1. Poem: Memories of July - Hoang Minh Tuan
Memories of July
Poem: Hoang Minh Tuan
Oh July, why is the sky so sultry?
The clouds refuse to return, leaving the rain absent.
At this hour, are you asleep yet?
Or are you awake, like the old days waiting for me?
I keep remembering you, every evening,
Remembering that day in July when we had to part.
The last summer's flame of the phoenix flowers carries the intoxication,
Yet I awkwardly failed to hand them to you.
I thought perhaps you were angry with me,
So I searched and tried to explain, my dear.
Then tears welled up when I saw you smile,
“I knew all along, oh you silly boy!”
Those words made my heart flutter,
And have followed me through the years.
Now, in this July, I am still far away,
Missing my hometown, missing you so much.
My dearest, this evening feels so empty,
My heart longs for a refreshing rain.
To send my thoughts to you and satisfy the wait,
To forget the suffocating heat of July.
Our love still burns like the fiery red of the phoenix,
And the yearning continues, full of passion.
I will return, though not this very day,
To forever cherish our love in July!

2. Poem: Rainy Afternoon in July - Thanh Trang
Rainy Afternoon in July
Author: Thanh Trang
The sunlight quickly switches to a darkened veil,
Summoning the wind to chase away the rays.
The old house stands quietly, alone,
Its bare walls exposed under a silent sky, void of birds.
Summer lingers, yet hastily walks away,
Autumn swiftly takes its place, settling down.
A sudden thunderclap shakes the air,
Then comes the rain, pouring in a torrential burst.
This July, who will come to meet us?
Who will cry to match the coming of July?
The rain of the monsoon falls, and my heart burns,
Endless drops persist, one after another.
Who is the rain angry with, as it sounds like a complaint?
The sound lingers, like the tale of the Cowherd and Weaver Girl,
The Milky Way rushes to flood the heart with passion,
The Bridge of Magpies buzzes with excitement, connecting fates.
July arrives, and it refuses to rest peacefully...

3. Poem: July - Phan Thu Ha
July
Author: Phan Thu Ha
July arrives, spreading its warm sunlight,
Calling the rain to cascade through the clouds.
The grass stirs gently, making a soft sound,
Waiting for the green season and fresh new buds.
My heart aches for the little sparrow,
Huddled under the eaves, longing for the sun.
Fingers trembling over the piano keys,
The music interrupted by the sound of falling rain.
Fairy tales truly do exist,
Here are the tears of the monsoon rain.
I wish to be the Bridge of Magpies,
To rekindle the love that binds us.
The evening sky tilts into deep purple hues,
Could it be that someone is still waiting, hoping?
The soft moonlight, pure and bright,
Gently brushes through the fragrant hair.
Dreaming of a distant, forgotten time,
A sweet red dream that soothes the heart at night.
Oh, look! The kiss of July,
Still carries the faint scent of lotus flowers.

5. Poem: July Returns - Huynh Thanh Thao
July Returns
Author: Huynh Thanh Thao
July arrives, with the sea roaring from afar,
The waves crash, shaking the sky and the earth.
Eyes search for the friendly seagull,
Sending prayers for peace to those on the shore.
July returns, tearing at the heart,
The stormy days bring tears, the news unsettling.
The coldness in the air, yet the heart burns with heat,
Waiting for good news, sleepless through the night.
July returns, bringing loss and wisdom,
Teaching us to cherish the calm of today.
We learn that nothing lasts forever,
Life is fleeting, full of struggles and pain.

6. Poem: Waiting for You in July - Ho Viet Binh
Waiting for You in July
Author: Ho Viet Binh
I still wait for you in July, the season of the showers,
Come back, let's meet, and I’ll finally speak.
Last year, I left in haste,
And never got to say the words of love.
For all these years, I’ve lived on a distant island,
At night, gazing at the sky, I see the Ox waiting,
A small flock of birds brings the Cowherd's message,
And the tears of the Weaving Maiden fall again.
I silently call out to the little birds,
Build me a bridge across the sea,
Bring me back to you, on a calm July afternoon.
I’ve returned, but where are you rushing off to?
We can only meet during the rainy season,
Come back, no matter where you are,
We’ll get past these lonely days,
And I’ll whisper the words of love you longed to hear.

