1. October 20th Speech (Number 4)
Dear leaders, union representatives, and all men and women present,
Today, we commemorate the XXth anniversary of the founding of the Vietnamese Women's Union. On behalf of the XX School leadership, I extend a warm welcome and heartfelt wishes for health, happiness, and success to all participants in today's celebration. May this event be filled with joy and deep meaning, and may all women continue to thrive surrounded by their loved ones!
Dear comrades,
Vietnamese women are truly beautiful. Their beauty originates from within, radiating in every aspect of life. This beauty manifests in their work, studies, love, bravery, and daily lives. Especially in times of hardship, their beauty shines even brighter. Vietnamese women have always been the backbone of the nation, ensuring the home is taken care of while men can go off to battle.
From the era of the Hung Kings to the time of Ho Chi Minh, through the heroic history of our nation, Vietnamese women have continuously demonstrated intelligence, creativity, hard work, and courage. They have not only carried on the nation's traditions but also contributed to the modernization and industrialization of the country, integrating into the global community. Today, women have proven their essential roles in society, excelling in various fields such as science, management, education, and medicine. They embody the spirit of resilience, creativity, and progress in the new era.
Dear colleagues and fellow women,
Vietnamese women have always been a source of pride for our nation. With ongoing development and progress, we are confident that women will continue to uphold their heroic, resilient, and nurturing roles, contributing to the growth and protection of our country, and remaining a reliable support for each family. On this October 20th, I urge you to reflect on the image of the Vietnamese woman, honor her, and continue to shower her with love and care. Let us all affirm this truth:
"Amidst the trials of daily life, women are like flowers, like angels of the earth. Even if the sun sets tomorrow, we will still call them 'women,' the light of our faith."
Finally, I wish all of you good health, happiness, and success. May all women always remain joyful, beautiful, youthful, healthy, and full of life. Live passionately, love what you have, and strive to become the best version of yourselves, grounded in sincerity, compassion, loyalty, wisdom, and love.
Thank you for your attention, and may you all continue to shine!

2. October 20th Speech (Number 5)
Dear teachers and fellow youth union members,
The Vietnamese woman, with her mark on history, stands as a testament to the completeness of her beauty. It is undeniable that Vietnamese women are incredibly beautiful, first and foremost in the beauty of their character and soul, which shines through in every facet of life. From ancient times, the indomitable will of Hai Ba Trung and Ba Trieu has echoed throughout history with their desire: “I want to ride the fierce winds, conquer turbulent waves, and slay the giant fish in the East Sea.” These heroines fought valiantly, undaunted by the invading northern forces, rising up to protect the sovereignty of Vietnam. As history unfolded, the names of women like Queen Y Lan, Empress Duong Van Nga, and Princess Ngoc Han have become intertwined with the nation's narrative. Throughout every period of the nation's struggle for independence, the image of women has always been present.
In daily life, they are warriors and artists, safeguarding and promoting the cultural values of our nation. They are not only a source of inspiration for writers and poets, but they have also asserted their own talents and intellect on the literary stage, matching their male counterparts.
During the revolutionary struggle, Vietnamese women have always been seen as the steadfast backbone of the frontlines, being resilient fighters themselves, such as female guerilla soldiers, young female volunteers paving the way, and brave women carrying rice and ammunition with unwavering determination.
In today's world, with many great opportunities, countless Vietnamese women have worked hard to improve themselves, overcome challenges, and equip themselves with the knowledge and skills needed to compete on a global scale. Vietnamese women are becoming increasingly proactive, confident in leadership, management, scientific research, and are bold in navigating the market economy.
With pride in the exceptional legacy of women, on the occasion of Vietnamese Women's Day on October 20th, one thing is certain: the role and position of women in society will only continue to rise, and their contributions to the common progress in every field will become more significant.
Dear distinguished guests, dear teachers,
October 20th is not just a day in history but a symbol of the long struggle for equality and happiness for Vietnamese women. Women have made October 20th a historical day. On this occasion, I wish all the mothers and sisters health, happiness, and prosperity.

