2. Food Presentation for International Women's Day (Entry 5)
The art of home cooking is a brilliant tradition deeply embedded in the culture of Vietnamese women. Embracing this legacy, our team presents the following dishes for today's culinary competition:
First dish: Meatballs with pickled vegetables (Appetizer)
Second dish: Roasted Chicken
Third dish: Deep-fried Fish
Fourth dish: Curry with bread (Main course)
Final dish: Sushi Rice
In looking at these five dishes, we’ve drawn inspiration from Vietnam’s rich agricultural bounty—its beloved chickens, pigs, and fresh vegetables—combined with the delicate sweetness of fish. These dishes encapsulate the essence of nature’s bounty, from the earth and the water.
From a nutritional perspective, these five dishes provide an abundance of health benefits. The meatballs with pickled vegetables offer an impressive mix of nutrients, and the tartness of the pickled vegetables aids digestion, making the meal even more enjoyable.
The roasted chicken is packed with protein, highly recommended for recovery and boosting immunity. The deep-fried fish is crisp and golden, with a delicate sweetness that recalls the pristine waters of Vietnam, bringing a sense of serenity to those who indulge.
Our curry with bread is a hearty dish, rich in protein, fiber, and carbohydrates—much like a traditional European dish. It's nourishing, and perfect for providing energy. Finally, we end the meal with sushi rice, symbolizing the saying, 'Eat rice, finish your work.'
We’ve creatively named our dishes as follows:
First, the appetizer: Meatballs with pickled vegetables, where the tender meatballs blend perfectly with the vibrant sour-sweet flavors of the pickles—an appetizer that invites you to engage with the meal. We call this dish 'Spring Blossoms.'
Next, the deep-fried fish, golden and lively, like a display of triumph, offering a challenge to those ready to dive into the next stage of the meal. This dish is named 'Sweet Challenge.'
Then, the roasted chicken, which brings vitality, clarity, and warmth to the table, symbolizing 'Heavenly Comfort.' The curry with bread, essential in Western diets, strengthens the body and energizes. It’s a dish that fuels the soul and the body—'Soldier's Warmth.'
Finally, sushi rice completes the meal with a joyful spirit, symbolizing happiness, unity, and a shared moment of cheer.
We wish you a pleasant meal and great success in this culinary competition!

3. Food Presentation for International Women's Day (Entry 6)

Almond-crusted shrimp, colorful mixed salad, crab spring rolls, stuffed chicken, caramelized fish, crab soup, steamed vegetables, rice, and a delightful fruit dessert. Now, we invite the judges, guests, and everyone here to experience each of our creations.
First, we have the almond-crusted shrimp. Upon tasting this dish, you’ll experience the sweet, savory flavor of the shrimp, paired with the rich, nutty texture of almonds. Just imagining it makes your taste buds tingle, doesn’t it?
Next, we offer a colorful mixed salad, designed to surprise your palate with a harmonious blend of sour and sweet flavors from various vegetables and fruits, which add a refreshing touch to any meal.

Enjoying these spring rolls, especially for kids, is an exciting experience as they get to pull the rolls and dip them in the prepared sauce—what could be more enjoyable?
Moving on to the steamed vegetables, this dish is packed with vitamins and minerals, providing essential nutrients that contribute to a healthy, glowing complexion and a fit body.
After indulging in these delightful appetizers, we might crave a more substantial dish. For that, we have our stuffed chicken, a beautifully savory creation that is both delicious and unique—perhaps the highlight of this special March 8th family meal.
We invite you to try it for yourself. Finally, for a satisfying conclusion, each family member can enjoy a small bowl of rice paired with our caramelized fish, crab soup, and fresh veggies—ensuring a perfectly balanced meal.

