In general, there are nine stages in the process, commencing with the disposal and collection of waste plastic bottles and ending when the end products are made. The process is then repeated.
At the beginning of the recycling process, people get rid of used plastic bottles in rubbish bins. The bottles are then collected by trucks and brought to a recycling centre where they are sorted and unqualified bottles are removed. After that, the selected bottles are compressed into blocks before being crushed into pieces and washed in with water in the fifth stage.
The sixth stage of the recycling process involves transforming plastic pieces into pellets through a machine. These pellets are then heated so that raw materials can be formed. The materials are then stored and used for making several products, such as plastic containers, bags and clothes. The process is repeated when bottles are used and thrown away.