3. Speech for October 20th (Number 6)
Esteemed guests, respected teachers, and educators!
There is a philosopher who once said, 'Without the sun, the rose cannot bloom,' and 'Had God created women first, no other flowers would have been born.' Women have been the eternal subject of poetry, music, and art in all its forms. It is often said, 'The greatest is the heart of a mother.'
Indeed, the heart and soul of a woman have long been regarded as wondrous treasures in the cultural heritage of humanity. Victor Hugo once noted, 'Next to the shimmering light of the stars is the soft and mysterious glow of a woman's soul.'
People cherish women as they would something sacred and noble. Through the long nights of war and oppressive feudalism, the image of Vietnamese mothers and sisters has become even more radiant. They have asserted their worth through every era of society.
Today, no one can deny the immense role of women in various fields. The Party and Uncle Ho honored Vietnamese women with the golden words: 'Heroic, indomitable, loyal, capable' during the resistance war, and 'Loyal, capable, talented, heroic' in the era of national renewal.
Proud of the splendid legacy of women, on the occasion of Vietnamese Women's Day, October 20th, we can confidently say that: 'The role and status of women in society have continually risen, with their contributions growing in all fields.'
The nation will forever take pride in Vietnamese women: 'Good at both public and household duties,' excelling in every role they play and leaving a noble, shining legacy in the history of our people.
Women of all ages display different qualities dictated by historical circumstances. I believe that their intrinsic qualities, such as kindness and loyalty in their roles as wives, mothers, and sisters, are the glue that holds families together and deserve to be celebrated as the finest of all human beings.
As mothers and wives, they are also truly worthy of admiration. Behind every lesson plan, there is the heavy responsibility of family care, nurturing children, and the constant reminder to maintain warmth and love within the family.
Esteemed guests, respected teachers!
October 20th is a historic chapter in the fight for equality and happiness for Vietnamese women, as it was women who made this day a historic landmark. On this October 20th, I wish all mothers and sisters happiness and boundless health.

4. Speech for October 20th (No. 7)
Dear teachers,
And all the young comrades!
The history of Vietnam is deeply marked by the bravery of female heroes who resisted invaders, fought against oppression, and liberated the country. Icons such as the Trung Sisters, Ba Trieu, General Bui Thi Xuan, Nguyen Thi Dinh, and Ut Tich, have left an indelible mark on our nation's history.
As soldiers and artists, they have not only protected and preserved our culture, but their achievements have inspired countless poets and writers. Their intellectual contributions to literature are on par with those of men.
Let us not forget the remarkable women like Lady Diem Bich of the Tran Dynasty, Lady Nguyen Thi Lo of the Le Dynasty, and Lady Ngo Chi Lan of the Le Thanh Tong period. They became symbols of patriotism and dedication. There are also queens and princesses who sacrificed everything for the country's cause, such as Queen Duong Van Nga in the 9th century, Queen Pham Thi Ngoc Tran in the 15th century, and Princess Le Ngoc Han in the 18th century.
During the revolution, Vietnamese women played a critical role as a strong support for the frontlines. Many women soldiers, militia, and youth volunteers fought valiantly to transport rice and ammunition with unyielding willpower. Among them were Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, Vo Thi Sau, Le Thi Hong Gam, and Dr. Dang Thuy Tram, who gave their lives for the country.
And there are countless silent heroines who worked tirelessly, waiting for their loved ones to return from war. Today, with new opportunities, many Vietnamese women have risen to prominence, overcoming challenges to excel in leadership, research, and the market economy.
Women have demonstrated their strength in various sectors, contributing significantly to the success of national economic and social development. Vietnamese women are hardworking, intelligent, creative, and full of courage.
In areas such as labor, job creation, and poverty alleviation, many women have shown exceptional management skills, becoming successful entrepreneurs and receiving prestigious national awards. They are revered as the golden roses of our society.
Our country has outstanding female leaders, diplomats, and economists who balance both public affairs and domestic responsibilities, like Nguyen Thi Binh, Truong My Hoa, Pham Chi Lan, Ton Nu Thi Ninh, and Tong Thi Phong.
On this Vietnam Women's Day, we express our deep gratitude to all mothers and sisters, wishing them a joyful and fulfilling day.