4. Food Presentation for International Women's Day (Entry 7)
Honored delegates and esteemed judges!
In celebration of International Women's Day and in support of the domestic skills competition, our team proudly presents a family meal titled 'Togetherness.'
With the budget allotted and after thoughtful discussions, especially with the careful preparation by four dedicated members, today, Đức and Thủy will represent the team in presenting this meal.
Dear judges, after 30 minutes of preparation, we have completed a meal consisting of: sushi rolls, crocodile split fish soup, Rô Phi fish in a net, Swan Garden Stroll, a seasonal vegetable medley, and Sari-style guava. This meal ensures both quality and quantity for a family of four.
Allow us to introduce each dish in detail:
The sushi rolls feature rice wrapped in seaweed, with a filling of fish cakes, sausage, carrots, and cilantro. This dish offers a combination of carbohydrates, protein, and essential vitamins, including Vitamin B1. Although it's just rice, the skillful preparation turns it into an attractive and delightful dish.
The Rô Phi fish in a net provides a rich source of protein, complemented by fresh lettuce and tomato sauce, which also adds a healthy dose of vitamins. On chilly fall or winter nights, this dish can truly warm the heart and soul.
The Swan Garden Stroll combines boiled eggs, pork, and sweet shrimp. This dish offers protein from the meats and eggs, along with a generous amount of calcium from the shrimp and eggs themselves.
Soup is a key component of any family meal, and to enhance skin health, we've prepared a soup made from stuffed bitter melon, a renowned beauty food.
Alongside the bitter melon, the seasonal vegetable medley is made from broccoli and carrots, adding color and nutrients to the meal. The floral garnishing and decorative touches make this dish both healthy and visually appealing.
The dipping sauce, placed at the center of the table, symbolizes the simplicity and elegance of Vietnamese cuisine. Everyone shares this sauce, representing the unity and togetherness of the family.
For dessert, we present 'Sari-style guava.' Guava is a humble fruit, affordable and yet packed with the highest levels of vitamin C and A. We’ve added small, charming Sari fruits to further boost the nutritional value of this refreshing treat.
Esteemed delegates and judges, today’s menu brings together various flavors—sweet, sour, salty, and bitter. Through careful and harmonious preparation, we’ve created a meal that is not only visually appealing but also nutritionally balanced, ensuring the well-being of each family member and bringing happiness to the household.
Through this presentation, we wish to convey a small message: Our lives are as diverse as this meal, filled with sweetness and joy, but also with bitterness and sour moments. We urge each of us, especially the women who build our homes, to embrace the harmony of life’s flavors, and allow our loved ones to savor the sweetness in the bitterness, and the warmth in the sourness.
That concludes our presentation. Thank you!

5. Presentation on the Dish for March 8th (Item 8)
Honorable judges,
To participate in the cooking competition organized by the Women's Union of the local community on March 8th, our school, the Secondary School of...., has chosen the theme: The Woman I Love. The dishes selected for this competition, in addition to their nutritional value, reflect the virtues and traditional moral qualities of Vietnamese women, which have been preserved and promoted over the years.
For the menu, we have selected three main dishes. Through their creative names and ingredients sourced from the Mekong Delta region, these dishes aim to tell the story of the strength and grace of Vietnamese women. Here are the details:
The first dish is called "TAM SẮC MỸ NHÂN" (Three-Colored Beauty): tofu stuffed with minced meat, fried and served with tomato sauce and fresh lettuce, paired with soy sauce for dipping. This dish is named for its three distinct colors, each symbolizing different aspects of a woman’s virtues:
The red (from the tomatoes) symbolizes deep, sincere affection, representing a woman's unwavering love for her family, her dedication to her husband and children, steadfast and unchanging through all circumstances.
The dark brown (from the fried tofu) represents diligence, patience, and the sacrifices women make, enduring hardships to provide for their family, facing both physical and emotional struggles with resilience.
The green (from the lettuce) represents enduring vitality, optimism, and a strong spirit, never giving up or surrendering to the challenges of life. These are the timeless qualities of Vietnamese women, passed down through generations.
The second dish is "NGƯ TẦM NGỌA THỦY" (Fish in Clear Water): a simple basa fish stew cooked with coconut water and paired with crushed green mango. This dish's name draws from the idea that the fish symbolizes a woman, and the clear water represents the environment or circumstances in which the woman lives. Throughout history, women have always needed a supportive environment to flourish and show their talents, integrity, and moral values. Today, our government continues to emphasize the importance of creating an equitable society, providing women with opportunities to demonstrate their potential.
The third dish is "NGỌC ẨN HUỲNH HOA" (Hidden Gem in the Blossom): a soup made with cabbage leaves wrapped around minced meat, stewed with radishes, carrots, and turnips. The minced meat wrapped in cabbage symbolizes a hidden gem, with the cabbage leaves representing the woman herself. The gem signifies the valuable moral qualities inherent in every woman. Whether seen in a mother, a wife, or a daughter, Vietnamese women have long exhibited admirable qualities, such as kindness, loyalty, self-sacrifice, patience, and compassion. Our responsibility is to support women in cultivating and expressing these virtues, contributing to a fairer and brighter society.
These three dishes are served with rice, accompanied by medicinal wine and a refreshing watermelon dessert. We hope that our guests will find the food satisfying and enjoyable. The nutritional value of these dishes, in line with the competition's guidelines, has been carefully considered to meet the required budget while ensuring a balanced intake of essential nutrients, including:
Protein: found in rice, pork, basa fish, tofu…
Fat: found in basa fish, cooking oil…
Vitamins: found in tomatoes, cabbage, carrots, lettuce, green mangoes…
Minerals: found in coconut water, spices…
Fiber: found in cabbage, turnips, carrots, green mangoes…
With a spirit of participation for learning and sharing, contributing to the lively and cheerful atmosphere of the March 8th celebration, we have made every effort to present the dishes as meticulously and sincerely as possible. However, due to our lack of professional culinary expertise, we humbly ask the judges for their understanding regarding any shortcomings.
We wish the cooking competition much success and a wonderful celebration of March 8th.

