1. April Sunshine
Source: Collected
April arrives, and the mountains and forests turn green once more, with the scent of grass and trees lingering in the air. The red blossoms of the royal poinciana brighten the streets, and I once again find the scene so unfamiliar yet strangely beautiful.
My heart wonders, why does it ache with such longing? The April sun seems to embrace all my melancholy. Is there anyone who understands these silent, yearning emotions? The memories from the past quietly await their due return.
For years, each April has brought back the same nostalgia. A person far away, yet their presence is felt deeply. The sunshine on the branches seems to urge the arrival of the exam season, and once again, I send my unspoken love with the wind.
The fragrance of flowers fills the air, sweet and intoxicating, drifting in the direction of my longing. Like a love poem, so tender and full, I will always love you, my dear.

2. Remembering April's Blossoms
Poem by: Đào Mạnh Thạnh
April comes, bringing the warmth of the sun, revealing pure white blossoms. The air is thick with their fragrance, carried by the breeze that follows the golden sunlight.
There, a figure moves gently among the blooming flowers, their smile bright and radiant, leaving the flowers in awe of their beauty.
April returns once again, filling the air with longing. What secrets do the flowers hide? Do they understand the depths of my heart?
A soft breeze whispers, as the years pass by, the pure, white blooms fade in the dimming light of distant sunshine.
Oh... the golden sun, full of longing, brings me back to the past, where the passing years still hold the weight of the flowers' memory.

3. Oh, April Has Arrived
Author: Hoàng Chẩm
I share with you a season of white lilies, as summer gently arrives, bringing with it the red of waiting eyes. How deeply I miss you each night, longing for our love to last forever, even as the late-night lamp flickers.
You may have changed, but my affection for you remains ever fresh, like a rose soaring through the air. Your lips, once full, have weathered the storms of time, yet they still hold the charm of youthful bliss.
I offer you an April filled with sweet fragrances, where the dew of the night melts away softly, caught in the delicate sway of the breeze. In the quiet corners, love lingers as we share this moment, marking it with the pink of our love.
A touch of fading pink seems to cradle the remainder of our lives. Halfway through, it’s never too late. Our love, still new, blooms like the evening sun. Far off, in that distant place, your love shines with brilliant clarity.

4. Returning to April
Poem by: Lan Vương
April arrives, and with it, the faintest sign of summer's green. The small alley hesitates to echo the whisper of the wind. A few rays of sunlight linger, unspoken, while the fragrance of lilies fills the air, damp with emotion.
Spring has passed, making way for the early summer. Yet, those left behind quickly forget the pangs of longing, walking hurriedly through the rush of life, unaware of April’s quiet entrance.
Yes, the old moss fades, and clouds drift lazily down into the streets. The purple flowers of the Lagerstroemia timidly begin to bloom, and the fading light of afternoon nurtures the pure memories of the past.
Do you know, my love, the old season has passed? My heart still trembles with memories of the summer sun. Your slight figure, with the frail wisps of your hair, remains in my thoughts. I miss you... as if I carry all of April’s fallen leaves within me.

6. Writing for the Season of Lilies
Author: Phan Thu Hà
We step into April
Confused, remembering the season of lilies filling the streets
The vibrant white lilies bloom, unfurling their pure petals
While the April Fools' Day slips away unnoticed
Light spring rain falls on the city
Wet eyes, wet lives caught in turmoil
Pity those who haven’t had a moment of rest
Fighting the pandemic as though it's a foreign invasion
The Lily season reminds us of the past
The white ao dai fluttering like the budding flowers
The flower vendors pass, leaving behind a fragrance in the streets
The scent lingers in dreams
In this season, April is heavy with longing
The streets are empty, do the flower vendors still pass through?
Will anyone return down this narrow alley
To hear a message of love from me?

7. A Love Song for You
Poet: Hương Mrs-Lê
I sing you a love song for April
My heart already burning with the summer's heat
Spring is still here, yet my heart yearns so deeply
Still as passionate as when we were together
April arrives, where has the wild mimosa gone?
The lilies remain pure, untouched
The evening rain stirs deep longing
Whose footsteps wander far away...?
Will you return to serenade our love song?
Even if spring fades, the bond remains strong through time
A trace of old scent in a romantic embrace
Waiting, lips poised, for April to arrive.

