1. End-of-School Year Speech by an Elementary School Teacher - Speech No. 4
It is with great honor that I stand before you today at this year’s closing ceremony, representing the dedicated teaching staff at XX Elementary School. On behalf of all the teachers and students, I would like to extend my heartfelt greetings to all distinguished guests, teachers, parents, and students.
Esteemed guests,
Dear teachers and students,
The sound of the school bell marks the end of another academic year, and after nine months of diligent efforts by both teachers and students, summer is finally upon us.
Looking back over the past year, we take immense pride in the achievements we've made despite facing numerous challenges. With the unwavering determination of both the teaching staff and students, we have managed to accomplish significant milestones, from teacher training sessions to intellectual competitions for students, as highlighted by our school administration. These achievements are a direct result of the support from local authorities, the educational department, the school leadership team, the close collaboration with parents, and, of course, the hard work of both teachers and students at XX Elementary School. Our teachers have shown great unity, dedication, and resilience in their teaching roles and in overcoming obstacles to fulfill their duties.
Many of our students have tirelessly worked to improve, striving for excellence in their studies and personal development, and achieving remarkable success in various competitions. This is a source of great pride for all of us. However, we also acknowledge that some students face difficulties due to challenging family circumstances, lack of motivation, and insufficient parental support. This remains a challenge for us as educators, as we must continue to improve our efforts to guide these students in becoming valuable individuals in the coming years.

The school year 20XX is drawing to a close, and summer is here. It’s a time for students to rest and recharge, but also a moment to review and consolidate the knowledge they have gained, in preparation for the upcoming year. We hope that next year, students will be even more motivated to learn and will take greater responsibility for their actions, becoming well-behaved and diligent learners, just as their parents and teachers hope and trust.
For our 5th-grade students, this is their final summer under the roof of XX Elementary School, the place where they have spent five memorable years of learning and growing. It is not just a place to acquire knowledge, but also a place where they learn important life lessons. We encourage them to continue striving and be a good example for their younger peers.
As for the teachers, we pledge to continue working with greater dedication and responsibility, fostering a spirit of unity, loving our students, engaging in lifelong learning, and enhancing our professional skills to contribute to the continuous improvement of education in our school, living up to the trust placed in us by local authorities and the community.
Finally, I would like to once again wish all of our esteemed guests, parents, and teachers success, happiness, and good health as we continue to contribute to the growth of the school and the development of our students. I also wish our students a joyful and healthy summer, and I hope that they will return next year with even greater achievements! Thank you.

Esteemed guests,
Dear teachers and students,
Today, in the joyous and celebratory atmosphere of our end-of-year ceremony for the academic year 20XX – 20YY, I am honored to represent the teaching staff and share my feelings and reflections on this occasion.
First and foremost, I would like to extend my warmest greetings and best wishes for health and success to all our distinguished guests, teachers, and students.
Esteemed guests, dear teachers and students,
As May arrives, with the vibrant red clusters of flame trees signaling the start of summer, we are reminded that another academic year is coming to a close. Reflecting on the year gone by, we, the teachers and students of XX Secondary School, can proudly say that we have overcome numerous challenges and obstacles, achieving significant milestones in terms of academic performance, student conduct, and the various initiatives we've successfully carried out, as highlighted in the Principal's End-of-Year Report.
These accomplishments are largely due to the effective leadership of the educational authorities, the school administration, and the support from local committees, the parent association, generous donors, and the hard work of our students. On behalf of the entire teaching staff, I extend our sincere gratitude for the valuable support and collaboration provided by all parties involved, which has enabled us to fulfill our responsibilities throughout the academic year 20XX – 20YY.
Thanks to the timely assistance from the school, families, and society, many students, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds, have overcome significant hardships to help their families make a living. These students have not only persevered but also excelled in their studies and personal development, dreaming big and striving for a bright future. Some of them have become exemplary students, achieving outstanding results by the end of the school year.
Esteemed guests, dear teachers,
In the current context of our nation’s reform, education plays a central and critical role. It is a task that is both difficult and weighty. Yet, each teacher is deeply aware of their responsibilities and remains committed to ongoing self-improvement through continual learning and professional development, determined to uphold the noble tradition of the teaching profession. By fostering unity, compassion for our students, and dedication to our work, we strive to contribute to the significant improvements in the quality and effectiveness of education in our school, in alignment with the expectations of local authorities and the community.
Dear students,
The summer is upon us, and with it comes a time for rest, relaxation, and preparation. For you, the students, this summer represents not only a break from school but also an opportunity to revise and ready yourselves for the year ahead. We, your teachers, hope that next year you will continue to excel, take more responsibility for your growth, and embody the maturity expected of you as you progress to higher grades.
For our 9th-grade students, this marks your final summer before stepping out of the halls of XX Secondary School. It seems like just yesterday that you walked into our school as newcomers, shy and uncertain, and now you are about to graduate as the leaders of the school. These four years have passed quickly, yet they have left an indelible mark on each of you. This school has not only been a place for learning but also a place where you have grown in character, learning to live, work, and interact with teachers, parents, and friends.
“If you have one wish in life, remember to wish for time to return.”
At this moment, I know that many of you are feeling bittersweet, reluctant to say goodbye, holding on to every last moment, and cherishing the bonds you’ve formed. These emotions, though hard to put into words, will forever be etched in your hearts as precious memories.
In these final moments, I encourage you to remember the efforts of your teachers who have shown immense love and responsibility in guiding you. Remember the beautiful memories shared with your classmates as you walked the path of learning together. As this school year draws to a close, we wish you all the best in adjusting to your next phase of learning and achieving even greater accomplishments in the years ahead.

