1. Poem: Lullaby for My Child - Phan Thu Hà
Lullaby for My Child
By Phan Thu Hà
The long night softly sings a lullaby
"À ơi, sleep now... autumn's night watch has come"
Watching my child sleep in my gentle arms
Wrapped in the scent of autumn grains, the wind blows gently.
Sleep well, my child, rest peacefully
The wars and separations have passed
Mother sings the cradle song
The lullaby quietly calls for the golden grains to grow.
Sleep, my child, sleep soundly
The fragrant fields of rice stretch far with the flying storks
The river reflects the shadow of our boat
Gently listening to the sweet folk songs of our homeland.
Quietly gathering all my love
Saving up a peaceful dream for you
Rocking you into a deep, content sleep
The kite lifts your steps toward life ahead.
When you grow up, becoming a wise person
I wish you will carry my lullaby's message throughout your journey.

2. Poem: Lullaby Song - Lê Hương
Lullaby Song
Poem: Lê Hương
Evening brings the sun to your side
I gather my longing and turn it into a lullaby
À ơi... The autumn winds sway
Thirsting for the breeze to carry my love to you.
I lull you, then lull myself
Searching in my memories for our shared images
Where are you now, as autumn comes near?
While the areca tree wilts and the betel vine fades in the mist.
You return, singing of love once more
"Châu returns to the market" amidst the fluttering leaves
You return, singing of passion once again
Shortening the nights and the days we’re apart.
What harm is there in being a little foolish...?
So I sway in longing... The first time I sing a lullaby...

3. Poem: A Simple Wish - Hồng Ngoãn
A Simple Wish
Poem by Hồng Ngoãn
It's late now, please stop crying
Let me boil some water to make you noodles to eat
We don't have much, just rice and a worn-out shirt
Missing a father, and without a mother, life is hard for you, dear one.
If only... just wishful thinking
I'm not brave enough to wish for a grand life
Oh, how embarrassing
Waking up in the morning, still beneath a bridge!
Where is my father, where is my mother?
Why must a child wander through the world like this
Sometimes full, sometimes hungry, day by day
Ignoring the storms that threaten a poor fate...
Tears shine in my clear eyes
My fragile life drifts like a leaf in the wind
Outside, the cold dew and wind pierce through
Only those who have suffered can truly understand my heart.
Shhh... sleep, I'll watch over you
Tonight, dream of a rosy future, my dear...!
Ah...ah.....ah ......oh
Ah ...ah....ah ......oh....!

4. Poem: A Father's Lullaby of Sorrow - Hồ Viết Bình
A Father's Lullaby of Sorrow
Poem by Hồ Viết Bình
Shhh... sleep well, my dear
So I can take care of the household chores
Mother has gone far away
Now, you are all alone, and I am left in solitude.
Outside, the garden withers and fades
In the pigsty, the sow refuses to eat the vegetables.
Shhh... sleep quickly now
Don't cry, my dear, don't make your father worry.
On the melon vine, no flowers bloom
The chickens call out, lost and alone
Oh, how the cries of a child pierce the heart
Longing for a mother's milk, yearning for her kiss.
Shhh... sleep soundly, my dear
For I must play both mother and father in your dreams
Sleep deeply, while I silently sob
Since the day mother left, I have lacked love and warmth.
Rocking you to sleep, I sing a lullaby
You, too, will sing to me with your breath full of love.
Beside you, I dream a little dream
Faintly, I see her figure nearby
Ah...ah...ah...ah...oh...
Oh...oh...oh...oh...a...a...

5. Bài thơ: Ru xa - Hoàng Như Phượng
Ru xa…

6. Poem: Lullaby by West Lake - Lâm Bình
Lullaby by West Lake
Poem by Lâm Bình
Shhh... a song by the lake
Shhh... the evening sun tilts towards you
Shhh... the hammock gently rocks
Shhh... let me push it just a little farther.
Lull you into a sweet dream
As the evening sun caresses your rosy cheeks
Lull you into a slumber near me
With the sky and earth, your smile dances in the dream.
Lull you with the rhythm of the hammock
Lost in the poetry of the West Lake shore
How many seasons have passed here
As the evening sunlight fades, love lingers, passionate and deep.
Lull you into a dream of roses
Where flowers bloom all year long, a gift from me to you.

