4. Live Show: The Rogue and the Fool
This video, over two hours long, showcases the entire Hoai Linh 6 live show titled The Rogue and the Fool.
The 'rogue' may be up for debate, but the 'fool' is undeniably Hoai Linh, who from the very first moment appears as a skinny young man with a clueless look and a Maruko-style haircut, making it crystal clear who he is in the title. Hoai Linh himself even admits to his friend Phương 'Dấm', "I'm the smartest at home, that's why my father named me Đần!"
The live show features many of Hoai Linh’s close friends, including Việt Hương, his TV wife 'Sáu Bảnh', actor Hiếu Hiền, and singer Hoàng Châu...
The plot follows the journey of Đần, as he tries to help his friend Chí Tài find love with the girl Heo (played by Hoàng Châu). After enduring many obstacles, fainting, and even being scared by ghosts... did it all end in vain? Watch the video below to see how the story unfolds!

5. Comedy: Better to Beg Than to Steal
The title itself sparks curiosity, making viewers eager to see what Hoai Linh will do in this sketch titled 'Better to Beg Than to Steal'. The scene opens with a young Hoai Linh, sitting in front of a large stone, with his arm in a cast placed comfortably on a chair. His expression is full of boredom, looking around as if waiting for something. Behind him is a cardboard sign that draws attention with the catchy title of the comedy sketch.
The somber music swells as Hoai Linh sneers and says, "Who the hell is playing this depressing tune? They see me sitting in front of a temple and immediately start playing this sad song... disgusting, they must think I'm a poor soul!"
I still remember watching this sketch when I was young. Some guys didn't know how to set their ringtone, so they downloaded the music from the beginning of this video, and the part where Hoai Linh says "Who the hell is..." kept skipping back and forth, making it an unforgettable laugh every time their phone rang.
Want to know why Hoai Linh was sitting in front of the temple like that? Want to understand why the saying 'Better to Beg Than to Steal' became a part of the joke? Watch the video to find out!

6. Comedy: The Swallow Crosses the River
The phrase "the swallow crosses the river" typically refers to a girl leaving her family to marry, like a swallow flying across the river to the other side. However, Hoai Linh presents a fresh and amusing twist on this image, transforming it into something entirely unexpected.
This comedy sketch features several artists, with the standout being Chí Tài – Hoai Linh’s long-time stage partner and close friend, who has often appeared alongside him in performances.
The story centers around a father and son duo: Quang (Chí Tài) and Tài (Hoai Linh). The father (Chí Tài) is obsessed with gambling on numbers, which results in them losing all their possessions, except for the TV, which the father refuses to part with due to his love for Korean dramas. The father and son must borrow food from their neighbors to survive, to the point that the neighbors no longer want to lend them anything. Eventually, the son decides to resort to "desperate measures", stealing two melons and running home. The plot continues as the creditors come to collect debts from the father and son... This is one of the videos that truly showcases Hoai Linh's distinctive comedic style of the time, with his natural delivery and unique tone of voice, making every line of his dialogue hilarious.

7. Comedy: The Motorcycle Taxi
This is the sketch that gave birth to the now-famous phrase that once went viral across social media: "I’m Linh the motorcycle taxi driver, the underling of Tài the crazy dog, and I can take on anyone..."
This is another collaboration between two of the most popular comedic talents in Vietnamese theater. One typically plays the slow-witted, clumsy roles, while the other brings all their creative genius to the stage, making the audience laugh with their clever antics. In the end, the comedy showcases Hoai Linh single-handedly dealing with the madness of Chí Tài.
