1. Poem: MONTH OF REMEMBRANCE
MONTH OF REMEMBRANCE
Author: Nguyễn Thị Hồng Hạnh
November has arrived,
And memories flood my mind.
A lifetime devoted to the profession,
Planting seeds of thought and knowledge day by day.
The teaching profession is not without hardships,
Facing many storms as life changes.
Like a boat in the open sea,
The teacher steers with steady hands, never ceasing.
People say teaching is a humble profession,
No rice, corn, or cassava to harvest.
But what is there to worry about?
The teacher’s mission is to nurture minds, tirelessly.
Many years have passed, and fruits have grown,
Many generations crossed the river thanks to the teacher’s guidance.
In November, this reminder stirs my heart,
Countless generations remember the teacher’s ferrying hands.

2. Poem: REMEMBERING THE TEACHER
REMEMBERING THE TEACHER
Nguyên Đức
Teacher, you have gone far away,
The lessons of wisdom and care stay with me forever.
Remembering you brings tears to my eyes,
Sorrow fills my heart, as life moves on in impermanence.
You will always be a shining example,
Forever the guiding light on my path.
No matter the hardships you endured,
Your teachings remain etched in our lives.
The evening fades, and the journey ends,
You have returned to the Pure Land, shining in the West!
Leaving this world behind, but your legacy remains,
You have left behind a heaven of wisdom and blooming flowers.
Years have passed, and your teachings have flourished,
You sowed knowledge, enriching the world.
You reminded me to remain diligent,
To study and contribute to building our future.
Our homeland is in our hands,
We study for a brighter tomorrow.
We miss you, teacher, and tears fall,
Your honor will remain forever in our hearts.

3. Poem: I WILL ALWAYS LOVE MY PROFESSION
I WILL ALWAYS LOVE MY PROFESSION
Poem by: Nguyễn Đình Hưng
I’ve never said goodbye
To the blackboard and white chalk,
Though many challenges weigh heavy,
At times, the clouds obscure the sun,
And some stains still linger in education.
But I am always with the children,
The future of our country.
Their laughter, their bright eyes,
Unaware of deceit, innocent and pure,
Full of dreams and ideas.
I rejoice each day,
Finding creative ways to teach,
Guiding my students with patience,
Making lessons clear, helping them improve,
Their knowledge growing, their character shining.
I will always love my profession,
Because youth is always by my side,
Filled with laughter, their hearts pure.
I am like a sunflower, silently nurturing,
Carrying in my heart the bond between teacher and student.

4. Poem: TEACHERS IN MILITARY UNIFORM
TEACHERS IN MILITARY UNIFORM
Poem by: Trần Hải Lộc
These days, on the faraway islands,
There are teachers who don’t receive gifts,
Yet they quietly continue their work,
In peaceful villages, sowing knowledge like blooming flowers.
In military uniforms, so calm and kind,
They defend every inch of our land,
Living with the people as family,
Teaching agriculture, spelling out each word.
You came here with a deep love,
Bound by the blood of our homeland,
With the spirit of our ancestors,
Enduring hardships with a beautiful heart.
With a gun on your shoulder and bare feet,
The clear water of the stream reflects your figure,
While the birds sing and the villagers join in harmony,
The sound of your voice echoes softly in the air.
On the mountainside, you teach planting,
In the midst of the dam, preserving the pure stream,
With the people, you work tirelessly,
Sowing knowledge, planting corn and rice.
While you are away, your loving wife misses you,
But up here, both the young and old wait for you,
In a place where knowledge climbs the steepest hills,
To reach a village with faint traces of life.
Do you know, during the floods and rain,
Sitting by the station, feeling sorry for the floods around,
The books and blankets washed away,
How can you bear to see the people without food, without education?
Being both a soldier and a teacher is no easy task,
With a generous heart, but full of patience,
Worthy of being both a teacher and a heroic soldier,
Not choosing flowers, but finding beauty in the wild.
You know that down in the city, your friends are gathering,
On this day, celebrating teachers,
On the Teacher's Day, you quietly dream,
To visit the old school and your former teachers.
Filled with love, surrounded by warmth,
You wish you could return to your hometown,
To become a teacher with more colleagues,
And see the children happily attending school.

5. Poem: MY BELOVED MOTHER IS A TEACHER
MY BELOVED MOTHER IS A TEACHER
Written by: Hồng Soi
In my childhood, my mother was my teacher,
I was born to the lullabies she sang,
Her lifelong dream was for me to be safe,
To grow up gentle, healthy, and strong.
When the cold wind blew, she feared I might wake,
The warm stove kept watch all night long,
While I slept soundly, deep in her care,
Oh, the sweet fragrance of my mother’s milk.
She would soothe me, gently whispering,
“When you go to school, be good and smart, my dear,
With your teachers, learn many things,
Always strive for kindness, beauty, and truth.”
This is also what teachers hope for,
Day by day, they nurture our dreams,
Mother, teachers, weaving together,
The dust of chalk no longer the same as before.
Time passes, but the memories remain,
Teachers, now I have grown up,
On Teachers' Day, I humbly express my gratitude,
Sending thousands of bright, colorful flowers to you!