7. Poem: Self-Lullaby - Phan Huy Hùng
Self-Lullaby
Poem: Phan Huy Hùng
Lull yourself to sleep, my dear
The rice ripens, the corn holds a child near
What use is makeup and painted lips
The fragrance of the countryside enchants the heart...
The lullaby sounds so sorrowful
Do you know the fields of our ancestors are gone
The villagers drift like floating weeds
Some head north, others roam the city streets.
Riding, washing dishes, sweeping the streets
Burdened with the weight of misfortune each day
At night, sleep never comes easily
Singing a lonely tune while toiling away...
The lullaby lingers in dreams
Like a maiden waiting for her wedding day
Where are the vast rice fields now?
The moon rises, lifting the whole field into the sky.
Who will call you my dear now
I will lull myself to sleep and forget the pains!
——

8. Poem: A Mother's Lullaby - Nguyễn Đình Cường
A Mother's Lullaby
Poem: Nguyễn Đình Cường
The river flows silently, drifting by
The riverbed clutches my brother, who will never return
War’s shadow looms, life and death at the edge
Yet the steadfast vow remains etched in time.
Day after day, waiting, worn with longing
Mother’s tears never dry—they will never run out
Thạch Hãn, I owe you more than words
The waves stir, the music of the river plays, a lullaby for my brother!
The lullaby lingers in dreams, fresh and green
The herons and storks, mother’s lullaby floats
Knowing that time will move on
Mother returns, bringing the lullaby with her—wait for me, child!

9. Poem: Lullaby - Phạm Quang Thu
Lullaby
Poem: Phạm Quang Thu
The wind whispers through the bamboo tree
Lullabying the afternoon into autumn's embrace
Sleep, my dear, rest your weary eyes
Night brings dreams, as dawn awakens the sky.
Sleep, my dear, under the golden sunlight
The breeze carries flowers, their shadows dance on the lawn
Sleep, my dear, in love’s sweet caress
I sing to you with verses filled with tenderness.
Sleep, my dear, as the evening light fades
I sing for you, my love, a lullaby full of devotion
The red noon sun stirs the morning glories
As I sing to you, remembering days of old.
Life has weathered storms and struggles
Yet we continue, day by day, through the toil
Your brow glistens with the sweat of work
Your dark brown eyes drift into a peaceful slumber.
I hold you close in my warm embrace
So I may fulfill all my dreams, the long journey ahead
I sing you a lullaby, gently swaying
The hammock rocks as we await the cool evening breeze.

10. Poem: What Lullaby Do You Sing? - Đào Mạnh Thạnh
What Lullaby Do You Sing?
Poem: Đào Mạnh Thạnh
What lullaby do you sing?
In the deep silence of the long night
With a longing heart that softly calls out to forgotten sorrows
The night lingers, embracing the fading remnants of dreams
The past holds tight, immersed in painful memories.
What lullaby do you sing?
The lonely night, broken and scattered
The soul adrift from days long past
A faint moon sways by the window
The breeze whispers, bringing unspoken desires.
What lullaby do you sing?
Soft whispers, full of yearning
To keep hidden the sorrow that tears at the heart
The soft lips thirsting for a love unfulfilled
The warmth of an embrace that only deepens the chill inside.
What lullaby do you sing?
A soul, broken and torn
Amid the night, erasing the last traces of sadness
The lonely night drifts on, searching for what cannot be found
In the long hours, the heart continues its restless longing.
In the cold, I hear the quiet calls of insects
The thin blanket provides little comfort against the bitter wind
How I wish for a moment of peace, the warmth of an embrace
What lullaby do you sing, oh dreams that still flutter restlessly...

