1. Poem: Remembering the Exam Season
Remembering the Exam Season
Poet: Nga Lê
The sorrowful sound of cicadas calls for the exam season
The red flowers of the Phoenix fall like bloodshed
Our time together measured only in fleeting moments
The season of exams also marks the time to part ways
Three years spent under the same lamp, diligently studying
Guided by teachers, growing wiser
Now, each of us must follow our own path
Who can predict where life will lead?
We only feel sorrow when the corners of our eyes are filled with memories
Of happy days that are now past
The pure white uniform carries our heartfelt messages
With signatures of fond farewells to our school days
Later in life, when facing storms and struggles
That uniform will warm the hearts of old friends
We will remember those moments when the school bell rang
The break times when we wore our white uniforms with the hem slightly askew
We jumped rope and planted flowers
Laughter drowned out the ceaseless chirping of cicadas
Picked Phoenix flowers to adorn the hair of young girls
Innocent and radiant, the age of dreams
I stood quietly, not daring to approach
But always remembering the girl of my school days.

2. The Sorrow of the Frangipani Flowers
The Sorrow of the Frangipani Flowers
Author: Sơn nữ
June arrives and the frangipani blooms in fiery red
Exams approach, leaving a lingering feeling in the hearts of young students
The stone benches, the corners of the schoolyard remain
With tearful eyes bidding farewell
The cicadas cry endlessly through the rain
The moss-covered walls are cold and damp morning and night
Why does today’s lecture seem so silent?
The frangipani petals fall gently, mourning the separation
Parting from friends, tears well up in my eyes
I miss the times when we walked side by side
The frangipani sighs in the distant evening glow
As its petals scatter softly in the wind
Summer has arrived, farewell my dear friends
The red frangipani fades into the soft, nostalgic red
Picking the fallen petals and pressing them in my notebook
With lingering feelings, oh those school days.

3. Poem: Summer Sun in the Homeland
Summer Sun in the Homeland
Poem by: Hương Le
The sun burns hot above the Cua climbing the rice stalk
Golden straw glistens, stretching across the countryside
In the noon heat, the breeze refuses to return
The rain no longer invites like before
The Cicadas still scream loudly, piercing the heart
Teardrops follow every step of farewell
The phoenix flowers fall, promising friends for the exam season
All hopes rest in the upcoming harvest
Still, the mother endures the sun as she dries the rice
The Di birds silently search for golden grains
The children find cool places to sing
Climbing the mountains, they play and hide in caves
Still, the Bats steal fruits, gnawing incessantly
Hidden in the quiet mountain heights
Not daring to show off to the Chào mào birds
As at dawn, they offer sweet bananas
The Passerine birds perch on high branches
The Golden-winged warblers sing to call the season
Somewhere, the sound of the temple bell tolling in the night
The heart hums with purity, towards the mountain temple
Still, the sun shines, embracing the close harvest
The old mother bends her back, sweeping the yard
Her figure remains dear and familiar
Always protecting and sharing her meal and clothes
Still, the scorching sun remembers mother's words
Come home, child, don’t chase the birds or disturb the trees
Don’t climb the trees or swim, for fear of sinking
Mother, oh mother, the golden sun carries all my memories.

4. Poem: Season of Farewells...
Season of Farewells...
Poem by: Trần Lộc
The sun runs in circles, chasing the phoenix flowers
Meeting the purple flowers that cover the path
The breeze whispers, gently tugging at the white shirt
Sending tender breezes as gifts of memories
Tomorrow, the desk will be empty without you
Sunlight from the window searches for a ribbon of hair
Blurry eyes, someone bows their head and weeps
As the season fades, where will the phoenix flowers settle?
The sun refuses to set, the farewell season wears us out
You silently shed tears
The cicadas' song tightens the heart
Words are stuck, as hands tightly hold each other
Even at the end of the season, the phoenix flowers remain bright
Messages and promises are exchanged
The distant lands will never make us forget
The first love, tearful at the parting
Saying goodbye, why does it feel so lost?
Words fall short, minds are lost in confusion
Regretful of the phoenix petals left on the stone bench
The exam season arrives, hurrying to pass messages between us.

