1. Essay Describing the Blackboard No. 4
Along with the renovation of the classrooms, at the beginning of this school year, all the blackboards in our school's classrooms were replaced. These are anti-glare blackboards, high-quality products from the Central School Equipment Company.
The new blackboard still has the scent of wood. It is mounted on the wall above the classroom, covering almost the entire length of the wall. The blackboard is rectangular, meters long and 2 meters wide, made of industrial plywood. The frame around the blackboard is 4 cm wide, coated with glossy electrostatic paint in a dark green color, making it look like the blackboard is wrapped in plastic.
The surface of the board is not entirely wood; a layer of magnetic steel is applied over the plywood, painted dark green. This advanced product helps to reduce glare, allowing white chalk writing to stand out without reflecting light. From any position in the two rows of desks, we can clearly read everything written on the board. The right corner of the board features a frame for recording class details and the student count, written in white paint.
The new blackboard brightens the entire classroom. Every day, our teacher writes, explains, and hangs pictures on the board to teach us various subjects. After each lesson, the teacher uses a chalkboard eraser to wipe the board clean. Before each lesson, the duty team cleans the board and arranges the chalk neatly in a small box hanging in the lower right corner of the board.
We are very happy and satisfied with the new blackboard. It helps protect our eyes more than the old type. Quiet yet vast, like the broad surface of the blackboard, it carries an enormous amount of knowledge, day after day, guiding us on our learning journey. The soft, neat handwriting of the teacher on the board shapes our understanding of good writing and difficult math problems.
Together with the teacher, the blackboard helps us study well and grow. When the lesson ends, the blackboard rests in silence, waiting for the next class to begin, working in harmony with the teacher once again. Though not a living thing with a heartbeat, the blackboard is an essential part of the educational process, carrying the knowledge from one lesson to the next, just as our teachers carefully guide us along the path of life.
Over time, the classroom blackboard has become a familiar companion, as dear to us as a close friend. It has witnessed our successes and our mistakes. It shines with colorful drawings and chalk marks on special occasions. Oh, how we love the classroom blackboard.

2. Essay Describing the Blackboard No. 5
To me, the classroom feels like a second home. Besides friends and teachers, there are many objects in the classroom that I feel deeply connected to, but the one I cherish the most is the blackboard.
It is a chalkboard, a glare-resistant type. The board is rectangular and painted green. It looks large and wide, firmly mounted on the wall in the middle of the classroom so that whenever the teacher writes on it, all of us seated below can see it. The board has faint horizontal lines, spaced evenly like the grid in a notebook, visible only when you get closer. Thanks to this, when the teacher calls us to the board to solve problems, our writing is always neat and aligned.
The board's frame is made of rounded white aluminum, which not only adds beauty but also reinforces the board’s sturdiness. At the bottom left corner, there is a small shelf for the eraser and chalk, making it very convenient. Every day, we take turns cleaning the board and washing the eraser before the teacher enters the classroom, ensuring that the writing on the board is always clear.
The blackboard is the most frequently used object in our classroom. Thanks to it, we learn so many interesting things every day from our teachers. Everyone in the class is conscious of keeping the board clean and never writes or draws on it.
We always consider the board as a close friend. I will try my best to study well and remind my friends to take care of the board so that it remains a trusted companion in my learning journey.

The green blackboard on the podium is a close companion to both our teacher and students in class. It is the tool our teacher uses to teach us, closely connected to every white chalk mark made by both teacher and student. That's why we take great care to keep our green blackboard clean and beautiful.
Our class is arranged with three rows of desks, and the rectangular green blackboard is placed in the center of the wall, facing the middle desk row, close to the teacher's desk. We were given a new blackboard at the start of the year since the old one was damaged. The new blackboard is a deep green color and divided into equal small sections.
These small sections resemble the lines in our notebooks, making it easier for the teacher to write neatly and clearly. In the top-right corner of the board is a section to write the class attendance and the number of absentees. The blackboard is framed with silver-white metal edges to secure it to the wall. Beneath the board is a box for chalk and an eraser.
Whenever the teacher writes on the board, the white chalk marks are very clear. She writes with both thin and bold strokes, making it very easy to read. Since the blackboard is still new, everyone in class loves the chance to write on it. After each lesson, the students clean the board using a damp cloth that is wrung out.
The board is once again spotless and ready for writing. The teacher reminds us that the blackboard is very important to our class and asks us to take good care of it. Every day during cleaning duty, we make sure to clean it carefully. The blackboard is a dear companion, and it is indispensable in our classroom.

All lessons in our class are written on the green blackboard placed at the center of the podium. I always consider the blackboard as a close companion of mine.
The blackboard is rectangular, one and a half meters long and wide, with a deep green color. It is securely fastened to the wall. The board has evenly spaced white lines to help the teacher write with chalk. Every lesson is written on the board so we can easily follow along and copy the notes neatly in our notebooks.
The teacher arranges the desks so that the shorter students sit in front, ensuring everyone can clearly see the board. She also assigns the class monitors to oversee the cleaning duties. The assigned student will wipe the board before and after lessons to keep it spotless. The cleaning cloth is washed regularly, ensuring it’s always ready for use during different subjects.
The chalk used on the board comes in various colors, with white being the most used to make the writing clear and visible. I value the blackboard very much because without it, the teacher wouldn’t be able to explain lessons in a way we could follow. Every day, a corner of the board is used to record the class attendance so the monitor can easily check who is present or absent. Therefore, everyone in the class takes care of the board, making sure not to scratch or ruin it.
My classmates and I will continue to study hard so that we do not disappoint the teacher, who teaches us through this beloved blackboard. We will always keep the blackboard in good condition, ensuring it doesn’t get scratched or stained over time.

