1. Poem: September - Tran Dieu Huong
September
Poet: Tran Dieu Huong
September arrives, the season changes
Yellow leaves blanket the streets
A sudden downpour falls fast
Children happily carry their books to school.
The scent lingers
The sweetness of milk fills the air
Who is longing, waiting with hope
To welcome September, filled with the fragrance of the countryside.
The scent remains forever
As the red peaches of fate bloom
The night is restless, longing
The smell of green rice cakes calls the wind into dreams.
Waiting, waiting endlessly
For the sweet new season
Autumn arrives, the sunlight leans
Sunlight mingles with memories, filling each smile.
Deep affection still remains
The fragrance lingers in the air
The yellow chrysanthemums await the dawn
Autumn arrives, sunlight spreads over the cheeks of a rosy-faced girl.

2. Poem: Remembering September - Ho Viet Binh
Remembering September
Author: Ho Viet Binh
Graduated in September one year
Leaving Hanoi with the golden sunlight
Far from you, the dreamy girl
We just met, and it was time to part so soon.
Far from the autumn breeze
The scent of milk flowers speaks unsaid words
Far from the drooping willow trees
With their leaves swaying, hair flowing lazily..
The sparkling drops of pure sunlight
Resting on leaves, falling into the lake
Far from the innocent gaze
The bittersweet, nostalgic feeling, I return to the South...
The vast fields stretch wide
September floods overflowing on the banks
Water hyacinths drift, the breeze murmurs
Fish swim, boats row, the noise of the river.
Field mice, lotus flowers brought home
Grilled on fragrant straw, wine by the lips
Listening to the nostalgic folk songs
But how could I forget Hang Voi, Hang Dao.

3. Poem: Falling Leaves - Nguyen Thi Nguyet Anh
Falling Leaves
Poem: Nguyen Thi Nguyet Anh
We met on a September autumn day
The golden chrysanthemums smiled with delicate petals
Innocence and charm, heartfelt sincerity
Eyes met, hearts beat wildly in rhythm.
You waited for me, just in time as the plane landed
We embraced tightly, an unspoken love
It was night, but suddenly it turned to day
Warmth and bliss filled our hearts, lost in happiness.
The train journey carried genuine affection
Taking us to a beautiful, poetic consciousness
To fulfill the longing of months spent waiting
We no longer felt lost in a foreign land.
Time passes, and you fear each moment slipping away
Afraid of being far from me, the distance grows sadder
Every time the leaves fall by the doorstep
Each time I remember the soft lips you gifted me with.
September, oh! I wish the sky always shines bright
So our love could deepen, entwined in unity
So that spring blooms, the fragrance of betel leaves in the air
So love, like the betel vine, grows green and vibrant.
May we walk side by side in an unfamiliar land
Life understands that "even stones need each other".

4. Poem: September - Do Huong
September
Poem: Do Huong
September ripens without being heated
The golden leaves scorch in the autumn season
The dawn wakes from its dreamy slumber
The birds coo, dropping their sweet songs.
The mist lingers lightly
The breeze of autumn slowly sweeps in
Rolling the last summer leaf
The fall of September seems so still.
How many times have we parted sadly?
How many times have our eyes welled up with tears?
Oh, Thuc, please build the bridge
To send the old love across to the other side.
The red flowers of the locust tree ignite the sky
Every night the torch is lit in search of it
The poem flutters like a bird's wing
Flying south to find a place to rest.
We gather the circles of autumn, weary
The images of longing fill the fall
The sun burns through the clouds
Shining golden over the blooming chrysanthemums.
September is found in the gust of wind
The autumn breeze is more than just a love story.

5. Poem: September Enters Autumn - Tony Bui
September Enters Autumn
Poem: Tony Bui
Far away, autumn’s return brings memories
The faint sun dims as the colors fade
Countless memories flow with time’s stream
Hoping to be with you forever!
September enters autumn, like a beautiful dream
I gather verses of poetry thinking of you
Sending them through the mist on the breeze
Carrying all my love, waiting for you!
The season changes, bringing a hint of autumn chill
The golden chrysanthemums bloom, calling to the soul
Each morning, the air fills with fragrance and color
While I stand in the small street, with golden leaves falling.

