- 50g glutinous rice
- 50g regular rice
- 100g lotus seeds
- 100g salmon fillet
- 400ml water
Instructions:
- Step 1: Rinse the salmon with a dilute saltwater solution and drain. Then, steam the salmon until fully cooked, and mash it into a fine texture.
- Step 2: Rinse the rice and soak it in water for about 1 hour to soften the grains.

2. Pigeon Lotus Seed Porridge
Ingredients:
- 1/2 pigeon
- 100g fresh lotus seeds
- 50g glutinous rice
- 100g regular rice
- 20g peeled green beans
- 2 dried shiitake mushrooms
- Baby seasoning such as cooking oil, salt, etc.
Instructions:
- Step 1: Clean the glutinous rice, regular rice, green beans, lotus seeds (removing the bitter core), and soak them together for 1-2 hours to soften. Soak the dried shiitake mushrooms, wash them, and chop them finely.
- Step 2: Clean the pigeon with salt, separate the meat from the bones (you can chop the meat into small pieces).
- Step 3: Add the rice, green beans, lotus seeds, mushrooms, and pigeon bones into a pot with water. Bring to a boil, then lower the heat and simmer for about 1 hour until the porridge is soft and cooked.
- Step 4: While waiting for the porridge, stir-fry the pigeon meat lightly, stirring until the meat is just cooked.
- Step 5: Once the porridge is ready, add the cooked pigeon meat, stir well, and season to taste. Let it cook for another 5-7 minutes before turning off the heat.

3. Lotus Seed Porridge with Eel Meat

- 20g lotus seeds

- Preparation: Clean the beef and slice it thinly. Rinse the rice and drain it well.
- Add the beef to a pot with 400ml of water, season with salt, and boil until the meat becomes tender.
- In a separate pan, dry roast the lotus seeds until they become firm and slightly toasted.
- Add the rice to the pot of water and cook until the rice grains expand and soften.

5. Carrot, Egg Yolk, and Lotus Seed Porridge
Ingredients:
- 1 egg
- Half a carrot
- 30g dried lotus seeds
- 1 bowl of white porridge
- Seasoning for babies: cooking oil, seasoning powder, etc.
Instructions:
- Step 1: Remove the lotus seed cores and soak them for about 2 to 3 hours to soften them during steaming. Peel and wash the carrot, then cut it into small slices.
- Step 2: Steam the carrot and lotus seeds together. Once done, let them cool before blending them into a smooth paste using a blender or mash them with a spoon.
- Step 3: Crack the egg, separate the yolk, and whisk it well. Avoid giving the egg white to the baby as it may cause allergies.

- Step 1: Rinse the white rice and sticky rice, then soak them along with the green beans and lotus seeds (which should be cleaned) for 1-2 hours to soften. If using fresh lotus seeds, remove the core. If using dried lotus seeds, soak them overnight.
- Step 2: Wash the chicken, then boil or steam it. After it cools, shred the meat.
- Step 3: Place the rice, green beans, and lotus seeds in the pot with the water used for boiling the chicken, and cook. Start with high heat, and then reduce to a simmer for about 1 hour.

Ingredients:
- 200g lean pork
- 50g lotus seeds
- 50g white rice
- 50g sticky rice
- Rice seasoning
- Cooking oil
Instructions:
- Preparation: Clean the pork, cut into small pieces, and set aside. Remove the core from the lotus seeds, wash, and set aside.
- Mix the sticky rice and white rice, rinse thoroughly, and soak in water. Add a little oil and sauté the pork briefly.
- Boil the lotus seeds until soft.
- Add 400ml of water to the pot and bring to a boil. Then, add the sticky and white rice to cook until tender. Add the lotus seeds and pork, cook together until boiling again, and then turn off the heat.
- Season to taste, ensuring it's suitable for babies.


8. Shrimp and Lotus Seed Porridge with Pumpkin
Ingredients:
- 200g pumpkin
- 100g lotus seeds
- 100g fresh shrimp
- 50g sticky rice
- 50g white rice
- Coriander, cooking oil, and baby-friendly seasonings
Instructions:
- Preparation: Rinse the rice, soak in water for 1 hour to soften. Clean the lotus seeds and soak in water for 1 hour. Peel and dice the pumpkin. Peel and devein the shrimp, then wash them clean.
- Blend the shrimp with coriander and a little seasoning.
- Cook the rice, lotus seeds, and pumpkin into a soft porridge.
- Once the porridge is cooked, use a spoon to mash the lotus seeds and pumpkin in the pot.
- Heat a pan, add oil, and sauté the shrimp until fully cooked.
