1. Poem: WINTER STREET
WINTER STREET
Poem by Hoang Cham
Winter arrives on the street
Softly, your hair blows in the breeze
The evening sighs with a breath
Longing lingers in your fingertips
Counting the days passing by the street
Your hair, melancholy like rain
Winter drops quietly shatter
Bringing our lives together just right
The street remains warm and alive
You still carry the fragrance of dreams
Listening to the evening fall with longing
Letting go as the words flow in the poem
Steps lead me to the end of the street
Turning back to the season of flowers
The night ends with a soul in wonder
A hymn for the moment, fading in the mist.

2. Poem: WINTER ARRIVES
WINTER ARRIVES
Poem by Mrs. Le
Is it already November, has winter come?
Why does the chill return to the silent streets?
Our love grew in those quiet autumns
In the light breeze, the sun would gently spill across the doorstep
Now you're back to the familiar street
The place where our footsteps left their marks
The evening sun spreads across the lake,
As a leaf softly falls, bidding autumn goodbye
Winter has arrived, leaving me lost in thought
A red rose awaits the one who comes to pick it
Its fragrance, tender and wild
In the garden of love, where longing endlessly grows
You hold on to autumn, afraid that I'll miss the meeting
Each full moon, I count the days on my fingers
Hoping for the day when the swallows return, signaling the arrival of spring

3. Poem: WINTER MEMORIES
WINTER MEMORIES
Poem by Ho Viet Binh
On some afternoons, we gather the golden sunlight,
Wrap it carefully, saving it for when the cold winds blow.
Some nights, I return to the realm of memories,
Feeling my heart stir, longing for winter's return.
I remember sitting beside the warm fire,
Two hearts beating in perfect harmony.
We could still hear the unspoken words from the depths of the soul,
Like waiting, like urging the love of another.
I remember the mornings on our way to school,
We would go out to the yard together, warming ourselves.
In our student years, the bond was pure,
We only dared to gaze, never to hold hands.
I remember those winter afternoons, burning straw and roasting sweet potatoes,
Breaking one in half and sharing it with someone.
The sound of laughter echoed, our cheeks flushed like the flames,
Oh, the innocence of those student days.
I remember crossing the river, calling for the boat,
We huddled together by the sugarcane fields.
The warmth of the ferry was so comforting,
The late-night boat ride sheltered our first love.

4. Poem: SENDING WARMTH OF WINTER
SENDING WARMTH OF WINTER
Poem by Giot Mua Thu
Winter has arrived, is it cold over there, my dear?
Perhaps it’s a sense of nostalgia stirring the memories.
Even the wind feels like it carries a deep longing.
The afternoon bends, fading into the horizon.
Winter has come, covering the empty path.
The morning dew gently rests on the grass.
Can you hear the whisper of the wind?
It carries the sound of love, tender and near.
The piano plays a melody, disjointed but lingering.
The chrysanthemums bloom, filling the air with fragrance.
The pale sunlight fades before it can truly shine.
December brings the restless sounds of winter’s arrival.
Reaching the edge of the soul, we find our love garden.
The willow trees bend, the cold wind softly stirs.
The grass clings to my feet, carrying the rich scent of the earth.
I wish to send you…
The warmth of winter.

5. Poem: THERE IS A WINTER LIKE THIS
THERE IS A WINTER LIKE THIS
Poem by Dan Thanh
This winter, I am without you,
So the cold hesitates, unsure if it should arrive.
Winter pities me, alone,
Its pale sunlight filling the air with warmth.
This winter, I am without you,
The milk flowers still linger, holding on to the present.
Only occasionally, a distant fragrance drifts by,
As if the flowers fear the intensity might make me miss you more.
This winter, with no you by my side,
The early morning mist clings to the paths,
The dry leaves, soaked and soft against the red bricks,
The mist lingers, sharing my solitude with me.
This winter, the nights seem longer,
As restless thoughts slow time itself.
I bind my longing to the night’s endless rhythm,
Endless feelings stretching out across the vast expanse.
This winter, I am without you,
But the reminder of you is etched deep in my heart.
The truth is hard to accept, my heart still holds onto hope,
For I still dream of the day when we will be together again!

