1. Bài mẫu chủ đề Quảng cáo - IELTS Speaking phần 2

Describe an advertisement you like.
You should mention:
- what type of advertisement it is
- what product or service it advertises
- where and when you first saw it
And explain why you appreciate it and believe this advertisement is effective.
I generally think advertisements are just a waste of time. But there was one time when I stumbled across an advertisement for a manufacturer of electric appliances that soon went viral and became a sensation in the Vietnamese market.
Starting in November 2016, the ad played on the brand’s Facebook page, YouTube channel, and television during prime time. It seemed a bit odd, to put it mildly. The one-minute commercial featured a group of people with yellow lips and blue body-tight outfits, dancing inside the TV, washing machine, and refrigerator frames while singing along the most catchy tunes.
The words were straightforward enough for listeners to recall after just one listen, and that was their strongest suit. Instead of emphasizing the quality of the things they sell, the purpose was to educate consumers about Dien May Xanh, an ideal place to purchase household electronics.
Young Internet users suddenly became interested in the campaign, and it was republished to Facebook community pages and started to gain more attraction among various age groups. The advertising went viral and became a sensation on the Internet and in real life because of the interest and hype from Netizens. It is easy to catch sight of elementary school students singing along to these catchy melodies while playing with their friends.

2. Sample topic Advertisement – IELTS Speaking part 3

2.1. Why do some individuals dislike advertisements?
From my perspective, there are two reasons why people harbor negative views towards advertisements. People simply find themselves inundated with advertisements nowadays, as they are ubiquitous. No matter how patient someone may be, they can only tolerate so many commercial interruptions during their favorite YouTube videos or television programs.
Others, however, despise the fact that commercials have always exaggerated the actual worth of the products they are selling, misleading consumers’ buying decisions.
- Exaggerate (v): phóng đại
2.2. Do people typically make purchases after watching advertisements?
I believe it depends on the demographic we are considering. Younger consumers, especially those around my age, tend to trust advertisements more. They are also quite eager to try new products, so there is a good chance they will purchase something advertised.
The situation is quite different with older adults. They usually stick to brands and products they are familiar with. Additionally, advertisements don't generally appeal to seniors, as they are less responsive to bright colors and sounds.
2.3. Is music effective in advertising?
Undoubtedly, I believe that the success of any advertisement is significantly influenced by the music used. Research shows that music helps us form new memories and recall old ones. This suggests that a commercial with catchy background music will be more likely to stick in consumers' minds when they are considering purchasing a product. Emotionally, music in ads shapes viewers’ perceptions, making them less skeptical of the brand.- Skeptical (adj): ngờ vực
