Luong Son High School (formerly known as Luong Son Secondary School) was founded in August 1966 in Cau Son Hamlet, Nhuan Trach Commune. Initially, the school had only one class of 8th-grade students with 34 pupils, under the leadership of Principal Soong Cheng. The school faced severe resource shortages, and both teachers and students had to build their own classrooms and make their desks and chairs. Due to the ongoing war, the school had to relocate multiple times to different places.
Regardless of the challenges, the constant goal of Luong Son High School has always been to improve the quality of education. Over the years, many generations of students have graduated from this school. The teachers take pride in the success of their students, which motivates them to continue their educational mission. Founded on August 25, 1970, the Youth School for Learning and Working in Hoa Binh (commonly known as the Youth School) is now known as Hoa Binh Industrial High School. Since its establishment, the school has continually grown and developed, emerging as one of the top high schools in the province in terms of educational quality and extracurricular activities. 5. Hoa Binh Provincial Ethnic Boarding High School
On February 1, 1958, the Hoa Binh Provincial Party Committee decided to establish a school named "Youth School" based on the proposal of the Hoa Binh Youth Union. On April 1, 1958, the first class was officially launched in Rong Vong hamlet, Lam Son commune, Luong Son district. After 62 years of development, the school, originally named Social Labor Youth School, now known as Hoa Binh Provincial Ethnic Boarding High School, has made significant contributions to the educational sector and the overall socio-economic development of the province.
Building on the legacy of the Social Labor Youth School, Hoa Binh Provincial Ethnic Boarding High School has consistently excelled in educational activities, leading the province in the "good teaching, good learning" movement and ranking among the top national ethnic boarding schools.
