Phu Son Primary School was founded in 1922 on land in Đông village, Phu Huu commune, now part of Phu Son commune in Ba Vi district, Hanoi. Originally called Phu Son Primary School, it was established by Mr. Chu Quang Quan (also known as Mr. Han Quan) of Đông village. At the beginning, the school had 3 classrooms and 3 teachers, with grades 1 to 3 under the leadership of Principal Thiết. In 1949, during the French occupation, the school was seized and used as a military outpost, forcing the students and teachers to conduct classes at temples and local community halls. By 1951, with an increase in student numbers, the school expanded to 7 teachers and 4 classrooms. After the restoration of peace in 1954, both teachers and students returned to the school to resume rebuilding and teaching. In 1979, as part of the national education reform program, Phu Son Primary School merged with Phu Son Secondary School to become Phu Son Primary and Secondary School. At that time, the school had over 60 staff members and nearly 1,000 students.

In 1989, Phu Son Primary and Secondary School split into two separate institutions: Phu Son Primary School and Phu Son Secondary School. The primary school continued with grades 1 to 5, over 30 teachers, and nearly 600 students across 14 classrooms at the current Phu Son Primary School location.

Tay Dang B Primary School was established in August 2011 as a result of a split from Tay Dang Primary School. Located in Dai Hoa Village, Tay Dang Town, Ba Vi District, Hanoi, the school has made continuous progress over the past 10 years. Sixty-four years ago, in 1957, Tan Lap Primary School was established in Tan Lap commune, Quang Oai district. In 1967, to align with administrative boundaries and the formation of Ba Vi district, the school was renamed to Co Do Primary School. In 1976, following the Ministry of Education and Training’s directive, the school merged with Co Do Secondary School to become Co Do Combined School. In 1992, Co Do Combined School was split into two separate institutions: Co Do Primary School and Co Do Secondary School, as it remains today.

In the early days of its establishment, Co Do Primary School had no dedicated facilities and classes were held in local temples, pagodas, and residents' homes due to the war. In 1966, the school officially acquired its own premises with thatched classrooms. Over time, with the support of the Party, the government, Ba Vi District People's Committee, and the local community, the school’s facilities gradually improved, including two 4-room classrooms catering to both primary and secondary education. Despite these challenges, the school's teachers have continually strived to improve teaching methods, participate in various emulation movements, and overcome obstacles to contribute to the country by educating generations of successful students.

After the split, from 1992 to 1999, due to a lack of adequate facilities, the two schools continued to share the secondary school premises, with the primary school using it in the afternoon. In 1999, with the help of the Ba Vi District People’s Committee, the school was provided with its own campus covering 2,960 m2, consisting of 8 classrooms and an administrative block. Another branch in Vien Chau had 2 rooms, and lessons were also held in Co Do’s ancient temple. Despite starting with modest facilities, with the support of all levels of government, teachers, parents, and the local community, the school gradually stabilized its infrastructure. Minh Quang B Primary School is located in Minh Quang commune, a mountainous area in Ba Vi District, Hanoi. The school was officially established in August 1992, after splitting from Minh Quang B general school. It has two campus locations. Initially, the main campus was situated in Sổ village, Minh Quang commune, covering an area of 3989 m2, with eight dilapidated single-story classrooms built in 1977. The secondary campus covered 6182 m2, with four classrooms built in 1975, originally used as offices for the former Ba Vi Forest Management Station's health clinic (now part of Đá Chông village, Minh Quang commune). Each year, the school had to temporarily use a warehouse in Dy village to hold one or two classes. By 2012, following a final survey on school planning, the local authorities decided to designate the Đá Chông campus as the main site.
