1. Poem: Another Autumn Wind - Lê Hương
Another Autumn Wind
Poem by: Lê Hương
What memory compares to the longing for a distant love?
On weekends, I return, and you're still in the corner of the street.
The yearning aches deep in my heart,
As you never come to visit, the missing feeling tightens my chest.
Let me pretend you're off to the military,
So that once a year, we can hope for a leave.
Whether in the sunny days or the cold winter evenings,
We can avoid the loneliness, the restless nights, the longing for each other.
When love burns and memories catch fire,
I reach out to chat to hear your voice.
Even so, it's happiness to know my heart still calls,
Our love has never ceased for even a moment.
As the autumn breeze blows through the streets,
I feel my heart swell with emotion.
Counting the raindrops, each one brings back memories.
The falling leaves remind me that autumn is here,
Another season of longing, remembering the autumn breeze...

2. Poem: Half of the Autumn Breeze - Đỗ Hương
Half of the Autumn Breeze
Poem by: Đỗ Hương
Three seasons have passed, haven’t they, my love, autumn breeze?
Autumn halts by the roadside, leaves turning gold.
The fragrance of milk flowers fills the air,
While the fallen leaves lazily blanket the pond's surface.
The first morning of autumn, the streets appear more beautiful than expected!
Rustling leaves gently sway, whispering dreams.
In this peaceful space, a pair of sparrows flutter,
Together they gather golden sunbeams...
The autumn breeze blows, lifting the sound of laughter,
Your hand points towards West Lake, where the waves ripple.
From afar, the bell of Trấn Quốc Temple echoes,
And I gently caress my scarf in the breeze.
Who would have guessed that the cracks in time would widen?
The autumn withers, as chrysanthemums bloom in the garden.
The autumn wind sweeps, tossing them aside,
Pulling the soul of the flowers away from paradise.
Half of the autumn breeze remains, soft and gentle,
The old path is now covered in fallen leaves.
Autumn trembles—don't walk too fast,
Be gentle, or the autumn breeze will break!

3. Poem: The Autumn Breeze Returns to You - Hoàng Minh Tuấn
The Autumn Breeze Returns to You
Poem by: Hoàng Minh Tuấn
The sunset glows red this evening,
As the autumn breeze brings a coolness, signaling fall's return!
The leaves rustle softly as they fall,
The streets you walk down are now bathed in golden hues!
Autumn is back again, my dear,
You left, but left behind someone who still longs for you!
The autumn sunlight, golden and gentle,
I hope to see you again, to taste the sweetness of your kiss!
The sorrow of that day still lingers,
Leaving my eyes wet and heart bitter.
For many autumns, I’ve waited and hoped,
For many autumns, I’ve yearned for you!
This autumn is here once more,
The autumn breeze blows, leaves swirl in the sky,
Golden leaves twirl and fall,
While I am lost in thoughts of you, intoxicated by memories!
The sunset still tinges with purple, my love,
I remember your red lips, your beaming smile,
The promise you made when we said goodbye,
And I will forever remember: the autumn breeze returns to you.

4. Poem: Holding on to the Season - Lâm Bình
Holding on to the Season
Poem by: NS Lâm Bình
You reach out, gathering both seasons,
The wistful autumn and the approaching winter.
Though you know the autumn breeze is still lingering,
A golden sun flickers, distant and proud.
You stretch your hand, trying to keep the season here...
Your heart beats wildly with joy.
You shyly hold the wind in your hands,
Afraid it might slip away, the breeze you brought this evening.
The strong fragrance of milk flowers fills the air,
The wind stirs and pulls you from your dream.
On the other side, the whole sky waits for autumn,
While on this side, winter lingers, hoping for you.
Well, then, my love, let go of the past,
Sending memories back when our love was at its peak.
The moment of seasonal change stirs up the nostalgia,
Still, we wait for each other, remembering the winter we shared.
Our love will forever be beautiful, immortalized in poetry!

