1. 5th Grade Graduation Speech (Speech #4)
Esteemed guests,
Dear teachers, staff, and parents,
To the representatives of the parent committee,
Dear fellow students, summer has arrived,
The vivid red blossoms of the phoenix trees are still hidden among the leaves, with just a few scattered clusters peeking through the lush green canopy. The schoolyard remains a peaceful, soothing green. The sound of cicadas hasn’t yet filled the air—unlike past years, where the fiery red blossoms and the buzzing of cicadas marked the arrival of summer. But summer has come, as always, bringing with it memories of our childhood and our time at XX Primary School.
Today is the last day of the 20XX – 20XX school year. The school is hosting its year-end ceremony and the graduation ceremony for us 5th graders. This is the first time we’ve had such a meaningful and solemn graduation event.
On behalf of all the students, I would like to wish our distinguished guests, parents, teachers, and staff health, success, and happiness. I also wish my classmates a wonderful and exciting summer break.
As a representative of the 5th grade, I am honored to express the thoughts and feelings of all of us on this special occasion—the end of the 20XX – 20XX school year, and the last year we’ll spend at this beloved elementary school.
It feels surreal how quickly time has passed. Five years ago, we walked into this school, full of excitement and wonder, ready for our first year of learning. Now, as I reflect on those years, I realize how much we’ve changed. I’ve grown, and I’m about to move on to middle school, leaving behind the school that holds so many fond memories. It’s hard to let go. I will miss the sound of my friends laughing together on the playground, and I’ll miss the small, everyday moments that made school life so special—like waiting for my mom by the green gate after school. But now, it’s time to say goodbye.
Dear teachers,
Dear friends,
Just like many others, five years ago I was a small and timid 1st grader, unsure of myself and shy in every situation. But today, I’m standing before you, grown and filled with emotions. I now understand the true meaning of goodbye. When we were younger, I didn’t fully grasp what those tears meant when the 5th graders graduated. I thought “goodbye” was just a break for the summer, but now, as we prepare to leave this school, I understand how deep that feeling is. Saying goodbye means we won’t return to this familiar place, and we won’t see these familiar faces again. But no matter where life takes us, I hope we will always remember XX Primary School and keep its memories close to our hearts.

2. 5th Grader Graduation Speech (Speech #5)
Honorable guests,
Dear teachers, parents, and fellow students,
Today, as we gather in the spirit of May, we join together to celebrate the growth and achievements of all 5th grade students at XX Primary School. On behalf of my classmates, I wish to express my thoughts as we prepare to bid farewell to our beloved school.
First of all, we want to offer our heartfelt thanks to the school administrators, teachers, and the parents who have supported and guided us with care, dedication, and love, helping us become who we are today.
Not long ago, we were shy and nervous first-graders, full of tears as we left our parents to enter a new environment, with new teachers and classmates. At that time, everything felt unfamiliar and overwhelming. But soon, that feeling faded as we grew accustomed to our teachers and friends, and every day at school became more enjoyable and familiar.
Over the past five years, we have transformed from young children into dedicated and model students, thanks to the guidance, care, and support of our teachers.
Now, another summer is upon us. While it may seem like just another ordinary summer for all students, for us 5th graders, this is the most memorable summer yet. After this summer, we will leave behind XX Primary School forever.
As we move on to 6th grade, we will face new schools, new friends, and new challenges. But the image of our teachers will forever remain in our hearts, motivating us to continue on our educational journey.
Words can never fully express our gratitude. But now, all we want to say is: “Beloved school, dear teachers, and cherished friends, we will never forget this school filled with love and warmth.” We will carry with us the heartfelt voices of our teachers, their warm hands, the joyful laughter of our friends, and the thoughtful care of our school’s administrators and parents as we step into the next phase of our education.
As we prepare to say goodbye, on behalf of all 5th graders, I send our deepest thanks to the teachers, wishing them good health and much happiness. To all our fellow students, I wish you a fun and enriching summer.
Thank you, and goodbye!
