Lê Quang Long, originally from Quảng Nam and currently based in Ho Chi Minh City, has dedicated his life, as he shares, to 'giving all his love to the children of remote regions.' For over ten years, Long has regularly traveled to places in need of assistance. Through his meaningful charity projects, Lê Quang Long has brightened the lives of many disadvantaged individuals. 3. Example Number 6
After the August Revolution of 1945, President Hồ Chí Minh called upon the entire nation to 'defeat the famine, defeat the illiteracy, and defeat the foreign invaders.' Just like millions of families, President Hồ and his people reduced their daily rations and set aside rice to fight hunger. Overcoming the famine at that time was a great achievement of the revolution, a result of the people's compassion and solidarity.
After thirty years of war, our country now has hundreds of thousands of victims affected by Agent Orange. Millions of people in remote areas still live in poverty, facing scarcity and hardships. Floods and storms occur constantly, causing death and devastation for many families. Many students have been swept away by floods on their way to school; many fishermen have gone missing at sea due to storms. In the face of these heartbreaking situations, who wouldn’t feel compassion, who wouldn’t shed tears?
The fundraising campaigns launched by the Vietnam Fatherland Front to assist the victims of Agent Orange, HIV/AIDS patients, and others in need have been warmly supported by our people. Many overseas Vietnamese have contributed hundreds of millions of đồng to charity funds, which have been praised by the press. The movement to help poor and disadvantaged students has also seen enthusiastic participation from teachers and young people. All these movements speak to the emotional strength of unity and the deeply rooted humanitarian tradition of our Vietnamese people.

4. Example Number 7
At approximately 12:30 AM on May 24, a fire suddenly broke out in a house located in alley 43/98/31 Trung Kính street (Trung Hòa ward, Cầu Giấy district, Hanoi), resulting in 14 fatalities and 6 injuries.
When the fire was discovered, despite the danger, Phạm Quốc Luật, a former aluminum glassworker and a Grab driver by night, rushed to find a ladder, hammer, and tools to rescue people. Nguyễn Kim Long, the son of the house owner where Luật was renting, immediately grabbed a ladder and hammer to assist. Upon reaching the scene, Đồng Văn Tuấn and Hoàng Văn Tuấn climbed the wall, then raised the ladder to reach the second-floor window where people were trapped. Hoàng Văn Tuấn held the ladder steady while Đồng Văn Tuấn climbed up and used a sledgehammer to break the wall in order to rescue those inside. However, due to the short bamboo ladder and Tuấn's small stature, his hammer blows weren't strong enough.
At this point, Nguyễn Kim Long and his team worked together, bringing more rope ladders to help Hoàng Văn Tuấn. With this added support, Đồng Văn Tuấn managed to climb higher, gripping the ladder and continuing to use the hammer to break the wall. After an intense effort, Đồng Văn Tuấn and Phan Quốc Luật alternated, pounding until they finally made a hole large enough to free the four members of the family from the fire. The crowd assisted in safely lowering each person to the ground. Their actions were nothing short of heroic, like unsung heroes of peace.