6. Poem: DILIGENTLY!
DILIGENTLY!
Written by: Nguyễn Đức Phúc
The lesson plans have just closed,
But the memories linger within me,
My life's work now complete,
Carrying knowledge across the river of life.
Even in retirement, I can't truly rest,
For I still have meals to prepare for my children.
The wisdom of teaching remains with me,
Guiding my children, now teaching the next generation.
Though I have retired, my hands are never idle,
For I still sew and craft with care,
A job for women to take pride in,
Daily ensuring life goes on—DILIGENTLY.
With a love for fashion and tailoring,
I continue learning without pause.
To make both myself and others shine,
For the benefit of us all, I work hard.
On Teachers' Day, I offer a simple gift,
Some words of gratitude for you all.

7. Poem: REMEMBERING OUR TEACHERS!
REMEMBERING OUR TEACHERS!
By: Nguyễn Thị Khánh Hà
Halfway through my life, I glance back,
At those innocent days, carrying my books to school,
All those years, the image of my teachers,
Still deeply engraved in my heart from those early years.
Standing here in the schoolyard, I can still hear
The voices of my teachers, forever reminders,
As though they were the tools to guide me into life,
I will never forget the first lesson they taught me.
With nostalgia, I remember those carefree childhood days,
Still unaware, yet to grasp my teachers' words,
Entering adulthood, caught up in life's fast pace,
Only to pause when I realize it's all gone...
The lessons from my teachers, so profound,
The green sprouts now standing tall in line,
Now, like a book with a new chapter,
I feel warmth in my heart, as I too am now a teacher!

8. Poem: THE NOBLE PROFESSION
THE NOBLE PROFESSION
By: Nguyễn Ruyến
November arrives gently, ushering in the season,
Stirring memories of the boat that carried dreams,
Steering through the waves, without a thought of weariness,
The helmsman is steadfast in their duty.
Young passengers cross the river, each heading their own way,
Some to become doctors, others to be engineers...
Whether sharp-minded or simply kind-hearted,
All hold dear the memories of a time now past.
The frangipani blossoms light up the schoolyard,
In moments of farewell, emotions run deep,
Eyes mist over as we say goodbye to our teachers,
Will the age of 18 ever return?
November is a time for gratitude and compassion,
The ones who guided us, so patient and kind,
Working tirelessly to nurture our growth,
Ensuring that each young soul shines brightly.
Despite the storms or torrential rains,
The boatman remains steady, navigating the waves,
For the future of the descendants of Lạc and Hồng,
They carry the torch of honor and integrity.
As chrysanthemums bloom in November's embrace,
We celebrate our teachers, who patiently steer us,
For the tree of life bears fruit from their care,
This noble profession—shaping minds for the homeland.

9. Poem: THE PATH I HAVE TRAVELED
THE PATH I HAVE TRAVELED
By: Ha Nguyen
I have walked many roads,
To schools hidden deep within the valleys,
On hillsides, precariously perched against cliffs,
Listening to the streams softly whisper stories of education.
The streams speak of teachers overcoming hardships,
After class, a mother soothes her crying child before returning to the fields,
To reap the golden harvest of rice grains,
Sweet, sticky, and fragrant within the bamboo tubes of steamed rice.
The streams recount the floods that swept from the mountains,
Rushing through the dark of night,
A mother protecting her child with a quick embrace,
As a wife calls out, searching for her husband, their cries echoing against the mountain walls...
The streams share tales of misty mornings,
When children climb mountains to collect each word,
Teachers from the plains traveling hundreds of miles,
Determined to nurture distant dreams.
The streams tell of sunlit hillsides covered in flowers,
Of lives that rise above fate,
Of those who plant seeds of hope,
On the barren lands of the poor...

10. Poem: THE GREAT FERRYMAN
THE GREAT FERRYMAN
Poem by: Tony Bui
The afternoon sun casts its fading light on the lecture halls,
The lotus blooms, filling the air with its fragrance,
Friendship and gratitude during the first day of school,
The beautiful bond between teachers and students as the new school year begins.
Summer’s breeze passes by with memories lingering,
Now, autumn returns, bringing a sense of nostalgia.
The great ferryman, unafraid, steers the boat,
Carrying us across the waters to dream of brighter futures.

