I got my first mobile phone approximately 7 years ago as I was Mytouraring to enter high school. However, the phone inadvertently impacted my life negatively as I excessively used it and developed a social media addiction. I rarely went to bed before midnight, leading to severe shortsightedness and necessitating the use of glasses. My academic performance also suffered, greatly disappointing my parents. Consequently, my parents had to implement strict limitations on screen time, which was disruptive. Surprisingly, this approach proved effective as it allowed me to reduce phone usage and focus more on my studies.