6. Poem: September Poem - Hoàng Như Phượng
September Poem
Poem: Hoàng Như Phượng
I send you the September poem
With rosy cheeks and a soft purple dress
Dark, dreamy eyes glimmering with a longing stare
The paper unfolds gently, as your hand writes.
This poem carries my heartfelt love
With sweet lips and the sky’s deep blue
The sea of my homeland holds eternal life
Every grain of sand shares its bond with the water.
I still remember the square-shaped fruit from last year
The gift from a faraway island
Just that simple gift warms my heart
It’s the longing, the love that stirs deeply within.
This poem brings to you the beloved Hanoi
The strong scent of milk flowers in familiar streets
The music’s soft rhythm… the brilliant lights
Old footsteps still linger in my memories.
September returns, gently reminding me
Of the days we wore the school uniforms
We stood together in sweet whispers of love
Our poetry connected, binding our hearts together.

7. Poem: September Thoughts - Phan Thu Hà
September Thoughts
Poem: Phan Thu Hà
Perhaps there’s still a trace of summer’s echo
So the red flowers of the locust tree still gently fall
As September arrives, bringing the restless wind
The last soursop silently drops in the quiet streets.
September comes, and suddenly the schoolyard feels more lively
The drum beats echo, signaling the start of a new school year
The vast square waves with red flags and yellow stars
It seems the grass shines greener under the Ba Dinh sun.
Mother’s eyes sparkle with tears of joy
September brings to mind what still stirs in the memories
It’s bittersweet to think of the roads of our country
After the floods, will the students make it to school?
September’s autumn dyes the sky a vast blue
The storm in the distance can’t dull the brightness of the chrysanthemums
The Hoan Kiem Lake remains as clear as jade
The morning mist spreads, adding to the silence of the Turtle Tower.
September has arrived, yet the rains haven’t ceased
The transition of seasons fills the air with the sweet scent of persimmons
The moonlight on the Mid-Autumn night is as gentle as ever
Laughter of children fills the air, as they dance to the beat of the lion dance drums.
September arrives, calling forth the feeling of nostalgia...

8. Poem: The Final Path of Love, I Picked the Diêu Bông Leaves - Dạ Quỳnh
The Final Path of Love...I Picked the Diêu Bông Leaves
Poem: Dạ Quỳnh
Has September arrived, are you aware?
The Diêu Bông promise drifts with the flow
Autumn comes and goes silently
In her pink dress, you step away from the path.
Oh betel nuts and areca! The dream remains half-finished
Your first love now fades softly like smoke
The verses left unsaid
Fading away with the sound of wedding drums.
Ten years away, my wings tire from wandering
Returning to the old road... the nightingale now sings in white
The lullaby carries bittersweet memories
By the window, you stand silently... watching me.
The dust of time has stained your life
Your rosy cheeks now resemble withered leaves
Your velvet eyes hold a stormy sky
Shivering, your fragile body bears the weight...
September returns, the wind sways gently
Your once shared dream now broken midway
Sister...! Look at me, don't turn away
The final path of love... I pick the Diêu Bông leaves.
Dạ Quỳnh

9. Poem: September Comes - Nghi Lâm
September Comes
Poem: Nghi Lâm
September comes, do you even know?
Does your land feel the touch of autumn?
My heart aches with deep sorrow
As I watch the falling leaves, filled with memories.
September comes, how could I forget?
Meeting you on the ferry ride
The dusty roads of An Giang under the sun
It no longer felt hot, for you brought me a cool breeze.
September comes, and I hear autumn singing
A love song meant just for us
We were together in our golden years
Deeply in love, never to part again.
September comes, filled with sorrow
Oh little one, don’t be angry with me
Let the autumn winds tear the leaves away
And let tears fall from the cheeks of spring.
September comes, the old roads are now lost
Where can I find the traces of love we shared?
It all disappeared one evening
The rain quietly erased everything.
September comes, I am left wondering
Where can I find the shadow of the past?
Memories linger, like drops of rain
But you are far, gone beyond reach.
September comes, do you even know?
My heart aches with endless longing
For so many years, I have been filled with sorrow
Loving someone far away!
(Saigon, mid-autumn afternoon, 05/09/2018. Remembering September with so many full memories, of a time of sweetness shared with the marks of love.) N.L