3. End-of-School Year Speech by a Secondary School Teacher - Speech No. 6
Esteemed guests, distinguished delegates, dear teachers, and students,
Summer – the season of vibrant red flame trees and purple jacarandas – always carries with it the fresh memories of school days. For many, it is also the time to say goodbye to the familiar halls of secondary school, especially for those students in their final year. So many dreams and aspirations are quietly nurtured in the hearts of these young students who, not long ago, were newcomers to this school. And now, as they prepare to part from their beloved teachers and friends, their emotions are too complex to fully capture in words.
Today, in the solemn atmosphere of our school’s year-end ceremony for the academic year 20XX – 20YY, we gather to bid farewell to our 9th-grade students and to hand over the torch of leadership to the next generation. To begin, I would like to extend my sincere greetings and best wishes for health and success to all the honored guests, colleagues, and students present here today. I hope this ceremony will be a success and a meaningful moment for all of us.
Dear 9th-grade students,
At this formal occasion, we, the teachers, would like to share some thoughts with you: You have successfully completed your secondary education, and now you are stepping into a new chapter of life. Every profession has its value, and it is our passion and dedication to learning that will allow us to honor the sacrifices made by our parents. This is a treasure that cannot be measured. We want to remind you that our presence here today is a precious gift from life itself. Cherish who you are and carefully consider each step you take, each decision you make, so that we can all take pride in having studied at this school, together.
On behalf of the teaching staff, I would also like to pledge that we will continue to work hard to fulfill the responsibilities entrusted to us by the educational authorities. We remain committed to serving and contributing to the stability and development of our beloved town, ensuring that we create the best environment for future students.
In closing, I wish all distinguished guests continued health, happiness, and success in their endeavors. To all students, I encourage you to use the summer to review your studies while also taking time to relax and have fun. May our year-end ceremony for the academic year 20XX – 20YY be a resounding success!

4. End-of-School Year Speech by a High School Teacher - Speech No. 7
Esteemed parents, teachers, and dear 12th-grade students,
The first rains of the season have softened the intense heat of May, while the blooming flame trees along the streets signal the arrival of summer.
Dear students,
This summer for you is a bittersweet one, as it marks the final summer of your high school years – a time for farewells and fond memories. As you prepare to part from High School XX, you bid adieu to friends, teachers, the familiar classroom, the benches, the schoolyard, and the trees that have become part of your everyday life – all of which will soon be cherished memories.
“When we are here, it’s just a place of earth
When we leave, the land becomes our soul.”
Your hearts carry the memories of countless hours spent studying, the sleepless nights finishing assignments. The innocent faces, the joyful smiles after overcoming difficulties. The hugs and handshakes of victory when your name was called out on the school honor roll. The rushed lunches while practicing songs and dances for the school’s cultural performances. The water bottles passed between teammates during football matches, drenched in sweat. The colorful balloons floating high in the clear blue sky, carrying your wishes. The flickering lights of the campfire that warmed friendships, student-teacher bonds, and ignited hope for a bright future.
Dear students,
The teachers will forever remember you: your strength, confidence, creativity, and enthusiasm. The cultural performances, the plash mod dances to the song “Nối vòng tay lớn” brought us all closer together. The thrilling football moments and the beautiful passes that delighted the fans in the stands. The tense tug-of-war final during the Phu Dong Sports Festival. And the unique handwritten notes and cards you sent us on Teachers’ Day each year.
Dear students,
Life cannot avoid mistakes, especially at your age when the future feels distant. Sometimes, impulsive thoughts and actions, as well as words, have caused disappointment to parents, teachers, and friends. But every fall is an opportunity to rise stronger, isn’t it?
The joyful and sorrowful memories will serve as your guide as you step into the future. The school, High School XX, has been a home for you, where you grew, shared, loved, and dreamed your student dreams. We hope that this school will always be a cherished place in your hearts, as it has been in ours, marking the foundation of your character and knowledge.
The National High School Graduation Exam awaits you, full of challenges and tests. But we believe in your abilities – with your intelligence, determination, skills, and the support of your family, teachers, and friends – you will succeed. The road ahead may have both smooth and rough paths. You must walk confidently on your own two feet, for only then will your steps be strong and the obstacles ahead become mere stepping stones.
Finally, we wish the 12th-grade students of High School XX health, calm, and confidence as you strive for the best results in your upcoming exams. We hope you will succeed in life and continue to make us proud. We will always follow your journey.
Goodbye, dear students.

