1. Using an Analog Connection
Analog refers to the general term for AV Composite, AV Component, and VGA ports on a TV. Depending on the iPhone model and the type of connection port on your TV, you'll need to purchase the appropriate cable:
- iPhone 3G, iPhone 4, iPhone 4s: use the Apple Composite AV or Apple Component AV cable.
- iPhone 6, 6 Plus, 5, 5c, and 5s: use the Apple Lightning VGA cable. This cable plugs into the Lightning port and allows you to connect to the VGA port on your TV.

2. Using the Samsung Smart View App
This app is exclusively for Samsung Smart TVs, and the process is very straightforward. Simply download the Samsung Smart View app onto your iPhone, follow a few easy setup steps, and you'll be able to connect your iPhone to your Samsung TV. The app serves two main functions:
- Use the iPhone to control the TV.
- Stream images, music, and videos from your iPhone to the TV.

3. Using a Mobile App
The first method Mytour recommends is very simple and requires no cables—just a Smart TV or an Internet TV. You can easily stream images, music, and videos from your iPhone to the TV without any cables. Here are the compatible apps for each brand:
- Samsung Smart TV, Internet TV: Samsung Smart View.
- TCL Smart TV: TCL nScreen.
- Panasonic Smart TV, Internet TV: Panasonic Remote.
- LG Smart TV: LG TV Plus.
- Sony Smart TV, Internet TV: Use Google Cast, which works only with Android TVs or Photo Share, but this app only mirrors images.

4. Use AirPlay
AirPlay is a wireless transmission method developed by Apple to connect your iPhone or iPad to a TV over Wi-Fi without needing any cables. To use AirPlay, you need an Apple TV device, which you connect to your TV that runs an operating system similar to your iPhone or iPad. Here’s what you need:
- An iPhone 4 or later.
- A TV with an HDMI port.
- An Apple TV (Gen 2 or later).

5. Using HDMI
Using HDMI is another option, but it’s only compatible with iPhone 4 or later. This is a high-quality digital signal interface that Apple uses for its mobile products. The HDMI standard supports content in HD 720p or Full HD 1080p, along with both audio and video. Plus, while transmitting the signal, your phone will also charge conveniently. To use this method, you will need:
- 1 HDMI cable and an Apple 30-pin Digital AV Adapter (for iPhone 4, iPhone 4S).
- Apple Lightning Digital AV Adapter (for iPhone 5, iPhone 5S, iPhone 5C, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6s Plus).