Lastly, I wish all our distinguished guests, teachers, and fellow students good health, and may you have a wonderful and fulfilling summer.
Sincerely,

3. 5th Grader Graduation Speech (Speech #1)
Honored members of the school administration, respected teachers, parents, and dear students,
My name is... from class 5A
Today, I am deeply honored to speak on behalf of the entire 5th-grade class of the 20XX–20XX school year. These five years spent under the roof of our beloved XX Primary School have been filled with unforgettable memories, and I am here to express the emotions we all share as we prepare to leave.
First, we would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the school leaders, the parents, and the teachers who have dedicated their time and care to guide us to this point. We would not be who we are today without their unwavering support and commitment.
Summer has arrived, bringing with it the vibrant red flowers of the Phoenix tree, signaling a familiar change. Yet, for us 5th graders, this summer is unique—it marks the last summer we will spend at XX Primary School. Standing here today, I am filled with amazement and happiness. How quickly five years have passed! I can hardly believe that I, a once timid child, am now a student who has completed primary school and must say goodbye to this place, to our teachers, and to friends who have been like family.
How can we ever forget the first day we walked into this school, nervous and unsure? Our teachers approached us with warm eyes, gentle hands, and kind voices that made us feel safe and confident. Over these five years, with the same warmth and dedication, they provided us with knowledge, self-confidence, and love.
We will forever remember the laughter that filled the schoolyard, the playful glances, and the familiar presence of our teachers. Our teachers have been like second parents to us, guiding us through every lesson and every challenge. They have equipped us with the tools we need to proudly call ourselves students of XX Primary School.
Although we have grown, we are not without our mistakes. We have been naïve, careless, and at times, foolish. We have made mistakes that disappointed our teachers and parents, and perhaps caused concern for society. But looking back, we now realize how much we owe to our teachers, and we promise to strive to be better students in the future, making sure we never let them down again.
As another summer begins, it may seem like just any other summer. But for us 5th graders, this one is unforgettable, because after it, we will leave behind the school that has been our home. Our time at XX Primary School will end, but its memories will live on in our hearts.
As we enter 6th grade, we will leave behind our beloved teachers. I want to send a message of both “thank you” and “sorry.” Thank you for teaching us so many valuable lessons. We apologize for the times we made you worry or disappointed you. But teachers, we now understand how much effort you have put into guiding us. Until now, we didn’t fully realize the weight of your responsibilities. But we do now, and it means everything to us.
Before I finish, on behalf of my classmates, I would like to wish all the esteemed guests, teachers, and parents good health and much success. We promise to continue working hard, studying diligently, and being good students, worthy of the education and love we have received from XX Primary School.
I respectfully bid you farewell.
Friends, we are about to part ways with our beloved teachers. Let’s offer them our gratitude through these beautiful flowers as a token of our deep appreciation.

4. 5th Grader Graduation Speech (Speech #2)
Honored guests, esteemed teachers, and dear students,
My name is... from class 5,
It is with great pride that I stand here today to represent all of my fellow 5th-grade students. After five years at XX Primary School, filled with unforgettable moments, I am here to share my thoughts and feelings as we prepare to graduate.
First, we would like to express our deepest gratitude to the school leaders, our parents, and all the teachers who have cared for us, guided us with love, and provided us with everything we need to reach this point in our education.
In just a few days, I will leave XX Primary School, the place where I first began my educational journey five years ago. The thought of leaving is bittersweet. It saddens me to say goodbye to our beloved teachers, the memories we have created, and the school that has been our second home. But no matter where we go, the beautiful images of this school will never fade from our hearts.
How quickly the time has passed! It feels like just yesterday that we entered school, nervous and unsure, clinging to our parents outside the classroom and even crying. Yet, our teachers welcomed each of us with warmth and care, guiding us to our seats, patiently helping us learn how to write, to read, and to think. Over the years, we have been taught by many different teachers, each bringing their unique knowledge and experience, but all with a common trait: their deep kindness, patience, and dedication. Teachers not only equipped us with knowledge but also taught us the values that will guide us throughout our lives, helping our dreams soar higher.