5. End-of-School Year Speech by a High School Teacher - Speech No. 8
Honorable delegates,
Esteemed parents, respected teachers, and dear students,
Today, it is my great honor to speak on behalf of all the teachers at our school during the closing ceremony of the academic year 20XX-20YY at High School..... I would like to dedicate my speech entirely to our beloved students.
Dear students,
The sound of the opening bell for this school year still echoes in our ears, yet now the time for parting has arrived. When you first entered High School...., you were full of hesitation and unfamiliarity, your innocent, shy eyes shyly avoiding us and your peers. Now, the moment of farewell is almost here. A person's life is like a journey that may seem short or long, but it is certain that every journey has a starting point and an ending point. Your school years are one such journey. Three years may seem brief in the context of a lifetime, but it is enough time to form lasting bonds with teachers and friends. These years will leave behind countless memories, both joyful and sorrowful, and as you leave, each of you will carry with you the precious memories of your student life.
Dear students,
Thank you for these years spent together under the roof of High School...... Being with you, even the older teachers feel young again. Young because we catch your youthful spirit and innocence, young because we often remember our own student days, young because we must stay dynamic, update ourselves, and adapt to be able to engage with you. Your life has been a motivation for us to constantly improve and become role models for you. I fondly remember the time spent on extracurricular activities, the moments spent tending to the school garden with all of you. The joyful conversations and heartfelt discussions helped us understand each other more deeply, and this brought us closer. From this, the teacher-student and friendship bonds grew stronger. Yet, as you know, the moment has come when...
The schoolyard hums with the sound of cicadas
And the flamboyant trees are covered with blossoms
Spring passes, and summer arrives
Leaving behind teachers and friends, walking alone
Time moves swiftly, like a shuttle
It comes and goes, leaving a lingering sense of melancholy
Time continues to flow, and the whirlpool of life drags us further apart, pushing us into the busy world of responsibilities, where we often forget everything. But when we pause and reflect, we suddenly realize the profound feeling of nostalgia, as we hear echoes of poems, songs, and memories of parents, teachers, friends, and the beloved school...
In these three years at High School......, we, the teachers, are delighted and proud to have helped you gain valuable knowledge, equip you with effective study methods, and train you in important skills for success. We hope that in the future, you will choose a path that leads to a bright and meaningful life, a life that is full of purpose and contribution. Take the knowledge you’ve acquired and the memories you’ve cherished to build your strength and face the inevitable challenges of life with courage and determination, always standing firm before the storms of life.
Today, you have all grown and, depending on your circumstances, you may continue your studies or pursue another path that allows you to contribute effectively to your family and society.
We hope that you will return here whenever you can, to reminisce about the past and share the joys of life with us. Farewell, dear students. May you realize your ideals and fulfill your noble dreams. Wishing you good health, peace, and happiness in life.
We also wish the distinguished delegates, respected teachers, and parents good health. I sincerely thank you all for your attention.

6. End-of-School Year Speech by the Principal of a Preschool - Speech No. 1
Esteemed delegates, dear parents, respected teachers, and beloved students,
Today, under the roof of our school, we solemnly celebrate the closing ceremony of the academic year 20XX - 20YY. On behalf of the school administration, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude for the presence of all the parents, staff, and students of our school.
Dear students,
Throughout this past school year, our preschool, XX, has achieved many proud accomplishments compared to previous years. Our school has been honored with: 2 district-level exemplary students, 2 district-level outstanding teachers, 5 excellent class groups, and 29 students recognized for their health and good behavior at the district level, including one student who won first place in the district-level drawing competition.
In March and April, the school administration completed a quality assessment across all age groups. Overall, the children performed well, meeting or exceeding age expectations. However, some children, who joined the school later, were slightly behind in their development. During the academic year 20XX – 20YY, the school also organized many extracurricular activities for the children to experience, especially for the kindergarten class, with activities such as weekend gatherings, buffet lunches instead of regular meals, talent competitions, and more.
To achieve these results, the school administration would like to extend our sincere thanks to the parents for your continuous trust, support, and partnership throughout the year.
We also want to express our gratitude to the dedicated teachers who love their profession and cherish the children, helping to build a strong community and continuously improve the quality of education and care.
We wish all the parents good health and happiness. We hope that the school staff will continue to steer the XX ship towards further glory. May the children have a lively and fruitful summer full of joy.

