1. Poem: SWEET HAPPINESS - Hoa Diên Vỹ
SWEET HAPPINESS
Poem by Hoa Diên Vỹ
Feeling nostalgic in December's embrace
The mustard flowers make my heart swoon.
The chilly breeze deepens the emotions
We draw closer in long, warm hugs.
Follow me and listen to the morning sun's call
The empty yard hums with sparrows' chatter.
With hands full of ripe starfruit clusters
We wait for someone to bring salt to enjoy together.
Mother hurries to dry the velvet blanket
Afraid the sudden cold will catch us off guard.
Father, unchanged, still suffers from aching joints
In December, the pain grows sharper.
You tidy up the house, repainting the walls
The old plaster now stained and worn.
Older sister jokes, "This year we'll have a feast
Uncle's well-behaved, that lady's so gentle."
I shyly retreat to the porch
Sweet happiness lingers in the simple words.
The heart, so pure, whispers softly
"Don't hesitate, girl, accept his proposal!"

2. Poem: WINTER ARRIVES - Phan Hoàng
WINTER ARRIVES
Poem by Phan Hoàng
This morning, winter arrived at the door
Outside, dry leaves rustle in the yard
You wrap yourself in a coat and head to the market
Your hat tilts, shielding you from the wind
Thinking of the flooded countryside
Where homes are washed away, fields submerged
Clothes and food are scarce
What can protect them from the winter chill?
Thinking of the borderlands and islands
Where snow falls thickly in the winter
Many soldiers, day and night
Stand guard in the freezing cold
And in other corners of the land
So many children, the elderly
Seek shelter in the corners of markets or doorways
Hoping to survive the long, cold night
Winter, bare and withered like willow trees
Bends as the north wind blows through
Awaiting the arrival of spring
When the warmth and flowers bloom!

3. Poem: WINTER LOVE - Hoàng Hôn
WINTER LOVE
Poem by Hoàng Hôn
Early Winter... with the cool, gentle breeze
Whispers across the sleeves of coats each afternoon
The wind sways by the doorstep
We wrap ourselves in warmth, making quiet wishes
Oh, my love, I have given my heart
As winter turns away, the sorrow of autumn lingers
Clinging to the falling raindrops
Startled to realize the wind has entered my soul
The cold calms the restless sleep
As I watch the moon, searching for your shadow
Pulling back the clouds, weaving the night
Oh, dearest companion, this long night is full of yearning
For a hundred years, we’ve pledged our paths together
So please, don’t let your lips taste the pain
With betel and areca nut, sweet and red
The words of love will still burn brightly, even after a thousand years
Outside, the world turns to winter
I send my love, woven with threads of longing
Though winter arrives, love remains sweet
Endless desires and emotions stir in the colors of love...

4. Poem: WINTER'S LONGING - Phan Thị Tuyết Vân
WINTER'S LONGING
Poem by Phan Thị Tuyết Vân
Do you remember, my love, the memories now past?
Your hands held mine, so soft yet cold.
The winter wind made your delicate shoulders shiver.
You clumsily leaned in for a kiss, our lips meeting.
Winter has arrived, bringing with it an endless longing.
My heart beats faster, excited and full of hope.
Yet, the words of love remain, passionate and warm.
They are faint but rich with the sweetness of desire.
So many memories we shared throughout the days,
I want to send you a thousand memories of love.
The intoxicating warmth of each breath,
Filling me, even though we are far apart.
Winter has arrived, and the sunlight fades softly.
I want to be by your side beneath the evening's purple skies.
I want you to kiss my sweet lips.
Winter, so sweet...
May we always be together...!!!

5. Poem: THE FRAGILE PILLOW - Hồng Soi
THE FRAGILE PILLOW
Author: Hồng Soi
As winter begins, I put on a warm coat and listen to you,
Mother's advice still echoes in my memories.
Throughout her life, she worked tirelessly,
Taking care of me from childhood until now!
The winter night brings the sound of lullabies,
The thatched roof can't shield us from the cold wind.
Mother holds me close, afraid the chill will wake me.
She gives me the worn blanket, saving it for me!
Countless winters have passed, but mother never slept peacefully,
Her youth gradually fading with the years.
When she speaks of it, I choke on my emotions.
Mother was pregnant... while father was nowhere to be found!
Her blood, our bond, formed the moment we met,
And bore fruit that cold winter long ago.
Even now, she lives alone,
Day after day... on a fragile pillow!