5. Poem: The Autumn Breeze - Phạm Hồng Giang
The Autumn Breeze
Poem by: Phạm Hồng Giang
Come back, gather up the autumn breeze,
Collect what remains from the days of old,
So that the golden leaves will no longer wilt,
And the sadness will fade along the empty path.
Return so I can write you a love poem,
Why has August been so indifferent?
The afternoon rain makes the heart shiver,
While a touch of autumn pouts, saddened and forlorn.
The autumn breeze returns, heavy with the monsoon,
Every drop of memory drifts away and never returns,
In this moment of seasonal change, my heart aches,
For the naive love of days long past.
Is it that sorrow has turned into rain,
Or is there still a lingering summer, lost and wandering,
That leaves me tonight, alone and restless,
Picking up the autumn breeze to complete half a vow?
This August, will anyone still be passionate enough,
To feel the longing...
To forget the way back...
And ponder?
14th August 2018, Hồng Giang.

6. Poem: Could You Be Autumn? - Tony Bùi
Could You Be Autumn?
Poem by: Tony Bùi
August has come, do you know?
The faint golden rays of the autumn sun
Footsteps hurry, leaving an empty path,
Abandoning the sky, with only a few clouds left behind.
August has arrived, have you noticed?
The autumn wind rustles the leaves, covering the ground
The old street remains, faded and distant,
The stone path, with moss, bears the marks of old steps.
Could you be autumn, so beautifully fleeting?
Bringing with you the fullness of memories,
The old street, the familiar road—do you remember?
Only the autumn breeze, and the waning moon...

7. Poem: The Old Autumn Breeze - Trịnh Thanh Hằng
The Old Autumn Breeze
Poem by: Trịnh Thanh Hằng
Anxious, as summer just passed by,
The autumn breeze arrives, signaling the fall.
Returning to the old dock, I play in the wind,
Trying to reclaim memories of autumns past.
Remembering the girl with rosy cheeks,
Whispering sweet words among the thousand flowers,
Remembering her delicate figure,
Busy with the daily routine of the vegetable market.
So many warm words we shared,
We promised the autumn breeze would bring us closer,
But who knew that time would turn so harsh?
Now, I return, but cannot find you anywhere.
The flowers bloom in abundance, their petals bright,
But I am left searching, lost in longing,
Trying to find the graceful figure from the past,
Hoping to see the shadow of the one I once loved.
By the river, the waves crash gently,
My heart is silent as I whisper your name.
If only the heavens would bring back,
The old autumn breeze, with you by my side.

8. Poem: The Unfading Longing - Phan Thị Tuyết Vân
The Unfading Longing
Poem by: Phan Thị Tuyết Vân
You return one autumn morning,
The faint sunlight casts a gentle, noble hue.
The old path, covered with soft golden leaves,
As if someone left behind a long, forgotten silk.
The narrow alley, once marked by footprints,
Now holds the twilight, filled with memories.
Suddenly, the evening sways, casting shadows,
The seasonal winds bring the breath of fall.
Autumn has arrived, recalling old promises,
As the rain softly lands, like a comb’s teeth.
Love and anger merge, making lips soft, eyes wet,
While golden leaves drift, overwhelmed by longing.
The waves of my heart rise, unyielding,
The winds blow strongly, bending the trees.
Countless emotions surge within me,
My heart sways...
Softly calling... My lost love...!!!