6. Poem: A DAY IN EARLY WINTER
A DAY IN EARLY WINTER
By Dung Bui Tran
The season of falling leaves,
Softly drifting into life.
I lie still, listening to the winds, whispering their ancient prayers.
Time burns, turning the sunset into a fiery touch,
Parched at the day’s end, as the last ray of sunlight falls asleep.
The chrysanthemum flowers are delicate,
Hesitant to confess their secrets.
The white mist floats, turning dreams into clouds.
The grass, withered, hums in quiet repentance.
Only the ginkgo leaves remain, tumbling playfully on the ground.
The world spins,
Each street corner tilting in my mind.
Where can I find the balance between forgotten and remembered?
The river flows, rocking its boat back and forth,
Always turning back to look at the old shore,
Quietly yearning.
A strange scent drifts by,
A reminder of familiar warmth.
Is it habit or has my heart truly changed?
The honeyed drop of ambition licks my lips,
Letting go of joy and sorrow,
Filling the void in my gaze.
I must leave behind
The color of happiness,
Stepping forward into the distant future.
Because I know
That your rose is blooming,
But if I reach for it, my fingers will bleed
From the thorns.

7. Poem: TOUCHING WINTER
TOUCHING WINTER
Author: Đào Mạnh Thạnh
The autumn has passed... the weather turns to winter
Gone are the golden hues when the sun fades
Suddenly, I feel an emptiness in my heart
The distant sky is blanketed with white mist over the mountains
Autumn's memories linger, full of warmth
Now winter has come... the leaves turn dry and withered
Though I know the love is like a fleeting melody
Sometimes it echoes, sometimes it breaks off unexpectedly
Walking silently through the city streets in the winter dusk
The noise surrounds me, yet my heart remains lonely
The trees stand bare, their branches still
The streets are silent in the absence of familiar footsteps
I walk on, past the street lights
My weary steps mixed with fallen leaves
The autumn is gone, winter brings solitude
Amidst the crowd, I feel an overwhelming chill
Autumn is gone, the trees stand lifeless
Morning dew clings to leaves that are now drooping
In the cold, I recall the days of old autumn
Then winter passes, bringing the promise of spring...

8. Poem: WINTER REMEMBRANCE
WINTER REMEMBRANCE
Poet: Nghi Lâm
October comes, bringing the cold winter near
Is it cold in Heaven, my dear?
The warmth of the blanket is long gone
Only clouds and winds are left there!
The pressed flowers of the lagerstroemia remain
They once accompanied me through countless years
Though time has faded them away
The memories still endure, etched forever!
As autumn ends, I dream even more
Of you returning, my beloved one
Your violet dress adds beauty to the scene
We are together, lost in the moment of love.
I remember when your cheeks were rosy
When we met by the riverside
The weather was already hinting at winter
I loved you so much, my little Violet flower...
October arrives, and my heart feels numb
For the one I once loved is no more
The Violet flower is left alone in the afterlife
I pray for God’s mercy to care for you!
May she return to this world
To be with her love, lighting a fire on a cold winter night!

9. Poem: WINTER HAS COME
WINTER HAS COME
Đình Khải
We’ve just passed through days of torrential rain
With countless unpredictable consequences
Before I could settle back into my routine
Winter arrived, bringing along the chilling winds
I feel for the young girl on the narrow road
Perhaps she’s not yet accustomed to the changing weather
She forgot her warm coat, and the wind pushes her forward
She struggles to ride through the streets
I feel for the mothers, busy in the early morning
With their street vendors already greeting the day
I feel for the older sisters in distant villages
Working hard in the fields despite the cold
And there are more, the unfortunate ones
Who struggle to find enough food, and warmth to wear
As the first cold gusts of winter blow through
The harsh winter still lies ahead
I only wish for the people across the nation
To see their lives improve, and poverty to fade away
My hope is for every home
To have enough food and warmth as winter arrives.
ĐÌNH KHẢI