11. Deep Affection - Cúc Họa Mi
Deep Affection
Poem: Cúc Họa Mi
The lullaby
has faded over a lifetime
Yet it remains soft, just like when
I lay in my cradle, comforted by sleep.
Mother filled
with winds and storms
that overflowed into the rice fields,
blooming with the fragrance of young grains.
She raised me
from moments of anger and tears
from innocence
to the wisdom of maturity.
From her milk,
weighed down with human kindness
the waves of life that she endured
as she worked tirelessly for her child.
Even when
I’ve grown strong and steady
even when I have made a name for myself,
even when the buds of youth have aged.
The lullaby she sang
still resounds with warmth
The affection of a mother
.... timeless and profound.
The wind carries a faint sound on the full moon night
I sit and remember my mother
.... tears falling from my sorrowful eyes!

12. Mother's Lullaby - Nguyễn Thị Hồng Hạnh
Mother's Lullaby
Poem by Nguyễn Thị Hồng Hạnh
Ah, the lullaby from mother’s lips
I have carried it with me since childhood.
Her lullaby guided me along
from my childhood days to when I became an adult.
Ah, when my hair was still young
the struggles of life were always hers to bear.
She gave me a wide path ahead,
where I could step with confidence on solid ground.
Ah, in those humble village days
life was filled with so many burdens and concerns.
I wished for peace in our village
and for everyone to unite in happiness and joy.
Ah, dreams sweet and bitter
sharing the hardships and easing the pain.
The love we exchanged was strong
like bitter ginger and salty herbs, unwavering through time.
Ah, I will always remember
the lullaby that helped me grow strong.
Though life changes and challenges persist,
her lullaby remains with me, forever by my side.

13. His Lullaby - Trần Tuyết Tuyết
His Lullaby
Poem: Trần Tuyết Tuyết
It feels so overwhelming, yet love is truly beautiful,
The blood in my heart now flows deeply red.
Your love arrived, sweet and effortless,
Crossing distances, leaving only green memories.
How sorrowful it is when love rushes too fast,
The waves of time reflect the gaze of moments.
A gentle breeze takes us into longing,
When I met you – I was so surprised.
Love arrived, lulling me to sleep,
Your words whispered... though somewhat belated.
A melody of affection to calm wandering steps,
I paused, waiting for your love to arrive, just in time!

14. Lullaby - Chu Long
Lullaby
Poem by Chu Long
The lullaby lulls the baby to sleep, rocking softly
Calling back a time of sweet, dreamy love
Wandering, my heart becomes restless
The soul drifts, lost in the lullaby's words
A sky bathed in the golden light of autumn's moon
While in the wind's whispers, the lullaby carries sadness
The lullaby of summer stirs with unease
Spring brings a piercing, sorrowful chill to the heart of grass and trees.
The lullaby sung tonight
Carrying all the longing and memories of tangled dreams
The lullaby heavy with words of love
Echoing back to a distant, painful past
The lullaby seems to tell me
The story of two lovers from long ago
The lullaby sung to me brings pain
Filling my body, heart, and soul with deep sorrow.
Does the one who sings the lullaby know?
I listen, and my heart aches, oh lullaby!

15. Before the Sea of Lullabies - Trần Nguyên Soái
Before the Sea of Lullabies
Poem by Trần Nguyên Soái
The sea lulls the child with its restless waves
The mother lulls the child with a song for the future
The sea lulls with waves stretching far
The mother lulls the child with folk songs
The lullaby of the sea, with its waves swaying
The lullaby of the mother, sweet and gentle in the cradle
The sea lulls with waves crashing against the shore
The mother lulls the child, crying as it sleeps peacefully
The sea lulls with waves day and night
The mother lulls the child to eternal peacefulness.