8. The Longing of April
Poet: Phạm Thị Hồng Thu
April has arrived, but summer still lingers
The cold winds still sweep through the streets
Perhaps she pities her husband who forgets her
The sun dances playfully in distant places
April brings the pristine lilies
Waiting for someone, they remain pure and untarnished
Still as white as they were, making hearts yearn
For the days of innocence, too shy to confess love
April no longer lingers carelessly
Now, after school, we wander, waiting for summer
While others pause in unfamiliar streets
Does anyone notice the fragrant lilies?
April once held us close, hand in hand
Not wanting to say goodbye to summer
Like the lilies, deeply in love with April
Flowers understand the heart, reluctant to let go
Lilies, oh lilies! Those carefree days
Now, only regret deepens that longing
Who dreams of the pure love of flowers
Only to let it slip away, leaving behind a painful ache...

9. The Blossoms of the Changing Seasons...
Poet: Trần Hải Lộc
Opening the door to April, the winds bring the scent
The petals of the Loc Vung tree flutter in vibrant red and pink
The April sky bears your smiling face
Radiating with the soft glow of pale azalea blossoms
The streets of April are flooded with the beauty of lilies
You, graceful and pure, are like a delicate work of art
Your elegance stirs my heart, leaving me breathless
Admiring such a perfect flower amidst this world
I remember Saigon... the yellow Scorpion flowers swaying
Lost in the hazy sunshine of the early season
Beautiful, enchanting... My love, I vow to you
Let’s meet again in May, for our reunion
Summer brings the sudden downpour
Washing clean the tiny petals of the Rose Apple flower
April from years ago still echoes the whispers
Of the wild plum trees – calling to the one who left...

10. A Reflection in April
Poet: Thanh Tùng
April arrives, and summer wanders aimlessly
Leaving behind a longing that circles without direction
The evening rain falls, silent and filled with sorrow
Bringing with it the sadness of a promise unkept
April comes, and with it, many broken promises
As the wind seems to speak of what remains unsaid
All the regrets gathered in the scent of pomelo flowers
Sent to someone, as a reminder of the past
April comes, and I vow with betel and areca nuts
To walk together until the end, side by side
Not blaming fate for the beginning or end of love
Only burdened by the wish to forget the pain
April returns, and once again, we will be together
Walking across the ancient bridge of time
Letting go of the old sorrows we once knew
Listening to the weight of a promise as we part ways
April comes, bidding farewell to a passing season
All the emotions are captured in the morning light
The smile of the one I chose
Fills my heart with warmth, mingled with joy and sorrow
April arrives, leaving behind unspoken words
The Loc Vung tree blooms in shades of hope
The white lilies open beautifully under the sun
The fragrant Rose Apple flowers showcase dreams anew
Together, the Ban and Gato flowers weave their strings
All the memories of youth’s naive days
We thought it was all in vain, as if lost
But I send these feelings to my love, never to fade

11. Lost Love
Poet: Sơn Nữ
I return to gather the old Lagerstroemia petals
Purple and faithful, like the love of a past time
Along the road, the Gato flowers fall in sadness
The cuckoo’s song calls out, echoing far away
The Magnolia blooms beside the doorstep
Its fragrance from a past season, but you turned away
The boat of love has three passengers, lost at sea
Two have drifted far from the shore, the third remains unseen
Pure white, waiting for countless lifetimes
The bright yellow stamens dream of a fleeting love
The lilies bear the burden of sorrow
April arrives, changing its attire, as I bear the weight of unfulfilled fate

12. April... The Colors of Longing
Poet: Nguyễn Hưng
April arrives... The hues of flowers stir memories
They come to me, though they feel so distant
In the days of dreams, with love by my side
Full of ambitions and promises made long ago
The white lilies weave together
Reminding me of longing, with the sun gently rising
The simple moments of transition, filled with passion
The little street, where the rain weakens my nostalgia
The purple Jacaranda blossoms in bright clusters
Deep violet, blossoming gently with devotion
Who carries the first love, that fleeting affection?
In the quiet corner, my soul searches for lost memories
The fragile Bougainvillea still decorates the world
The wind shakes its petals, moving my heart with youthful folly
Just like our love, forever offering itself, lost and aimless
The moment of indifference, caught in regret
The swallows hurry, carrying Spring away
Bringing with them the call of the cicadas
Love’s words still linger, faintly, in the pure light
The colors of memory remain, lingering in a bittersweet haze

13. April and the Longing
Poet: Nga Vũ
April arrives, and the longing feels endless
The flowers bloom again, waiting through the white afternoon
I'm lost, unsure where to find the love that's so distant
Chasing the fleeting season – endlessly longing for one more bloom
The street hesitates, the smoke from cigarettes drifts by
All I can hold onto is the scent of days gone by
In my heart, love lingers, swept up in a dream
Could it be that, yes, one day, I will be far away?
April is here, but I remain unchanged
The same sorrow lingers in the silence
Still waiting for you with a branch of white flowers
Hoping for one more taste of the season of love
I continue to wait for an April
Filled with solitude...
My love,

