1. Poem: Early Fall - Thanh Trang
EARLY FALL
Author: Thanh Trang
The sweet fragrance of guava drifts through the air
As it carries a taste past two rows of Milk Flowers
The scent is gentle, the wind brings it inside
Enveloping me like half of my soul.
The golden Chrysanthemum blooms, a kiss so soft
I touch it lightly, feeling a thrilling surprise
You are so beautiful, making my soul rejoice
The essence of Fall appears as though in a paradise.
Nothing is bare when the scents and colors persist
Adding a few petals to the shoulders of early Fall
Carrying the voice of Autumn, so rich and deep
The life’s leaf is already dressed in Fall’s coat.
The cloud smiles, following the rhythm of the journey
The sun lingers behind morning mist
I float, intoxicated by the image of a new dawn
Gently kissing, as the fragrance of Fall fills the air.

2. Poem: Autumn Love Song - Dạ Quỳnh
AUTUMN LOVE SONG
Author: Dạ Quỳnh
"The day you picked a branch of Aster flowers
Could it be that Autumn has already died?"
Old memories fall into the tight corners
Life’s dreams dissolve like petals drifting away.
The path of love you tread feels uncertain.
The purple of loyalty...but...
also symbolizes the color of farewell
We parted, and you were caught in harsh fate
Silent marks counting the passing of seasons.
Could it be that our love... carries the hue of lime?
To cast a distant sadness in the depths of your gaze
Why, even when it’s just the beginning of Fall, do I feel a chill in my soul?
Or is it the sad clouds that have taken the sun for a playful stroll?
Our love, don’t you think? It’s not as vast as the ocean
I love us more... letting go...
of the waiting, the longing
Let’s meet again in the next Autumns
The sad purple flowers, dyeing the dreamy sky purple.
Dạ Quỳnh

3. Poem
LOST AUTUMN
Author: Đồng Văn Thanh
Why did Autumn get lost in the midst of summer?
A stretch of calm blue sky, so gentle
Is there something that makes it flirt and tease?
Embracing Autumn so tightly, unwilling to let go!
The morning is clear, as if it has just begun
The Autumn mist stains the leaves of the starfruit tree
So far away... reminding of the clumsy years
Suddenly, the soft sounds of Autumn flood back.
The tender thread of Autumn spins a soft thread
The Autumn stream carries the fleeting moments, magical
How many can be poured into the thirsty land
It’s a pity for those who dream... heralding Autumn's arrival.
Autumn does not wander aimlessly...
Why does its melancholy wake up the landscape?
My heartbeat quickens inside my chest
Why leave at such a moment, dear Autumn?
Please, give me a few drops of falling Autumn
To scatter across the barren land
There’s an empty space in me that needs saving
With a soul lost in this earthly realm...

4. Poem: Purple Flower - Phan Trung
PURPLE FLOWER...!
Poem: Phan Trung
Summer’s end... do you see it, my dear?
Autumn knocks at the door, with leaves falling every night
The sound of footsteps makes someone hesitate
Summer has passed... and Autumn is just beginning to arrive.
Words of advice before I leave for distant lands
Take care, don’t skip meals
In the battlefields where the sun and fire burn
Promise me you’ll stop drinking, please.
Even the sky holds back its love when I enlist
I tell myself to stay strong
The duties of filial piety now fall on you
Wait for me to return, and we will be united.
Do you know, my dear, from the faraway frontlines
I still hold onto a thousand words of love
Calling out to you in the long, restless nights
Smiling softly in those wild dreams.
Two years later, my service complete, I return to the village
Walking joyfully, with a sprig of purple orchid
Then, I stop dead in my tracks, my heart sinking
Your wedding dress in the arms of another man.
The village path is filled with the sorrowful remnants of firecrackers
Exchanging well wishes, but my heart is shattered
Somewhere, I hear the music playing
PURPLE FLOWER, the bittersweet memory of first love...!

5. Poem: Early Autumn - Nguyễn Nguyệt Anh
EARLY AUTUMN
Poem: Nguyễn Nguyệt Anh
The sun gently...
Caresses each leaf
What joy must one feel to fall so deeply into poetry?
To see someone standing, waiting, trembling
With a parched mouth and heart full of longing...
The waves of the heart rise, crashing gently
The melody of love plays, without words
Hear the sweet calling, "Hey... my love!"
Oh, the endless embrace of the ocean, a love forever deep.
The leaves of early autumn turn into golden silk
We are amazed, reweaving the story of a glorious life
The echo of footsteps fades as the journey continues
Each dawn illuminates the clarity of our hearts.
Let your soul follow the drifting clouds
Touch the sun, so the meaning of poetry is revealed
In love, let's hold on to our hope
And wait to return to the shores of our dreams.

