1. Poem: THE RAIN COMES!
THE RAIN COMES!
Poem: Hoang Minh Tuan
After waiting for so long, finally, the rain arrives,
The streets joyfully welcome the water back,
Then it shifts, like awakening from a dream,
Refreshing the heat, temporarily forgetting the blazing summer!
The rain arrives, and the phoenix flowers bloom, filled with longing,
The crimson red shines brightly in the streets,
The cicadas hum, a lively tune in the afternoon,
The purple jacarandas, how lovely they are!
How beautiful the tamarind trees on the street,
The rain in the afternoon turns the leaves a lush green,
So that tomorrow, when the rain has passed,
It will shelter those under the summer sun!
But please, rain, only fall as much as needed,
Don't let the summer streets flood with too much,
So people won’t complain or ridicule,
Rain turning unpredictable, causing unrest!
Thank you, rain, for visiting the city today!
The city is no longer sad, returning to its lively state,
Hoping from now on, the rain will keep its promises,
Come back only when invited, when the city calls!

2. Poem: JUNE ARRIVES...
JUNE ARRIVES...
Poem: Hoang Minh Tuan
June arrives...
Now, the time to say goodbye knocks on the door,
Under the schoolyard, the crimson phoenix flowers intoxicate the air,
Pages of memories in the yearbook overflow,
The ink smudges, ... tears at the corners of the eyes!
June arrives...
The jacaranda flowers turn deep purple,
While our hearts tighten with sorrow,
Though we know it will happen, whether sooner or later,
The school year ends, and we part ways this June...!
June arrives...
Whose gentle smile it is,
That keeps my heart aching, waiting for her,
Her beautiful lips blush like a pink lotus,
I've fallen for her, my love ... I’ll wait forever...
June arrives...
I wonder if you long for me,
To meet again and find the space of love,
So the phoenix flowers can keep burning bright on the streets,
The jacaranda flowers fill the air with the scent of romance!
June arrives...
Another time of longing!

3. Poem: THE TREE AND THE RAIN'S CONFESSION
THE TREE AND THE RAIN'S CONFESSION
Poem: Hoang Minh Tuan
The tree eagerly awaits the summer rain,
And today, the rain has finally arrived,
After days of scorching heat,
The tree thirsts, drinking deeply, feeling the joy!
The tree is so happy that it calls the wind,
It bends its branches, swaying gently,
The sound of rushing, the rain's message,
Is this the rain the tree has longed for?
Listening to the rain, the tree feels lonely,
The rain has not come for a long time,
The tree has been thirsty, always waiting,
Where has the rain gone, forgetting this place?!
Rain, don’t be like this, don’t stay away,
Go ahead, but remember to return,
The summer heat burns the sky,
If the rain doesn't return, the tree will wither!
So that's it, the rain now understands,
It was just busy chasing after joy,
Sometimes it leaves and forgets everything,
Don’t blame it too much, the tree is sad!
...
That's the way rain is, always the same,
Coming and going, always playing around,
Why blame it, when the rain might stay,
The tree can’t chase it away!

4. Poem: JUNE, FOREVER LONGING
JUNE, FOREVER LONGING
Poem: Hoang Minh Tuan
In June, I return, hoping to meet you,
Despite the summer heat, it's like an oven,
The yearning for you in my heart, no one can understand,
It urges me to return to find the harbor of love!
Can you see, the phoenix flowers are burning red along the road,
Where we once walked to school together,
All the longing, all the love lost,
Old memories suddenly flood back!
Your house still has those rows of trees,
Providing shade on the hot afternoon,
The jacaranda trees are still at the end of the street,
The purple flowers are waiting to welcome me back!
Somewhere, the song of cicadas plays,
Reminding me of old passions,
Do you hear the words my heart whispers,
Come with me and light the flame of love!