6. Poem: WINTER'S COAT - Nguyễn Nguyệt Anh
WINTER'S COAT
Poem by Nguyễn Nguyệt Anh
I weave each delicate thread of shining sunlight
Into a coat to keep you warm in the cold.
Winter arrives, with snow falling outside the grand hall,
Watching the tree, feeling its sorrow as time passes.
Oh clouds, send this gift for me,
Take it to the one I miss, far away.
Deliver my message that after thousands of years, my love remains the same,
My sincere heart nurtures a song of victory.
Thinking of someone, love deepens and stays strong,
Happiness flows in rhythm with every breath.
A day apart feels like a thousand years of longing,
In the quiet night, restless, counting the moments.
The cold wind dares not approach,
It hesitates, not willing to blow,
Because the winter coat is tightly woven,
Binding the lives of those walking together on the same path.

7. Poem: WINTER SEASON, MISSING YOU - Ánh Tuyết
WINTER SEASON, MISSING YOU
Poem by Ánh Tuyết
The late autumn sky is here, do you know?
The chilly winds start blowing, heralding winter.
A lonely figure by the window,
Feeling a pang of longing deep in the heart.
It’s been many winters since you left,
The little room remains quiet, with tears flowing.
Restless dreams from those nights past,
Filling the sky with clouds in the cold of night.
By the old riverbank, I stand and wait,
Waiting for the old boat to dock at the dream’s shore.
Footsteps of someone on the leaf-covered floor,
The sound of dry branches swaying in the fading sunlight.
Who has gone far away to a distant land?
Leaving behind the cold winter in their heart.
Silently bearing the sorrow of solitude,
Winter has come, do you know?

8. Poem: WAITING, LONGING - Nguyễn Đình Cường
WAITING, LONGING
Poem by Nguyễn Đình Cường
At night,
I hear the sound
of leaves being gathered,
In the morning,
the curtains stir
as the cold pulls winter in.
The evening sky
turns a dry purple hue,
As night falls,
the coldness brings
a lonely presence to the room.
At the start of winter,
I have been waiting and longing.
Who will light the fire,
the warmth of a heart for me...?!

9. Poem: HANOI IN WINTER - Trịnh Thanh Hằng
HANOI IN WINTER
Poem by Trịnh Thanh Hằng
The chrysanthemums are blooming
signaling that Hanoi has entered winter.
Clutching my hand, we head to the Red River,
To the Stone Beach, to relive the old love season.
The metal boat sways sadly,
Resenting the river, with water not enough to fill,
Restlessly stuck on the sandbank here,
On the Middle Beach, where the river bends.
Come and listen to the passionate breath,
The wind of Hoan Kiem Lake gently stirs desires,
The Leaning Tower still carries a hint of chill,
The light rain whispers that winter has arrived.
In Hanoi, I will take you to taste
The authentic Luong Van Can's sticky rice cakes,
Not worried about the rain, the icy wind,
The warmth of breath by the roasted corn stove.
Just by imagining the crispy pillow cake,
Its fragrant warmth fills the entire winter.
I miss you so much, will you come back?
We’ll stroll the streets, savoring the hot snail pot.
The church bells seem to be waiting,
On Christmas Eve, the lovers step gently,
Kneeling together, wishing for eternal life,
In the warmth of winter, we stay forever.
Oh, that person far away, longing
Will you return to Hanoi with me?
So the feeling of uncertainty will turn to deep love,
We will be happy in Hanoi's winter sky.
Poem by Trịnh Thanh Hằng

10. Poem: WINTER COMES - Que Gai
WINTER COMES
Poem by Que Gai
Winter has arrived, my love, do you know?
My heart is chilled, with space still left to grow.
Dreams filled with hope, my wishes overflow,
Your image forever resides in my soul.
I wait for your return, to calm my longing heart,
In your warm embrace, never to drift apart.
Waves rise up as our love burns bright and strong,
The sweet taste of your kiss, where I belong.
Gazing for you, tears glisten in my eyes,
The cold wind enters through the small window, as time flies.
The white milkweed flowers fall at the gate,
The green sea glows beneath the moon’s light late.
Suddenly, my soul drifts in the endless space,
A voice sings sweetly beside the hammock’s place.
We bid farewell to autumn, but with a heavy heart,
Dew lingers softly, as sunshine plays its part.