7. Poem: My Hanoi - Do Huong
My Hanoi
Author: Do Huong
Hanoi this season feels like a lonely leaf,
The rain drifts as though someone’s sulking.
The banyan leaves fall in a hurry,
While the sun, indifferent, doesn’t hear the wind's whispers.
This season in Hanoi, there are no more dreams,
Do the ice creams at Trang Tien still taste the same?
Who sits by the window, lost in thought,
Gazing at the city, fading under the rain...
Hanoi this season, the Red Flamboyant stands lost,
The Hoan Kiem Lake reflects its own image, tangled in its hair.
Ngoc Son Temple, covered in moss, wraps around its ancient pearl.
I wish the sun would rise like embroidered silk, like the delicate art of weaving!
As July arrives, a soft breeze sways,
Bringing back a time of golden youth,
The old banyan tree spreads its roots under the sunlight,
The shimmering waves dream of you sitting there...
The love story of the ancient tower rises again,
Moss turns into tears from the past,
Occasionally, the waves rise as if the sea itself is stirring,
Then, it calms, holding onto the stillness of twenty-year-old memories.
From the east, the sun shines with dazzling laughter,
Planting seeds of passion in our hearts.
Is it true that love, no matter how far it goes,
Returns on the wings of a dream?
We keep nurturing the poetic dreams,
The ancient tales take root deep in the earth,
The banyan tree has stood for thousands of years—
Time cannot rush it. Can your hair testify, my dear?
Hanoi in the afternoon is filled with sweet breezes,
The willow trees think they are young maidens,
Gracefully swaying, they borrow the clouds to welcome the winds,
Once again, they borrow the famous calligraphy of the past.
My Hanoi, so familiar, so irreplaceable!

8. Poem: July Rain - Doan Kim Oanh
July Rain
Author: Doan Kim Oanh
Once again, I write a poem for July,
Sending it to you on a lonely Sunday.
Hanoi's rain continues to fall,
The streets flooded with people heading out.
Hanoi, in every breath of mine,
The rain carries the scent of milk flowers at night.
Someone waits at the doorstep,
The rain fills my path, late as usual.
So busy, yet I long for a day off,
But the rain falls and I don’t know where to go.
The rain continues, and I quietly wish
That the rain would stop, and the footsteps on the street would clear.
And I know, after all, there’s so much love and longing.
The rainbow will appear, seven colors shining after the rain.

9. Poem: July Feelings - Do Thi Phuong Lan
July Feelings
Author: Do Thi Phuong Lan
July has come, my dear,
The sky no longer blue, turning a gloomy gray,
As the sad monsoon rains arrive,
Making Hanoi's empty streets feel even more lonely.
July arrives, and the streets are quiet,
The children no longer gather,
Heading off to school, making the streets quieter,
The cicadas too, stop their song, hiding from the rain.
July arrives, and I feel a bit lost,
I miss you, and the rain deepens my sorrow.
On rainy days, someone waits by the road,
Waiting for someone in the endless fall of rain.
July has come, and soon it will pass,
My sadness turns into falling rain.
Come back, don't make me wait too long,
July will end, and I hope we can greet autumn together.

10. July - Nga Vũ
July
Poem by Nga Vũ
July returns on a gentle breeze
Could it be that once we promised such a thing?
What does July hold that the sky whispers it so
Soaked through the season, July once again brings pain
What do we hold onto in these fleeting moments
Why do the shadows of leaves only whisper in haste
Only frowning when hearts are uneasy
Calling out to the one who’s forgotten, a distant memory
July arrives, and we feel it fading
Old memories - the familiar street corner
The leaf not yet yellow, yet pain takes hold
Every gust of wind sways restlessly, like memories adrift
July returns, bringing memories... and a wandering heart.

