1. Poem: AUTUMN - WITHOUT YOU - Ha Nguyen
AUTUMN - WITHOUT YOU
Ha Nguyen
Where I go, you are not there,
Only autumn with golden chrysanthemums bloom.
The winding roads pass through rocky hills,
Familiar faces become strangers in the crowd.
I want to return and rebuild our trust,
From the broken pieces of love that once slipped away.
Autumn is here, will you remember?
We met during the back-to-school season.
The sky remains blue, your eyes the same as before,
Only my heart is like the wilted chrysanthemum,
How many autumns have passed, and how could I forget?
I still remember someone who stayed awake through the long nights.
Where I go, without you, my heart is too lonely,
Lost amidst the endless fields of weeds.
I wonder, why does the autumn of old feel so far away?
I search tirelessly to find your love again.
Old memories, the rain soaking us through!

2. Poem: WRITTEN FOR MYSELF - AUGUST
WRITTEN FOR MYSELF - AUGUST
Nguyen Thi Thanh Tam
Welcome August, you've arrived at my door,
The summer sun casting its golden glow on the faded leaves,
The quiet of the night makes the world less noisy,
A light rain falls, accompanied by the gentle breeze.
August brings flowers blooming at the gates,
Petals softly fall, signaling the coming of autumn,
Purple morning glories climb the fence,
In the lonely evening, I feel distant from myself.
August comes, the city hums with more noise,
As the rhythms of the changing season take their toll.
A yellow leaf gently falls outside the window,
So, autumn has arrived once again.
August arrives with fresh joys to share,
Adding years of youth to my silvered hair.
Forty? Still full of life, brimming with energy,
I'll leave behind the days of the past.
Forty is like a deep slumber,
As I bid farewell to the sorrows held in my heart.
At forty-four, many wishes will bloom,
For myself - for the day I was born in August.

3. Poem: AUGUST GOLDEN AUTUMN - Miền Ký Ức
AUGUST GOLDEN AUTUMN
Miền Ký Ức
August arrives, bringing a golden autumn breeze,
Who poured the last rays of summer into the final rains?
Each drop heightens the memories, swaying my heart,
Without you here, I feel lost in the vastness.
Saigon's autumn evening seems more melancholic,
The small alley hides itself behind the white walls,
A cup of diluted coffee mixes with the bitterness,
The day ends, leaving behind only imbalance.
Will you return...to awaken forgotten memories?
We once promised in the years gone by,
We once loved, let's not reopen old wounds,
For one person, it has already been more than enough.
August’s autumn weaves a carpet of golden leaves,
Weaving memories into the vast, blue sky.
Together again, resting our heads, listening to the ocean sing,
Words of affection from a love woven with threads of longing.

4. Poem: AUTUMN IS... - Nguyễn Văn Ruyến
AUTUMN IS...
Nguyễn Văn Ruyến
After days of relentless sunshine,
Summer has flown back to the sky,
Leaving Autumn behind,
To spread sweet nectar for the world.
It is the gentle breeze of autumn,
Playing a silent, wordless tune,
The coolness just right,
Cradling the warmth of love in its arms.
It is the subtle fragrance of green rice,
Softly inviting, calling for attention,
The soul drifts in a quiet longing,
Hoping to find peace upon your lips.
It is the strong scent of milk flowers,
Reminding many of their distant memories,
Halfway around the world,
They still remember, never forgetting.
It is the golden hue of chrysanthemums,
Fulfilling a longing from long ago,
Calling bees and butterflies to dance,
Softly awakening a gentle, loving breeze.
It is the deep blue sky,
With floating white clouds drifting by,
The leaves flaunt their gleaming colors,
Turning the world to golden hues everywhere...