14. The First Sun of the Season
Poet: Nga Lê
The phoenix silently holds its buds
Waiting for May to arrive, when the flowers will bloom in full glory
The trumpet flowers, proud and blooming, signal the arrival of summer
White as the uniforms of students in the classroom.
April weaves sunshine into verses of poetry
The flowers of the white Sưa tree fall, drifting across the path
The purple flowers of the xoan tree sway, hesitant to bloom
Softly falling as spring fades away.
Summer gently arrives, awakening from a dream
The cold winds of Bân still linger, reluctant to leave
Your knitted sweater is just in time
Does it still feel cold in the borderlands, my dear?
I love you so much that I also cherish Bân
Holding on to winter as your sweater takes its time to finish
This sweater, a token of my love for you
Sent with the heart of a wife so far away.
The Lagerstroemia trees are blooming this season
Their purple color, forever your favorite
I hope this April, you’ll be here with me
Together, under the first rays of summer’s sun.

15. Entering Summer
Poet: Hoàng Trọng Lợi
As spring fades away and summer approaches
The air becomes lively, full of vibrant energy
The Lagerstroemia tree waves, its buds tempting the bees
The flamboyant flowers bloom, inviting butterflies to hover nearby
The schoolyard is drenched in color, always a sight to behold
The scent fills the classroom, keeping everyone entranced
The bell rings, yet the students are lost in their daydreams
The joy of the season spills over in all directions.

16. Anthem
Poet: Hương Giang
As April arrives, the trumpet flowers bloom far and wide
With a fragrance both rich and fragile, almost like a dream
Each soft white petal gently emerges between the leaves
Like a shy whisper of love's first confession...
April is here, but how much will it hold?
The summer rain flickers, fleeting and lonely
Then suddenly, the sky bursts open with sunlight
Alive, racing, as our hearts beat in sync.
We listen intently to the sweet sound of a bird
In the air, it feels so pure and fresh!
Our eyes meet, saying everything words cannot
April arrives, and in that moment... it is April.
There was a time my heart silently wondered, what if
The winter winds still made the air so cold?
I wished for a sparkling April, full of light
To return, warm and tender, as it once was...
April comes, bringing warmth and flowers
The white trumpet flowers now glow with purity
And love rises within, fierce and unwavering
As earth and sky unite in a song of joy!

17. Vibrant Colors
Author: Duong Quoc Nam
SUMMER arrived just in time to bid farewell to spring,
Returning to familiar places, I stand still in the falling rain.
PHOENIX flowers bloom in vibrant hues,
Igniting the land and sky of my homeland.
To be together, our hearts are at peace,
The path of flowers sways with fleeting moments.
CICADAS sing in a delicate rhythm,
As the song echoes for those far away.
A melody of summer fills the air,
Singing a tune that captivates and lifts the soul.
"SADNESS fills up as the shaking deepens,"
Lingering memories of love that fades away.
It brings back golden memories of the past,
LOVE endures, growing stronger with affection.
SUMMER RETURNS, PHOENIX BLOOMS ON THE ROAD,
CICADAS SING, THE SONG OF SADNESS EVOKES LOVE.

18. Glimmering Lily
Poem: Nguyen Thi Hong Hanh
April shines bright with golden sun,
The white lilies gently bloom, their petals soft.
The faint fragrance drifts, reaching far away,
Carried by the breeze, it dances with the mist.
April lingers, leaving behind sweet memories,
The lilies take to the streets, filling the air with fragrance.
Reluctantly, I pause by the roadside,
Admiring the flowers, thinking of a loved one who promised to return.
April holds the weight of a vow,
The day the lilies bloom, we will be together.
April marks the first love so true,
The white lily, a symbol of purity and devotion.
April deepens the love we share,
As beautiful as the sparkling white lilies.
April, I will never forget,
Our love, steadfast and true, forever in my heart.

19. The Confessions of Summer Flowers
Poem: Tony Bui
Love for the summer days...
When countless flowers bloom,
The white lilies shine brightly in the morning sun,
The purple orchids flaunt their regal color,
The gardenia’s sweet scent fills the air.
When summer comes...
My heart longs and yearns,
A love song filled with tender longing,
The vibrant phoenix flowers paint the words of beauty,
The Morning Glory buds, their truth eternal.
Love for the summer days...
When the poet’s soul is reborn,
The swan’s dream of love remains shy,
Still enchanted by the beauty of Lady Kieu,
As the purple Lagerstroemia mirrors the love of Kim Trong.
When summer arrives...
My heart beats with excitement,
The moment of change builds dreams of fate,
I love you and promise to stay true,
Forever together, our hearts always happy.