16. Lullaby for You - Lan Vương
Lullaby for You
Poem by Lan Vương
Lulling you into a dreamy slumber
The five nights pass, embracing the fragile body.
Lull you to forget all sorrow
Toiled under the weight of restless nights.
Lull you into a soft, peaceful sleep
The sun and rain remain by the doorstep of the years.
Dreaming of distant happiness
The moonlight gleams on the full moon of ancient times.
How much do I love you, enough to convey
The lullaby softly woven, drifting in and out.
Ah, let the memories sink deep within
Gently releasing, we find ourselves.

17. Lullaby for You in Autumn - Hoàng Minh Tuấn
Lullaby for You in Autumn
Poem by Hoàng Minh Tuấn
Hush, the golden leaves rustle,
I sing to you as fallen leaves lead to your home!
I sing to let the soft sunlight in,
The warm golden rays kiss your delicate cheek!
I sing to bring the sun's desire,
Letting fall drops of sweetness onto your lips!
I sing to paint the sky in shades of purple,
As the sunset drifts, carrying my heart's sorrow!
Lullaby for the autumn filled with longing,
Singing of passionate love, waiting and longing!
Hush, I sing the gentle lullaby,
So I can find the love we shared in the past!
Singing for autumn's yearning heart,
Singing for the intoxicating love we give!
Hush, you are beautiful, you are graceful,
The lullaby carries the spring of love into autumn!

18. Poem: Lullaby for You - Phạm Hùng
Lullaby for You
Poem by Phạm Hùng
I sing a dream with a heart that beats fast,
Singing of life with desires and madness.
You cannot get lost in memories,
As time passes, the memories hold tight.
The shore sings with the waiting afternoons,
Waves passionately sing as the sea lulls the shore.
I sing a wandering song with a sorrowful gaze,
But why do you still sing with indifference?
I sing the wind with rustling leaves,
Singing the golden sun, intoxicated by the falling rain.
But I cannot sing to you with a song
Of a heart in love, longing for many days.
I want to see a smile of happiness,
What lullaby... will stir your heart?

19. Poem: Longing for a Lullaby - Phạm Hồng Giang
Longing for a Lullaby
Poem by Phạm Hồng Giang
A little child amidst a lonely world,
Yearns for the soft sound of a Mother's lullaby.
The melody echoing through the autumn dusk,
Embraced by warmth as the fog chills the air.
A little child lost in a desolate life,
An orphan gathering joy and sorrow.
Wandering under the sun and rain,
Hoping for a moment to ease the pain.
A little child, every night, dreams of a wish,
In the cradle, hearing the sweet song of a caring mother.
Free from worries, the troubles dissipate,
In a life filled with storms and hardships.
A little child with wide, innocent eyes,
Who will give me a coat to protect me from the cold?
Who will comfort me and ease my sorrow,
So my sleep may not be disturbed by restless dreams?
A little child, unaware of the world’s weight,
The sad lullaby...
Only exists...
In dreams!

20. Poem: Two Lullabies - Trịnh Thanh Hằng
Two Lullabies
Poem by Trịnh Thanh Hằng
The child travels across all corners of the world
Carrying heavy baggage filled with mother's loving words
Gentle lullabies rocked in the hammock every dawn and dusk
Encouragement to eat well and grow strong, lessons to heed
Sweetly bearing the weight of the world
The voice of the Mother flies beside the child for life
Like the stork and the crane, lullaby's tune
Becoming a man worthy of the world, listen well, my child
Now the mother is frail, worn thin
In her eighties, she awaits the child to comfort her
Oh, life’s storms and struggles
The child rows the boat alone, never leaving their children
Where is the mother’s rosy cheek, the lips once kissed with life?
Now she’s left with thinning hair and uncertain teeth
The body frail and weary like a fragile reed
Rest well, mother, I’m here beside you
A life spent toiling, pulling the plow
Enduring hardships day and night, all for the child
Oh, the heart is worn thin, the lullaby breaks off
How much longer will mother have left?
Mother, sleep deeply
With your child beside you, watching over you in the night
In dreams, see Mother’s smile
In her old age, her heart is fulfilled by the presence of a loving child.