7. End-of-School Year Speech by the Principal of a Preschool - Speech No. 2
Esteemed delegates, respected teachers, and beloved students,
Today, in the joyful and exciting atmosphere of the end-of-year ceremony, I am deeply honored to represent the preschool teaching staff of XX to share my thoughts and emotions during this 20XX - 20YY academic year closing event. First and foremost, I would like to extend my warmest greetings to all delegates, teachers, and students present.
Esteemed guests, respected teachers, and dear students,
It feels like only yesterday that we heard the school bell ring, signaling the start of the academic year, and now, we are already celebrating the successful conclusion of the 20XX school year. With the guidance of the school administration and the support of various departments, the teaching team and I have been able to fulfill our teaching duties and achieve remarkable results. On behalf of the school administration, I would like to express my gratitude for the support and guidance from the leadership that enabled us to accomplish our tasks successfully throughout the year.
Dear delegates, teachers, and beloved students,
The sound of the cicadas marks the arrival of summer, and with it, a much-needed break for the children. For our 3- and 4-year-old students, this is a time to rest and play after a year of learning, while also reviewing the knowledge they will need for the upcoming school year. We hope that next year, they will continue to grow, be diligent, and be even more well-behaved.
For our 5-year-old students, this summer marks their final break under the nurturing care of preschool. Not long ago, these little ones were shy and uncertain, but now, they are preparing to enter primary school. Although their time in preschool was brief, it is the earliest and most formative period of their education. This is when their characters were shaped, and they learned to love their country and help each other in learning.
Before concluding my speech, on behalf of the entire teaching staff, I would like to wish all delegates and distinguished guests good health and happiness. To the teachers, I wish you continued success and health. To the students, may you have a joyful and meaningful summer break.
Thank you very much.

First, I would like to extend my warmest greetings and wishes of good health to all the delegates, teachers, and students.
Esteemed delegates, dear teachers, and beloved students,
It seems like just yesterday when the school bell rang to mark the beginning of the academic year, and now, another year has passed with numerous achievements. Looking back over these 9 months, under the direction of the school administration and the support of local authorities and organizations, especially the cooperation of the parent-teacher association, the teaching team at XX school has successfully carried out its duties and achieved many significant results, as outlined in the Principal's Annual Report. On behalf of the teaching staff, I would like to express my sincere thanks for the close guidance of our leaders, who created favorable conditions for us to fulfill our responsibilities this year.
Dear delegates, dear teachers, dear students,
The cicadas’ call signals the arrival of summer, and with it, a bright and meaningful vacation awaits. For our students in grades 1, 2, 3, and 4, this summer provides a well-earned rest and play after a challenging academic year, and it is also a time for review and preparation for the upcoming school year. We hope that next year, you will strive to improve, take greater responsibility, and step up as the mature students that your senior peers have left behind.
As for our 5th-grade students, this marks the final summer you will spend under the warm roof of primary school. It may seem like five years went by too quickly, but it has been a significant period in your lives, the most memorable and impactful phase. Not long ago, you were shy and unsure, but now, you are ready to step into secondary school. The teachers who greeted you at the beginning of your journey now bid you farewell, knowing how much you’ve grown. It’s time to part ways with this beloved school, a place full of fond memories and caring teachers who have guided you toward knowledge. For us, teachers, saying goodbye to students is always an emotional experience, as we watch you move on to the next chapter of your lives.
At this moment, remember the kindness and dedication of your teachers who have nurtured you with love and responsibility. Cherish the beautiful memories with your friends and your school, and as you move forward, may you continue to achieve great success in the coming years. Dear students,
Whether near or far, you will always find a home here at this school, a place where your dreams took flight. The teachers here are like the boatmen who carry passengers across the river, always waiting for each journey to reach its destination. As you step into secondary school, remember that XX primary school was the foundation of your dreams and aspirations, and we will always be here, supporting you along your journey. The school gates, the trees, the classrooms—they are all imprinted with your memories.
In this farewell moment, I once again wish you all the best in your health and studies, striving to become well-rounded citizens, contributing positively to society. On behalf of the entire teaching staff, I would like to wish the delegates good health and happiness, the teachers and staff members continued success, and to the students, a joyful, enriching, and delightful summer.
Thank you very much!
