I have itchy feet, so I always have a detailed plan for the next holiday trip in mind.
This time, I am going to wait for my children’s summer vacation so that I can take the whole family on a trip together. I am a family person and I love to travel with my loved ones. And, you know, summer won’t be complete without sun tan and beach snapshots. Therefore, my destination must be a seaside city and Vinh Hy bay is my ideal place. I have heard about this place a long time ago, a friend of mine highly recommended this place after her trip there. It is known for natural scenic beauty and delicious fresh seafood at an affordable price.
I was curious, but couldn’t find time to travel there due to my tight working schedule. But this summer we are going to make it. It’s only a 4-hour ride from our city to the bay, so I am going to go by bike, as if I were going backpacking. One reason luring us to this place is that it’s a pristine island, which means it won’t be crowded with tourists and the food here won’t be overpriced. Unlike other beaches which offer a variety of water sports like canoeing, scuba-diving, water-skiing and skydiving, there will not be many activities to do in Vinh Hy bay apart from sun-bathing and eating seafood. But this is going be a family time, and to me, spending time together is already enough.
In case my children get bored, so I am going to bring some family games like UNO and castle-building tools to enjoy time on the beach together. I am in dire need of this vacation as I want to escape from a stressful workload and pressure from city life for a while with my kids and my spouse. Also, I think it is a good idea to reward my children with a trip after studying hard throughout the school year

A few months ago, I went to the South of Vietnam for a vacation with my family. It’s was to the lovely coastal city of Nha Trang, which is also a very famous tourist destination. We decided to go there by plane since it is nearly 1200 kilometres from Hanoi, and would take a long time by car or train.I was so eager for the trip that I prepared everything such as my clothes, camera and other accessories a week in advance. It took about an hour to fly there, and luckily, the flight took off on time. The trip began with an incredible view from the airplane window and I can still remember being quite overwhelmed by the beauty of my city from above and the amazing sunset.
The time we spent in Nha Trang was a blast. We got to try out so many new things such as skydiving, surfing, and diving to see the coral reef. This place has one of the most beautiful beaches in Vietnam with deep blue water and pearly-white sand. Also, the food there was so unique and delicious. I think the most memorable moment of that trip though was definitely when we bought fresh ingredients from a local market and grilled them by the beach. Sitting there by the fire on a breezy night with the delicious smell freshly barbequed fish was an amazing experience.
The trip to Nha Trang really was the holiday of a lifetime. We had a lot of fun and got to see a lot of spectacular scenery. We definitely enjoyed it and we will definitely go there again if we have achance.

In Vietnam, many people believe that Tet is the most significant holiday. For me, it is the time for the family reunion and relaxing after a long year.
Every year, I come back home 2 days before New Year’s Eve. On the street, I can enjoy the bustling atmosphere. Every shop is filled with colourful lights and lanterns. Many people rush to supermarkets to buy groceries for Tet.
The thing that makes me most excited is making Banh Chung (square sticky rice cake) with my parents. This tradition has been passed from generation to generation in my family.
We spend one day cleaning the house and decorating it with peach branches and parallel sentences. On the first day of the Lunar New Year, I wear my favorite lucky colour clothes, such as red and yellow. I visited my relatives’ houses and wish them good health and great success.
I can feel my family become closer during the holiday. Therefore, every year, I always look forward to Tet holiday to let my hair down and spend time with my family.

After graduation, I travelled to Cat Ba island with my friends. It is one of my most treasured memory.
The island is located in Haiphong city, which is about 120 kilometres from Hanoi. It is well-known for its impressive natural beauty with tropical rainforests, towering cliffs and long coastlines. We hopped on a highway bus to go from Hanoi to Haiphong. It took us 3,5 hours to reach the destination.
We stayed in a beautiful hotel with a nice sea view. On the first day, we took a cruise to enjoy the beauty of lime mountains and crystal-clear waters. Monkey Island was our destination on the second day. There are many monkeys living there and they roam free.
Cannon Fort is another tourist hot spot. It is a fortification where tourists can watch the sunset. In the evening, we had dinner at a seafood restaurant right by the sea. We also took lots of photos and bought souvenirs for my family.
I felt very delighted after the trip and hope that I could visit Cat Ba one day again.

On the Independence holiday, I plan to go on a vacation to Da Lat for 3 days with my boyfriend. We like to book a homestay that had a balcony overlooking the city's square, a separate bathroom, a living area, and a kitchen. My friends said that they had a good time here. The weather was very nice with sunshine and a bit chilly once searching for famous destinations on the Internet, we plan to go to Lam Vien Square and Xuan Huong Lake to take a stroll and enjoy the scenery on the first day. We also list May Coffee as a must-go spot, which has one of Da Lat's nicest views.
On the second day, we will visit the Da Lat Flower Garden, which is known for its diversity of flowers, such as roses, orchids and tulips. On the last day, we will spend time enjoying the local food, such as dried fruits and Vietnamese pizza.
I think the trip to Dalat will help me escape the hustle and bustle of life. After that, I could gain more energy to restart my work.

It is widely renowned for its commercial and recreational hubs. There are several interesting locations, including the Raffles Museum, the Botanical Gardens, and the Tiger Balm Garden. There are other significant institutions of higher study, including the Nanyang University, the Polytechnic, the Science Centre, and the University of Singapore.
The extremely clean street made a deep impression on me. Singapore's public transportation system is incredibly reliable and efficient. Visitors don't have to wait about for buses or trains for hours. English is the most spoken language in the country so I could communicate well and make a lot of friends.
The trip gave me lots of experiences and unforgettable memory. I will try my best to have an opportunity to study abroad in Singapore.

We’re all excited when thinking about climbing Fanxipan mountain, which is the highest mountain in Vietnam. The trekking route is hot and dusty, but I think the scenery must be very impressive.
My family plan to stay in a hotel in Muong Hoa village. This village is almost untouched and is home to many Northern ethnic groups. We will head to Sapa town the next day to buy some souvenirs for our friends and enjoy local food.
I think the trip will help strengthen my family bonds and leave us happy memories.

Last year, I had 3 days off on the Independence holiday. My family decided to return to the countryside to visit my uncle.
This place is not very far from the centre of the city. It took about 1 hour to drive there. It was surrounded by a lot of greenery and was in a really picturesque and lovely valley. A little bit away from us, I could also see some healthy cows roaming and grazing on grass.
The weather was quite comfortable and pleasant, a bit chilly and windy. I felt very relaxed here and really enjoyed the atmosphere.
My uncle’s house resides in the foothill. After unpacking the luggage, we meandered along the route near the river for some miles. My brother and sister accompanied me on this stroll. At night, we had a barbecue with grilled beef and chicken in the yard.
I truly loved our trip because it allowed me to go away from the busy city life and be closer to the natural environment.

Let me see…quite a lot. I mean, there’re holidays almost every month, and sometimes these holidays are to celebrate the most ridiculous things. But I’m fine with that, you know, I have more days off from work!

I think most Vietnamese people want to stay at home to relax and recover from their busy schedules at work and school. I also notice that some families in the city often go on a picnic during these days.

Well, the most popular Festival in Vietnam is the Lunar New Year Festival. It’s the time for family reunions as people who work far away from home can get to spend some valuable time with their loved ones after a long year of being separated.
Are you fond of western festivals?
Frankly, I have limited knowledge about western festivals, but I suppose the one that intrigues me the most is Halloween. You see, it’s quite enjoyable to witness individuals adorned in various imaginative outfits. If given the opportunity, I would certainly like to partake in its festivities in other countries to experience it firsthand.
