About a decade ago, Artist Pham Bang took on the role of Ông Táo, the God of Arts, in 'Gặp nhau cuối năm' in 2005, and later as Ông Táo for Resources and Environment in 2006. 2. Overseas Vietnamese Returning for Tet Film 'Cụ Tổ hiển linh'
Artist Pham Bang also appeared in the 2015 Tet comedy film, alongside other famous actors such as the late Artist Văn Hiệp, Artist Công Lý, Kim Xuyến, Quốc Thuận, and more. The movie depicted the humorous return of overseas Vietnamese Mai Cồ Hà (played by Pham Bang) to visit the newly inaugurated statue of the Ancestor. The film showcased amusing stories, funny situations, and the comical antics of the overseas Vietnamese who were repeatedly outwitted by their grandchildren.

This is one of the roles that truly highlighted Artist Pham Bang's comedic talent, as he took on the villainous character of Lý Trưởng in the iconic play 'Hồn Trương Ba, da hàng thịt'. Despite appearing in just a brief scene, his portrayal of the bald, comedic Lý Trưởng made a memorable impression. With this role, Artist Pham Bang was honored with a Gold Medal at the National Drama Festival.

5. The 'Bald Boss' in 'Gặp nhau cuối tuần'
Having firmly established himself in Vietnam's theater scene, Artist Pham Bang continued to win the hearts of audiences with his roles in the popular 'Gặp nhau cuối tuần' Gala. His portrayal of the stern 'Bald Boss' (Sếp Bằng) became iconic, beloved for its simplicity and humor. Alongside him, actors like Xuân Bắc, Tự Long, Vân Dung, Quang Thắng, and Quốc Khánh brought lively and comedic performances that made the show unforgettable.

6. The 'Henpecked Husband' Character
In perfect collaboration with Artist Thu Hương (also known as Hương Tươi), Artist Pham Bang portrayed a husband constantly bullied by his wife. This, along with the neighboring couple played by Artists Thanh Tú and Thanh Dương, recreated hilarious and relatable scenes of 'neighborly disputes' and bickering. These comedic skits brought much-needed laughter and joy to television audiences.
