1. International Children's Day
Poem: Nguyễn Tiến Đường
As June arrives with summer's embrace,
Childhood’s joy fills the waiting space.
On the first of June, children cheer,
International Children's Day, a dream sincere.
Across the world, unity is near,
Children’s smiles bring joy so clear.
From Vietnam’s lands, far and wide,
We care for the youth, with love and pride.
Families and society unite,
To ensure children’s futures are bright.
With warmth, full bellies, and clothes to wear,
Teachers guide them through life’s affair.
Peace is the wish for all mankind,
Happy families with children entwined.
Society provides hope, as dreams unfold,
For a future where children’s dreams are told.

2. The Smile of Children
Poem: Sơn Nữ
On the first of June, the festive day,
Love has been gathered in every way.
Everyone wishes to express their care,
Hoping each day brings joy to share.
We wish for the smile of a child,
A healthy bird growing strong and mild.
Pure-hearted and free from strife,
We nurture the goodness in their life.
Like old bamboo with sturdy roots,
Showing gratitude to parents' fruits.
For the country, we shall strive,
Young trees grow tall, through storms they thrive.
A gift for children, a thousand wishes sent,
From homes filled with love, a family's intent.
Joining the world of modern grace,
Living with equality and love in every place.
Celebrating the festival with cheerful songs,
Children are the music that life prolongs.
Wishing for smiles everywhere to glow,
In every corner, pure joy will show.

3. The Child's Dream
Poem: Đinh Thị Hiển
On the first of June,
International Children's Day,
Mom, can we go,
Visit the zoo today?
Mom smiles with joy,
Agreed, my dear.
She understands so well,
For she often scolds with love.
Every time I'm mischievous,
Calling me a little monkey.
So, I wish to see,
And learn about monkeys, you see.
There are many animals there,
Which one do I like best?
Tell me, my dear,
Raise your hand, then speak out loud!
Why choose a little monkey?
Please don’t laugh, oh mom!
Because you always say...
I act just like one.
A day of joy for all children,
Dreams that are small yet bright,
Pure and round in a child’s heart,
Here, the Earth is big and full of light.
With horizons wide open,
Awaiting discoveries for us,
The child’s dream is bright and clear...

4. Today is Children's Day
Poem: Nlp Trinh
Today is Children's Day,
It's the day when mom gives many gifts,
A day when children get to play,
And receive countless hugs and kisses.
Today is Children's Day,
A day full of fun, learning new things,
What could be better than Children's Day,
Walking with mom and dad through the streets?
A meaningful, joyful day,
Full of happiness, a family full of love,
How sweet Children's Day is,
A day to remember, never to forget.

5. Working Together for Children
Poem: Trần Hải Lộc
Raising people benefits generations to come,
Uncle Ho reminds us to care for the children,
Childhood is a bud, a flower,
Growing into the pillars of the nation in the future.
The young bamboo shoots bend today,
Caring for children like nurturing plants in a garden,
Children laugh and cry,
Their minds and bodies grow every day.
Lift up each child's dream,
A compassionate heart, never to be forgotten,
In the future, when these children grow,
They will build a strong, compassionate nation.
Family, society, and schools,
Working together for good, setting examples for children,
Loving with all our hearts,
Remembering Uncle Ho's advice, nurturing childhood.

6. Summer Vacation
Poem: Trương Túy Anh
The phoenix lights up the sky,
The green leaves hum a tune,
The music resonates with high and low notes,
Summer has arrived, my friend!
Let's meet at the end of the alley,
And head to the countryside for a visit,
Admire the golden rice fields,
The scent of ripe rice fills the air.
To my grandparents' house in Đồng Tháp,
We visit the fragrant lotus ponds,
Race each other on boats,
Swim and bathe in the river.
On evenings in the fields,
The kite dances in the wind,
We run along the dike, shouting joyfully,
Under the vast blue sky.
In the garden, we pick roses,
Watch the bees and butterflies fluttering,
We climb trees to pick rambutan, mangoes, and jackfruit...
Oh, how delightful and fulfilling,
These summer days in the countryside,
So many fascinating experiences,
To carry into the new school year.

7. Remember to Obey
Poem: Dương Quốc Nam
Children are at the stage of youth,
They enjoy learning and always obey.
Like fresh green shoots,
They are like sprouts that illuminate the country with their brilliance.
In the sky, the white clouds whisper,
The flowers bloom brightly whenever the sun is golden.
They know how to play, practice gently,
Eat well, dress beautifully, and are ready to share.
Sleep soundly, peacefully,
Know how to do good deeds, full of love.
They study diligently, cherish their school,
Follow the path of self-cultivation, setting an example for a love of life.
As children, they don't crave play,
They are obedient, respectful, and make life greener.
Children are like buds on a branch,
Knowing how to eat, sleep, and study well is being good.

