1. Open Car Windows Slightly to Balance the Temperature
One of the quickest solutions to prevent fogging of car windows in humid weather is to slightly open the car windows. When the windows are cracked open, the temperature inside the car balances with the outside, preventing moisture buildup and keeping the windows from fogging up.
If it's rainy and cold outside, just opening the windows about 10 to 15cm is enough to allow air circulation. This method doesn't consume extra fuel, and it's both simple and safe to implement while driving.

2. Use Shaving Foam or Anti-Fog Additives
In addition to the car’s built-in features, there's another very useful solution for reducing the buildup of condensation on your car windows during humid weather: using shaving foam or anti-fog additives.
This method is frequently used by experienced drivers due to its high effectiveness and fuel efficiency. Simply dip a dry cloth into the shaving foam or anti-fog additive and wipe it over small sections of the car windows. While this method may be more time-consuming than others, it delivers excellent results, quickly eliminating moisture from the glass surface and preventing further condensation buildup while driving.

3. Use the Defrost Function
Allowing your windows to fog up can create major visibility issues and pose a significant danger on the road. That's why it's important to have the proper solution in place to prevent this from happening. Today, most cars on the market come equipped with a modern defrosting function.
This feature is typically activated through a button on the central control panel, with a light indicator that turns on when it's engaged. The defrost function quickly clears foggy windows and is extremely safe to use. It helps minimize the buildup of moisture on the windows, ensuring safer driving conditions for everyone on the road.

4. Turn on the Air Conditioning System
One of the most recommended solutions for clearing foggy windows shared by many drivers is turning on the air conditioning system. Foggy windows are caused by the buildup of moisture that forms from the inside out. Therefore, using the air conditioner in cooling mode combined with the fan function is an effective way to address this issue.
The air conditioning system helps lower the cabin temperature to match the temperature outside. Additionally, it assists in dehumidifying the interior of the car, further preventing fog buildup on the windows. Adjust the fan speed and temperature accordingly to avoid excessive condensation on the windows, especially if it's very cold outside. Avoid using the heater, as this could cause water vapor to condense on the windshield.
