1. Faulty Buttons or Speed Control Switches
Cause: The metal contact points can wear down due to frequent friction during use, or over time, they may rust and accumulate dirt, making it difficult for the electrical connection to work properly.
Solution: To fix this, spray a lubricant like WD40 into the grooves of the buttons or switches to remove rust and dirt. Press and release the buttons multiple times until the issue is resolved. If the metal contact is worn down, replacing the buttons may be necessary.

3. Detached Fan Blades
Cause: Over time, the fan blades may wear down due to continuous rotation around the axis. When subjected to strong forces, they may detach from the fan.
Solution: Replace the rotating axis. This requires expertise in repair, or you can take the fan to a professional repair shop if needed.

4. How to Fix a Noisy Electric Fan
A noisy electric fan is a common issue that many users encounter. The cause is usually prolonged use of the fan, which causes the motor to dry out, resulting in increased friction that generates noise.
Solution: Use the fan at moderate speed, regularly check the motor, and apply lubricant to keep it running smoothly.

5. Fan is Hotter than Usual
Cause: This could happen if the fan is operated at maximum speed for too long, or if the fan's motor is dry, causing excessive friction that generates heat.
Solution: Avoid running the fan at high settings for extended periods. Disassemble the motor and apply lubricant to the engine.

6. The fan is shaking violently
Cause: Fans, such as pedestal and tower fans, may begin to shake after prolonged use. This is mainly caused by loose screws or joints, or by the fan being adjusted to an unsuitable height.
Solution: This issue is easily fixed by checking and tightening the screws or joints, and avoiding adjusting the fan too high or running it at maximum speed for extended periods of time.

7. The power button won't turn on
Cause: This may be due to an unstable power supply or overloading the fan, which causes the control valve to malfunction.
Solution: Check the power supply and control valve. If damaged, take it to a reliable service shop for repair.

8. The fan isn't spinning and making motor noises
Cause: This could be due to a disconnection between the rotating shaft and bearing, the contact points being dry, or an issue with the rotating shaft itself.
Solution: Disassemble the fan and apply oil to the bearings.

10. The fan has a broken electrical wire
Cause: Some fans have poor quality wiring, which can easily deteriorate or break after prolonged use.
Solution: Replace the wire with a more durable one, and keep the fan in a dry, well-ventilated area.

11. The decorative light is damaged
Cause: If the light is turned on while using the fan, the light can easily get damaged because the connecting wire is too thin and has low resistance.
Solution: Connect two light bulbs in series at the decorative light location and try to avoid turning on both the light and fan at the same time.

12. Broken timer
Cause: The timer might be damaged due to infrequent use, leading to rust and making it inoperable.
Solution: You can apply lubricant spray into the groove and rotate it back and forth several times.

13. Broken rotor shaft and bearing
Cause: The rotor shaft and bearing might be damaged after extended use, as they wear out and fail over time.
Solution: To resolve this issue, both the bearing and the rotor shaft should be replaced, as replacing just one will cause the other to break soon after. Be sure to choose the correct parts that match your fan's size.

14. Burnt fan coil
Cause: A burnt fan coil may be caused by unstable electrical power or extended use of the fan.
Solution: To fix the issue, purchase a new fan coil and replace the damaged one. When installing the new coil, ensure the correct orientation of the front and back to avoid installing it incorrectly.

15. Faulty Capacitor
Cause: Upon opening the control box, you notice that the shaft and bearing are not worn or damaged. After lubricating and thoroughly cleaning them, the fan still operates slowly. In this case, the slow fan speed could be due to a faulty capacitor.
Solution:
- If you have experience with fan repairs, you can purchase a capacitor with the same voltage and capacitance ratings as the old one and replace it yourself.
- If you lack experience, it is best to take the fan to a service center or repair shop where the staff can replace the faulty capacitor for you.

17. Fan Not Running When Power Button is On
Cause: The issue may be due to an unstable power supply or loose connections at the plugs. Additionally, it could be caused by a malfunctioning power button on the fan.
Solution: To fix this, first check the power supply, fuse, and control switch to ensure they are functioning properly. Also, verify that the voltage is appropriate. Once you identify the cause, you can either fix the issue on-site (if possible) or take the fan to a repair shop for further assistance.

18. How to Fix a Fan with Seized Bearings
Cause: Over time, the bearings can wear down during operation, causing the rotor to misalign and make contact with the stator.
Solution: To resolve this, disassemble the fan and clean it thoroughly. Apply lubricant to the motor shaft and bearings. Rotate the motor shaft by hand to check if it operates smoothly and without resistance. If it doesn't, the bearings need to be replaced soon. You can contact a reliable repair service for assistance, or if you're technically skilled, you may attempt to replace them yourself at home.

19. Fan Spinning Slowly, Weak Rotation
Cause: Prolonged use can result in dust accumulation on the fan blades, debris in the gaps, or lack of lubrication in various parts.
Solution: First, try spinning the fan blades by hand to check for any obstruction. If you encounter resistance, clean the screw shaft, inspect the bearings, and add lubricant or replace them if damaged. If the fan continues to spin slowly, use a multimeter to check the resistance in the plug and motor wires. If there's a significant difference, consider replacing the capacitor.