5. Poem: The Flowers We Leave Behind
The Flowers We Leave Behind
Poem by: Đặng Quốc Khanh
Let us go back, leaving summer for you
Closing the dreams of a youthful time
The petals fall gently beside the rain
There are quiet, unspoken sorrows
Let us go back, leaving behind all the joy
The desire still there, but unfulfilled
All the plans are filed away in the notebook
Leaving behind the innocence of a distant past
Let us go back, regretting a whole sky
Collecting our love, with moments of foolishness
The half-journey on barren land
Putting down the pen, asking forgiveness from our teachers
O exam season, we forsake all future plans
On the path of life, struggling through time
This heart, in solitude, carries a sorrow
One afternoon, the faint sound of cicadas
Saddened by the vibrant red flowers of despair
Left hurriedly, fading on old paper
So June cries for the struggling life
Through the long nights, restless sleep
The rain keeps pouring night after night
Filling the soul with scattered memories
Your cheeks, rosy, making hearts tremble
Leaving behind the unfinished anguish of the exam season!

6. Poem: The Cicada Mistaken for Exam Season
The Cicada Mistaken for Exam Season
Poem by: Hoàng Kao Bình
The old spring path gently opens
As the footfalls of summer arrive
The sunlight bathes the small street
Alongside the rhythm of leisurely steps
In the vast ocean's song
Dipping, quenching the thirst of soft lips
The fragrance of waves gently fades
Love for the soft, peaceful sandbanks
If only we could ask more
And unlock the soul’s deepest woes
The spring dreams are shy to speak
With a fresh, gentle face full of grace
The phoenix silently skips the exams
The cicadas hoarsely rehearse their lessons
The peaceful season fades quietly
As the summer light wanes away
If anyone were to ask
I would quietly wish to reply
Letting go of memories
And drifting idly in carefree play
The market of life closes its doors
For the colors have not yet deepened
Seeking to forget after promises
Spreading out across places never to meet again.

8. Poem: Oh June!
Oh June!
Poem by: Trương Túy Anh
The purple flowers fall along the path you walk.
I wonder who’s on my mind, tears welling in my eyes.
The afternoon sun sways the flowers in the heat
As the red phoenix blooms, providing shade from the sun.
The rich scent of lotus flowers fills the air,
Mixed with the sound of cicadas that hum along with the summer breeze.
The blazing sun suddenly pulls the clouds together,
Pouring down a refreshing rain to quench the thirst we’ve been waiting for.
Oh June, the phoenix lights up with fiery red,
Announcing that the exam season is near, signaling farewells to come.
The beloved white uniforms are full of fondness and tenderness.
Will we still remember each other when we are far apart?
Oh June, who waits at the gate
To whisper words of love to each other?
Holding each other close every evening,
Watching the sunset and the moonlight casting shadows.
Oh June, you hold so many memories,
From a time of youthful dreams.
No matter how far we travel across the world,
The beautiful memories will always stay in our hearts...

9. Poem: Mother and June
Mother and June
Poem by: Nguyễn Ruyến
The sky's clouds roll and swirl
Here comes June, chasing sun and rain
The red phoenix flowers refuse to fade
The cicadas play music, calling for poems
The purple jacarandas remain bright
Still in their violet hue, waiting for someone
The tiring exam days, oh
Who finishes Class 9, who leaves high school...
Under the blazing sun, Mother heads to the field
The golden rice glistens, but her heart worries for her child
A flash of lightning suddenly appears from the east
Not concerned about the gusts of wind or the sudden storms
Only worried that my child’s dreams are drenched
As June stretches out to the ocean's shore...

10. Poem: The Sad Phoenix
The Sad Phoenix
Author: Đào Mạnh Thạnh
Lost in thought, summer gazes at the faded phoenix flowers
Their color wilting, a few blossoms left to fall
Feeling sorry for the old phoenix trees
With unsteady feet, offering flowers without regret
Clusters of red flowers sparkle like sapphire eyes
Our old school, cherished in memories of farewell
Still glowing brightly before the exams arrive
Who would know that spring had passed, oh phoenix?
The sun’s shimmering light still brings warmth to the summer hues
Youth rushes by swiftly, leaving memories behind
The phoenix wings remain intertwined with each other
Now saying goodbye, with the sadness reflected in sapphire eyes
Through countless years, the phoenix keeps flying, undeterred
Bathing in sun and rain, giving all its strength for life
As summer arrives with a vivid red glow
The school sparkles brightly, reflecting the gaze of many
Saying goodbye to summer with a quiet sorrow
Our school now trimmed, the phoenix branches bare
Where have the phoenix flowers gone, leaving the sky empty
Only the sapphire eyes left, filled with longing memories.