6. Poem: Early Autumn - Phạm Hồng Giang
EARLY AUTUMN
Author: Phạm Hồng Giang
He picks up a fallen yellow leaf by the roadside
Suddenly, he realizes that autumn has arrived
Is it because he was too busy with the Mù U fruit?
That he forgot the lullaby carried away by the wind?
The love poem written then left unfinished
The words float somewhere, never to return
The purple flowers of the Bằng lăng still bloom with passion
But now, only the hurried path you walk remains.
The rain drops in the twilight, making everything sway
The chilly wind stings with the pain in his heart
The sunset falls, leaving behind a fragile yearning
The heart wilts, swaying in uneven beats.
Is autumn hurrying to arrive in time?
Afraid that the summer’s end will cause the Bìm Bịp to cry for rain?
He gathers and wraps up some leftover fate
To let autumn come as if it had never worried.
Early autumn, the poem is still half-written
Yet it is filled with passion...
Longing...
Whose shadow is this?

7. Poem: Night Song of Autumn - Trịnh Thanh Hằng
NIGHT SONG OF AUTUMN
Poem by Trịnh Thanh Hằng
The sweet fragrance of milk flowers is gone
The old Sấu tree shed its last leaves yesterday
The summer sun must fade away
The chilly wind arrives, lightly brushing someone’s hair.
Autumn brings a soft and tender breath
The wind plays gently with rosy lips
The scent of young green rice fills the air as street vendors pass by
Soft footsteps of the lotus flower rise near the end of the street.
The stormy summer is now a distant memory
Autumn has arrived, softening eyes and lips
The sighs of the past are buried away
Autumn has come, to bring eternal intoxication.
Let’s exchange words of love and longing
So that the golden autumn doesn’t fade away
Let the yellow chrysanthemums bloom forever
And let autumn always carry the promise of our vows.

8. Poem: Early Autumn - Phan Thu Hà
EARLY AUTUMN
By: Phan Thu Hà
This morning, sunlight bathes the street
The golden silk of the sun warming the air
It seems autumn has gently arrived
Turning the sky into an unexpected blue.
Oh, that green like jade
The autumn lake or your eyes
Bringing back the scent of milk flowers
Wrapping autumn in peaceful serenity.
The chrysanthemums awake
Could it be the warm kiss
Of autumn in Hanoi
That just stirred you?
The stillness of the lake gathers
Whispering a lullaby
Sweet like a mother's voice:
"Autumn winds, autumn winds."
Thank you, early autumn
For bringing a touch of gentleness
For letting me become a breeze
Wandering freely, with ease!

9. Poem: Autumn Arrives - Trần Đức Nghĩa
Autumn Arrives
Poem: Trần Đức Nghĩa
Facebook: Nghia Tran
Autumn arrives, wearing the yellow dress of a blazing summer
Which for so long has melted under the hot sun
She gently releases the trace of the void
As the wind blows softly, burying the old leaves...
The quiet road now welcomes the rain in reunion
The wind and clouds awake to greet countless seasons
When autumn comes, summer’s heat yields to defeat
It agrees... autumn quietly sweeps away the silence...
Morning releases a soft blue sky with faint sunlight
The forest birds call each other back home
They gather, building their nests, whispering joyfully
Celebrating together beneath the old tamarind tree...
Beloved autumn, wrapped in love and affection
Welcomes her arrival this very day
Wishing for autumn to stay for a hundred days
Full of happiness and sweet dreams evermore...

10. Poem: The Village in Autumn - Đỗ Thị Phương Lan
THE VILLAGE IN AUTUMN
Author: Đỗ Thị Phương Lan
Wandering, autumn arrives
The bìm bìm vine flaunts its color
Purple along the dike
Autumn sunlight shining clear and bright.
The autumn sky, a deep blue
A figure stands silently, waiting for someone
Smiling gently, tucking back their hair
The autumn scenery entices, making one dream.
Around the village
The scent of green rice wafts
Dragonflies cling to fences
The golden sun stretches endlessly.
From afar, the sound of a hammock swaying
Squeaking as it moves back and forth
The grandmother sings a lullaby to her grandchild
The lullaby soars, carried by the wind over the fields.
The rice fields are vast
Heavy with rice grains, golden and full
As the autumn breeze brings a sweet fragrance
The smell of ripe rice fills the air, enchanting the heart.
The sound of singing echoes
Carried by the wind
A boat drifts gently with the oars
The peaceful village reminds of autumn long past...