6. Presentation on the Dish for March 8th (Item 9)
Honorable delegates, esteemed guests!
Respected teachers!
My name is..., and I represent... Today, I would like to present to you, the esteemed judges, and our teachers a dish themed: "Family Reunions - Strengthening Love and Bonds".
Weekends provide a wonderful opportunity for family members to gather after a long, tiring workweek. Many dishes are prepared by mothers and sisters during this time, and chicken is often one of the key ingredients in these family meals. Chicken is a versatile ingredient used in many traditional family recipes, from boiled chicken to roasted chicken. Today, we are bringing you a new flavor of chicken with our special dish: Creamy Corn Chicken Soup and Salted Fried Chicken.
Both dishes feature chicken as the main ingredient, and for this presentation, we have selected young hens as the preferred meat. The ingredients also include cream corn, carrots, eggs, and a few selected spices. The preparation for these dishes is quite simple: the chicken is cut into bite-sized pieces and seasoned with various spices. After heating oil, we fry the chicken for 3-5 minutes until it is golden and fully cooked, then remove it and set it aside. Spices like ginger, lemongrass, lime leaves, and galangal are blended together for seasoning. The highlight of this dish is the special salted powder, which is carefully crafted using rice, salt, and traditional spices.
For the second dish, the Creamy Corn Chicken Soup, the key element is the broth, which is simmered for around two hours. During this process, we continuously remove any scum to ensure a clear, flavorful broth. Once the broth reaches the perfect clarity and sweetness, we add the cream corn powder, shredded chicken, and julienned carrots. This mixture is simmered for an additional 5-10 minutes. The thickening agent used for the soup is arrowroot powder, which is added gradually to ensure the soup attains the desired consistency. While other soups often use only egg whites, we use both the yolk and egg whites in this recipe for added richness.
Both dishes must meet several key requirements: the chicken must be cooked just right, tender on the inside and crispy on the outside, with a rich flavor from the spices like ginger, lemongrass, chili, and pepper. The soup must be smooth, flavorful, and rich in texture, with the distinct creaminess of the corn.
That concludes our presentation on the dishes. Thank you to the judges and to all of you for your attention!

7. Presentation on the Dish for March 8th (Item 1)
In celebration of International Women's Day on March 8th and in response to the 'Men in the Kitchen' cooking competition organized by... our school, we are proud to present our entry themed 'Sunday Family Meal.' Our team of five members has worked hard to prepare this meal for the competition.
The goal of our participation today is to promote interaction, learn from each other, and share the responsibilities with women in the family, especially when it comes to domestic tasks and ensuring proper nutrition for a healthy and happy home.
Dear judges, family meals are the cornerstone of family unity, fostering a sense of togetherness and happiness. We have brought a special meal for the 'Men in the Kitchen' competition, consisting of eight dishes that can serve six people, with a budget of approximately 500,000 VND. 2. Aromatic Pork Patties: This dish is made from a blend of ingredients such as pork, shiitake mushrooms, wood ear mushrooms, and fresh herbs, offering great taste and a nutritional boost that can satisfy various palates.