12. Poem: The Lovely Exam Season
The Lovely Exam Season
Author: Nguyễn Cao Cầm
The sound of the school drum echoes proudly
The wind rustles, scattered flowers fall
The cicadas hum persistently, non-stop
Announcing the arrival of the exam season with excitement
The sky in June is high and clear
The golden sunlight gently illuminates the space
Students eagerly line up
Paper and pen in hand, excitement fills their hearts
The exam rooms are wide open
Welcoming students who are anxiously waiting
Worried thoughts and concerns fill their minds
As the exam hour arrives, wishing for success
The drum strikes quickly, ticking away time
Teachers step into the exam room
The invigilators stand with solemn faces
Students sit in neat rows, waiting attentively
The exam time is filled with silence
The heads bowed in deep thought
The scratching of pens is heard
Slowly but surely, the pages fill with answers
The blackboard glows with a long string of words
The chalk sparkles, as if encouraging the heart
During the exam, knowledge flows smoothly
Stored in the mind for thoughtful analysis
Endlessly thinking, finding the right meaning
Writing the perfect words on the paper
The ink blurs as the pen moves
A perfect ten blooms like a fragrant flower.
As the exam concludes, a sense of relief fills the heart
The paper is well done, humming softly
The exam season passes by quickly
And with a sigh of relief, it truly is lovely.

13. Poem: The Sun Blurs, Stinging My Eyelashes - Poem 1-2-3 Phạm Tân Dân
The Sun Blurs, Stinging My Eyelashes
Poem: 1-2-3 Phạm Tân Dân
The sun blurs, stinging my eyelashes
The sound of the drum echoes, the pen falls, the exam is done
The gate closes, waiting, the calm green awaits
The sound of cicadas clings to the white shirt
The crimson schoolyard carpeted with Phoenix flowers
The air is full of the mournful song of a kite, drifting, searching for its friend.

14. Poem: A Moment at the School Yard!
A Moment at the School Yard!
Poem: Hoa Lê
"Her dress is yellow, and I return to love the chrysanthemums
Her dress is blue, and I adore the leaves of the schoolyard"
Oh, these tender words of affection
That now linger endlessly in my heart
It is the same schoolyard, the same vibrant green leaves
Memories of exam seasons forever etched through the years
Amidst the hustle and bustle, a peaceful moment
And once again, I am filled with nostalgia like the youth of my school days
No promises, no wildflowers given
No purple hues like the awaited love
No one stops the endless blue sky above
And in my heart, it forever sways...!

15. Poem: Etched in Memory!
Etched in Memory!
Author: Dương Quốc Nam
The blazing sun beats down in the summer heat,
The red phoenix flowers blaze as the cicadas call out.
The exam season is near, my friend!
Be diligent and review, engraving the teacher's words into your heart.
The exam season arrives in a day,
We bid farewell to friends and teachers today.
We are soon to part from school,
As we write farewell messages with tearful eyes.
The exam season brings the red phoenix blossoms,
The white uniforms part, full of sorrow.
Goodbyes to the school and class echo in the heart,
Teachers, full of devotion, shower us with love.
The exam season bids farewell to the school gate,
Teachers and friends, hearts full of longing.
As we graduate and venture far and wide,
Our friends will always remember the time of youth.
The day of reunion will come soon,
Teachers and students will come together, singing with joy.
All the memories filled to the brim,
The exam season will forever linger in our hearts.

16. Poem: School Days
School Days
Author: Mãi tìm nhau
The bright red Phoenix flowers mark the arrival of exam season
The cicadas play a melancholic farewell tune
In the final year, friends will part ways
Each going their own direction, uncertain of where they'll meet again...
A gentle nostalgia, a wish to send my first love
Kept hidden in my heart for so long
As summer arrives, the red Phoenix blooms
May we keep the promise of our farewell words...
Oh, my dear memories, so sweet and tender
The love we shared, etched into our farewell notes
Through the tides of life, through moments of joy and sorrow
We’ll remember each other as we turn each page of those notes...
Love at its best, the feeling of longing overwhelms
For those left behind, regret fills the heart...
Friends part ways, each with their own journey
As every summer arrives, we long for the days of the past...
As June arrives, summer rains pour down...
All the old memories of the school days in white uniforms
Suddenly come alive with the sound of cicadas in the air...
School days... who wouldn’t miss them and love them!