20. April Has Arrived
Poem: Minh Triết
April is here, do you remember, my love?
The purple flowers by the road have bloomed
It was the first time we met, my heart was shy
We sat together, picking up fallen petals
April arrives, the sun paints everything golden
The winds shift, the first thunderstorm of summer
The familiar street now feels strange
The purple haze fills every corner, sweet and fragrant
April brings with it stories of love
The red phoenix flowers bloom brightly at school
I press fresh blossoms into the pages of my notebook
Our youth, full of dreams and hope for the exam
April arrives, bringing a tinge of sorrow
The cicadas hum, the summer heat begins
Under the old phoenix tree, memories linger
We share our emotions, deep and overflowing
April, the elegant trumpet lilies bloom
Pure as a white ao dai, delicate and graceful
Every evening, I pass your house, the light fades
The summer feels quiet, yet full of flowers
The lilies carry a beauty, so proud and noble
Old memories are slowly fading away
We say goodbye to the first love, romantic and bittersweet
And I am left with the echoes of that longing
April arrives, and my heart feels adrift...

21. The Shadow of the Wild Sunflower
Poem: Phan Duong
The room, a few meters in size
Seems to grow wider each passing day
Time slips by, unnoticed
The stairs feel steeper, as if they’ve stretched
As I walk, my steps grow hesitant
The moss whispers of a forgotten youth
I am bound to this city, but yearn for the village
At times, empty; at times, overwhelmed
Like a river longing for the boat's return
Life is both about giving and receiving
I remember nights under the canopy of the forest
Now my eyes well up with tears when I’m alone
I remember comrades who sacrificed their lives
Shared pain and love, now lost in time...
Years have surely passed enough
To see the wear on my aging head
The nights flicker with wakefulness, the days are dreams
How many of the friends of old remain?
Time has surely allowed me to understand
And the weight I carry is clear to my heart
The stairs, though worn, I still climb
A single shadow of a wild sunflower in the distance.

22. The Season of Remembrance Flowers
Poem: Thùy Dương
The petals bend gracefully, falling gently
Pure white with golden stamens
Softly swaying, lost in a dreamy haze
The trumpet lily, proud and elegant like a noble lady!
It hums to the soul of a young girl in love with flowers
April, with its soft sunlight spilling over my hands
The breeze caresses my hair, lifting it high
Inviting dreams of passion to bloom with the season!
I lower my head, lost in quiet thought
In the hands of a traveler, as if they’ve just passed by
Bewildered by the scent, pure and innocent
The season of flowers, full of tender memories...

23. The Smile of April
Poem: Thùy Dương
You hold April in your hands
With a radiant smile upon your lips
As the season changes, flowers bloom in competition
Pure white… the flowers eagerly enter their season!
The trumpet lilies, with their poetic beauty
Sway gently, their heads bowed in charm
The shy flowers in the hands of a young girl
Add to her grace, every delicate detail!
Your eyes, full of laughter, bring summer early
The southern breeze lifts your tangled hair
Perhaps the flowers confess their love
They’ve fallen for you, and no one can blame them!
April arrives with its first showers
Dark clouds in the sky flash with lightning
The rice stalks bow under the weight of their grains
Thunder rumbles, the storm breaks with heavy rain!
The smile of April is full of yearning love
The white flowers evoke feelings of nostalgia
You and the flowers, forever graceful
Still pure, glowing brightly with the essence of April!

24. April
Author: Phạm Hòa
April arrives, and I can't forget
The memories fill me with longing
I marched off to enlist, to fight in the war
At eighteen or twenty, we went to battle
For the South, to unify our country
We left in the season of bright red cotton flowers
The purple myrtle by the roadside bloomed in competition
Chrysanthemums blossomed, bidding farewell to a friend
Pomelo blossoms, sweet, you handed me memories
And their fragrance lingers, ever tied to you.

25. The Trumpet Flowers on the Streets
Author: Tình Thơ
The pure white flowers, delicate and gentle, as you step onto the street
The changing season awaits the arrival of summer
April's sun, jealous of the blooming flowers
Yet silent in their fragrance, unlike the sweet-scented asters
All around the small streets, flowers flaunt their colors and spread their fragrance
The flowers are as graceful as a Hanoi girl
April comes, and you share with me the story
Of the white flowers, pure and tender
Carrying within them a love that is faithful and everlasting.
