Multi-Tasking Similar to iPad
iPadOS boasts numerous multitasking features that many users would love to see integrated into their foldable iPhones.
Currently, iPadOS shares some specific multitasking features with iOS, such as app switching and picture-in-picture. However, expectations are high for the iPhone Fold to utilize the Stage Manager feature like the iPad.
Furthermore, two other multitasking features from the iPad that Apple should integrate into its foldable iPhone are Split View and Slide Over. These will enable users to work with multiple open apps simultaneously.
Secondary Screen
Currently, all foldable smartphones on the market feature a secondary screen, making it a notable omission for the iPhone Fold not to have this feature.
With a secondary screen, users can quickly view notifications, answer phone calls, and access the camera. Apple might add an Always On display to this screen, promising to elevate the user experience.
Under-Display Face ID Sensor
An iPhone Fold would be convenient with Face ID sensors. However, a sensor under the display, hidden and out of clear view, will provide an even better experience for users.
Some experts in the tech industry believe that the iPhone 16 Pro models expected to be released in 2024 will feature Face ID under the display. Although Apple hasn't confirmed this information, it seems entirely plausible as it is not overly complex.
With two screens (one external and one larger internal screen), it would make much more sense for Apple to place the Face ID sensor under the foldable screen of the iPhone Fold.
Self-Healing Wrinkle-Resistant Display
Wrinkles are one of the drawbacks of foldable smartphones as they can affect the user's viewing experience.
However, when comparing the Galaxy Z Fold4 and Galaxy Z Fold3, you can notice that the fold lines on the Z Fold4 are less visible. If a phone from 2022 has addressed the wrinkle issue, we can expect Apple to make this problem non-existent on the iPhone Fold.
Moreover, thanks to a special polymer material used in these displays, we can anticipate an iPhone Fold with self-healing capabilities. This means minor cracks and scratches will self-repair, reducing the need for repairs and replacements.
Apple Pencil Support
If recent rumors are accurate, the unfolded iPhone Fold will have significantly larger dimensions than a standard . Therefore, it would be quite reasonable for Apple to introduce Apple Pencil support for this phone.

Hopefully, Apple will enhance this feature on its iPhone Fold to ensure users can use the device throughout a long day.
Price Under 2000 USD
The last aspect many are eagerly anticipating on Apple's foldable iPhone is a reasonable price. Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold4, released in 2022, comes with a price of 1,799 USD for the standard variant, which is much more reasonable compared to the first-generation Galaxy Z Fold. Based on this, we can expect Apple to set the price of the foldable iPhone below 2,000 USD unless there is significant inflation in the coming years.