5. Poem: RETURN TO YOU - Hoa Diên Vỹ
RETURN TO YOU
Author: Hoa Diên Vỹ
Return to you the moments of the past,
In August's rain, waiting on the porch,
Someone hurriedly holding a pink umbrella,
Your long hair drenched in the autumn rain.
Return to you the foolish love letter,
The thief pretending to keep it for you,
One day, when fate brings us together,
I’ll hand you your white horse without delay.
Return to you the charming dimpled cheeks,
Who hid the brush inside the silk paper?
Your eyes, that smile as if they know,
Return to you without missing a single thing!
Return to you the trembling little heart,
That day, when you unknowingly stole it,
And that trembling lip, so shy and reserved,
Closing your eyes, sending me your first kiss.
Return to you the promise made in the rain,
I don't want to be like the Weaver Girl,
Why wait, holding my hand now?
The distant bell rings, urging us forward.
The Milky Way blooms a flower of love...

6. Poem: THE SILENT CURRENT - Huy Viễn
THE SILENT CURRENT
Huy Viễn
The old river still echoes the songs of the past,
For many days, the dock waits for a boat to cross,
The one who left that autumn day,
Leaving the heart of the waiting one filled with sorrow.
The sky mirrors the depths of the heart,
Look! Autumn’s leaves fall, dyed in the colors of longing,
The old boat once carried rosy lips and eyes,
Now it carries only the weight of sorrow over the passing days.
Where is the tangled hair, whose did it fly away with?
Where is the small shoulder, whose arms did they rest upon?
This evening, the golden sunlight drifts dreamily,
The wind is as lonely as it, not returning.
The boat is heavy with memories and confusion,
Lost in the oath that once seemed to fade away,
The old river silently flows on,
This evening, the boat drifts alone, with no one to share the journey.

7. Poem: AUGUST - Phan Thu Hà
AUGUST
Phan Thu Hà
July remains still, its rains not yet gone,
The moonlight calls, beckoning August to the door,
The red petals of the locust tree fall in a vivid cascade,
Autumn unexpectedly appears, the leaves softly sheltering.
The season silently sows itself in tangled grass,
The sunlight, like glass, gently kisses the golden flowers,
The purple twilight rushes across the horizon,
Cloud-like hair sways with the wandering wind.
Is there anyone returning to the old promises?
The bitter taste of coffee touches the weary lips,
A sudden memory of an old autumn afternoon,
Two souls drenched beneath the pouring rain.
Do you remember when autumn returned with August?
Do you recall the sweet smell of ripened green rice,
My heart fluttering, hearing the endless journey of life,
As music drifts, falling upon the pages of poetry.
Fingers press against the seasons of moonlit nights,
Clinging to the scent, silently holding the mossy memories,
Do you still sing the old tune, “Has the leaf turned yellow yet?”
And the soft whisper of a rain-kissed confession.
Phan Thu Hà

8. Poem: AUGUST - Hong Vu
AUGUST
Hong Vu
The sky swells with stormy winds,
Still holding the branches of the pink flame trees.
When rain falls and the sun is scorching,
Why does the heart ache with such heavy longing for summer?
The pond, dotted with scattered lotus blooms,
The petals embrace their golden hearts with quiet grace.
Soft as a gentle kiss upon the lips,
A fragrance of innocence fills the air.
The Milky Way sparkles brightly each night,
The swallows add their wings to build a bridge,
The Cowherd and Weaver Girl meet again,
And tears of joy fall as the rainy season begins.
Perhaps, in the fluttering of the wind,
A flash of a purple autumn dress appears.
The fading lavender may soon be gone,
But the chrysanthemums bloom, their hearts gold and full of love.
Perhaps, in the vastness of time,
The four seasons spin in an endless cycle...