11. Poem: Early Autumn - Trương Túy Anh
EARLY AUTUMN
Poem by: Trương Túy Anh
The chrysanthemums on the porch bloom in yellow
Glistening dew settles, gently welcoming autumn
Beyond the garden, the rooster crows loudly
The Sun peeks out, spreading golden rays over the river.
Looking out at the fields, the rice grows lush and green
Sprouting flowers, filling the air with their fragrance
The scorching heat slowly fades away
As early autumn arrives, the sky and earth embrace a misty haze.
The subtle scent of pink guavas lingers in the air
Dry leaves sway, reluctant to leave their branches
The sky above is deep and clear
As hurried birds fly around searching for food.
The summer clings on, reluctant to let go
Desiring to linger, yet knowing early autumn is here
The soft clouds gently gather on all sides
Footsteps quietly tread, leaves falling by the wayside.
The old path, where we once stood waiting
Longing for... your memory, far away...

12. Poem: Season Change - Doãn Kim Oanh
SEASON CHANGE
By: Doãn Kim Oanh
As the season comes through the street
It brings with it sunlight and flowers
The yellow chrysanthemums reminisce
While I am left alone with myself.
The struggles of life are felt deeply
And I wander like moss on stones
The current of life flows on
Yet I remain distant.
Look, my dear, beside the flowers
Your smile so bright
Through all the storms and trials
Happiness has finally arrived.
Oh, my love
Let go of sadness, let it fade.

13. Poem: Autumn Is Coming - Hồ Viết Bình
AUTUMN IS COMING
By: Hồ Viết Bình
Do you see the golden summer fading away,
The scent of village rice cakes hinting at autumn's arrival?
The clouds wander aimlessly, grieving the golden sunlight,
While I gaze, captivated by the village gate through the window.
The storks and herons return to their nests,
And those far from home suddenly long for their homeland.
Goodbye to you, autumn's lingering embrace,
Your dew-kissed hair reminds me of summer's warmth.
Under the tree’s shade, there's a familiar yet strange scent,
Perhaps the fragrance of guava flowers floating in the air.
Look over there, the white clouds stretch across the tree,
Like the silk dress you wear, full of cherished memories.

14. Poem: The Muse 2 - Trần Lực
THE MUSE 2
By: Trần Lực
(The eight-syllable rhymes)
Night and day, I collect the lines of poetry,
For I have loved you beyond measure.
I bid farewell to the summer, filled with longing,
And welcome autumn, eagerly awaiting its return.
The beautiful one promises a fateful bond,
The noble soul silently exchanges vows,
Hoping that in the future, there will be no regrets,
And my soul will not wander in the distant haze.

15. Poem: Summer Fades - Bùi Thế Uyên
SUMMER FADES
By: Bùi Thế Uyên
The autumn comes with golden leaves hiding the clouds,
The sun still drips, filling the familiar alley.
Summer fades, withered, the lotus stands alone,
And the purple flowers bloom, intertwining with this love.
The fall arrives, withered, as the rain drifts,
A person departs, leaving behind this sorrow for whom?
Looking on, eyes filled with sorrow,
The autumn night is lonely, and the pageant is filled with yearning.
The one who left, far beyond the road,
A kiss tightens, a never-ending love,
Where are the dreams of the past?
My heart recalls summer, feeling closer to you...

16. Poem: Random Thoughts on the First Night of Autumn - Phạm Quang Thu
RANDOM THOUGHTS ON THE FIRST NIGHT OF AUTUMN
By: Phạm Quang Thu
You said tonight the moon is absolutely beautiful,
Hanging in the tranquil, pure blue sky,
And the air feels crystal clear!
The wind blows softly, yellow leaves fluttering,
Falling gently onto the quiet street,
The night is bathed in blue and gold light from the moon,
Hà Thành feels like a poetic canvas!
West Lake at night is like a dream,
Trúc Bạch, veiled in mist, bamboo swaying,
Trấn Quốc Pagoda stands like a dot on a vertical line,
Cổ Ngư, peaceful, is the music of love!
Ba Đình is warm all day long,
But at night, it cools down,
The wind from the Red River hums,
Hoàng Diệu, Nguyễn Tri Phương, the music carries a sad tune.
The moon flickers,
Hoàn Kiếm feels like a dream, surrounded in an enchanting haze,
The green color of young banana leaves resembles seaweed,
But I’m still enchanted by stories from the past.
Trấn Phong Ba still blocks the fierce waves,
Shimmering with legends,
The Ngọc Sơn Temple speaks in silence,
While Thê Húc resembles a delicate pink mustache.
Tả Thanh Thiên writes poetry in the sky,
While Old Hà Nội blooms in a red autumn fairytale!
I walk through the first autumn night—just as though it were a sign,
Hà Thành is in love with Autumn!

