Apple: No Plans for 27-inch iMac with Silicon M-series Chip

Apple has ceased production of both the 27-inch iMac and iMac Pro with Intel chips for the past two years, and the company has yet to introduce a larger iMac with Apple silicon to replace them. Therefore, the 24-inch iMac currently stands as the only all-in-one PC from the 'Big Apple' that users can purchase at the moment.

For customers seeking a larger desktop computer, Apple advises considering a 27-inch display paired with either a MacBook Pro or Mac mini.

Apple PR representative Starlayne Meza has confirmed the company's plans with The Verge. The company encourages those hoping for a larger iMac to consider the Studio Display and Mac Studio or Mac mini.

Apple only excludes the new 27-inch iMac, so it's also possible we'll see a larger iMac in the future. Last month, Bloomberg's Mark Gurman reported that 'The Apple' is still developing an iMac Pro with a 32-inch display slated for release in late 2024 or 2025.