9. Poem: AUGUST, THE BEAUTIFUL AUTUMN - NGUYỄN CAO CẦM
AUGUST, THE BEAUTIFUL AUTUMN
Author: NGUYỄN CAO CẦM
August arrives with cool, refreshing air,
The trees and flowers gently sway,
The wind whispers softly through the leaves,
As the evening quickly fades into a peaceful night.
Autumn becomes even more enchanting,
The golden sunlight dries the space around,
The morning gleams with a thousand bright rays,
And the falling rain softly fills the hearts of all.
August comes with a sky painted in rosy clouds,
The waters are so beautifully green,
The landscape stretches endlessly,
Vietnam’s homeland is vibrant and lush, a scene of endless beauty.
August brings cool, soothing skies,
Flowers bloom, releasing their sweet scents,
The air is thick with enchanting allure,
And the earth is calm, like a heavenly paradise.
The morning sun bathes the sky in a golden glow,
Kiều’s scent lingers in the air,
As the sunset casts a purple hue,
The shimmering water reflects the beauty of the world.
Under the clear moonlight, we stroll,
Hands intertwined, wandering through the streets,
My silk-covered shoulder, your laughter bright,
The smell of fresh rice cakes fills the air, inviting and sweet.
August brings the fragrance of milk flowers,
Its scent wafting gently through the evening breeze,
On this autumn day, the young girl sighs,
Admiring Kiều, her graceful figure stunning and captivating.
August comes with so many wonderful things,
Joy fills the heart, thoughts are pure and clear,
In harmony with the vast, eternal universe,
Harvesting dreams of wealth and prosperity.

10. Poem: THE DEAD AUTUMN - Lan Vương
THE DEAD AUTUMN
Lan Vương
Summer wandered off, leaving autumn golden and deep,
The streets embrace the season with thick layers of clouds,
The longing for you fills each beat of my heart,
Even the grass and trees seem to miss you, my love.
Autumn has arrived, with every breath filled with its presence,
But why does our love feel so fragile and broken,
Like the memory of a longing, a sky heavy with rain,
Sending its tears to the old places we once knew.
What is enough to give and receive?
One side is warm, the other cold with loneliness,
I do not blame you, yet my heart feels bitter,
For perhaps a single tear, once shed, remains forever.
Life is like a storm, carrying heavy burdens,
We bury our dreams, raising children as best we can,
The longing for you drags on through the years,
Autumn dies as the unripe fruits begin to appear.

11. Poem: AUTUMN COMES - Nghi Lâm
AUTUMN ARRIVES
Poem by: Nghi Lâm
Autumn arrives, bringing with it dreams and wishes,
To grace your life with elegance and innocence,
Your beauty shines, a divine figure,
Making my heart flutter with longing that never ends.
Flowers bloom in a dazzling array,
Chrysanthemums, orchids, roses, and lilies glisten in the light,
Your smile radiates, brighter than dawn itself,
As the autumn breeze gently caresses your slender form.
I gaze at your hair, falling softly on your shoulder,
Wishing that tomorrow, we walk the same path together,
With autumn here, the longing only deepens,
As the scent of milk flowers stirs my soul.
Watching couples walking side by side,
Wrapped in tenderness, sharing the sweet fragrance of love,
My heart grows fonder of you,
As the rain of autumn falls softly in the approaching evening.
Tonight, I will surely dream a dream,
WHERE WE ARE TOGETHER, SHARING OUR LOVE!

12. Poem: THE FEELINGS OF AUTUMN - Trương Túy Anh
THE FEELINGS OF AUTUMN
Poem by Trương Túy Anh
Autumn comes, and the leaves fall,
Whirling in the breeze, drifting away from the branches,
The sky is clear, with blue clouds above,
And the light autumn breeze whispers through the open window.
My heart stirs with memories of autumns past,
When we walked side by side, coming and going,
The golden mustard fields lining the riverbanks,
The sweet fragrance of fresh green rice in the countryside.
Behind the garden, chrysanthemums bloom beautifully,
In a hundred colors, reflecting the depth of our love,
We once thought we'd build a life together,
But fate had other plans, leaving us far apart...
As autumn returns, I am lost in thought,
Grieving silently as unexpected feelings rise,
The love we once shared in our youth,
Still lingers, even as autumn draws to a close.
Counting each leaf, turning red and gold,
Sending with them a thousand feelings of love,
The change of seasons stirs a gentle longing,
For the simple moments of life, my dear...