5. Poem: THE STORY OF SUMMER LONGING FOR RAIN
THE STORY OF SUMMER LONGING FOR RAIN
Poem: Hoang Minh Tuan
The cicada asks the phoenix, feeling sad,
How many days have passed without rain,
Though the cicada cries, only the sun remains,
It keeps calling, but the rain doesn't come!
The phoenix smiles at the cicada,
Look at me, my red color fills the sky,
Summer's arrival brings joy to me,
But how can the red bloom without the rain?!
The jacaranda hears this and responds,
Its purple blooms long for the rain,
The color of loyalty, so soft,
If rain does not come, the purple will fade!
The wind carries whispers from the lower world,
To the heavens above,
The thunderbolt hears and rushes to report,
The clouds are lost in play on their journey!
The thunder strikes, ordering the wind,
To quickly bring the wandering clouds back,
The thunder rumbles, the skies roar,
And finally, after waiting, the rain arrives!
The cicada rejoices in song,
The phoenix enjoys the beauty of the flowers,
The jacaranda smiles, blooming happily,
The summer heat is gone, and tonight, it rains!

6. Poem: THE STREET LONGING FOR THE RAIN
THE STREET LONGING FOR THE RAIN
Poem: Hoang Minh Tuan
The street waits, longing for rain to arrive,
The air is so hot, yet the wind passes by without care,
The sun is relentless, its light fading away,
When will the rain finally return again...?
The cars pass by endlessly,
The street feels the dust, but who can it call out to?
The midday sun is scorching, people have all gone,
The heat is unbearable; does the sky even understand?!
Rain, oh rain, the cicadas are crying out,
Calling for the rain to cool down the street this evening,
The phoenix is also waiting, day and night,
With eyes red, crying out without end...!
The jacaranda is angry, its heart turning purple,
The rain has left, forgetting when to return...!
On the street now, only the long rows of trees remain,
Providing shade to the passersby!
Rain, hear the street's message:
The street has waited so long for you,
Don't just wander off, playing around,
Forgetting the promises the rain made!
Come back now, the street still loves you,
So the phoenix will bloom red once more,
And the jacaranda will fill with longing,
While the cicadas sing in celebration of the rain's return!

7. Poem: THE NOSTALGIA OF JUNE DAYS
NOSTALGIA OF THE JUNE DAYS
Poem: Hoang Minh Tuan
June arrives, and you come back to this place,
The old school still stands, unchanged,
The June sun seems to be burning with fire,
Yet the phoenix flowers remain passionately red!
Do you remember the day we said goodbye,
When clouds gathered to fill the little street,
Then the rain fell, pouring outside the door,
Wet eyes, and you blamed it on the sky's tears...
Holding your hand, my heart was lost,
I asked softly, will you wait for me?
You smiled and asked why, so strangely,
Now that I’m back, do you still remember me?!
The jacaranda flowers are still gently purple,
The longing for you grows stronger every night,
Do you hear it, a voice from the sky?
I am returning - my dear - with all my love!
Our love was woven by the evening sun,
Glistening, beautiful like the red phoenix,
And as faithful as the purple jacaranda’s memory,
Always filled with nostalgia on the evening I return!

8. Poem: THE SUMMER HEAT
THE SUMMER HEAT
Poem: Hoang Minh Tuan
Summer is still the same, with its vast sunlight,
And the red phoenix flowers filling every path,
The purple jacaranda gently holding on,
Summer remains passionate, endlessly enchanting!
Can you hear it? The cicadas singing day and night,
The summer song fills the empty streets,
The tamarind trees shine brightly in the sun,
Their tall canopies casting shade, waiting for summer’s return!
Summer brings so many memories from our youth,
Laughing with friends under the scorching sun,
Swimming in the cool river of our village,
The wild children shouting and playing together!
Sometimes the rain would suddenly come,
Our clothes drenched, yet we weren’t bothered,
We’d calmly herd the buffaloes back to the field,
Lighting a fire to dry our clothes!
...Years have passed, through countless suns and rains,
Yet summer always remains as fresh as ever,
Though the heat is burning, it’s filled with affection,
Passionate and longing, always wanting summer to return!