11. Poem: WINTER COMES TO HANOI... - Hoàng Như Phượng
WINTER COMES TO HANOI...
Poem by Hoàng Như Phượng
Winter has come to Hanoi, is it cold, my love?
Is the old scarf still warm enough for your touch?
The small window is covered in damp green moss,
The Phoenix tree sheds its leaves, its sadness too much.
Winter in Hanoi, do you remember the days of old?
How distant those memories seem, so untold.
Love faded away with the folly of youth,
I was naive, unaware as the years flew past.
Winter in Hanoi, those days feel so far away,
Fallen flowers scatter, marking time’s decay.
Life passes through the void of truth and lies,
Lost to the ebb and flow of passing seasons.
Winter in Hanoi must be so cold, my dear...

12. Poem: YOU AND WINTER - YẾN THỊNH
YOU AND WINTER
Poem by YẾN THỊNH
Everyone says winter is so sad,
The trees stand alone, shedding leaves so mad.
Snow falls, covering love with a chilling frost,
Cold outside... and inside me, the warmth is lost.
Still, I know, yet why do I keep longing,
Wishing for winter like the sun after the storm's dawning,
Sending autumn away to make space for the cold,
And asking, 'Has winter truly arrived, we're told?'
I want to sing for you a song so sweet,
The one I sing each year alone in defeat.
No one hears, for you are gone away,
'The Sad Christmas Carol' on this holy day.
Winter is sad, and so am I this way,
For we share the sorrow, and thus understand the gray.
Oh, winter, please come quickly, do,
So we can drink a farewell cup, and bid our sorrow too...
YẾN THỊNH

13. Poem: SELF-FEELING WINTER - Phạm Quang Thu
SELF-FEELING WINTER
Poem by Phạm Quang Thu
The moonlight of a thousand autumns falls,
At autumn's end, the moon greets the cold with calls.
The season changes, the clear lake turns still,
And winter arrives, freezing the heart with a chill.
The golden season scatters jewels in the light,
While winter brings a frost that darkens the night.
The wind and rain whisper sadness in the air,
Fallen autumn leaves sow spring's green somewhere.
Glistening frost reflects a longing tear,
Reminiscing love that turns to sapphire clear.
Autumn departs, leaving a heavy heart,
As winter’s cold winds tear us apart.
You crossed the river, the autumn gone,
And I am left with winter's chill all alone.

14. Poem: THE WINTER MILK FLOWER - Lan Thanh
THE WINTER MILK FLOWER
Poem by Lan Thanh
I thought you and Autumn were together,
Returning, filling the land with its tether.
But then – Winter knocks on the door,
The cold rain chills me to the core.
This morning, a warm smile lights the way,
A thousand pink rays begin their display.
Oh, look, the flowers start to bloom,
Bunches of sunlight dancing in full room.
The gentle white blossoms sway so pure,
Their intoxicating scent, a sweet allure.
As the night grows deeper, the fragrance grows,
The dawn approaches, as the new day shows.
The milk flowers of winter bloom,
Each delicate petal like a soft plume.
Whispering quietly, their elegance calls,
So gracefully they stand, as the night falls.
The bright day awakens the bustling street,
As the afternoon light warms the town's beat.
The dragonfly flits in joyful play,
Dreaming of something, lost in its sway…

15. Poem: WELCOME, WARM WINTER! - Lê Mỹ Hường
WELCOME, WARM WINTER!
Poem by Lê Mỹ Hường
Autumn has passed, and Winter gently arrives,
Songs of celebration greet the changing skies.
The soft breeze hums, teasing with playful grace,
Carrying leaves from branches back to Earth's embrace...
Time's rhythm soothes, quietly tugging at the heart,
Hands entwined, a warm kiss shared from the start.
Has Winter arrived? Oh, yes, it's already here,
With the chilly breeze softly drawing near.
The long dress sways beneath the wide-brimmed hat,
Your charm paints Winter with shades of love so flat.
The dry sun spreads its golden strands so thin,
Bestowing hues for this cold day to begin.
Autumn passes, leaving Winter with its grace,
A gift of love, of loyalty in place.
Earth’s milk nourishes the trees in full bloom,
Waiting for Spring to change the seasons' tune.
Winter has come! The soft winds softly beckon,
A melody sparkles in colors bright and reckoned.
Those who love Winter will understand this feeling,
Open your arms to welcome the warmth that’s healing!

