In general, Cambridge 19 does not have many changes compared to the exam structure of previous Cambridge editions.
About the format, the IELTS test still maintains the same format for all 4 skills: Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing.
Introduction to Cam 19
According to upcoming information, Cam 19 launch will bring:
- 4 tests closely resembling the real exams in 2024-2025. These tests are highly difficult, with many academic vocabulary words like the previous 18 volumes.
- 4 comprehensive tests covering Listening, Reading, Speaking, Writing, filtering various question types and topics according to the latest trend in exam formats.
- Design includes both test questions and answers, with instructions for answering Speaking – Writing sections after the test.
The cover of Cambridge 19 this year will be red in color, different from the blue color of previous editions. Perhaps this is a new change for this series in the coming years. Additionally, the IELTS Cambridge 19 book will be launched early in July, so before that, you can review and practice with the test sets in Cam 1-18, especially focusing on the most recent sets 12-18 to better align with current exam trends.