5. Speech for October 20th (No. 8)
Dear members of the teaching staff!
Dear sisters!
On this occasion of celebrating October 20th, with the excitement and pride of women from all walks of life, today we solemnly commemorate the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union (October 20, 1930 - October 20, 20xx).
I would like to extend my greetings and best wishes for health, happiness, and success to all the female teachers and staff, as well as to the male colleagues who are sending their greetings to their wives, girlfriends, and loved ones.
Vietnamese women have always possessed noble qualities, as President Ho Chi Minh once described: 'Heroic - Unyielding - Loyal - Capable.' In every role, women have demonstrated their strength, skill, and inherent grace.
Recognizing the importance of women, since the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930), the Party has established women's organizations in various historical periods, culminating in the Vietnam Women's Union, which was officially formed on October 20, 1930.
Throughout the nation's revolutionary struggles, Vietnamese women have exemplified loyalty to the country, bravery, and dedication in protecting the Party and the revolution. The history of our country's fight for independence is inextricably linked with the history of Vietnamese women's movements.
Building upon the tradition of heroism, resilience, loyalty, and competence, women have actively participated in the nation's renewal process. Under the Party's leadership, the Vietnam Women's Union launched various initiatives, such as the campaigns 'Women actively study, work creatively, and build happy families' and 'Women are skilled in both state affairs and household duties,' which have successfully inspired and mobilized women across all social classes to participate.
Dear colleagues and sisters!
Countless poems, essays, songs, and works of art have celebrated the beauty, intellect, and soul of women. On such a meaningful day, it is incomplete if we do not discuss and appreciate the beauty and mystery of women in various aspects of life.
As the philosopher Aristophanes once said, 'Before beauty and music, time becomes irrelevant.' Indeed, women, like music, are a beautiful, peaceful, and noble realm. All the mysteries of the world cannot compare to the mystery of a woman. Their allure continuously draws men in, and once uncovered, it humbles them. Women are always ready to sacrifice, for their strength lies in selflessness.
Similarly, poet Huu Thinh likens women to the essential force in life. Without them, everything seems incomplete. Women are the conductors of life's symphony, and without them, life is mere ruins:
'When I am away from you, the moon is lonely,
the sun is lonely,
the sea remains vast,
yet without your sail, it is still empty.'
Dear sisters and colleagues!
We are immensely proud of the Vietnamese women — our mothers, sisters, and daughters. They embody the virtues of 'filial obedience, loyalty, diligence, and propriety.' They are heroines, resilient, and capable, excelling in both state affairs and domestic duties. On this special day, I encourage everyone to reflect on and honor the image of Vietnamese women. Let us appreciate and shower them with love and affection, for we must always acknowledge that:
'Through life's many storms and sunshine,
Women remain the flowers, the angels of the earth.
Even if the sun sets tomorrow,
Call upon 'women' as the torch of hope.'

6. Speech on October 20th (Number 1)
Dear colleagues!
Honorable leaders, and all the women at (organization or company name)
Today, on October 20th, 20XX, we celebrate the XXth anniversary of the founding of the Vietnamese Women’s Union. On behalf of the Trade Union Executive Committee, I would like to extend my warmest greetings and best wishes for health, happiness, and success to all female staff, teachers, and employees of …………………….!
Dear colleagues!
Throughout our 4000 years of history, Vietnamese women have made countless contributions to the construction, preservation, and passing down of our nation’s values. Their silent, unacknowledged contributions have created deep-rooted traditional virtues: heroism, industriousness, patriotism, kindness, loyalty, and sacrifice. In any era, Vietnamese women have embodied the qualities that President Ho Chi Minh once bestowed upon them: 'Heroic – Unyielding – Loyal – Industrious.' No matter their position, women have always demonstrated great strength, intelligence, and resourcefulness. They have fought against invaders with courage, worked tirelessly and creatively, and safeguarded and promoted our cultural heritage. They have birthed generations of national heroes.
In today’s age of science and technology, Vietnamese women continue to rise and assert themselves. They are dynamic and innovative in their work, celebrated in society, yet never neglect their roles and duties within their families. It is often said, 'Behind every successful man is a woman,' and this is undeniably true, as we understand that 'A high mountain needs a solid base to stand.' A man’s success and happiness are often the result of the sacrifice and love of the women around him.
On this occasion, I sincerely thank all of you, dear colleagues. I wish everyone, your families, and our colleagues continued good health, happiness, and success. May all the women on October 20th be filled with joy, happiness, and achievement.