17. Poem: Autumn Rain - Đỗ Hương
AUTUMN RAIN
By: Đỗ Hương
Hà Nội this season is filled with heavy downpours,
The old trees shiver, their branches damp and cold,
A little sparrow, lost in play, forgets its way,
Not realizing the streets are swamped with rain.
Hà Nội lingers, caught between summer and autumn,
Rivers of water carry fallen leaves along the streets,
The city turns into a bewildered river,
The leaves swirl in a frantic dance behind the elegant heels.
Hà Nội in the rain, the trees gently sway,
The cleaning lady smiles as she runs with the current,
Her hair messily tousled, a slipper floats by,
Her angelic smile whispers, “Surely in a rush, a customer must have dropped this!”
The Old Quarter today is lashed with wind and rain,
The cries of the sky never cease to drip sadness onto the stones,
The water flows endlessly, falling softly,
The rain reminds me of the bright, clear sunshine of yesterday.
Remembering the autumns of old, the little sparrows flying across the sky,
Fleeing from the last rays of sunlight,
The wind has kept its secret for three silent seasons,
Only for autumn to return, stirring the whole world.
Could it be that autumn carries a rush of love?
The golden leaves tremble like a shy smile,
Such deep affection! But it hurries away as if afraid...
Afraid that autumn will linger briefly and then depart?
Hastily, I catch the distant sounds of Trương Chi’s song,
Tying them tightly into the memories of autumn,
The moon glows peacefully, the boat glides gently as if breathing,
Could it be that you return, and my dreams are pure once again?

18. Poem: Autumn - You - I - Chu Long
AUTUMN-YOU-I
By: Chu Long
The autumn afternoon that day was as beautiful as a dream,
The sky was light, the breeze gentle, and the golden sunlight wove through the silk.
The cicadas’ song softened, the crimson phoenix flowers faded, and the first chrysanthemums of the season let their fragrance drift lazily.
The autumn night that day was simply marvelous,
I was able to gaze upon the sacred expanse of the sky,
A kiss sealed our lips, sending shivers of excitement,
Our hearts entwined, lost in shared dreams.
That autumn night, full of color,
I could see the green garden of betel leaves before my eyes,
My hands could gently touch the ripe areca nuts,
The sweet fragrance of flowers rising from deep within their cores.
That autumn night, just the two of us,
The wind howled, bringing storms to the world,
But the world itself felt false… Only we were real,
Pure, intoxicated love blossomed in the night garden.
In this private world, happiness was soft and serene,
Only we knew, as Earth and Sky whispered throughout the day and night.
One autumn, one night so wondrous,
The flowers surrendered their souls to autumn’s colors.

19. Poem: The Farewell of the Changing Seasons - Hoàng Minh Tuấn
THE FAREWELL OF THE CHANGING SEASONS!
Poem: Hoàng Minh Tuấn
How I long for those final days of summer,
The dry golden sunshine gently brushing the willow’s hair,
The fragrance of guava lingering in the air,
The transition from summer brimming with wistful longing!
The last of the phoenix flowers cling to the tree,
Still intoxicated, still glowing with fiery passion,
The air turns cool with a hint of autumn’s breath,
While the lake mirrors the delicate veil of mist!
The wind stirs, sending golden leaves drifting to the ground,
The sunlight, tinged with gold, waits for autumn’s arrival,
The moon shines down, bathing the countryside in silver,
The quiet streets welcome the scent of autumn knocking at the door!
The final summer rain brings with it a sweet reminder,
As it falls and sweeps the leaves along the road,
Like the bittersweet farewell to a beloved summer,
Autumn might just be waving its hand to bid goodbye!
The changing season stirs a restless heart,
Half longing for autumn, half mourning the passing summer,
Leaving my soul heavy with deep nostalgia,
Oh, changing season, please don’t hurry by too soon!