10. Poem: September's Love Song - Phan Thị Tuyết Vân
September's Love Song
Poem: Phan Thị Tuyết Vân
September arrives with the cool autumn breeze.
The violet clouds cover the sky in a wistful embrace.
The flowers bloom, displaying their vibrant colors,
A feeling of unease stirs the quiet evening.
September comes, the chrysanthemums await the season of love.
The gentle winds dance along with the golden sunlight.
The scent of fresh green rice wafts through the air.
Autumn lingers softly, carrying whispers of affection.
September calls to mind familiar roads.
The fragrance of milk flowers intoxicates the senses.
The sunset fades gently over the streets.
The surface of the lake is streaked with hues of golden autumn.
September stirs a sense of longing.
The soft melodies of Trịnh's songs hum in the background.
The passing season pours its sweet nectar.
The alley of love...
Holds tight to the dreams of romance...

12. Poem: Remembering the Wild Daisy Season - Đình Khải
Remembering the Wild Daisy Season
Poem: Đình Khải
Is it true, my dear?
As September comes, the wild daisies bloom
Their golden hues spread across the highlands?
I can no longer join you
In the midst of the wild daisy fields on the hills
It reminds me of those days long ago
The first time I stepped into this land.
We held hands and wandered together
Through the hills and fields
Surrounded by the magnificent sea of golden daisies
As the evening fell, not wanting to leave...
But now, I don't want to recall the bittersweet memories
Only wishing I could fly back to that place
To join you again, to walk through the fields
Among the endless golden wild daisies...
Đình Khải

13. Poem: September Comes - Nguyễn Lan Hương
September Comes
Author: Nguyễn Lan Hương
September arrives with a touch of cool breeze,
As the season follows the leaves flying past a small window
The fresh scent of young rice fills the autumn air.
The red hues of the Lộc vừng trees dye the evening clouds.
September brings a flutter of golden sunlight,
The sky deep and naive, in an endless green.
We return to the city, revived after the storm,
Flying kites, chasing old dreams.
September brings the soft rain of memory,
As the longing turns to mist and weaves the falling rain,
Searching the sky for peace far away,
With the soft white blossoms of the dâu da xoan on the trees.
September comes, and I stand still for a long while,
Fearing the touch of the trees shedding their leaves.
The sky is hesitant, autumn's feeling of longing
The words of love become stone in the distance.

14. Poem: September's Heartfelt Love - Hoàng Minh Tuấn
September's Heartfelt Love
Poet: Hoàng Minh Tuấn
September arrives, full of passion,
My old school brings so many memories,
That farewell day when we graduated,
Unspoken love, longing, and caring for you!
Oh September, how dearly I love you,
The sunset falls, with the chill of autumn's breeze!
We walk through the days of our past,
Yet, my love for you remains deeply rooted in my heart!
September is so clear, so bright,
The autumn sky has no more clouds drifting by,
I remember that day when we parted ways,
A kiss that left us lost in sweet affection!
Oh September, I miss you so much,
It’s been so long, but I’ve never forgotten you!
Our love, forever warm and gentle,
With you, my dear, let’s continue our journey as husband and wife!

15. Poem: September - Trần Đức Phổ
September
Author: Trần Đức Phổ
The cicadas' hum fades as September arrives,
The golden light spills across the earth, dancing with each step.
The sky is clear, like the eyes of a young girl,
And the clouds, white as snow, paint a flawless scene.
September brings smiles as bright as crimson,
Soft hair swaying like willows in the breeze,
A pale hand shields from the sun's rays,
As golden leaves drift down the lonely road.
The poem of September remains unfinished,
With the purple ink of longing in my heart.
As the summer rains depart with a silent farewell,
I stand lost in thought in the fading light of evening.
September is gentle, like a caring nun,
Fragrant with the fruits of forbidden seasons.
The autumn love remains untouched by the cold moon,
Yet life continues with warmth each dawn and dusk.