School is the second home for every student in Vietnam. All the memories of school, such as the blackboard, the stone benches, and the schoolyard, are etched in our minds. The blackboard in the classroom is the closest and most familiar thing to every generation of students.
The blackboard is where we gain new knowledge and insights every day. Its deep black color makes the white chalk stand out vividly. The teacher’s writing is clearly visible against the dark background. The board is rectangular, about two meters long and one and a half meters wide.
The blackboard is quite large. But with each passing lesson, it fills up with the teacher’s writing, drawings, and circles as they teach. The board is also divided into small squares, each measuring 10 cm by 10 cm. These squares help the teacher’s writing stay neat and aligned. Not only the teacher, but we as students also get the chance to use the board during our lessons.
The lessons we write, with our fresh chalk handwriting, make the class even more lively, contributing to the building of each lesson. The blackboard holds not only knowledge but also the creative world of mischievous students like us. During group activities or free time, the blackboard becomes a launching pad for my imagination and creativity.
Sometimes we even create games with the chalk and the board. The blackboard learns with us, plays with us, and becomes our close companion. The blackboard remains silently on the podium, offering its support for the noble cause of education.

7. Essay Describing the Blackboard No. 1
One of the most memorable things about my beloved school is the blackboard.
The blackboard is placed neatly and symmetrically on the teaching podium. Measuring about 2 meters in length and 1.5 meters in width, it always holds the knowledge that teachers wish to pass on to us. The dark surface of the board highlights the white chalk writing, making it clear and distinct.
The blackboard is an essential tool for teachers to convey lessons. Sometimes, it is also used to test our understanding and ability to complete tasks. The board is designed with small squares that help keep the teacher’s writing neat, aligned, and in the correct size. When the teacher’s handwriting is clear and well-organized, it encourages us, the students, to take interest in the lesson.
Furthermore, when the writing is legible, students can take notes more effectively and accurately. Thanks to the blackboard, we can record everything the teacher teaches, providing us with a solid foundation to review and study later. Without taking notes, it would be difficult to retain the knowledge over time.
With the large amount of material we need to learn each day, it’s impossible to absorb everything unless we write down the key points. Studies have shown that students can only retain about 5% of what they hear in class; the rest is up to independent study.
So, without proper note-taking, success in self-study becomes almost impossible. The blackboard is truly important to both students and teachers. A classroom without a blackboard cannot be considered a real classroom. Teachers must continually innovate their teaching methods to ensure students can grasp the lessons effectively, and the blackboard is a vital tool in this process.
The blackboard is an indispensable part of every classroom. Even if the equipment is modest, a blackboard is a must for teaching. Its role in shaping education has always been crucial.

The classroom is my second home. Inside this space, many objects are dear to me and my classmates, but the one that has left the most lasting impression is the blackboard.
The blackboard is rectangular and painted black. It is quite large and wide, securely fastened to the wall in the center of the room so that when the teacher writes on it, all of us sitting below can clearly see. The board has evenly spaced lines, similar to the rows in my notebook. This helps us write neatly when called upon by the teacher to come up and solve problems.
Our class president assigns each group to take turns cleaning the board and washing the cloth every day before the teacher arrives. This ensures that the writing on the board is always clear and legible. Every teacher who teaches us uses the blackboard and white chalk, which makes me appreciate the board even more. Without it, we wouldn't be able to understand what the teacher is teaching us.
Each one of us in class is mindful of keeping the board clean. We make sure to wipe it down daily and never draw on it. We always treat the blackboard as a close friend. I always strive to study well and remind my classmates to take care of the board so that it remains our reliable companion.

9. Essay Describing the Blackboard No. 3
Anyone who enters our classroom will immediately notice a large blackboard mounted in the center of the wall, next to the teacher's desk.
The blackboard is rectangular in shape. Its length exceeds two meters, about one and a half times the width. It is painted black and framed with metal borders, both for aesthetics and to secure the board. The surface of the board is rough, which makes it easy for chalk to stick, and the writing is clearly visible. The evenly spaced lines on the board resemble the rows in my notebook, helping us write neatly when we are called up to the board by the teacher.
When we first started school, the board was brand new. The fresh, dark green paint had a strong smell. Now, after months of use, the board has accumulated a thin layer of chalk dust. Occasionally, we wet a cloth to wipe it, but the board remains mostly dark, with only slight improvement.
Our blackboard works diligently. There is not a single lesson where our teacher doesn’t use it. From writing the date at the top to lessons in reading, literature, and math, everything is recorded on the board. Thanks to it, we easily understand the lessons and copy them down without mistakes.
No one needs to remind us—our entire class is careful to keep the board clean. We never draw, mark, or damage it. Every day, the cleaning crew makes sure to wipe it thoroughly. We consider that blackboard a close friend, one that we cherish and take care of.
