The ending of Shuumatsu no Harem has left many viewers feeling relieved and joyful.
After seven years of continuous publication, the final chapter of the manga written by LINK and illustrated by Kotaro Shono - Shuumatsu no Harem (World's End Harem) - has been released on the Shonen Jump Plus service in Japan.
Some may wonder, 'Hasn't it ended months ago?' In reality, only the first part concluded, and now the entire commercial franchise truly concludes with the conclusion of the second part titled Shuumatsu no Harem: After World.
Shuumatsu no Harem was also adapted into an anime in 2022, but as of now, there have been no announcements regarding a sequel. However, with the original manga now concluded, the prospect of a second season seems increasingly distant, as the aim of producing the anime was to promote the original work.

As for us, LINK and Kotaro Shono began publishing the manga on Shueisha's Shonen Jump Plus website in May 2016. The duo then started serializing the sequel titled Shuumatsu no Harem: After World in May 2021, concluding in May 2023. The work was adapted into an anime by Studio Gokumi in collaboration with AXsiZ and aired in the winter of 2022 (January to March), consisting of 11 episodes.
World's End Harem portrays a world where all men have perished due to a specific virus. Fortunately, five men who were previously put into cryosleep are still alive. The protagonist, Reito, is one of them. Upon awakening, Reito is tasked with... establishing 'relationships' with as many people as possible to help humanity escape a bleak future!
With such a premise, World's End Harem has received numerous negative comments on review sites and anime/manga communities. Many viewers consider it to be a shallow work lacking appeal. Because of this, when World's End Harem concludes, many feel no sense of regret whatsoever.