9. Poem: I HAVE LOVED!
I HAVE LOVED!
Poem: Hoang Minh Tuan
We parted ways - I thought you had forgotten,
You stayed silent, never calling me,
If you do that, I'll be really upset,
And I swore I’d also remain silent...
School days, so many secret emotions,
Graduated, thought I’d forget, but I still remember,
The joys and sorrows, the past pains,
They flood back into me and never leave!
You’re gone now, and no one’s here,
Like the times we shared in class,
The arguments you raised before,
I hated you so much... but who can replace you now?
We just said goodbye, yet the longing surprised me,
Always waiting, always hoping you’d come back,
The jacaranda flowers shimmered in purple,
Will the two of us ever meet again...?
The red phoenix flowers sigh ... dropping their petals... sorrowful,
The cicadas are melancholic ... not complaining,
The day we parted, you were drunk ... wanting to eat with me,
Now I’m the one intoxicated, where are you?
Come back here, I feel lost without you,
I have loved ... don’t say you didn’t know,
Each day, I miss you more deeply,
My heart races, following your steps!
Come back soon! Can you hear me whispering...?

10. Poem: THE CHAOTIC FRAGRANCE OF SUMMER LOVE
THE CHAOTIC FRAGRANCE OF SUMMER LOVE
Poem: Hoang Minh Tuan
I thought
summer would never leave,
So the sun blazed like fire,
Clouds arrived, bringing rain to the streets,
And I fell in love with the rain that cooled the air!
Who made the wind
leave without a word,
Leaving the rain to stop the red phoenix blooms this afternoon,
The sunset was surrounded by a purple sky,
Night called, inviting the warmth that lingered around!
Though I know
tomorrow the sun will return,
Let’s savor the fragrance of life and enjoy tonight,
Where are the clouds? The sky is filled with so many,
Where are you? I can’t seem to find the intoxication anymore!
You missed the appointment,
and now I owe you,
We’ll meet again tomorrow to return the love,
The sun scorched the road, while jacaranda flowers bloomed in purple,
Calling for the rain to scatter in every direction!
The streets call for sunshine
when the town needs warmth,
And seek rain when the sun’s heat becomes too overwhelming,
I love you like the burning summer heat,
Thirsty for your affection, I keep waiting and longing!

11. Poem: THE NOSTALGIA OF THE CLUB REUNION DAY
NOSTALGIA OF THE CLUB REUNION
Poem: Hoang Minh Tuan
We return to the LOTUS CLUB,
Looking for familiar faces we’ve never met,
Yet the poetry echoes far and wide,
Filling life with an abundance of love.
Despite the scorching June sun,
We’re not deterred by distance or the road’s length,
We come here only to meet,
To share heartfelt conversations about poetry.
I remember the early days of our club,
A small group facing many challenges,
Not only writing poems but managing too,
Wondering how to increase the members.
So much went unrecorded in name,
Yet tirelessly, day and night, we worked on,
Firm in our belief and determined in spirit,
And now we see the peace in our hearts.
Fifteen hundred members, do you know?
Endless topics for each week and month,
Poetry flows endlessly, never running dry,
What was once a dream now feels like we’ve known each other for ages.
We come bearing smiles,
Celebrating a year full of triumphs,
Wishing everyone eternal youth in their love for poetry,
Lotus Club, you are truly wonderful!
Now, let’s raise a toast,
To a year ahead filled with new joys!

12. Poem: I GIVE YOU EVERYTHING
I GIVE YOU EVERYTHING
Poem: Hoang Minh Tuan
The moon of the past was overshadowed by storms,
The clouds covered everything... yet I still hoped... the light would return!
In our youth, we loved with all our hearts,
Through the years, you slipped further away from me.
How deep was our love,
One stormy afternoon... it faded away... in the passing years!
From now on, I stand alone,
You moved on to another, leaving me behind!
We once vowed,
To be loyal forever, to share all joys and sorrows,
But now, even as the sun shines,
Who made it cold... with anger... and longing...
You’ve left, crossing over to another shore,
Each step taking you farther from me, dear,
The love and memories are gone,
And now we remain forever apart.
The betel leaves change their taste,
The love and longing are gone, leaving only sorrow.
From now on, “you” and “I” will part ways,
As we go our separate paths, my love!
Returning to you all the love once shared,
Returning to you the moon of life we once knew,
Returning to you the heartache that lingered,
Returning to you everything... as we walk away on different roads!

