2. Warm-up Game: Who's Faster?
Objective:
- Review previously learned material while introducing new topics.
- Enhance quick reactions, observation skills, accuracy in evaluation, and time management.
- Encourage self-discipline and friendly competition among students.
Preparation:
- Teacher: Prepare a set of questions and answers.
- Students: Have 'true' and 'false' cards ready.
Instructions:
- Divide the class into 4 teams, with each team corresponding to one group. Appoint 4 team leaders as referees, who will monitor and cross-check answers. One secretary will record the results.
- Time: 4 minutes
- Rules: The teacher will present each question one by one. Students can only respond after the teacher finishes reading the full question. Students then use their 'true' or 'false' cards to answer. Any student who breaks the rule will be disqualified. After each answer, the teacher will immediately provide the correct answer for students to compare.
- Scoring: Each correct answer earns 10 points per student, while incorrect answers result in a 5-point deduction per student. The total score for each team will be updated on the board after each round.
Questions may relate to the previous lesson, to help review before introducing new material.


3. Warm-up Game: Passing the Flower
Preparation: A rose, a set of questions, and prizes.
Rules:
- The game leader starts by singing a song, and the whole class sings along while passing the flower around.
- When the song ends, the student holding the flower must answer a question hidden inside the flower.
- If the answer is correct, the student wins a prize.
- If the answer is wrong, the student must pass the opportunity to another volunteer student.
Note: Besides the rose, you can also use a gift box and play the game in the same way. In this case, the game is called 'The Secret Gift Box'.

4. Warm-up Game: Archery - Call the Name
Preparation: No preparation is required.
Rules:
- The game leader calls out: 'Archery, archery', and the class responds with: 'What’s the name, what’s the name?'
- Then, the game leader will call out a student's name and ask them a question.
- If the student answers correctly, the entire class will clap and cheer.
Note: The questions can relate to the previously learned material to help the students review the past lessons.

5. Warm-up Game: Electric Game - Passing Electricity
Objective: Help students memorize multiplication and division tables (designed for 3rd-grade students).
Game Duration: 7 – 10 minutes.
Rules: The teacher divides the class into two teams for a competitive game.
The teacher will start by announcing a math question, for example, 5 x 9, and point to a student from one of the teams. The student must immediately provide the answer. If the answer is correct, the student can 'zap' a member of the opposing team by pointing at them. The student then asks any math question, such as 50 ÷ 10, and the pointed student must immediately answer 5, then 'zaps' a team member back. The teacher, along with two secretaries, will record each team’s score. At the end of the game, the team with the most correct answers wins.
Note: If a student hesitates and does not immediately provide an answer, they lose the chance to answer and 'zap', and the teacher will choose another student to continue.

6. Warm-up Game: In and Out
Preparation: No preparation required.
Rules are simple:
- The leader shouts 'In and Out,' and the students must follow the leader’s instructions.
- Initially, the leader should speak slowly to help students get used to the game, gradually increasing the speed as they become more familiar.
- Anyone who makes a mistake will be penalized.


7. Warm-up Game: Fish Swim, Fish Jump
How to Play:
- The teacher or a student leads the game.
- Everyone stands up.
- The leader demonstrates the actions, and students follow along.
- The teacher says: 'Water surface,' and moves their hands horizontally to represent the water. The students copy the movement and repeat it loudly.
- The teacher calls: 'Fish jump,' raises their hands high, and the students follow, shouting: 'Chíu.'
- The teacher says: 'Fish dive,' lowers their hands, and the students follow, shouting: 'Chủm.'
Note:
- The leader might say one thing and do another.
- The leader may intentionally distract the players.
- The leader may increase the speed to confuse the players.
- Anyone who makes a mistake will face a fun penalty.


8. Warm-up Game: Alibaba
How to Play:
The game leader will sing along with the Alibaba song, incorporating actions that the class must follow while singing 'Alibaba.' For example:
Once upon a time in the city of Baghdad, there was a lovely young man named Alibaba - Alibaba.
Alibaba asks us to stand up straight - Alibaba.
Alibaba asks us to raise our right hand - Alibaba.
Alibaba asks us to raise our left hand - Alibaba.
Alibaba asks us to clap loudly - Alibaba.
Alibaba asks us to clap above our heads - Alibaba.
Alibaba asks us to clap and shake our hips quickly - Alibaba.
Alibaba asks us to study diligently - Alibaba.


9. Warm-up Game: I Am the King
How to Play:
- The students will form a circle with the game leader standing in the middle.
- When the leader points at any student in the circle, that student must declare: 'I am the king,' while the two students beside them must say: 'Long live the king!' and kneel down.
- The leader continues pointing at different students quickly to keep the game exciting and fast-paced.