9. Poem: The Heo May Wind - Phan Thu Hà
The Heo May Wind
Poem by: Phan Thu Hà
The old month hesitates, summer still lingers,
Suddenly, the rain comes, drifting through the air.
The jasmine flowers softly fall by the cold doorstep,
Autumn quietly stirs, with the Heo May breeze.
This autumn feels strange and unfamiliar,
The golden leaves mark the life of a lotus.
The daisies hold the morning dew in their buds,
Waiting for the day they bloom along the familiar path.
The city stands still, the melancholy breeze rustling,
Shivering rooftops with moss-covered tiles.
In the late-night sky, a lost star flickers,
Bringing illusory love, falling by the window.
Autumn has arrived, but the moon is late,
A feeling of longing stirs as I remember a night in autumn.
Someone tucked the moonlight in their hair,
As the wind softly plays a lullaby.
I search for the echo of the past,
Chasing the fleeting shadows of time.
One day, life slows, and peace returns,
When the Heo May wind turns the world to gold.

10. Poem: Waiting for the Distant Land - Tú Uyên
Waiting for the Distant Land
Poem by: Tú Uyên
The Heo May breeze at eleven,
The golden haze of longing,
The turning of seasons,
In every breath I take.
I trample the evening,
Hoping for the southern sun.
As the eleventh hour strikes,
Autumn hastily shuts its door.
I fear the early cold,
That will turn our love to yellowing leaves,
While you close your eyes in sorrow,
And the memories turn yellow with time.
I remember you, as the leaves curl at dusk.
One blossom of Quỳnh fragrance,
Lonely... fading away.
Tú Uyên

11. Poem: The Heo May Wind - Trần Diệu Hương
The Heo May Wind
Poem by: Trần Diệu Hương
My love, do you remember when the season turned?
Autumn has come, softly and gently,
I once thought my heart was naive,
But love grew intensely, exchanging hurried kisses.
As autumn arrives, love deepens, becoming more vibrant,
Raindrops from a sudden shower fall,
The Heo May wind seems to play, teasing your hair in the street,
The rich fragrance of milk flowers fills the air each time autumn comes.
The breeze is tender, and the sunlight remains golden,
Delicate threads weave, bringing a soft, smooth season,
“I love you,” whispered my beloved quietly,
And you nodded, eyes closing gently, lips meeting in a soft kiss.

12. Poem: Which Wind? - Hồ Viết Bình
Which Wind?
Poem by: Hồ Viết Bình
Which wind is passing by the window?
Your hair flowing freely in the breeze,
In the garden, white chrysanthemums are blooming,
Cool air and yellow leaves drift across the street.
Your embroidered scarf still wraps around your neck,
Fragrant with the intoxicating scent of milk flowers,
Shoulder to shoulder, hands tightly clasped,
Sharing warmth, waiting for winter’s arrival.
After long days apart,
You long for the return of a distant bird,
The dry wind brings autumn back to us,
On our reunion day, we’ll sip wine together.
Oh, yellow clouds! Drift slowly away,
So that hearts can linger on old memories,
Purple aster blooms at the end of the season,
Gently blowing, the Heo May wind has returned.

13. Poem: August (1) - Thu Hiền
August (1)
Poem by: Thu Hiền
August has arrived, do you know?
Don’t get lost in dreams of the pink sunlight,
Along the road, dandelions bloom,
Spreading a yellow hue... full of longing.
August has come, bringing the cool Heo May wind,
Sunshine, rain, and thick mist alternate,
Remember to take a jacket and pin up your hair,
Otherwise, the wind will tangle your locks.
August spreads a blanket of falling yellow leaves,
Don’t head to the crowded streets in the evening,
Bare feet kiss the colors of nostalgia,
Lost in thought... suddenly, someone forgets to smile.
August brings distant memories,
Back through the current of time... tears blur,
Reaching out to hold onto the long-gone days,
Suddenly waking up... it's just me with myself.
August has returned... another season gone.

14. Poem: Gentle August - Trần Hữu Đạt
Gentle August
Poem by: Trần Hữu Đạt
A sudden shower drifts across the evening,
Playful autumn teases the West Lake,
Pair of quails in ecstasy,
Chirping happily, calling out their love.
The lotus laments, its fragrance fading,
Vòng village’s green sticky rice awaits its bride,
Morning mist dances, casting an ethereal veil,
Waves gently caress the boat, in a dazed embrace.
The early moon stares blankly, making promises,
Heo May arrives timidly, embracing the night streets,
The Milky Way stretches endlessly, adding more longing,
Raising a cup, sipping the moonlight, imagining your form.