11. Poem: A MISSED APPOINTMENT
A MISSED APPOINTMENT
Poem by: Trần Duy Hạnh
(Dedicated to the teachers of SOS Children’s Village - HP)
My students call me 'Mother',
Orphans who share the same home,
Love soothes their sorrow,
Goodness fills our little sanctuary.
We met, love began to bloom,
I waited, just for you,
Eagerly anticipating our reunion,
But in the end... you missed our meeting.
Still, I wait, my heart full of longing,
Whether under the scorching sun or as twilight falls,
Even if the night hides beyond the horizon,
You are always busy caring for the children.
Even now, you remain the same,
Unable to leave the little ones behind,
Making them smile through their dreams,
You are the bright star in their slumber.
The noble work in life,
Students see you as an angel,
And I forever cherish the bond we share,
Nothing will ever pull us apart.

12. Poem: THE HEART OF THE OLD TEACHER
THE HEART OF THE OLD TEACHER
Author: Vũ Hoàng
Dust of chalk settles... time passes
One word from the teacher lingers forever
Preparing children to journey ahead
Learning to walk the path that dispels the darkness
The teacher's words serve as a guiding light
How can the boat steer through the shadows of confusion?
Lessons of the past cleanse the stains of ignorance
Now, fame and fortune lead astray from the old, true path
Graying hair, yet the teacher’s heart still nurtures
Teaching wisdom... never leading astray
Across the land, a smile lingers
Education’s debt is not paid with flowers or ceremonies

13. Poem: THANK YOU, TEACHER
THANK YOU, TEACHER
Author: Nguyễn Hồng Linh
Returning to the old school again
The phoenix trees in bloom, the cicadas singing through a sudden rain and sunlight
The teacher’s voice is warm and welcoming
Beside the blackboard, the dust from the chalk flies in the air.
The teacher gave me trust and the dreams to follow
Like a flame guiding me through the dark night
Even when my steps were unsure
I walked into life with the hope of a bright future ahead.
The teacher nurtured the seeds that will bloom tomorrow
Even though the journey was long, you never stopped tending to us
So that we could soar towards the sky
And I still remember... yesterday’s homework.
The teacher’s words echo in my ears on a summer afternoon
The soft breeze carries chalk dust on my hair
I suddenly realize the teacher’s hair has turned white
And I quietly say, “That chalk dust... thank you, teacher!”
My heart feels heavy! Tears start to fall
Feeling so sorry for the teacher who has worked so hard
Each year, students come and go
We grow up... and the teacher grows old too.
Oh, time! Please stop and don’t rush by
Let me go back to those days in the old school
To repay the deep gratitude I feel for you, teacher
Thank you for giving me a new world to explore.

14. Poem: A VISIT TO THE OLD SCHOOL
A VISIT TO THE OLD SCHOOL
Author: Trương Túy Anh
I returned to visit my old school
Nearly a century old, it hasn’t faded away
My father, the teacher, went to war
Answering the call to protect our land.
Through the years of smoke and fire
The school stood firm, a place of defiance
The teacher and students never wavered
Enduring hardship to cleanse the wounds of foreign invasion.
So many quiet victories amassed
Adding to the history of this school
Fathers and older brothers stood brave
Today, their students shine bright across the land.
Building a magnificent nation
Side by side with countries all over the world
The teacher’s contribution is vast, like the deep ocean
Planting the seeds of knowledge to enrich both mind and heart.
The former student, with white hair and a worn face
Returns to the old school, tears silently falling
Bowing to say farewell to the school once more
With memories engraved and deep love for the teacher.

15. Poem: A GIFT FOR THE TEACHERS
A GIFT FOR THE TEACHERS
Author: Đào Mạnh Thạnh
(On the occasion of Vietnam Teacher's Day, November 20th)
The teaching profession remains forever noble
True and pure, it will never fade away
The teachers are the ones who help us spread our wings
Guiding youth to the shores of knowledge.
For the future of our land and nation
Unfazed by the hardships that lie ahead
With dedication and passion, year after year
Sharing wisdom and knowledge with all.
Despite life’s many struggles and difficulties
On distant islands where storms rage and winds blow
On high mountains with rivers blocking paths
Nothing will deter... the heart of a teacher shines bright.
With faith and love for everyone
No matter how tough the obstacles may seem
The teachers continue tirelessly every day
Sowing knowledge and virtue with care.
Whether in remote islands or distant highlands
Their dedication is something to be proud of
Even when whispers and gossip may arise
Their faith and honor will forever endure.
The gratitude for teachers is a lasting legacy
Helping youth grow, guided by time's flow
The teaching profession remains ever noble and bright
Beautiful beyond measure, filled with heartfelt verses...