10. Warm-up Game: The Polite Player
Game Rules: The players will only follow the game leader's instructions when the leader includes the phrase 'please do.' For example:
- The leader says, 'Please raise your left hand.'
- The player raises their left hand.
- The leader says, 'Put your hands down.'
- If the leader doesn't say 'please do' and the player puts their hands down, they break the rule.
- The game leader speeds up the instructions to make the game more exciting.


11. Warm-up Game: Eliminate Harmful Animals
The game leader asks the group to form a U-shape or a circle.
- The game leader will give instructions: When the leader names a useful animal (such as a chicken, pig, horse, bird, etc.), the players must shout 'protect' and raise their right hand. When the leader names a harmful animal (such as a mosquito, cockroach, fly, grasshopper, etc.), the players must shout 'eliminate' and raise their left hand.
- The game leader demonstrates the actions, and the players follow accordingly. The leader may also deliberately make a mistake to trick the players. Those who do not follow the instructions correctly, hesitate, or fail to act will be penalized.

How to play: The game leader will guide the players through different actions.
- When the leader says "Import," the player must bring their hand to their mouth with fingers pointed outward and wrist close to the neck.
- When the leader says "Process," the player should rub their stomach with their hands.
- When the leader says "Export," the player must stretch their right hand backward with fingers pointed outward and wrist near their waist.
Note: The leader may say one thing but perform another to trick the players. Anyone who performs the wrong action will be penalized.


13. Warm-up Game: "The Rabbit Game"
Objective: Create a fun, relaxed environment while enhancing memory, focus, quick reflexes, and liveliness.
How to play: The game leader will guide players through various movements.
- When the leader says "The Rabbit," the player should raise their right hand high.
- When the leader says "The Rabbit eats grass," the player should bring their right hand down, with fingers pressed together against their left palm.
- When the leader says "The Rabbit drinks water," the player should place their right hand near their mouth, tilting their head slightly back.
- When the leader says "The Rabbit goes into its hole," the player should place their right hand near their ear with fingers pressed together.
- When the leader says "The Rabbit goes to sleep," the player should place their right hand near their eyes, fingers pressed together.
Note: The leader may say one thing but perform another action to trick the players. Anyone who performs the wrong action will be penalized.


14. Warm-up Game: "Stand, Sit, Clap Hands"
Objective: Create a lively, fun atmosphere while improving memory, focus, reflexes, and agility.
How to play: The leader will guide the players through the actions.
- When the leader says "Stand," the player should "Sit" down.
- When the leader says "Sit," the player should "Clap" their hands.
- When the leader says "Clap hands," the player should "Stand" up.
Note: The leader may say one action but perform a different one to trick the players. Anyone who performs the wrong action will be penalized.


15. Warm-up Game: "I Need"
Objective: Create a lively and fun atmosphere, enhance quick reflexes, agility, and teamwork, and promote the spirit of helping each other.
How to play:
- Collect items as directed by the leader.
- The leader divides the players into teams based on the number of participants.
- The leader calls out "I need, I need..." and the players reply with "What do you need, what do you need?"
- The leader then says, "I need 3 pens." The teams must bring 3 pens to the leader. The first team to bring the correct number of items wins.
- The leader can ask for different items, such as shoes, socks, phones, etc.
Note: Each team sends one player at a time to bring the items.


16. Warm-up Game: Wind Blows (left, right, forward, backward)
How to play: The leader gives instructions: Imagine you're a tree. Everyone stands with arms outstretched to form a row of trees. When the wind blows in a direction, everyone leans that way.
The class stands with arms extended to both sides.
- Leader: (Shouts) Wind blows, wind blows.
- Class: Where to, where to?
- Leader: To the left, to the left.
- Class: Lean to the left.
- Leader: Wind blows, wind blows.
Class: Where to, where to? - Leader: To the right, to the right.
- Class: Lean to the right.
- Leader continues calling out for other directions: forward, backward.
Note: The leader repeats the directions multiple times and increases the speed of instructions to help the students improve their reflexes.


17. Warm-up Game: Who Did It Right?
Objective: To develop concentration, teamwork, and quick reflexes in the students.
How to play: The leader designates one group to act as chicks, another as hens, and another as roosters. When their name and the leader’s hand gesture are called, each group must make the appropriate animal sound. For example: Chicks say 'chip chip', Hens say 'cuck...tac', Roosters say 'o...o...o'.
The leader points to each group, and if the group is slow, incorrect, or doesn't respond, they break the rules.
Note: To test which group has the quickest reflexes, the leader can point at one group but call another group’s name, causing confusion. Anyone who makes a mistake will be penalized.


18. Warm-up Game: “Rain, Rain”
How to play:
Leader: (shouts) Rain, rain
Class: (mimes actions) Cover your head with an umbrella or hat (place both hands on top of your head)
Leader: Light rain
Class: Tap, tap, tap (clap lightly with hands)
Leader: Heavy rain
Class: Thud, thud (clap loudly)