10. Poem: WINTER RETURNS
WINTER RETURNS
Poet: Hoàng Minh Tuấn
Winter returns, bringing waves of longing,
Winter returns, filling the skies with yearning!
Winter arrives, cold and biting,
Winter comes, with drizzling rain along the path!
Winter returns, the northern wind chilling,
Winter arrives, clouds hide the sky from view!
Winter returns, oh how I miss you,
Winter brings the old days, when we parted ways!
Winter returns, the ache deepens,
Winter comes, wishing to meet again!
Winter arrives, and you’re still as lovely,
Winter returns, I long for your familiar form!
Winter returns, the love so gentle,
Winter brings affection that ripens and grows deep,
Winter returns, a longing in my heart,
Winter returns, and my love is intoxicated with passion!
Winter returns, you’re still in my thoughts,
Winter brings happiness to the both of us,
Winter returns, rekindling old love,
Winter arrives, and I wait to bring you back to me!

11. Poem: WINTER ARRIVES
WINTER ARRIVES
Phạm Tân Dân
Who brought winter here so soon?
Bringing memories, wrapped in golden hues
A bowl of rice reminds me of sweet potatoes
My eyes yearn for the full moon of autumn
Life passes in a fleeting moment of years
Hunger and fullness, all bound by fate
The long road of life sways like the plum tree
Still, I carry memories and send my verses to find their rhyme
Youth is like the pale moon
Waiting at the village’s edge, love unspoken
The bond has yet to form, yet its shadow lingers
Life weighs heavy on the shoulders of a warrior
The bamboo stands tall by the temple gate
Through spring, autumn, and summer, it weaves its story
The yellow leaves whirl, as the old clouds gather
Winter comes, bringing the bittersweet plums

12. Poem: WINTER FAR AWAY
WINTER FAR AWAY
Tony Bui
The snow falls thick, blanketing the path to my door
The distant paradise is a place only for me
Barefoot, the cold bites with each step
The small soles ache as shadows pass by
The burden on my heart carries a mother's love
For many days, my soul longs for my father's warmth
In this foreign land, the evening is lonely and still
My eyes are soaked, tears blurring my sight

13. Poem: WINTER NIGHT
WINTER NIGHT
Poem by Nguyễn Hường
The cold chills the warm slumber
Woolen blankets and cushions glow with the pink hue of love
Forgetting all struggles and hardships
I hum a tune as the rain pours down, heedless of the sky
Outside, the mist clings, droplets falling
The north wind blows gently, insects fluttering aimlessly
In the first hours of the night, darkness thickens
The sweet warmth of sleep, strange dreams unfolding
Dreams filled with desires and hopes
A life forever bright under the stars and moon
The melody of the song carries countless words
As the years go by, a smile follows
Adorning our land with beauty and grace
Flying over fields, people’s voices rising in song
Still and silent, I gaze into the distance
The music flows softly, echoing over hills and rivers
The love for my homeland is vast and endless
Genuine hearts, open, intoxicated by the fragrance of nature

14. Poem: FAR AWAY AUTUMN
FAR AWAY AUTUMN
By Trần Nguyên Soái
Autumn calls for the arrival of winter,
Bringing forth the echoes of a once passionate love.
In the prime of life, full of elegance and grace,
We part ways, our hearts filled with aching longing.
Choked with emotions, uncertainty lingers,
We send our memories into the vast sky of autumn.

15. Poem: NOT AFRAID OF WINTER
NOT AFRAID OF WINTER
Poem by Hương Mrs -le
As autumn fades, I miss you more and more
Afternoon falls, yet the sun still holds memories
In the moments we shared, the dawn on the seaside
Though we're apart, my heart still trembles with longing
Autumn has passed, but does the old poem remain?
I've packed it away, to warm me through the winter
The cold wind blows on hands that still feel the chill
Yet my heart is warm, waiting for you to return
With you, we're not afraid of storms and rain
For love burns brightly like a flaming fire
Come closer to me, let our hearts draw near
In this sweet embrace of endless longing
With you, we're not afraid of winter's bite
I've sent you a blanket to keep you warm
One half to cover you, wherever you are far from home
The other half keeps me close, in the distance without you..

