants of the Lạc Hồng
Students, rise up, heed the call of the nation
United we march, we break new ground
Look to the past, to the ancient rivers and mountains, and never forget
From North to South, together we stand strong
Youthful spirit, pure and bright as a mirror
Do not regret your blood, your sacrifice
Though the road is difficult, we shall not be weak
Though there are countless obstacles, we will stand firm
Eyes set on the distant horizon, we march forward
With courage, we brave the unknown
Students, rise up, under the flag
Brothers, stand strong, the time has come
We march forward, letting the winds carry us
Burning in our hearts is the fire of freedom
Brothers, rise up, march towards the day of liberation
United we march, no fear of life’s hardship
Look at the shattered land, our hearts burning with resolve
We see the suffering people, their cries fueling our fury
We will risk everything, we will fight for victory
The flag of righteousness flies, stained with the blood of the fallen
We march forward, clearing the path of the brutal enemy
To restore peace to our homeland
We vow to avenge our fallen brothers with our blood
For eternity, our voices will sing the song of heroes
Brothers, rise up, under the flag
Students, stand strong, the time has come
We march forward, letting the winds carry us
Burning in our hearts is the fire of freedom.

12. Anthem of Volunteer Youth
Composer: Thế Hiển.
Lyrics:
We sing the anthem of the volunteer youth
We head to remote areas from all corners of the country
With youthful energy and passion in our hearts
We join hands in the "Green Summer" movement
With our minds and hands, full of dedication and enthusiasm
We contribute to building our homeland
From today’s hard work, comes tomorrow’s happiness
The Green Summer calls us to march forward
In the Southern plains, we build dikes to prevent floods
We teach the younger generation, build homes for the lonely
We climb the Trường Sơn Mountains, paving the road of history
We go to the highlands, encouraging the people to plant trees and build forests
In our green uniforms, we are the volunteer youth
The memories of these years will never fade from us
The world needs youth, full of life and energy
The Green Summer sings the anthem of our journey ahead.
The youth volunteer movement in Vietnam is always a prominent and commendable activity of the younger generation. This may be a new song by Thế Hiển, but it has gained great affection due to its meaningful lyrics. 13. The Youth's March
Composed by: Phan Bảo.
Song Lyrics:
From every corner, we gather here
To work together for a brighter tomorrow
For happiness, for prosperity, and wherever it’s difficult, youth will stand strong...
The road ahead is long and full of challenges
As youth, we pledge our hands to build
We march forward for tomorrow
We march on for the future
Determined to move forward, no turning back
Following the footsteps of our fathers...
Inspiring our hearts, inspiring our hearts...
The words of our elders call us
To reach distant horizons
Even through high mountains, even across deep seas
We fear not, we rise, the youth will lead...
We come together to contribute
As members, we say we are ready
Today’s youth, moving forward
Hoping for a brighter tomorrow
Ending poverty and hardship
Overcoming pain, all challenges overcome...
Singing the anthem of the Union with millions
Side by side, united in our belief
We volunteer to go anywhere, without fear of distance
Bringing love and joy to every corner of the world
Following the call of those who are determined to give their all for tomorrow’s dreams.

14. Song: "The Great Circle of Unity"
Composed by: Trịnh Công Sơn.
Song Lyrics:
The mountains stretch their arms, reconnecting with the distant seas
We form a great circle, forever linking our land together
The vast earth calls, our brothers and sisters return
Reuniting joyfully like a storm of winds across an endless sky
Our hands join to form an unbroken circle of Vietnam
The flag catches the wind, uniting night with day
Our bloodline binds us as one, hearts beating together
Building a new sense of humanity, starting with this day
Cities link to remote villages, bridging every distance
The departed connect with us through sacred memories
And smiles connect us, always on our lips.
From North to South, hands joined as one
We travel across barren lands, climbing over hills and valleys
Scaling steep cliffs, we conquer mountains
From poor villages to bustling cities, holding hands across the ocean and rivers, forming a circle of life and death
This song was written by Trịnh Công Sơn to call for unity between the North and the South. "Trịnh Công Sơn composed 'The Great Circle of Unity' for the entire South to sing, but few had the chance to hear him perform it. On the significant day of April 30, 1975, the people of Saigon were unexpectedly treated to his voice. At around 3 p.m. on that day, as most people poured into the streets to celebrate the city's liberation, those at home tuning into the Saigon Radio station were surprised when the broadcast paused briefly, only to be followed by the voice of Trịnh Công Sơn: 'I am Trịnh Công Sơn,' and he began singing 'The Great Circle of Unity.'"

15. Song: "Rising Up"
Composed by: Lưu Hữu Phước.
Song Lyrics:
Come, my brothers, let's venture forward, rise up
Seeking the bright future. We vow to unite and decorate our homeland
From this moment, let's strive for greatness
Our group marches, undeterred by obstacles, rising up
We, the Vietnamese people
Looking ahead to a glorious future, we march confidently, singing loud and proud
Behold our land, vast and endless, a soul soaring high
Look to the world, see the five continents
Together we aim to inspire
We march with determination, unwavering, rising up
We, the Vietnamese people. Look at our land, full of life
Our group sings triumphantly, our spirits soaring
There is the legacy of loyalty, passing down through the ages
Rise up, unite powerfully... The legacy of Bạch Đằng, the echo of Chi Lăng
We follow in the footsteps of our heroes. Who, in times past, brought glory to our homeland
Serving the nation. We, the people, hold in our hearts the sacrifice of our heroes
Looking at our land, we march forward
This song became a symbol of the Vietnamese youth's spirit, a call to patriotism and national pride. It was born during the time of French colonial rule and Japanese occupation in 1944. Under the leadership of the Viet Minh Front, the revolutionary movement surged. Lưu Hữu Phước joined the Viet Minh Front early on and was tasked with leading the southern movement. The song "Rising Up" was born from this context.

16. Song: "Anh Ba Hưng"
Composed by: Trần Kiết Tường.
Song Lyrics:
There’s Anh Ba Hưng
A true farmer at heart
He served in the army for more than five years
And just received a medal of honor.
Little Sáu sees him and is filled with pride
Even though he’s small, he’s wise beyond his years
He keeps praising his big brother
Saying how talented Anh Ba Hưng is.
He says, in just one year
Anh Ba Hưng has killed more than a hundred French soldiers
Fighting off the savage French forces
Defeating the imperialist invaders
They shot and destroyed our village
Neighbors asked what happened
I simply said, 'It's Anh Ba Hưng.'
This song was born in 1947 when the local army unit in Giá Rai, led by me (the platoon leader), ambushed and destroyed many of the French military's vehicles, becoming a leading symbol of resistance in Bạc Liêu province. Composer Trần Kiết Tường met Anh Ba Hưng to talk about the battle and his life, and that’s when this song was created, set to the melody of a Southern folk song "Con Chim Manh Manh": "There’s Anh Ba Hưng, a true farmer at heart / He served in the army for three years, just earned a medal of honor..."
The song was first performed on a Nam Bộ Radio cultural program by singer Quốc Hương. Later, it was covered by various artists such as Đàm Vĩnh Hưng, Hồng Vân, Thanh Thúy, and Cẩm Ly.