16. Poem
WARM WINTER COAT
Poem by Nguyễn Thị Khánh Hà
Do you see Winter coming,
To the small mountain region?
Mist swirls with the breeze,
Covering the dry, barren trees.
So many children face the cold,
Without a warm coat to wear.
How can they escape the chill,
When it stings their hearts with despair?
I long for a Winter coat,
Just like a mother's embrace.
To wrap me up, keep me safe,
And chase the cold from this place.
The Simple Village comes together,
Crossing countless miles apart.
I treasure my dear friends,
With open hearts, spreading joy to start.
Though mist shrouds the mountain peaks,
The children of Nậm Mười still smile,
Their warmth shines through their laughter,
As they receive their new clothes with style.
Our hearts are full of joy,
When we know how to share.
Giving and receiving brings happiness,
The young and old smile with care...

17. Poem: WINTER COMES - Hồ Viết Bình
WINTER COMES
Hồ Viết Bình
I walk through the golden sunlight,
When suddenly, dark clouds gather in sight.
I look up and see a familiar face,
A cold wind brushes past, with haste.
Walking through the morning's glow,
Mist surrounds, making shadows slow.
People stand, waiting in the street,
Searching for a warm coat, a soft retreat.
In the evening, light rain falls,
Droplets of pearls, on your hair they call.
The night curtain quickly descends,
Winter is here—do you remember me, my friend?

18. Poem: WINTER HAS COME - Đình Khải
WINTER HAS COME
Poem by Đình Khải
Oh dear, winter has arrived,
The wind blows cold along the streets and lanes.
Light rain falls, small drops in every sigh,
The chill seeps into skin and bones, it remains.
Oh, where are you now, far away?
Why aren't you with me to ease this winter's chill?
The rain keeps falling, will it ever sway?
Why don't we warm each other still?
I walk on, looking forward, looking back,
But I see no familiar face I once knew.
I long for a hand to wave, to call me back,
But no such sight, only the cold breeze that blew.
So I hasten my steps, to flee the chill,
Avoiding the sudden cold that Winter brings.
I just hope, one day, you'll come still,
And we can warm each other through everything.

19. Poem: WINTER IS COMING, MY DEAR - Trương Túy Anh
WINTER IS COMING, MY DEAR
By Trương Túy Anh
Do you hear the winter coming
Through the streets and lanes so cold?
The leaves fall, blown by the wind
Leaving the trees bare and alone
Do you hear the call
Of the north wind bringing the winter
Shivering, deep in my soul
As I long for you to hold
Winter has come, my dear
The fog spreads everywhere
Whispering in the darkness
As our kiss burns so sincere
I yearn for your shoulder
To nestle in your warmth
My heart, I entrust to you
With every beat in tune with yours
Winter has arrived, my love
Little sprouts are nurtured
For when spring arrives in bloom
Happiness will be ours to share.

20. Poem: WINTER'S LONGING - Faded Memories
WINTER'S LONGING
By Faded Memories
Winter arrives, bringing with it an endless longing
The cold wind stings the heart, making it ache
The jasmine flowers, too, seem to wither in sorrow
The winter winds freeze the hearts of those who love
Though I thought my longing had faded away
Yet, someone's shadow still lingers near
Hidden, delicate, within the breeze that blows
And winter comes, carried by the wind of memories...
This evening, I return, silently watching the changing winds
The cold gusts brush against the land of my memories
Suddenly, my heart awakens with a rush of emotion
Longing for someone whose memory is still fresh.
Winter night, the mist gently veils the world
Inside, my heart aches with yearning and loss
Remembering the gaze, the smile, the breath
We exchanged in the land of memories from long ago.
I start, as if awakening from a dream
Winter arrives, stirring my soul with deep longing
Remembering someone far away, separated by distance
In my heart, I yearn for that person - a desire that never fades, this winter.

