Distinguished guests, dear women!
Throughout the history of our nation, the Vietnamese people have cultivated remarkable qualities such as resilience and bravery, forming the strength of our community to endure, fight, and triumph over adversity. In this journey, Vietnamese women have made invaluable contributions to preserving and promoting the unique cultural values of our nation. Their quiet, steadfast efforts have shaped the admirable virtues of modern Vietnamese women: "Self-confident – Respectful – Loyal – Diligent".
In recent years, the women at our school have continuously demonstrated their significant roles, contributing greatly to the school's success, upholding the ethical values of female educators in the education sector. They live simply, stay united, support each other in life and work, and many have earned the title of 'Outstanding in Both School and Home'.
Now, more than ever, our women are ready to overcome challenges, dedicate themselves to building the school, and actively engage in educational movements such as 'teaching well, learning well'. They are dedicated, diligent, and invest time and effort in lesson planning, helping students overcome obstacles to continue their education. The resilience and commitment of our women, along with their immense contributions to the country's progress, will always shine like beautiful flowers, spreading joy and bringing peace to all. We hope that our women will continue to be confident, overcome difficulties, remain proactive, creative, and lead the educational initiatives to improve the quality of our school in the coming years.
On behalf of the leadership, we acknowledge the achievements of our women and encourage them to keep up the good work, ensuring they fulfill every task with passion and dedication. They are the pillars of strength in both their families and society at large.
Wishing all delegates and women here good health, happiness, and success.

2. Speech for the 20/10 Dialogue Session (Version 5)
Honored delegates!
Dear colleagues!
In the joyful and proud atmosphere of Vietnamese women celebrating the anniversary of the Vietnam Women's Union (20.10.1930 - 20.10.20...), today, the Workers' Union of (organization name) is delighted to hold a ceremony to commemorate Vietnamese Women's Day, 20/10.
On behalf of the party committee and the leadership of (organization name), I extend warm wishes for health and happiness to all the women here. May today's gathering be filled with joy, unity, and enthusiasm.
Distinguished guests, dear women!
Our beloved President Ho Chi Minh once said: “The beauty of Vietnam’s landscape was built by our women, both young and old, through their hard work and dedication.” This highlights the immense role women have played in the process of nation-building and development. Over 4,000 years of history, women have contributed greatly to preserving, nurturing, and passing on the valuable moral qualities from one generation to the next.
They have been resilient fighters against foreign invaders, diligent workers, and innovators in labor. They have been the solid support for the front lines, the guardians of the nation’s cultural heritage, and the creators of generations of national heroes. As Maxim Gorky once wrote: “Without a kind mother, without women, where would the heroes and poets be?”
Today, in the age of science and technology, Vietnamese women continue to rise and assert their place in society. They are constantly improving their knowledge, communication skills, and research abilities, becoming leaders in science, politics, and diplomacy, earning respect in society.
While succeeding in their careers, they continue to excel in their role within the family, remaining the solid backbone and nurturers of their homes. “Behind every successful man, there is a woman” remains true in every era.
My hope is that with their continued effort, our women will make even greater contributions to the development of our institution and live up to the golden words bestowed upon them by our beloved President Ho Chi Minh: “HEROIC - UNYIELDING - LOYAL - DILIGENT.”
Once again, I wish all delegates and colleagues health, happiness, and success. May all women enjoy a warm and joyful 20/10 celebration!
Sincerely, thank you!

3. Speech for the 20/10 Dialogue Session (Version 1)
Respected Teacher:... - Party Secretary, Principal of the school.
Today, at this Dialogue session celebrating the XXth anniversary of the Vietnam Women's Union (20/10/1930 – 20/10/20YY), I am honored to represent the male teachers, staff, and students of our school in delivering a few words.
First of all, please allow me to extend the warmest greetings to our esteemed leaders, fellow teachers, female staff members, and students.
Dear leaders, teachers, female staff members, and beloved students,
The commemoration of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union on 20/10/20XX is taking place at an important moment, as this academic year marks the recognition of our school’s standing as a vibrant institution, full of passionate, dedicated individuals, especially the contributions of our female teachers, staff, and female students over the years.
