It would definitely have to be my beloved pair of Levi’s denim jeans. I actually found this gem at a local thrift store, just a short walk from my home, when I received my first paycheck about two years ago. It was quite a steal, costing only 250K, while its original price was nearly two million.
These jeans are a deep, grainy indigo with classic 5-pocket styling. What distinguishes Levi’s jeans from others is the iconic Arcuate design, an arc shape on the back pockets.
I adore this piece of clothing, partly because of its non-stretch fabric, which ensures durability. After two years and numerous wears and washes, it still looks as good as new, with no holes or tears.
What I particularly love about them is their high-waisted silhouette. With my short legs and slightly larger thighs, this fit is flattering as the higher waist naturally lengthens my legs.
These Levi’s jeans are also my go-to for outfits. They complement everything. Whether I’m aiming for a formal look with a button-down shirt tucked in and a blazer, or a casual, retro style with any white tee, it’s a versatile ensemble for any occasion. Despite the current popularity of low-rise jeans and Y2k fashion trends, I believe these will never go out of style.