21. Poem: THE SAD CORNER OF THE STREET - Lê Hoàng
THE SAD CORNER OF THE STREET
By Lê Hoàng
Winter has arrived… passing through the small neighborhood
The rain falls, casting a sorrowful shadow over the street
Memories stir, sharp and aching, with every hour
In that distant land… there were dreams shared
The winter wind blows cold, bringing a chilling stillness
The leaves of the Banyan tree fall, never to return
The red leaves seem to whisper in silence
Spreading a thousand memories, awaiting in me
Borrowed words… gathered verses
To speak the hidden thoughts within my heart
This love, I once gave you
I vow to keep it, deeply engraved inside
Though we cannot promise each other
But this love… a burning, passionate fire
Despite fate’s cruelty
I still hope that one day, we shall meet again, forever
My dearest, I miss you so much
What can I do but express this sorrow?
I choose to bear this sadness alone
Preserving memories, resting in the quiet of days gone by
The old street corner today is filled with sadness
Still waiting… for the one who may pass by
Restless, my heart swells as it longs
The pain aches, as I silently curse my fate.

22. Poem: WINTER AND I - Kẻ Lãng Du
WINTER AND I
By Kẻ Lãng Du
The winds rush in, filling the streets with winter
A touch of autumn tucks away the yellow chrysanthemums
That memory rolls into a far-off land
Waiting through many seasons, only to find… overwhelming
I miss you deeply every time the cold wind blows
Sending my longing to the chilly lands
The sky adds frost, making the soul feel more desolate
Leaving my eyes confused, lost before winter's arrival
I suddenly ask myself, do I still remember you?
As evening falls, countless memories scatter
The wind pushes us, keeping our breaths intertwined
For me, it's just one silent wait
The city shifts and puts on its winter coat
A sudden shiver… do you feel the cold now?
The warm room… amidst a dead winter
Waiting for you to come back… to weave warmth for us!

23. Poem: SEASONAL TRANSITIONS - Đoàn Thịnh
SEASONAL TRANSITIONS
By Đoàn Thịnh
Autumn lingers, reluctant to leave
Clinging, unable to let go
Yet winter has already arrived
Before these two seasons part ways
The soft touch of autumn isn't gone
The golden sun graces the private steps
The scent fills the air, but not enough
Still, it makes room for winter to take over.
Thin coats are put away for waiting
Heat draws us closer together
Winter brings warmth to share
And melts away all past grievances.
The mist will come quickly, and the cold
Winter lulls the earth into peaceful sleep
Nurturing tender buds of new life
So the green season grows even greener.
In an instant, two seasons are in labor
Giving birth to shimmering beauty
Gently tending to each other
As your hand holds mine, so tenderly.

24. Poem: WINTER HASN'T COME YET - Nguyễn Hưng
WINTER HASN'T COME YET
By Nguyễn Hưng
Winter, why haven’t you come with your cold?
Is autumn still gathering its golden leaves?
Leaving my soul wandering aimlessly
Longing for the coat that waits for the changing season.
It feels like it was so long ago, yet it seems so recent
Love slipped away, flickering as winter approached
The road divides, the cold wind numbing my soul
And from that moment, I am lost in the haze of life.
Still, every evening when the sun touches the horizon
I stand at the door waiting for the winter wind to come
Even though I know the dream has faded
The scent of it still lingers, not gone in an instant.
Perhaps in life, only I remain the fool
Wandering the winding road of love
Still holding on to a coat, believing
That winter will bring back the old familiar form.
Winter hasn’t come yet, the familiar street is gloomy
The scorching sun invites warmth to stay
In December, the season has shifted to winter
Yet the cold wind still refuses to knock on the door.

25. Poem: REFLECTIONS BY HOAN KIEM LAKE IN THE EARLY WINTER - Phan Thu Hà
REFLECTIONS BY HOAN KIEM LAKE IN THE EARLY WINTER
By Phan Thu Hà
Winter has arrived
Touching memories
Fog blankets the air
Light as a breath
The grass is wet
You wrap yourself in a pretty scarf
Tight and small, you nestle
In your own wings
The Turtle Tower is silent
For ages, in deep thought
The pains of centuries
Life’s fleeting nature
The bridge reflects a question
Does the turtle still remain?
The ancient Ngoc Son Temple
Another year of age
The solitary pen tower
Writes in the mist
Faint ink traces
Flowing endlessly
People are like shadows
By the lake, quietly pondering
Sadness or regret
As seasons pass and rise
Oh! Look! Left behind
On the red-leafed tree
Clusters of flowers blooming
Unexpectedly... teary-eyed....
Phan Thu Hà