Dear teachers and friends, the historical significance of 20/10, as a day celebrating women’s rights and gender equality, is the result of tireless struggles by Vietnamese women. It is a day dedicated to honoring women with flowers, admiration, and best wishes. Of the 365 days in a year, this one is reserved to express society’s care, praise, gratitude, and respect for women, especially those who tirelessly nurture their families and contribute to building a happier, more prosperous world.
It may not be necessary to say much to understand the vital role and responsibility of modern women. They are the main homemakers, equal earners to men, crucial contributors to society’s progress, and devoted mothers raising the next generation. Successful, efficient, dynamic, confident, beautiful, and graceful – this is the image of the Vietnamese woman of the 21st century, who is proving that she is no longer the weaker sex, but a strong and beautiful force.
Building on the achievements of the past and the dynamic, innovative spirit of the female teachers at our school, we hope that they will continue to carry forward the noble tradition of Vietnamese women, contributing positively to the national educational mission, fulfilling their responsibilities entrusted by the Party, State, and the people, and living up to the eight golden words: “Loyal, diligent, dynamic, creative.”
On this occasion of the XXth anniversary of the Vietnam Women's Union (20/10/20YY), on behalf of the male teachers, male staff, and male students of our school, I would like to present a bouquet of fresh flowers as a symbol of our warmest wishes. I kindly invite the teacher to come forward to receive this token of affection from the male teachers.
We cordially invite you, teacher.

4. Speech for the 20/10 Dialogue Session (Version 2)
Dear comrades.
Dear sisters!
In the spirit of celebrating October 20th, marking XX years since the establishment of the Vietnam Women's Union, and sharing in the joy and pride of women everywhere, I am honored to attend the 90th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union (20/10/1930 - 20/10/2020). On behalf of the staff of the People's Council - People's Committee office, I extend warm greetings, wishing you all health, happiness, and success!
Dear comrades!
Throughout history, Vietnamese women have always carried the noble qualities bestowed upon them by President Ho Chi Minh: “Heroic, Unyielding, Loyal, and Capable.” No matter the role, women have demonstrated strength, dexterity, and resilience. They have been fierce fighters against foreign invaders, diligent and creative workers, protectors of the nation, and nurturers of the cultural heritage of our people. Women have birthed the generations of heroes that define our nation's glorious past.
Recognizing the vital role of women, since the establishment of our Party (3/2/1930), during each historical period, the Party has formed women's organizations under various names, culminating in the Vietnam Women's Union, founded on October 20, 1930.
As they matured in the nation's revolutionary struggles, Vietnamese women have set countless shining examples of loyalty to the Fatherland, bravery, and their determination to protect the Party and revolution. The history of our nation's battles for independence is intertwined with the history of our women's movement.
Building on the enduring tradition of “Heroic, Unyielding, Loyal, and Capable” Vietnamese women, and entering the renewal period of our country, under the Party’s leadership, the Vietnam Women's Union has launched various movements encouraging women to “actively learn, work creatively, and build happy families” and “be skilled in both home and public life.” These campaigns have inspired and engaged women from all walks of life. Many have become exemplary figures in fields such as labor, science, education, management, and healthcare, truly embodying the ideal of a modern Vietnamese woman: “Dynamic, Creative, Loyal, and Capable” in this era of change. Dear comrades and sisters,
Countless poems, essays, songs, and works of art have praised the beauty, intellect, and soul of women. As Aristotle once said: “In the face of beauty and music, time becomes irrelevant.” Women, much like music, form a beautiful, peaceful, alluring, and noble garden. Indeed, the mysteries of this world cannot compare to the mystery of a woman. This mystery pulls us in and moves us deeply. As writer Van Cong Hung once expressed his gratitude to his wife in a passionate poem: “There are moments I escape the hustle and lean on you, like a distant ship anchoring on the motherland. Life may be quiet, yet it roars. Returning to you, I find myself again.”