15. Poem: Sending Autumn Back - Nguyễn Lan Hương
Sending Autumn Back
Poem by: Nguyễn Lan Hương
I send my smile back to the autumn sky,
Welcoming the season's change, wrapped in memories of the past,
The warm sunlight seems insufficient,
As the cool Heo May breeze ushers in the transition.
I stretch out my hand, trying to catch a bit of past fragrance,
Suddenly meeting the northern wind's touch,
Perhaps this evening, you'll remind me,
Of the endless rain and the winds of the heart.
I place one foot toward winter,
Returning to you the golden leaves of old,
The corner of the street this evening feels soft, trembling,
As the winds stir, bringing complexity and change.
Will you catch up with me, walking slowly,
Recalling the time of fragrant flowers,
Or will you wait a little longer for the cold?
Waiting in between two seasons, feeling lost.
I send my warm smile back to the autumn sky...

16. Poem: Heo May
Heo May
Author: Phan Thúc Định
The Heo May breeze drifts in, faint against the distant sky,
Wrapping the morning in mist, shortening the daylight hours,
Do the lake's waves pale with an empty ache?
The empty street corner hums a silent song.
The fields sigh, overgrown grass left to wither in every direction,
A lost wind wanders aimlessly, forgetting its course,
Dust clouds lift momentarily, stained with the color of decay,
As the day gently closes, with mosquitoes swirling at the embankment.
The night stretches on, with milk flowers scenting the path home,
By the window, the crescent moon gazes absent-mindedly,
A faint, chilly breeze fills the air, as if silently pleading,
For autumn to linger a bit longer, so dreams can ripen sweetly.
The Heo May breeze shudders with every cry,
The wind whispers softly, matching the heartbeat of the night,
By West Lake, do you ever think of me?
Hand in hand, we chase the waves, our hearts full of longing.
The Heo May breeze slows our every step,
The leaves hang heavy, surrounded by loneliness,
Your lips no longer plump with warmth,
But your hand in mine, your cheek resting gently against my palm, turning rosy.
13/8/2018.
Phan Thúc Định.

17. Poem: Written at the Street-side Tea Stall
Written at the Street-side Tea Stall
Poem: Chu Minh Khôi
The small tea stall by the roadside stands in peace,
We share a cup of iced tea, an offering of life's fleeting moments,
Half a life spent smoothing the edges of pain,
The other half collecting the colors of the world.
Autumn rests on the table,
If you wish, come borrow a sip,
A cup full of tender love,
As fallen leaves from the sidewalk blend with the cool Heo May breeze.
What do the eyes or the smile matter,
When distance becomes the currency of life,
Where does your scent drift now?
I drink deeply, lost in the vastness of space and time.
I sip slowly, savoring the bitterness of the tea,
Its taste lingering, like a reflection passing through my soul,
Silence speaks volumes, though it's not unseen,
Unable to revive the love that has withered away.
I am not a wanderer of the world,
Meeting you feels like catching a boat I missed,
By the roadside, the tea stall feels so distant,
Until I find myself seated in the stillness of peace.

18. Poem: It's the Heo May's Fault
It's the Heo May's Fault
Poem: Phạm Hùng
I search the old corner of the street,
Gathering pieces of a love we once shared,
Back when we were lost in promises,
When lips still met in passionate embrace.
A wandering soul stands still at dusk,
Watching a leaf tilt gently in the fading sunlight,
You arrived and flew away like a song,
"The bird crosses the river, leaving its vows behind."
Who has left... and who is left with a heart in pain?
Autumn remains unchanged, as it always is,
The old street, where my footsteps wander aimlessly,
It's the Heo May breeze... so sharp it aches my soul.
