Today, let me introduce you to my close friend, Nguyen, who is incredibly enthusiastic about assisting disadvantaged children. Firstly, Nguyen and I have been friends for ten years. He's not only my best buddy but also a source of inspiration for me.
In terms of his personality, three words that perfectly describe him are ambitious, intelligent, and hardworking. He continually makes his parents proud by earning numerous scholarships from our college and excelling in business overall.
However, the most remarkable aspect about him is that despite hailing from a modest background, he dedicates considerable time and resources to assisting economically disadvantaged children. Specifically, after school, he runs a free English class for orphaned or economically disadvantaged children in his neighborhood. Additionally, he serves as the president of DVC, our university’s volunteering club. Every six months, Nguyen and I, along with other club members, embark on extended trips to rural areas in Vietnam to provide indigenous children with essential items such as food, books, and stationery.
In summary, he is a real-life inspiration with many qualities that I aspire to emulate. The more time I spend with him, the more compassionate and caring I become. I hope he continues to stay resilient and committed to following his passion and aiding more children along the way.