13. Poem: THE ROAD TO THE HEART
THE ROAD TO THE HEART
Poem: Hoang Minh Tuan
The road to the heart
Has never been an easy path,
It’s full of falls, yet still, the hope remains,
That one day… that person will wait for me,
That one day… we will become husband and wife!
The road to the heart
Holds countless obstacles,
That person smiles… thinking they’ve fallen for me,
But when we meet again,
They pass by, unaware, as if strangers!
The road to the heart
Sometimes seems to have reached its end,
Thinking the longing has finally run dry,
Then suddenly, someone opens their heart,
The winds change… and the love reignites!
The road to the heart
Is filled with pain and struggles,
“I agree, but my parents don’t approve,
I still love you, but they say no,”
Do I still love you, or am I hesitant?
The road to the heart
Has countless ways to follow,
If it doesn’t work out, let’s not blame one another,
Let love remain pure and vibrant forever,
It requires sincerity and consistency throughout!
The road to the heart
Isn’t meant for the faint of heart,
If you want to love, it must be passionate and intense,
When the chance arises, take it right away,
Don’t be indifferent, or you’ll regret it later!
The road to the heart
Is filled with things we do not yet know!

14. Poem: COME BACK, MY DEAR
COME BACK, MY DEAR
Poem: Hoang Minh Tuan
Come back, my dear! The forecast warns of heavy rain,
Come back, my dear! For that person is waiting again,
Come back, my dear! Stay by your husband's side,
Come back, my dear! Don’t look for anything else!
Our love has always been fraught with struggles,
Has there ever been peace, my dear?
Have you ever wondered why,
Our love seems to be fading away?
Was it the scorching summer days,
That burned away the longings of the past?
Or was it that rainy summer, too much to bear,
That swept our love into the past?
Or maybe it’s because we’ve loved for too many years,
And you’ve grown tired, yet you won’t admit it?
Or perhaps it’s because you’ve stopped longing and hoping,
And turned your back to follow a different path?
You left behind all the dreams we shared,
Chased after wealth, forgetting the love we once had,
Our love was torn apart by that choice,
Leaving behind a broken destiny after that summer!
Come back, I’m telling you, come back,
Come back to your husband and find love once more,
I’ve gone, walking a path of my own,
But you’re no longer by my side.
Come back, my dear! Or your husband will suffer!
Come back, my dear! There won’t be another chance,
Come back, my dear! Our love is no more,
Come back, my dear! Why linger in sadness?
Come back, my dear! Come back to that home!

15. Poem
HEARTFELT...
Poem: Hoang Minh Tuan
The year I joined the army, I had no idea,
That you were waiting, longing for me, dear,
I walked away, step by step, farther from you,
Year after year, the past grew blurry and distant.
Then I married and took my wife home to visit,
When we met, you greeted me with a soft reply,
You asked with a small voice, 'Who are you with now?'
With a forced smile, my ears turned red,
'Once, I had someone I loved so much,
But they went off to the distant battlefield,
When they returned, we parted ways...'
I frowned, thinking deeply,
Then quietly whispered, 'Life is never as we dream,
Doesn't anyone wait anymore, like you did for me?'
You smiled faintly, not saying more,
Your eyes filled with sadness, a longing sorrow,
The story seemed ordinary, even normal,
Until a soldier friend asked me:
'How long have you been back,
Is that village girl your wife now?
Here’s her letter, she wrote it so sweet,
You left that day and never returned,
We read it and were moved,
Turns out, she’s been waiting for you all this time!'
Upon hearing this, I froze in shock,
She’s been waiting for me... but I never knew!
It wasn’t just the letter,
Or the war that kept our hearts apart,
Sometimes, all it takes is a little attention,
And things wouldn’t have turned out this way...
The next time I returned home,
I shared this story with her, clearly and honestly,
With tears in my eyes, she understood,
Now she truly knows my heart...

