After the swap, Trong Thuy asked to return to the North to visit his father. Before leaving, he and Mi Chau made a promise: if they ever got separated, they would follow the trail of goose feathers from Mi Chau's dress to find each other. Trong Thuy returned to the North, and with his father, led an army to invade the South. An Duong King, overconfident, lost the battle. Trong Thuy followed the goose feather trail to the coast, where he found Mi Chau's body. He took her body back to Loa Thanh for burial. II - HOW TO SUMMARIZE A NARRATIVE TEXT BASED ON THE MAIN CHARACTER
a) Identify the main characters in the story of An Duong King, Mi Chau, and Trong Thuy.
The story of An Duong King, Mi Chau, and Trong Thuy has three main characters: An Duong King, Mi Chau, and Trong Thuy.
b) Summarizing the story based on An Duong King:
I am the king of Au Lac, named Thuc Phan. I ordered the construction of a city in Viet Thuong, but no matter how much we built, the walls kept collapsing. One day, an old man came from the East and told me that the Thanh Giang envoy would help me build the city.
The next day, I was overjoyed to discover that the Thanh Giang envoy was a golden turtle.
After half a month, the city was completed, strong and sturdy. Before returning to the sea, the golden turtle gave me its claws, which I used to create a magic crossbow to defend against enemies. With the city walls and the magic crossbow, I defeated the forces of Trieu Da several times.
Trieu Da, unwilling to engage in battle, requested a peace treaty and sent his son, Trong Thuy, to marry my daughter, Mi Chau. I agreed and gave Mi Chau to him, allowing Trong Thuy to stay in Loa Thanh as my son-in-law. Seizing the opportunity, Trong Thuy persuaded Mi Chau to show him the magic crossbow and then secretly swapped the crossbow's trigger mechanism.
With the crossbow mechanism taken, Trieu Da's army attacked in full force. Meanwhile, I, relying on my other crossbows, calmly played chess. When the city walls collapsed, I fled with my daughter southward. But, at the same time, Trong Thuy, following the trail of goose feathers Mi Chau had scattered, chased after us. In desperation, I heard the golden turtle's warning, 'The enemy is right behind you,' so I drew my sword and killed Mi Chau before plunging it into the sea.
c) Summarizing the story based on Mi Chau:
I am Mi Chau, the daughter of An Duong King, Thuc Phan. After Trieu Da's army failed, he sought peace and asked for my hand in marriage, which my father granted.
I loved my husband deeply and naively shared the secret of the magic crossbow with him. Once he had the crossbow's secret, Trong Thuy wished to return home. I told him, 'If we ever get separated, follow the trail of goose feathers from my clothes to find me.'
When Trong Thuy returned north, he led an invasion with his father. Loa Thanh fell, and I fled with my father. Along the way, I left a trail of goose feathers for Trong Thuy to follow. When we reached the shore, my father, enraged, drew his sword and killed me. Before I died, I prayed, 'If my heart is pure, may I become a pearl; if not, I will turn to dust.' My blood flowed into the sea, and any shellfish that ate it turned into pearls. Trong Thuy buried my body in Loa Thanh, and eventually, overcome with grief, he killed himself by drowning in a well. Those who later washed the pearls in that well found them even brighter.

Question 2 (pages 121, Literature 10, Vol. 1)
I am Trong Thuy, the son of Trieu Da. After my father attempted and failed to invade Au Lac, he returned and ordered me to marry Mi Chau, daughter of An Duong King, with the goal of learning the secrets of their kingdom.
After marrying Mi Chau, we lived peacefully, and An Duong King did not suspect my intentions. One day, I convinced Mi Chau to show me the magic crossbow, and when she was distracted, I secretly took it and returned north.
Armed with the crossbow, my father launched another invasion of Au Lac. The kingdom of Au Lac was unprepared, and An Duong King, relying on the magic crossbow, continued to play chess.
When our forces arrived, An Duong King was caught off guard and had to flee. Remembering Mi Chau’s words, I followed the trail of goose feathers she had left behind. When we reached the shore, a golden turtle emerged and proclaimed Mi Chau to be a traitor, leading An Duong King to kill her before plunging into the sea.
I brought Mi Chau's body back and felt great sorrow and regret for my actions. Remembering her last words, 'If I am innocent, my body will turn into a pearl; otherwise, I will become dust,' her body turned into precious pearls, and her blood, when consumed by shellfish, became pearls as well. Realizing my mistake, I tragically ended my life by drowning in the same well.
Question 3 (pages 121, Literature 10, Vol. 1)

When I went out to catch shrimp, Cam stole my basket and took all the shrimp to receive rewards from my stepmother. I cried many times, but each time, the Fairy Godmother helped me. They killed my fish, denied me the right to attend the festival, and even tried to kill me to replace me with Cam in the palace. I turned into a golden bird, a xoan tree, and a loom to stay near the king and protect him from their schemes. I faced their treachery several times but overcame them. Eventually, I turned into a fruit and was taken in by an old woman who recognized me as the transformed Tam. One day, the king visited our shop and recognized the betel leaf I had prepared, leading to our reunion. I was reinstated as queen and punished my stepmother and stepsister for their crimes. In the end, I lived happily with the king.

I am Trong Thuy, the son of King Triêu Da. After my father failed to conquer Au Lac, he returned and ordered me to marry Mi Chau, the daughter of King An Duong, with the intention of stealing the sacred treasure of the land.
After our marriage, Mi Chau and I lived happily, and King An Duong suspected nothing of my scheme. One day, I flattered Mi Chau into showing me the magical crossbow, and in her moment of carelessness, I stole it and returned to the North.
With the crossbow in my possession, my father mobilized his army to invade Au Lac once again. The Au Lac forces were unprepared, and King An Duong, relying on the power of the magical crossbow, confidently played chess without concern.
When my army broke through, An Duong was caught off guard and fled. Remembering Mi Chau's words to take the goose-feather coat and scatter it along the way, I had my followers chase after them. Near the sea, a Golden Turtle appeared, declaring that Mi Chau was a traitor, betraying her country, and thus, An Duong had her beheaded before descending into the sea.
I took Mi Chau's body back and was filled with sorrow, regretting my actions. Remembering her words before she died that if she was innocent, her body would turn to jade, and if guilty, to dust, her body transformed into jade upon our return, and her blood, when consumed by oysters, became pearls. I turned into a golden bird, a cassia tree, and a loom to stay close to and protect the king from their evil plots. Despite their repeated efforts to harm me, I always overcame them. One day, when the king came to our shop, he recognized the betel nut I had prepared for him. We were reunited, and I returned to the palace. This time, I punished Cam and her mother for their many wrongdoings. In the end, I lived happily ever after with the king.