Meanwhile, poet Huu Thinh likened a woman to an indispensable element of life: without her, everything is lonely. Women are the conductors of life; without them, life crumbles into ruins:
“When I am away from you,
The moon is lonely,
The sun is lonely,
The sea remains vast and wide, yet,
It’s lonely without a sail.”
Dear sisters, dear comrades!
We take immense pride in our mothers, sisters, and daughters—Vietnamese women. They embody the “Three Obediences and Four Virtues,” they are “heroes, unyielding, loyal, and capable,” and are shining examples of women who excel in both national and family duties. On this October 20th, I invite you all to reflect on the image of the Vietnamese woman—to appreciate, honor, and love them. Let us affirm the truth that:
“Amidst the daily storms,
Women remain flowers, the angels of the Earth.
Even if tomorrow the sun fades,
We shall call her ‘woman’ as the flame of hope.”
I also wish to extend my gratitude to the men in our lives—our lovers, husbands, and fathers. It is often said that behind the success of every man is the shadow of a woman.
Finally, I wish all comrades good health, happiness, and success. May all our sisters remain cheerful, beautiful, healthy, and joyful. Let us live passionately, loving what we have, improving what we lack, and proving ourselves in life with sincerity, selflessness, wisdom, and love.
Thank you for your attention and listening!

5. Speech for the seminar on October 20th (No. 3)
Esteemed delegates!
Dear comrades!
Today, the Women's Union of the commune is holding a seminar to celebrate the XXth anniversary of Vietnamese Women's Tradition Day on October 20th. On behalf of the Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee of the commune, I would like to extend my warmest greetings and congratulations to all esteemed delegates and comrades present. I would also like to send my best regards and congratulations to all the mothers, grandmothers, and sisters in the commune.
Honorable delegates!
Dear comrades!
The history of the Vietnamese nation is one of fighting to establish and protect the country. Throughout thousands of years, Vietnamese women have played a crucial role in the survival and development of our nation. From the moment our Party was founded, it emphasized that women were a key force in the revolution, with the goal of liberating both the working class and women. On October 20, 1930, the Women's Union was founded, and despite changing names across different revolutionary periods, the organization has remained the steadfast champion of Vietnamese women. In his speech at the 20th anniversary of the Vietnam Women's Union on October 19, 1966, President Ho Chi Minh praised the proud patriotic tradition of Vietnamese women: “From the first century, when the Trung Sisters raised the banner of rebellion to fight invaders, to the present day, whenever our country faced danger, our women have eagerly stood up to play their part in the national liberation struggle. Thus, we have the famous saying: ‘When the enemy comes, women also fight.’ The people of our country are deeply grateful to the mothers of both the North and South for giving birth to and nurturing the heroic generations of our nation.”
Today, women have proven their significant role in society by engaging in various initiatives: women excelling in work and family, women actively studying, working, and creating for the happiness of their families... Many women have become exemplary figures in labor, scientific research, management, education, and medicine, living up to the ideal of Vietnamese women as “dynamic, creative, loyal, and capable” in the era of reform.
Dear sisters and comrades!
Vietnamese women have always been a source of pride for our nation. With the current progress and development, women in our country will certainly continue to uphold the proud tradition of being “heroes, resilient, loyal, and capable,” making significant contributions to building, protecting, and developing the country, while always being a trusted pillar for every family. To continue to promote these virtues and traditions, on this October 20th, I hope that you all will reflect upon and honor the image of the Vietnamese woman. First, we must appreciate and celebrate them; from there, let us shower them with love and affection, and together, we affirm the truth:
“Through the storms and trials of everyday life,
Women remain the flowers, the angels of the earth.
Even if tomorrow the sun sets,
Call the name ‘woman’ as the beacon of hope.”
Finally, I wish all comrades abundant health, happiness, and success. May all our women remain joyful, beautiful, young, healthy, and full of life. Live fully, burn brightly; love what you have, improve what you lack, and assert yourself in life with sincerity, compassion, loyalty, intelligence, and love.
Thank you for your attention and listening, comrades and all the women!
