At the same time, other public high schools such as Nguyen Duy Thi, Yen Lac, and Binh Son (Vinh Phuc) were also established. After 30 months of existence and development, on February 20, 2006, based on the aspirations of students, parents, and the socio-economic characteristics of the locality where the school is located, which still faced many difficulties, the Vinh Phuc Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 19/QD-UBND on the establishment of Tien Thinh High School by converting from Tien Thinh Public High School. Since then, Tien Thinh High School has celebrated August 20 annually as its traditional day.

In June 2000, Quang Minh Semi-Public High School was established to meet the educational needs of the people in the eight southern communes of Me Linh District, Vinh Phuc, contributing to raising the intellectual level, training human resources, and nurturing talents for the country. The early days of its establishment were a challenging journey filled with hardships for both teachers and students. The school initially had only five staff members, including the principal, one vice-principal, two department heads, and one accountant, with all other teachers and staff employed on temporary contracts.

In August 2008, following the merger of Me Linh District into Hanoi City, the school was transformed into Quang Minh High School, operating as a public institution. The entire teaching and administrative staff were newly recruited, mostly comprising young, recently graduated teachers. Since then, the school has admitted students from Me Linh, Dong Anh, and Soc Son districts.