16. Poem: THE LAMENT OF WINTER EVENING
THE LAMENT OF WINTER EVENING
Hoàng Chẩm
The winter evening
bows its head in quiet sorrow
Listening to the distant tune
burying the traces of lost love
In mid-spring
hidden by the fog
Strange yet familiar faces
unfamiliar, oh my!
The winter evening
lets the memories fall
As we lose a part
under the vast blue sky
Too late
yet the flowers remain
The day leans with the breeze
and dreams fade into mist.
The winter evening
picks up the thread of life
Sketching a soul’s void
by the riverbank of home.
You return
to spread the intoxication
Of salt, of spice
and the shared burdens between us
The winter evening
looks ahead, looks behind
If you step away
the pain stretches beyond measure
Now
You are all alone
I return, gently brushing your face
A faded pink of days gone by.
Winter, home of memories 2017

17. Poem: WINTER IS HERE, MY LOVE!
WINTER IS HERE, MY LOVE!
Hạ Như Trần
Winter has come
Don't be angry, my love!
Let's reconnect, the thread is about to break
I'm so scared, the long winter night... restless
Tossing and turning without you... the cold wind returns
Your entire life
is made of the dreams I have
Of longing, of foolishness... of attachment
Of forever, never fading
Winter is here, please be here with me!
We'll drink together
the sweet, cool water
Sharing warmth throughout the freezing night
We’ll silently be, no need for words
Counting heartbeats, then fading... into silence
With you, happiness fills the entire winter.

18. Bài thơ: TRĂN TRỞ BUỔI ĐÔNG VỀ
TRĂN TRỞ BUỔI ĐÔNG VỀ
Thơ: Hoàng Minh Tuấn
Thu đi đông đến quả là buồn
Ngõ phố chiều mưa nặng hạt hơn
Lạnh giá heo may trên lối cũ
Vắng em giấc ngủ chẳng say nồng
Nặng lòng nỗi nhớ ngày xưa đó
Trăn trở từng đêm mãi ngóng trông
Ngày ấy em đi thu cũng khóc
Đông về gọi lại nhớ cùng mong
Em ở phương xa hỏi có về
Anh chờ anh đợi ở trong quê
Thu đi đông lại đâu cần biết
Chỉ bóng hình ai mãi khắc ghi
Muôn thuở tàn thu đông sẽ tới
Ngàn năm thương nhớ sẽ quay về
Nay thu đã hết đông trở lại
Đừng để tình ta lạnh tái tê

19. Poem: THE DAYS OF WINTER
THE DAYS OF WINTER
Ha Nguyen
Is it winter yet, are you on leave?
The cold wind sweeps through the icy room
The last of the starfruit falls through the night
The rain this afternoon leaves the roof leaking, no one to cover it.
The small kitchen you fixed up in summer
Now winter arrives, the cold never seems to lessen
The house is empty without you, so lonely
I curl up, facing the quiet of the late night.
Why does this winter night drag on so long?
I hear the crickets chirping in the empty garden
Sitting still, counting drops of bitter coffee
What emptiness doesn’t feel unstable?
What longing is deeper than the winter days?

20. Poem: Is It True That Winter Has Arrived?
IS IT TRUE THAT WINTER HAS ARRIVED?
By Trịnh Thanh Hằng
Is it true that winter has arrived knocking at the door?
Autumn is gone, leaving behind the mild chill
The chrysanthemum buds open gently each day
The cold winds of the North quietly creep in
Is it true that winter has arrived, blending in?
The light rain caresses my flying hair
The old streets lift the delicate steps of this beauty
The earth seems to hold its breath in peace
Is it true that winter has arrived, echoing in the air?
The city hums with the call of street vendors
A bright smile on cheeks flushed with warmth
Someone grills corn by the hot, fragrant sweet potato pot
Is it true that winter has arrived, crossing my path?
So sweet and warm, it comforts the soul
Bringing love to burn away the sighs
The strings hum softly, intoxicated by passion
Is it true that winter has come from far away?
And softly sings a love song of the heart
All dreams fade to pale echoes
As winter pours honey into the season of love and joy
Is it true that winter has arrived at the perfect moment?
Embracing the heart, preventing loneliness from freezing
All sorrow and anger in the sea of life
Melts away when winter touches the door