16. Poem: REMEMBERING MY TEACHER
REMEMBERING MY TEACHER
Author: Nghi Lâm
When I first switched schools
I met her in class, so kind and gentle
She looked as beautiful as a blooming flower
Wearing a neat, graceful áo dài to greet us.
I was happy yet nervous
Admiring her, then quickly heading to my desk
Her lesson, unfinished, continued
Her smooth, clear voice made it easy to listen.
From that moment, I enjoyed learning
With someone so close, guiding and teaching
The verses flowed freely from her words
Her explanations were full of meaning, every sentence rich with care.
Then came the day of parting
In a blink, it was time to return home
Looking at her, I felt a deep affection
Parting from my beloved teacher, tears filling my eyes.
Though she didn't teach for long
The students still cherish her soft-spoken words
For me, the memory lingers
Of those moments spent listening to her gentle lessons.
Two years of learning were truly wonderful
With her guidance, I explored poems
Gradually, I began to dream
With countless thoughts that filled my mind each day.
Her kindness will always stay with me
Just as the words she wrote with persistence
My poetic thoughts blossomed and grew
All thanks to her care and encouragement.
So I will always be grateful to her
For leading me forward... INTO LIFE THROUGH POETRY!

17. Poem: TEACHERS ARE LIKE FLOWERS!
TEACHERS ARE LIKE FLOWERS!
By Dương Quốc Nam
(Dedicated to Teachers on 20/11)
We express our gratitude to the teachers of our nation,
With sincere appreciation for their noble deeds.
Teachers tirelessly give their all every day,
Hoping their students embrace learning with diligence and joy.
Teachers don't shy away from challenges or difficulties,
Striving for their students' success, maintaining harmony.
Teachers are like blossoms,
Building a foundation for life, rich in color and fragrance.
Teachers are filled with compassion,
Shielding their students from life's troubles.
Through their role in teaching knowledge and shaping character,
They impart wisdom and share smiles with empathy.
Teaching is not an easy task,
But teachers design lessons that offer timely support.
Teachers embody the wisdom of life,
And students flourish under their guidance, basking in happiness.
We revere our teachers and honor their wisdom,
For their contributions to the thriving future of Vietnam.

18. Poem: A TOKEN OF GRATITUDE
A TOKEN OF GRATITUDE
By Hoàng Chẩm
The white shirt, still untouched by dust,
The teacher’s influence, once in a blue uniform.
Years spent in the company of words,
Growing from small lessons to greater understanding.
We owe much to the quiet boats that cross the river,
Taking us from shore to shore.
They anchor us at the harbor of knowledge,
And we are forever grateful for their endless contribution.
We thank the teacher for enduring storms of life,
Sailing through many hardships.
They pour their heart into blank pages,
Working tirelessly for the growth of their students.
Gratitude for the teacher, the one who sows knowledge,
Even as their hair turns gray.
Through the trials of life and death,
The teacher remains steady, unshaken on their path.
We are thankful for the teacher, whose reach is vast,
Whose heart will forever leave its mark.
As we grow, step by step,
We will always remember their profound legacy.
Respectfully, Teacher!

19. Poem: MY TEACHER
MY TEACHER
By Trần Tĩnh
Unaware, I entered the world of learning,
Uncertain of depth, direction still unclear.
But you were like a guiding flame in the night,
Lighting my path and showing me the way.
In the beginning, confused and lost,
Struggling with the rules and rhythms of learning.
But you were patient, guiding me step by step,
Leading me to the heights of poetry.
Teacher, as the years go by,
The waves crash against the fragile boat of my life.
Through the storms and rocky paths,
At times full, at times empty...the journey continues.
Carrying wisdom that never fades,
Even in the darkest times, your heart shines bright.
"The stone may wear down, but the heart remains unchanged"
Teacher, your love will always be engraved in my heart.

20. Poem: THE TEACHER FROM THE MOUNTAIN REGION
THE TEACHER FROM THE MOUNTAIN REGION
By Hoa Lư
Leaving the bustling city lights,
The teacher heads to the remote hills and valleys.
With a dream to bring knowledge to all,
Planting seeds of wisdom, building a better future.
Under the scorching sun, she still smiles,
Braving the cold, enduring hardships, her spirit unbroken.
Through rocky slopes and winding paths,
Her tireless feet bring education to those in need.
Sometimes, the children don't show interest,
But with love, she whispers patiently day by day,
Bringing them sweets to enjoy,
Encouraging them, saying, 'Come, let’s go to school.'
Despite a meager salary,
She shares it with the children, empathizing with their poverty.
Through the mountainous terrain and dense forests,
She is like the teacher from a humble village, facing hardship.
Many times, there isn't enough food,
Her small hands endure the harsh winds and rains,
Farming to provide for the children,
Ensuring their bellies are full and their hearts are content.
At night, by the dim light of a lamp,
She carefully arranges lesson plans, fueled by hope.
Her love for teaching comes from the bottom of her heart,
And her compassion for those in need leads her back here.
Her heart longs to build,
A brighter future for all, shining with promise.
Despite life's struggles and challenges,
She finds joy in bringing knowledge to those in need.