4. Steamed Broccoli and Radish (Spring Flowers): Vegetables are a necessary part of any meal, offering a rich source of vitamins and fiber for the body.
5. Stir-Fried Squid with Garlic and Celery (Sunshine for the Kids): Squid is a nutritious seafood that is easy to prepare and highly aromatic. When stir-fried with garlic and celery, it becomes even more irresistible, providing protein and other essential nutrients, making it especially appealing to children.
6. Enoki Mushroom Soup with Beef (Sweet Happiness): This clear, aromatic soup, made with beef, onions, and enoki mushrooms, is rich in flavor thanks to the beef broth. The enoki mushrooms and onions provide a nice crunch and fragrance, making it a dish that everyone in the family will enjoy.
7. Steamed White Rice (Endless Trust): A staple in every Vietnamese meal, white rice complements all the dishes perfectly.
8. Watermelon and Black Grapes (A Blossom of Congratulations): Fruit is always a refreshing and colorful addition to a meal. It provides essential nutrients like Vitamin C and contributes to overall health.
Dear judges,
We selected these dishes because they meet the following criteria: they are nutritionally balanced, suitable for all ages, easy to prepare with accessible ingredients, and reasonably priced. The dishes follow the principles of flavor balance and are based on the general eating habits of Vietnamese families.
Additionally, we bring a special ingredient to this competition—the love and affection from the men who are cooking for the women on this meaningful day. This love will enhance the flavors and make the dishes even more delightful and meaningful. By maintaining regular meals with fresh ingredients, skillful cooking, and proper seasoning, we can create dishes that are truly delicious, promote vitality and intelligence, prevent illness, improve skin health, and support overall physical development. This is the greatest happiness we can share.
That concludes our presentation. Thank you to the judges and everyone for your attention!

Honorable judges of the competition,
Esteemed guests, ladies, gentlemen, and friends,
It is our great honor to represent the 28 members of our Union in the ‘Women’s Domestic Skills’ competition, in celebration of International Women’s Day on March 8th.
With a deep sense of responsibility, we bring our best wishes, heartfelt gratitude to the organizing committee and judges, and all distinguished attendees. We hope that this event will provide encouragement and inspiration to all the participants and the local union.
We now invite the judges to witness the “family meal” we’ve prepared—a well-balanced, flavorful spread that captures the beauty of spring, its vibrant colors and delicious aromas. This meal promises to be a feast for the senses.
Even before tasting, the charm of the meal is evident, much like a flower arrangement crafted with care. The selection of colors and types of flowers, their meanings, and their arrangement reflect the creator’s thoughtfulness.
On this special day, March 8th, alongside the joy of our nation's progress, women in the 21st century nurture their “aspiration to rise,” integrating into the global development of humanity.
“Aspiration to Rise” is symbolized in a floral arrangement, with a delicate balance of purple orchids representing loyalty, red roses symbolizing passion, yellow carnations symbolizing youth, and small white blossoms reflecting purity. These flowers, set against the green of the countryside, evoke warmth, connection to one’s roots, and a sense of unity, all for the modest price of 50,000 VND, remaining on the dining table for seven days to spread warmth and beauty throughout the home.
Honorable judges, esteemed guests,
Maintaining a healthy lifestyle and a strong body is a universal goal. While many factors contribute to health, the nutritional value of our meals is paramount.
For a family of five, we offer a meal with five carefully selected dishes: crispy fried fish, stir-fried beef with celery, fried eggs with lean pork, braised pork belly with tofu, and a vegetable soup with crab. The cost of this meal is approximately 100,000 VND, followed by a refreshing dessert of fresh tangerines and green tea.
We selected these dishes based on their nutritional benefits. It’s essential to ensure each meal has the right balance of fiber, vegetables, fruits, and healthy fats, as you can see from our menu. The fresh ingredients and thoughtful preparation make this meal not only delicious but also nutritious.
By consistently consuming fresh, flavorful meals prepared with skill and the right spices, we can enjoy appetizing dishes that provide nourishment for the body and enhance our overall well-being.
This meal supplies essential vitamins A, B1, C, D, and E, which help prevent bone loss, aging, and boost physical strength, mental clarity, and overall vitality. It also improves vision, strengthens the immune system, and supports healthy skin and growth. This is the greatest joy and fulfillment we can experience.
Thank you to the judges and all distinguished guests for your attention.
