1. Talk Like a Friend
Friend groups often come together over shared interests – find the common ground with your target audience and connect with them.
If you're in the fashion business for students, dedicate a few posts to talk about “Descendants of the Sun”. If you sell weight loss products, don’t hesitate to share your diet plan or gym pictures. Your audience will 'remember your name' and naturally feel closer to you.
You can also share real or fictional stories, as long as they relate to your business! The most engaging are stories with an 'experience' focus – your mistakes and how you fixed them. If you have a unique writing style, use it to stand out.
If your audience interacts and shows curiosity about you, feel free to reveal a bit about yourself.

2. Frequently Ask Questions
Studies show that asking questions can double the number of clicks compared to regular posts and make readers feel more persuaded.
Questions make readers think, and as a result, they stay in their minds longer, instead of fading away like simple statements. If the reader shares the same opinion as the question being asked, then congratulations, your post will have fully convinced them! Here’s how I’d try this approach:
Traditional way: 'You should ask questions, it will increase engagement.'
Using a question: 'Want your post to get more engagement? Ask a question!'

3. Shorten Your Sentences
Long sentences can easily become tedious and strain the reader's eyes. So, aim to keep your sentences as short as possible. Additionally, shorter writing makes your post more concise and allows you to emphasize the main points. Focus on the key ideas so that your readers remember them and are left with a lasting impression.
People who are searching for information are the ones who will read your post. Appeal to their mindset by presenting the information clearly, concisely, and engagingly. Your post will provide value, helping them find what they need or remember what you've shared, leading to positive feedback. This sharing helps drive the growth of your website.

4. Put Yourself in the User’s Shoes and Touch Their Hearts
When you were in school, you often followed strict rules and acted according to specific standards. After 16 years of education, you faced countless writing assignments and essays. The knowledge you gained might have left you obsessed with scientific terms, technical jargon, and grammar rules, making you feel insecure without a sample essay beside you.
But in reality, forget everything you learned! Just keep the understanding and apply it accordingly... You’re not writing a novel, nor conducting scientific research. You’re simply having a conversation with your potential customers. You’re just sharing a thought or persuading someone, but don’t burden yourself with theoretical or scientific matters. Feel free to add casual words like “Hmm,” “Oh,” “Wow,” or follow trends like “Unbelievable!” or “Moms, did you know?”... Let the writing flow naturally with the emotions you're experiencing. Your readers will surely enjoy this special change. Everything will easily connect with the readers emotionally. Remember, don't be mechanical in your writing style, the key is to put yourself in the user's shoes and touch their hearts!!!
Trust me!!!

5. Research Information
Indeed, in order for your content to be engaging with sharp, well-thought-out information, you need to understand exactly what you're about to write. This will help you provide a detailed analysis, a logical structure, and use more accurate language.
Following that, an equally important step is competitor analysis. With a flood of content and numerous results showing nearly identical wording, it will be tough to stand out. The only way to make an impact is by being different. This is a challenging question, and how you distinguish yourself is entirely up to you.

6. Don’t Forget an Attractive Title
If it were a casual conversation, it would be very special if it had a theme or a name. Similarly, the title is one of the key factors in determining the success of a post.
The title of your article is the first thing users see before they click to view it. An attractive title combines two elements: curiosity and relevance to what the user needs. So, to make sure your readers engage, besides writing well, naturally, and having a clear structure, coming up with a concise, punchy title that encapsulates the article’s content is absolutely crucial.

7. Don’t Write for Everyone
Imagine a speaker addressing 10,000 strangers. As a reflex, he would start with, "Ladies and gentlemen!" – formal and distant.
This is also your natural instinct if you don’t know who you’re writing for, lack an understanding of your audience, and end up thinking: write for everyone to read.
Therefore, pick a target audience and delve into their psychology, personality, interests, and behaviors. Once you understand them, you’ll naturally craft a friendly and warm greeting.

8. Don’t Try to Impress with Overly Scholarly Words
It will only create a sense of grandiosity, but it’s empty and pretentious. Let’s compare these two paragraphs:
Paragraph 1: “Be a pioneer in using software developed by market-leading programmers. Schedule your posts for your social media pages using multitasking apps with positive reviews on various operating systems.”
Paragraph 2: “With time-saving apps, you can schedule your social media posts in no time.”
Which one would you prefer to read? Remember, the foundation of any conversation is understanding. So don’t try to impress by using terms that your readers won’t grasp.

9. Put Yourself Last
Don’t focus too much on your product or service, instead prioritize your audience and help them solve their problems first. Put yourself in the reader’s shoes, which one would you prefer?
“Follow us and we’ll send you weekly Marketing publications.”
“Looking for smarter marketing strategies? Follow us to receive weekly Marketing publications for the answers!”
Avoid overusing terms like “I” or “we,” instead focus on “you” and “your.”