11. Autumn Rain - Hương Giang
Autumn Rain
Poem by Hương Giang
It feels as though the sky is angry at someone
The rain falls like endless tears
The thunder rumbles, lightning cracks, clouds swirl
Yet autumn has still arrived early today.
And so autumn remembers the weeping maiden
Oh, the Weaver has long abandoned the bridge
The banks of the river ache with separation
The Cowherd and the Weaver, their tears full of sorrow.
Autumn has come, but who truly knows
The pain that quietly tears at a fragile heart
The distant echoes of a lonely tune
The wind howls, bidding the leaves farewell.
Oh, how many autumns have faded away
The familiar path now hidden beneath the grass
The trees have shed their leaves with each passing season
But do you know, who holds the memory of whom?

12. Nostalgic Rainy Afternoon - Memories of the Past
Nostalgic Rainy Afternoon
Poetry from Memories of the Past
In July, the soft sunlight falls gently
Thin shoulders on the street, so frail
Someone weaves the leaves of the afternoon into a carpet of longing
As rain softly strikes... Echoing the sounds of a distant past
Will you return and hear the whispering winds?
The velvet hues... Faded strands of tangled hair
No longer waiting for rainy days to reunite
The bridge was missed
The swallow has flown across the river
July arrives, a time of growing memories
The mist drifts like a veil over the shadowed sky
The sound of a distant string, a sad tune plays
As if pouting, as if longing for someone
In July, the rain dampens the fragile moon
The Ô Thước Bridge is broken, its steps left incomplete
The rain falls like tears... A longing heart waits in vain
Which path now leads you far from me?

13. July Returns - Lan Vuong
July Returns
Poetry by Lan Vuong
July is here, do you still remember, my love?
The last bloom of the phoenix flower sways, restless
In a world of ups and downs, we are left to fate's regrets
Unaware that the unfinished path carries our silent sorrow
July returns, the betel nut is wrapped again
The red lips fade, memories weathered with time
The tale of the Cowherd and Weaver Girl, lost long ago
Secretly aching, hiding the love from days gone by
July arrives, how much longing can one bear?
Heavy-hearted, the first rain falls, confusing the soul
You reach out, trying to hold onto youthful folly
To part ways, yet the pain of dry tears lingers
You left, my heart now a stone
In the empty chest, a feeling of vast loneliness
What was joined is now undone, like life itself
Bittersweet, with an aching heart and a sorrowful pain
Let’s return to the past, but without each other
The sea still rolls, stirring up memories of longing
Sitting, piecing together the broken fragments of a once shared love
Though we are far apart, it feels as though it was just yesterday.

14. The Heart of July - Minh Triet
The Heart of July
Poetry by Minh Triet
In July, the last rains of summer fall
The queen of flowers weeps, petals drifting down
The old school, the people from the past, now faded
All that remains is the lingering ache of memory
We meet again, as though for the first time
Thirty-six years adrift, alone in the world
Life floats like the water hyacinth, aimlessly drifting
And yet, my life remains solitary
On the day you married, you whispered soft words
A girl's life cannot last forever
Your future, an open horizon before you
But where was I, still waiting for you?
Though I knew you were leaving - love left unfinished
Deep in my heart, the pain gnaws at me
Vu Lan in July, the rain falls endlessly
I wait for the bridge of Ô Thước to reunite us once more.

15. Remembering Beloved Hue - Nghi Lam
Remembering Beloved Hue
Poetry by Nghi Lam
When I return to dreamy Hue
I long to visit Mount Ngự by the Huong River
Walk through Vỹ Dạ village, admiring orchids
And listen to Hue's folk songs at Tràng Tiền bridge
Vân Lâu, where lovers' fates are tied
Phú Bài, Phú Hội, where my love for you grows
At Đông Ba, let’s see
The many regional delicacies waiting for us
The Imperial City casts its shadow over the trees
Ngọ Môn stands solemn, remembering the coronation day
The sacred land of the Nguyen Lords, Phú Xuân, renowned
The glory of past eras still echoes in this land
Thien Mu Pagoda, its incense never ceases
Quốc Học, Đồng Khánh, who hasn’t passed through its halls?
Hương Thủy, forever echoing songs of the past
And when you visit, don’t forget to bring me a gift from Hue
And I will always remember Hue with love:
THE BEAUTIFUL MAIDENS .. SAILING THE BOATS IN THE NIGHT!