We will always remember the blackboard, the white chalk, our familiar seats, the warm classrooms, and the sound of laughter that filled the schoolyard. These will all remain precious memories, even as we move forward in our lives.
Dear fellow students, we want to leave a message for those who are still in lower grades at XX Primary School. You are so fortunate to be students of this wonderful school, which has a long-standing reputation for excellence in education and activities. We, your older brothers and sisters, have worked hard to achieve many awards and honors at the district and provincial levels. We hope that you will continue to strive for excellence, to learn, and to embody the values that make XX Primary School one of the top schools in the region.
To all the teachers who have taught us so much—thank you. You have taught us to love, to share, to accept failure, and to rise again after each fall. The lessons you have given us will stay with us forever, and we are deeply grateful. There were times we made mistakes, and yet, you forgave us, offering us opportunities to correct our actions. The love and dedication of our teachers cannot be fully expressed in words, but we hope you understand how deeply we appreciate all you have done for us. On this momentous occasion, we want to send our heartfelt thanks to each and every teacher who has guided us along this path. We will always remember the gifts you have given us: knowledge, love, and the confidence to face the world ahead.
As we prepare to leave, let us remember the balloons soaring into the sky, carrying our dreams and wishes. They symbolize our gratitude and farewell to our beloved teachers and school. Though we part ways, these memories will remain in our hearts forever.
In conclusion, I wish all the esteemed guests, teachers, and my fellow students good health and happiness. I hope you all have a wonderful summer holiday with your families and loved ones.
We sincerely thank you!

5. 5th Grader Graduation Speech (Speech #3)
Honored guests, respected teachers, and dear students,
Today, as we approach the end of May, a time when the nation remembers our beloved leader, President Ho Chi Minh, we join the rest of the country in celebrating the closing of the school year. On behalf of all the students at XX Primary School, especially the 5th grade, I would like to share a few words before we say goodbye to this cherished school.
First and foremost, we would like to express our heartfelt thanks to the school leaders, our parents, and all the teachers who have given their unwavering support and dedication. Thanks to their love and guidance, we have reached this point in our educational journey.
Esteemed guests and teachers,
The cicadas' songs fill the air, and the red clusters of flame trees have begun to bloom, signaling the arrival of summer. Time has passed so quickly. It feels like just yesterday when the sound of the school drum marked the beginning of a new school year, full of hopes and plans. Yet here we are today, at the closing ceremony for the 2016-2017 school year. It is time to reflect on the nine months of hard work, to bid farewell to our classrooms, teachers, and friends. The same path, the same school gate, the trees, and the benches remain unchanged, but today, everything seems to feel different. Everything seems closer and more familiar than ever before. I believe this is the shared feeling of all the 5th grade students during this farewell ceremony.
Dear teachers, you have patiently guided us in learning how to write, read, and speak with clarity. Each year we had different teachers, but all of you shared the same dedication, responsibility, and love for us. You not only imparted knowledge, but also taught us the important lessons of life—how to be good people. Your kindness and commitment will be the foundation for our future journeys. We will never forget the praise, the gentle corrections, and the encouragements you gave us. We will always cherish the fun moments we spent playing together. The classroom, the blackboard, and our familiar seats will stay in our hearts forever.
Dear teachers, on behalf of the entire 5th grade, I would like to offer a message to the students who remain in the lower grades at our school.
Dear students, we are proud to be part of XX Primary School, a school with a long history of excellence in both education and extracurricular activities. Our seniors have achieved great success over the past five years, and we hope that you will continue to build on this legacy. Strive to improve your studies, develop good character, and participate actively in school activities to bring even more honor to our beloved school. As we look at our teachers with deep affection, we are truly moved. We hope that you will forgive us for the mistakes we have made during our time here, and we promise to continue striving in our future studies so as not to disappoint you.
Finally, once again, I sincerely wish all the honored guests and teachers good health and happiness. I hope all my fellow students have a wonderful and enriching summer break. Thank you so much!