16. Poem: A WILD DREAM!
A WILD DREAM!
Poem: Hoang Minh Tuan
Who are you, could you be a beauty?
And I, surely not a noble gentleman,
When I met you, I was struck by love and longing,
I called your name, and thus began A WILD DREAM!
Summer brought such passionate rapture,
With desires burning deep within my chest,
Thinking of you, my heart would flutter,
Even though it was all just distant memories!
A WILD DREAM, your smile like a full moon,
Yet I hesitated, filled with jealousy and doubt,
Your eyes gazed deeply into mine,
Captivating me, never to be forgotten!
Since that day, I’ve constantly thought of you,
Countless dreams where 'you return to me',
But were they illusions, or do I still remember,
Forever dreaming of the figure in A WILD DREAM?
If only I could go back to those days,
To find that summer in the scorching sun,
To remember the times the phoenix flowers bloomed,
To recall the moment I met A WILD DREAM!
You were pure, gentle, and serene,
Your skin glowed as bright as the full moon,
You brought a radiance to the air,
While flowers bowed and the sun stood still!
...
Such love can never be so passionately felt,
A dream of love still fills my happiness,
As years pass, I never forget,
That in my life, there’s still A WILD DREAM!

17. Poem: JUNE, I’M COMING HOME
JUNE, I’M COMING HOME
Poem: Hoang Minh Tuan
When June arrives, I recall the past,
The memories of my childhood so vast...
Purple flowers and red phoenix blooms,
The green tamarind trees resting at noon!
In June, we chased butterflies and caught grasshoppers,
Played until we tired, then bathed in the cool water,
The river's water was full of life, so rich,
We longed to return, to experience it again!
How many times has June come and gone,
How many times the red flowers waited and hoped,
How many times the purple flowers remained loyal,
How many times the cicadas cried, waiting for a reply!
The longing for home was carved into my heart,
How many promises I made but could not keep,
This June, I don’t need to wait for an invitation,
I’ll return, seeking the dreams of my childhood!
Are the faded memories still around?
Do the butterflies still flutter, do the cicadas sing?
Is the river still rushing with its waves,
Can I still bathe in its refreshing waters?
Is the way back home still lined with red phoenix flowers,
Does the old garden still remember the purple flowers...?
Oh, June, there are so many things I ponder,
But this time, I’ll come back without delay!

18. Poem: A PROPOSAL AFTER THE RAIN
A PROPOSAL AFTER THE RAIN
Poem: Hoang Minh Tuan
This afternoon, the rain falls upon the street,
The scorching heat has faded away,
The earth and sky are drunk with memories,
The red phoenix flowers bloom with passion!
The old street where I walk home,
The purple flowers stand there, waiting patiently,
The rain brings the buds to life,
These blooms, so loyal and true!
The cicadas tonight sing with longing,
Perhaps they know the joy of the city,
The rain came with its burning heat,
But now the streets are bright and cheerful!
The gentle couples walking hand in hand,
Guiding each other through the park,
Their eyes seem to invite the moment,
A kiss so deep and tender!
Looking up at the starry sky tonight,
The words of proposal... I send to you,
Whispering... your soft reply,
Hold me tight... let’s go now...

19. Poem: JUNE, WISHING FOR RAIN
JUNE, LONGING FOR RAIN
Poem by: Hoang Minh Tuan
The sun beats down relentlessly, too much to bear,
When will the suffocating heat of June finally end?
Day after day, the sun burns a crimson red,
Now, I long endlessly for a refreshing rain!
The clouds are angry, hiding far out of sight,
The phoenix flowers keep their red eyes fixed in longing,
The cicadas weep, their hearts heavy with pain,
The purple flowers are sorrowfully withering away...
The tamarind trees cast shadows on the sidewalk,
Offering a moment of coolness on a June afternoon,
Does the rain understand the ache in my soul,
Yearning, always yearning for a cool shower!
Tonight, distant thunder rumbles in the far horizon,
But why hasn't the rain passed through the streets yet?
We long for the rain like summer waits for the phoenix to bloom,
So please, no more sun, let summer rest now!
