Review - Real experience Minh Duc Hotel - latest 6/2025

When I initially booked my stay, I was worried about the low price and feared that the quality of service would be lacking. However, upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised to find the room quite clean and attractive, especially considering the price point. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Additionally, the hotel’s proximity to the ferry terminal made it convenient for me to invite guests for outings. Overall, I felt very satisfied with my experience here and would happily recommend it to others.

During our recent family getaway to Tuan Chau, Ha Long, we had the pleasure of choosing Minh Duc Hotel, and it turned out to be the best choice for our stay. This hotel surpassed our expectations in every way, making it an ideal retreat for families. The staff welcomed us warmly and went out of their way to ensure our entire family was comfortable throughout our visit. The hotel owner and his wife were incredibly helpful, providing recommendations on dining, activities, and booking a cruise to explore Halong Bay. Their hospitality made us feel right at home, and we truly appreciate their genuine care. Thank you so much—we will definitely return next time.

Exceptional value for the price paid. The room was impeccably clean and pleasantly decorated. The shower was by far the best we experienced in Vietnam, offering strong water pressure and reliably hot water throughout our stay. The proprietor is incredibly kind and fair-minded. Initially suggested a 3% surcharge for card payments but ended up offering us an even lower rate than what was advertised on booking platforms. His honesty was refreshing. Despite limited English, he went out of his way to assist us, which we found truly remarkable. I would enthusiastically return here. Note that all windows are fitted with mosquito nets, though the area tends to have a high mosquito population.

In essence, it's a quaint hotel nestled in the expansive Paradise district. The view is stunning, and the neighborhood is equally charming. The vista overlooking Tuan Chau pier is incredibly picturesque and imbued with romance. We booked a room with 2 double beds for 4 people at 800k, enjoying a decent 10% discount. However, breakfast wasn't included; due to rain that day, we opted for instant noodles 😊

A budget-friendly hotel priced at 15€ per night, conveniently situated overlooking the Halong Bay pier. The spacious rooms lack a top sheet, though the hospitality is warmly commendable 👍🏻

The hotel is immaculate and visually appealing, with staff who are exceptionally warm and attentive. It's conveniently located for accessing the tourist port and exploring the Tuan Chau area.

Lovely accommodation option in Vietnam. The manager provided excellent hospitality. Highly recommended!

Wonderful and helpful team. Very clean and on the doorstep location to Hanlong bay. Very well priced. Close to theme park.