16. The Rainy Love Song - Nguyễn Hồng Linh
The Rainy Love Song
Poetry by Nguyễn Hồng Linh
July brings the heavy rains
The Cowherd and the Weaver Girl
When will they meet again?
Far from home, you wait
The Bridge of the Milky Way stretches across
And you step forward
Love unfulfilled
Weeping, mourning
Waiting for your return
Like a bird of winter
I wait late into the night
Tired and longing
The song of love so intense
Passionate and deep
The night sighs in sorrow
The lonely stars above
Dreams of earthly woes
Grief of the world
For a thousand years, the cold moon
Reflects the shadow of the distant one
Only we, alone!
The sky cries through the night
Sorrow piercing every drop
Where is my beloved?
The moon hums in sorrow
A melody of longing
A love that lasts for eternity
July rains fall
The Bridge of the Milky Way remains
So far away...

17. The Milky Way Bridge - Nguyễn Thị Hồng Hạnh
The Milky Way Bridge
Poetry by Nguyễn Thị Hồng Hạnh
Cross the Milky Way Bridge, my love,
So we can be together, at peace with one another.
Even as the sky pours with the annual rain,
The Milky Way will still be our bridge of love.
We know love's path is filled with struggles,
We meet only for a few days each year.
We know love can be bitter and painful,
But even after a thousand days, we remain deeply in love.
The rainy season comes and goes,
But the Milky Way Bridge still keeps hope in my heart.
My love, I will wait for you,
When you cross the Milky Way Bridge, we will be united.
Though the rainy season may bring sorrow,
The Milky Way Bridge still connects us with love.
The bond we share as husband and wife,
Is eternal, like the sky and earth, faithful forever.

18. Poem: July Rendezvous - Phạm Hồng Giang
July Rendezvous
By Phạm Hồng Giang
This July, let’s make a promise, my love,
To fill our longing hearts with each other’s memories.
Love me, my dear, before the rains take us apart,
Before the Milky Way’s river misses its bridge.
This July, the milk flowers have yet to bloom,
And my words remain unfinished, unable to promise.
Like the Cowherd and Weaver Girl, we stand apart,
Impatient for our love to reunite at the river’s edge.
This July, the sun fades, dreams seem distant,
Evenings heavy with rain, on the narrow path.
Do you hear the whispers in the wind,
Words of love waiting for someone to return?
This July, the weather keeps us longing,
The old café still waits for me, like it always did.
Along the path, the late-blooming purple flowers hang low,
As the afternoon wilts, burdened by the yearning rain.
This July, where are you now?
The promises we made, faded and distant,
In the quiet shadows of longing.

19. Poem: July and You - Bùi Thế Uyên
July and You
Poem: Tony Bui
Don't be sad, July is passing by too fast
The time keeps moving, no one waits anymore
We are indifferent, lost in our own choices
Turning back, we realize we've lost something.
Days go by, the sun fades away
You stop loving, so there's no more anger
But my heart remains waiting for you
What's different? Waiting in a place without you.
No one wants to be lonely
But July is coming, and the rain is on its way
And I know that while you're not yet ready
The sadness I carry will arrive before the rain.
Then one day, we will remember last July
You must remember that we always planned to meet
And I'll always wait for you to come
To fulfill the wishes we've carried for so long...
Warsaw

20. Poem: Touching July - Nguyễn Lan Hương
Touching July
Author: Nguyễn Lan Hương
Unknowingly, I touch July so gently
The sun's jealous rays roll across the dry alley
Suddenly the sky pours raindrops
The rain rises, filling the last day of summer with a quiet stir.
Touching July, the rainbow looks strangely close
When did it bridge the rhythm of your heart?
The scent of lotus lulls the wind into a quiet sleep
As the moonflower shyly waits for the moon to rise and gently sway.
Touching July, I think of my poor mother
The village fields dry and wet in a sudden change of rain
My father returns at night, tripping over the fence
His feet bleeding, covered in the smell of muddy soil.
Touching July, I realize how foolish I am
Wasting love like the fleeting marriage of Ngau's couple
Your eyes are sad, as the shadows drift away
I suddenly understand all the unsaid things.
Touching July, my heart suddenly feels uneasy
My hand reaches out, but I quickly pull it back.