Dear colleagues!
Honorable members of the union at the school!
On this special occasion, as we join in the excitement and pride of women across the nation celebrating the XXth anniversary of the Vietnamese Women's Union (October 20th, 1930 - October 20th, 20XX), we gather today at School XX to honor Vietnamese Women’s Day. On behalf of the leadership and committee, I would like to extend my best wishes for health and happiness to all female colleagues. May today’s celebration be filled with joy, unity, and enthusiasm.
Dear distinguished guests and dear sisters!
Throughout our nation’s history of building and defending the country, the people of Vietnam have developed extraordinary qualities: courage, resilience, and a spirit that forms the foundation for our collective strength to endure, fight, and triumph over any enemy. In this process, Vietnamese women have played an essential role in preserving, promoting, and passing down our nation’s cultural heritage from generation to generation. Their silent contributions have gradually crystallized into the magnificent virtues of Vietnamese women in the modern era: 'Confidence – Dignity – Loyalty – Industriousness.'
Over the years, the women at School XX have proven their critical role and made immense contributions to the school’s comprehensive and sustainable development. They have maintained the integrity and moral values of female educators, living modestly, fostering solidarity, and supporting each other both in work and in life. Many have earned the title of “Excellent in work, devoted in family.”
Now more than ever, our women remain ready to overcome challenges, dedicate themselves to building the school, and actively participate in initiatives like “Good teaching, good learning.” Their tireless efforts, from research to lesson planning, and their help in ensuring students overcome difficulties to continue their education, are invaluable. The dedication of these women in both family and society, along with their significant contributions to the development of our country and the educational sector, are like beautiful flowers that brighten our lives with fragrance and bring peace and happiness to all. We hope that they continue to be confident, overcome obstacles, and contribute actively to the quality improvement of our school’s education in the future.
On behalf of the leadership, we acknowledge your achievements and hope you continue to give your best, serving as the foundation for every family and society as a whole.
Wishing all colleagues and women health, happiness, and success. Thank you!

8. Speech on October 20th (Number 3)
Dear colleagues!
It is with great joy that I attend the XXth anniversary celebration of the founding of the Vietnamese Women's Union today. On behalf of [organization], I warmly welcome and extend my best wishes for health and happiness to all distinguished guests and representatives. I would also like to send heartfelt greetings to the women of our district and express my warmest congratulations. I wish for the success of today’s event (cheers).
Honorable delegates!
Dear colleagues!
The history of Vietnam is a history of struggle to establish and protect the nation. Over the thousands of years of our history, Vietnamese women have played a crucial role in the survival of our nation. Since the early days of our Party, it has been recognized that women are a vital force in the revolution, with the mission of class liberation intertwined with women's liberation. On October 20th, 1930, the Women’s Union was founded and has gone through various phases, remaining a steadfast organization for Vietnamese women. Through various revolutionary periods, the role and position of women were highly valued by the Party and President Ho Chi Minh. He once said, 'The beautiful land of Vietnam was made even more splendid by the efforts of its women, both young and old.' In his final will, President Ho Chi Minh wrote, 'During the resistance against the Americans, diligent women made significant contributions to both combat and production. The Party and Government should create practical plans to nurture, promote, and support more women to take on leadership roles. Women must strive to rise up themselves.'
Women have been indispensable in the success of Vietnam’s revolution, especially during the wars against France and America. In the process of building the nation, women have made immense contributions to social development. They symbolize the heroic revolutionary spirit of our people. History will forever remember the shining images of 'the long-haired soldiers,' the indomitable women in prison, mothers hiding wounded soldiers, female soldiers shooting down fighter jets and sinking enemy warships, and young women in the volunteer youth corps who lived alongside roads and bridges, dying courageously and gallantly. Millions of mothers and wives made tremendous sacrifices, motivating their husbands and children to fight while managing both the home and the country, showing unparalleled strength. Vietnamese women deserve to be honored with the golden words 'Heroic, indomitable, loyal, and industrious,' as well as the global saying, 'Without the sun, the roses would not bloom; without women, there would be no love; without mothers, there would be no heroes.'
In today’s era, Vietnamese women continue to rise and assert their position in society. They remain dynamic and creative in their work, on par with men, yet never forget their roles as daughters, mothers, and wives in family life.
It is often said, 'Behind every successful man is the shadow of a woman,' and this is undoubtedly true. Men owe their success and family happiness to the sacrifice, kindness, care, and attention of their female counterparts.
On this Vietnamese Women’s Day, October 20th, on behalf of the entire company, especially the male employees, I once again wish all women a day filled with joy and happiness with their families. I extend my sincere wishes for health and happiness to all guests, colleagues, and families.