8. Forever a Well-behaved Child
Poem: Nguyễn Thị Hồng Hạnh
(Quotation: Poem by President Hồ Chí Minh)
Children joyfully rush to school,
They are lovingly taught with great care.
Like fresh bamboo shoots, vibrant and beautiful,
They are strong buds that grow quickly and healthily.
High above, the sky is a vast blue,
The branches of the trees greet the cool breeze with a rustling sound.
Childhood loves sweetness,
Eating, playing, learning, greeting, and saying goodbye.
Sleep soundly, remember,
Obey your mother and make your father proud.
Study diligently, never neglecting,
Behave properly; that is what makes a good child.
You are the future of the country,
Obedient, respectful, and virtuous, you truly deserve your name.
Children are like buds on a branch,
Knowing how to eat, sleep, study, and behave well is being good.

9. A Dream's Aspiration
Poem: Nga Lê
Carefully preserving each drop of fragrant milk,
Raising a child to maturity, blooming into adolescence.
Innocent, with bright and clear eyes,
The first day of school, holding hands with mother.
Shyly standing by the side,
The teacher warmly greets, leading the child into school.
Through the years, growing up steadily,
Sharing joyful moments with friends, always diligent.
"Children are like buds on a branch,"
Words of guidance from mother to child,
Caring and nurturing every day,
For the future, contributing to the homeland.
That’s how we repay our parents,
And honor the teachers who helped shape us into who we are.
Study hard, practice good manners,
And never forget the teacher's advice for life.
May all children, everywhere,
Have warmth, peace, and comfort.
No longer worrying about daily survival,
Childhood free from hunger, allowing them to focus on learning.
It's heartbreaking to see a life filled with worries,
Where laughter fades away, and one is lost in life's struggles.
May the world be a beautiful place,
Where we all join hands to build a better future.
Children should not suffer,
Childhood should not be about hunger or hardship.
Life will eventually blossom,
Like bamboo and shoots, the forest will grow lush.
May the young grow strong and wise,
To build the nation and stand proud alongside the world.

10. Mother and Child
Poem: Trần Thị Tĩnh
- Mother, why does the moon
Always follow me around?
Mother smiles: "The moon loves you,
So it never tires of following you."
- But what about the boat out there?
Why doesn't it return to shore?
- Because beyond, the vast ocean
And the waves are calling it back."
- Where is Father now?
I miss him, he hasn't come back for a while...
- Father is high above, watching over you,
Always keeping an eye on you...
The child picks a small flower,
- This one is for you, Mother, from Father.
The child looks into the mother's eyes,
Shining with drops of morning dew.

11. Love for the Child!
Poem: Nguyễn Thị Khánh Hà
The sky didn’t give enough shape to me,
My parents abandoned me, who will care for me now?
Luckily, there is still a shared roof,
The orphanage nurtures me, offering solace and shelter.
Today, we gather around,
Beside a small meal, alleviating some of the pain.
Colorful candies and cakes,
Bringing joy, keeping sorrow at bay.
The love from the caregivers is immense,
Wrapping me in warmth and care.
Today, they visit the school,
Bringing clothes, gifts, and overflowing affection.
What beautiful charity, so kind,
Working together to share sweet love.
May I, in this fleeting life,
Live happily, surrounded by love and joy.

12. Dear Father
Poem: Dạ Vũ
I write a letter, sending my words to Dad,
At home, I still study well and behave,
In my heart, I always remember what you said:
As a sailor, I must be stronger than others.
With grades of nine and ten, I help make Mom happy,
At home, I mustn’t be lazy,
As the eldest, I must be kind to my younger siblings,
If they are well-behaved, Mom will have less work to do.
I know Dad is far away,
Mom teaches me the coordinates to locate you,
Unlike my younger sibling, who only imagines it,
The world map looks like a ball to them.
I love Dad and I love the blue sea,
It has helped me grow stronger with age.
The seas of the world change every day,
Just like the stories you tell when you come home.
We sailors are children like that,
Used to the storms since Mom carried us in her womb.
We also know that being a sailor doesn’t bring wealth,
But we endure long separations for the sake of a living.