16. Poem: The Fragrance of Love in September - Thanh Tâm
The Fragrance of Love in September
Author: Thanh Tâm
Who are you waiting for in September?
The autumn scent lingers with blooming jasmine,
As September nurtures a tender love,
Leaving me longing for your sweet lips.
The fragrance of love embraces your heart,
Your heart is filled with quiet hesitation,
All in the company of autumn.
The sound of poetry echoes in the air,
Gentle steps as flowers guide the way home,
September overflows with happiness,
Our love is fated, we will be together forever.

17. Poem: Sad Love in September - Trần Tích
Sad Love in September
Author: Trần Tích
September arrives, and the world grows serene,
The clouds drift lazily, and the sunlight softly gleams,
The fragrant jasmine sways, touched by compassion,
Its scent filling the quiet streets in the night.
As time reverses, the scent of lotus whispers,
Fading petals cling to memories of the past summer,
The pale sunlight weaves a tangled web of longing,
Far away, does the one I love feel this ache too?
In the quiet of the night, hidden pains remain,
My heart still flutters, recalling days gone by,
Old love lingers, but all that remains are echoes,
Withered leaves floating in the distant sky.
September arrives, and my heart grows restless,
Bringing back sorrow I thought was buried long ago,
The first love may have withered, faded, and frayed,
But it forever lingers in my heart, a collection of memories.

18. Poem: September Afternoon Rain - Phạm Hồng Giang
September Afternoon Rain
Poem by: Phạm Hồng Giang
I gather the scattered rain of a September afternoon,
So the strands of my hair don't get drenched against my soft shoulders.
Yellow leaves fall, making the empty street even more forlorn,
The familiar road no longer holds the same peace it once did.
The waters carry away half of the autumn, shifting and uncertain,
A round umbrella by the window of time.
The rain is thick and heavy, as though it intends to melt everything away,
My steps wander aimlessly, overwhelmed by memories.
Could it be that the rain stirs up your heart, dear?
Or is it because we parted ways?
So that the poem I wrote now fades,
And the words of love carry the pain of separation.
The September rain, faint and blurred, seems to silently blame,
For the affection we once shared has been washed away.
Why does the sky allow this season of separation?
To let the Cowherd and Weaver Girl remain apart, waiting by the bridge.
The love still lingers, but seems far away,
The rain persists...
Each drop...
Lonely and sad!

19. Poem: My September - Truong Tuy Anh
My September
Poem: Truong Tuy Anh
I was born in the middle of September, in the fall season
Bombs and smoke clouded our homeland
My father left, leaving his pen behind, heading into the unknown
To protect our home, his wife, and children.
Thirty years of waiting
For the day we would reunite in victory's embrace
My mother grieved when the news arrived, frozen in sorrow
My father never returned, his journey took him far away...
My mother and I still waited in our homeland
She bravely went to the sea, where my father would never come back
The pine trees wept as the tears fell like rain
Singing a lullaby, my father forever asleep in the distant sky.
Today, the country is free from enemies
The school year begins under the bright autumn sun
Grandmother walks with my child, inviting joy and warmth
As the new fall season brings fresh hopes and dreams.
This September, seventy years old, I never imagined
Still living joyfully, my poetic soul remains young forever
How wonderful, following my father's example, I stand proud
Forty years of loyalty to the Party, an eternal pride.

20. Poem: September's Love - Thanh Truc
September's Love
Poem: Thanh Truc
September has come, the breeze gently stirs the air
Autumn's chill spreads slowly, reaching the doorstep
Yet, my heart still cradles a half-remembered love
For the longing that remains deep within my soul.
September brings a deeper yearning
With every moment, my heart beats with memories
I vow that love will weave its thread through time
As the distance between us fades away, the kiss of fate awaits.
September carries dreams of blissful affection
Wishing the celestial matchmaker could bring us together again
So that the quiet nights may no longer ache with loneliness
And the pain that grips my heart will soften in your embrace.
September transforms life into something wondrous
For the sorrow and yearning have finally passed
My emotions burn like a fiery spark
As I fulfill the promises made in our first tender meeting.