17. Poem: Forever Remembering the Old School
Forever Remembering the Old School
Poet: Nguyễn Minh Triết
We've long since left the old school
A place that once held affection and care
Today, I feel a pang of longing
As memories of youthful love and school days return
Wandering aimlessly before the gate
Watching the Phoenix flowers fall, my heart grows heavy
The fallen petals scatter before the yard
For those who cherish a love that runs deep
How I adored that small, fragile figure
The slender frame, the hair cascading down the shoulders
Together, we dreamed of the future
Hoping for success, for flowers to bloom and fruits to ripen
The cicadas sing their summer song
We hurriedly prepare for exams
And then, the paths diverge and we part ways
Each of us going in different directions
Decades later, we meet again
Our once-black hair now touched with gray
Where are the teachers, the friends
Did they ever return to the classroom we waited for?
Awakening memories of school days
Age may wear us down, but not the heart
Though time may take its toll on our souls
We still wish for a lasting bond of loyalty and love.

18. Poem: Red Phoenix, I Remember the Exam Season
Red Phoenix, I Remember the Exam Season
Poet: Nam Bùi
The red Phoenix flowers remind me of the exam season
They light up with a fiery glow, whispering to me
The sky is blue, drifting lazily across
And the endless cycle of study fills my heart with emotion
The cicadas still sing their hopeful tunes
Echoing my countless memories, wrapped in love
The sunshine pours over the schoolyard
Blurring the ink stains of time with each passing hour
What do I remember from long ago?
When I left my mother's hand, feeling lonely and sad
Time carried the summer away
And the feeling of longing quietly crept into my heart
Where is the diary someone might have found?
Who holds the countless memories we cherished?
Do you still keep those beautiful recollections?
As for me, I still hold tightly to the shadow of those past days
My heart is at peace, but also full of longing
For those golden summer afternoons we once shared
Here, the difficult problems still echo in my mind
And their lingering presence fills me with a dreamy nostalgia...

19. Poem: The Song of the Red Phoenix
The Song of the Red Phoenix
Poet: Phạm Thu
The schoolyard is filled with the sound of cicadas
Summer has arrived, and the sun pours down on hurried footsteps
The red Phoenix flowers blaze bright in the heat
Their beauty fills the pages of yearbooks, overflowing with love.
There's a wistful longing in the summer sky
Teachers, friends, and memories fill the heart
Tomorrow, we'll part ways, but here
The exam season pushes us forward, leaving a bittersweet farewell.
The purple twilight wraps the sky
Someone's hurried words, filled with innocence
Shyness and hesitation fill the air
Under the purple flowering tree, a figure stands lost in thought.
Excitement stirs, emotions intertwining
With a quiet sadness as we head down separate paths
Once, we shared these dreams
And soon, we'll only hold on to the sweet scent of youth.
The empty desk feels lonely
The classroom remains, but we’ve grown apart
The breeze flows through the windows
As we exchange promises of a future reunion.
The exam season, a time of longing
A season of love and memories, reluctant to part
So many unspoken words
The summer evening hums with the song of the red Phoenix.

20. Poem: June Arrives, Too Much Remembering of Exam Seasons
June Arrives, Too Much Remembering of Exam Seasons
Author: Ngọc Hà Trần
June comes, bringing memories of exam days,
Dark circles under my eyes from sleepless nights.
Beautiful essays tucked away in my drawer,
The gentle breeze cradles my dreams, ready to take flight!
June arrives with cicadas crying, oh summer!
No matter how hard I try, the tears still fall into my yearbook.
The red Phoenix petals, carefully preserved,
Two lovebirds sing their sweet love song!
June arrives, a lonely melody falls,
A basket filled with bright Phoenix flowers.
Three months of summer stretch on, endless and deep,
Awaiting the rain, remembering the moments after school!
June arrives, lingering thoughts of you,
Each falling petal a symbol of memories!
Fear grips me, as the sad song of the cicadas plays,
June arrives... I miss it... The exam season, oh!