13. Poem: SENDING MEMORIES OF AUGUST IN THE MOUNTAIN RANGE - Trang Thanh Xuân
SENDING MEMORIES OF AUGUST IN THE MOUNTAIN RANGE
Poem by: Trang Thanh Xuân
August returns, and I can’t help but think of you,
How long until we can fulfill our shared dreams?
In this life, who truly knows what awaits us,
Which path will lead to the promise we once made?
August comes, and still, the poem remains unfinished,
The days of reunion seem to never come, is that true?
I silently cradle the weight of this longing,
Love so deep, yet separated by the vast distance.
August arrives, bringing with it the autumn breeze,
The cold air cuts sharply, and fate feels cruel,
Do you remember the vows we exchanged,
As the Mua flowers bloomed along the hillside?
August comes, forever yours and mine,
Letters hastily written, my heart full of love, my dear,
The rains of the Highland call your name,
At the end, our century-long dream is woven together in a passionate gaze.
August returns... The river's surface reflects
A sweet dream, held together by faith and hope...

14. Poem
AUTUMN ARRIVES
By Hoa Lư
Who took the sunlight, leaving the sky so pale this afternoon?
Autumn stands at the door, softly singing its melody.
The gentle breeze drifts, sweeping through distant streets,
You and Autumn together, glowing in vibrant colors.
Autumn has arrived! The quiet evening turns golden,
Though Summer is gone, it still lingers in the heart,
Where does Summer go as shadows grow long?
Autumn takes its place, gazing with fondness.
Each falling leaf dances beneath your steps,
The wind stirs, whispering from afar,
A fleeting kiss brushes past us,
As the sunset lazily sinks behind the hills.
The chrysanthemums of autumn no longer rush to bloom,
Instead, Jasmine fills the air with its sweet fragrance each night.
The first moon rises, soft like a silken ribbon,
And gently lulls our eyes to rest in peaceful dreams.
The golden light of autumn stirs every breath we take,
A hint of purity in the first blooms of the season.
The soul drifts through the chilly night, lost in dreams,
Seeking hope and stepping toward a place of happiness.

15. Poem: AUGUST, THE AUTUMN SEASON - Đào Mạnh Thạnh
AUGUST, THE AUTUMN SEASON
By Đào Mạnh Thạnh
Who gathered the leaves... to bring golden autumn in August?
The dry breeze and the sun turn the pomelo fruits yellow.
Summer has passed, the leaves fall to welcome the new season.
Autumn is just beginning... the sun still seems to remember.
An afternoon rain signals the arrival of autumn on the day we meet,
Yellow leaves fall, shyly caught by the monsoon season.
The old street corner still holds the memory of our first love,
Now quietly fading as the rain drifts down the path.
I walk alone, barefoot, lost in thought,
Thinking of the moss-covered path leading to the autumn embrace.
The afternoon rain veils the way, chilling my heart with memories,
Yet the yearning flame of passion still burns strong.
I move quietly, lost in dreams and nostalgia,
My heart swells with the emotions of those early days.
Autumn has arrived, but the old land we cherished is now gone.
Now, apart, I am left with only loneliness and regret.
Oh, my love, how many autumns have passed, waiting eagerly.
Now, separated, I yearn for that first kiss.
August returns, aching, as the monsoon season touches my heart.
So much longing... the sorrow of autumn is deeply felt...

16. Poem: AUTUMN GARDEN - Nguyên Đức
AUTUMN GARDEN
By Nguyên Đức
I met you on an afternoon with white clouds floating,
The autumn wind softly caressed your delicate form.
I thought you were the spirit of the breeze,
So we walked hand in hand, swaying gently together.
The warm autumn sun warmed not only the sky,
But also my heart, leaving a few rays to dry your hair.
Your eyes weaved a love story that guided our dreams,
Like a river of affection that will never run dry.
You gazed into my eyes for a long time,
Saying that's where love began.
Did you see something in my gaze?
A flood of loyalty that rushed like an endless river.
Then one day, we found each other,
Your parents came with betel leaves to unite us.
They matched us as husband and wife,
And happiness was born, like it was meant to be.
Our love grew deeper with the child we had,
Who you taught to cherish a pure heart.
With eyes as beautiful as yours,
Our child carries your innocence, just like you.
Poem by Nguyên Đức, August 9, 2019.