13. Joy with My Child and the Sea
Poem: Nam Bùi
The sea gently ripples, playing with the waves,
Rocking the clouds of evening, hung on the setting sun,
Father leads the child through long steps,
With a melodious song lighting up the soul's shore.
The waves echo love, resounding through countless shores,
Laughter shared, similar to the skies of our homeland,
Innocently declaring, when I grow up,
I will do my best to sweep away the invaders.
The Paracel Islands sing the song of golden sands,
And the child's melody soars, spreading joy,
With the vast sky and the deep, endless sea,
It is a gift that deeply touches the father's heart.
Happiness feels like a dream or a fantasy,
But in the heart, a rhythm beats, rising with passion,
And I vow to merge with all desires,
For all the pride of childhood!

14. For My Childhood
Poem by: Đặng Quốc Khanh
My childhood is here
Each day drifts by indifferently
With bare feet wandering
Crushing innocence beneath
I walk through life
With a few words to leave behind
The homeland is still poor
You have not yet reached school
On a sorrowful afternoon, the sun remains
With pity and yearning
I ask you how old you are
You smile, unsure of the answer
Suddenly, my heart aches
Choked with compassion
Deep within, I hold you in my arms
In my eyes, tears well up
Words cannot express it all
With sincere feelings
I send this to all kind-hearted contributors
This place is in dire need
Of clothes and school supplies
Each person contributing a little
To build a brighter future
A lifelong endeavor
For the future of the nation.
On my journey, I encounter
Many poor children
I have met many
Across the struggling countryside
People there, I visit and leave
On International Children's Day
I express my deep concern
For the lasting beauty of blooming phoenix flowers
In the cause of "nurturing people"!

15. My Childhood
Poem by: Nam Bùi
So warm and full of love
Like when I was a little one, my mother would cradle me
On winter nights, I would lie on a mat
With her arms around me, protecting me from the cold winds
How long has it been since those days
The time when I was so small, just like it was yesterday
The mulberry tree dropped its fruits
With custard apples, persimmons, and pomelos filling my childhood
Even later, whenever I remember
I will return to those dreamy memories,
To those nights counting stars
And to the sweet lullabies my mother sang
Mother brought all the autumn's warmth,
The spring's fragrant air, and summer's fierce sun
She chased away the cold from the world
And rocked me gently to the sweet lullabies
Now, I work far away
The ringing of the church bell reminds me of home, mother!
My heart is lost in a distant land
So often confused, my heart is torn
In my homeland, I seek memories
Countless moments forever engraved in me!

16. Children Are Like Buds on a Branch
Poem by: Nguyễn Đình Hưng
(Celebrating International Children's Day)
Children born into this world
Some are blessed, while some are in pain
Like new buds sprouting on a tree
Young shoots resting at the base, unaware of their destiny
On the journey of growth and development
Branches and leaves nourish and protect
They shield and guard the young sprouts
Providing enough food and keeping the spirit at ease
Sleeping soundly in a peaceful slumber
Learning to distinguish right from wrong without bothering parents
Learning from near to far
Knowledge blooms every day, bringing wisdom
It is a long-held wish
To be obedient and talented, as Uncle Ho reminded us:
CHILDREN ARE LIKE BUDS ON A BRANCH
KNOW HOW TO EAT, SLEEP, AND STUDY WELL TO BE GOOD (*)
Note: (*) This line is excerpted from the poem “Calling Children” by Uncle Ho, written in 1941.

17. Playing at the Park on Children's Day
Collection
Today is Children's Day
Mom and I head to the park
On the Ferris wheel, the train, and the cars
Every ride is available, and every ride is full of fun
After playing, drenched in sweat
But the little one isn't tired, instead, they are joyful
Joyful because of mom and dad
Playing with them all through Children's Day.

18. Uncle Ho's Love for Children
Author: Nguyễn Ngũ
Celebrating Children's Day
Though Uncle Ho has long passed away
How I miss him deeply
Remembering his great and boundless love
He cared for the nation
Juggling many duties, yet never forgetting
To love all the young children
On Children's Day, he always gave gifts
Sending letters across the land
Encouraging all the children with so much love
Children from all over the world
Always respect Uncle Ho, following his example
On this Children's Day
Remember the five things Uncle Ho advised
Study hard and cultivate oneself
Always strive to progress without stopping.

19. Celebrating International Children's Day
Poem: Thu Sang
Celebrating International Children's Day
The future of our nation continues through the youth
Tomorrow, the world will shine in many beautiful hues
The hands of children will build our country
Today, on this special day for childhood
Young bamboo shoots reach high into the sky
No matter how storms may come
Young bamboo... tomorrow, strong and unbending
We remember the youth of Kim Đồng
Who fought for the country, just like Phù Đổng Thiên Vương
Even in the face of rain and storms
The young generation will proudly carry the red flag
The future of the homeland lies in the hands of the children
And the world tomorrow will fulfill their dreams.

20. Children