17. Poem: FALLING AUTUMN - Phạm Tân Dân
FALLING AUTUMN
By Phạm Tân Dân
He came back to mend the autumn afternoon,
The golden chrysanthemums line the path, the mist clinging to the branches.
The curtains fall halfway, catching the breeze,
Beside you, a drop of longing; beside me, a tear of sorrow.
Autumn falls, the rice heads bow heavy with grain,
Some seeds scattered in the field, others deep in the basket.
The yellow leaves are strewn by an unseen hand,
The green branches sway in the wind, floating and twirling.
When the towel dries in the sun, thoughts drift,
The thunder is silent, and the surface of the pond is clear.
The autumn breeze whispers, caressing the air,
The water hyacinths float by, no longer struggling to row against the tide.

18. Poem: AUTUMN REFLECTION - Hoàng Chẩm
AUTUMN REFLECTION
By Hoàng Chẩm
***
The autumn breeze whispers cool... in the middle of the day,
Forgetting the scent of jasmine that once faded.
Last autumn, you seemed distant and pale,
The leaves drifted, and your presence slowly returned.
***
But you, autumn, have not yet departed,
The cool breeze pours strangely into us.
Your autumn, a misty memory,
My autumn, holding on to a fading afternoon of love.
***
Listening to the season, gathering the fallen leaves of pain,
A breath so light, it withers the cloudy hair.
Last autumn emptied out all debts,
Going against the flow of dreams, carrying my solitude.
***
Endlessly, memories are rekindled,
Following the new season, bringing us closer.
Autumn comes, hair tangled, pain echoes,
Some affection remains in the fading color of your eyes.
Autumn returns, and the waters split in two,
The hand tilts, pushing away the fading figure.
The debts are paid, lost in the mists,
Surprised by the passing of time, the heart filled with memories.
Half... of autumn dies by the river,
The other half... hides its face with the dawn.

19. Poem: GREEN AUTUMN - Lê Mỹ Hường
GREEN AUTUMN
By Lê Mỹ Hường
The season tilts over the street this afternoon,
The sunlight spills faintly, coloring the strands of hair.
Golden leaves fall softly, carrying dreams far away,
Wavering memories that never seem to soothe.
Autumn arrives... what does it say to you?
The sun runs away, leaving summer in a daze of regret.
A shower pours, soaking time in haste,
The coffee drips, each drop a little sorrow.
You left me that autumn day, with sadness lingering,
The scent of jasmine hesitates, still not fully blooming.
And so we parted gently,
Our embrace, a whispered farewell.
"Will you remember me when autumn comes again?"
Our August, you called it the green autumn,
A season of ripening fruit, yet our love never fully bloomed.
Though we know that nothing in life is permanent,
The feeling stirs within me each time autumn returns...
For me, that autumn now remains a gentle memory.

20. Poem: SINGING FOR THE OLD AUTUMN - Lê Gia Hoài
SINGING FOR THE OLD AUTUMN
By Lê Gia Hoài
Do you see it?
Autumn in the eyes of the leaves.
The streets tilt in the afternoon,
Petals scatter, drifting in the yellow breeze.
The brown rooftops catch the sun, casting shadows over the town,
So many afternoons we promised, but you never came.
Autumn, innocent and pure,
Your eyes catch the color of the sun,
The cool breeze blankets the dreams we once shared.
Look at the fallen leaves,
Which bird wandered off course?
Leaving someone with an empty heart, lost in a forgotten paradise.
Autumn is so clear,
Your soul pure and untarnished.
The chrysanthemums hang their heads, wet from the evening rain.
I stand silent,
Counting the last drops of rain from the summer days,
And releasing my sorrow into the lonesome month of August.
The street is too long,
The scent of jasmine lingers faintly,
The green autumn stretches, endless in its wait,
Your eyes searching from across the river,
Who sits there, longing for the old summer?
While I wander, lost in a dream of the past.
