While there are many well-known authors worldwide, one writer who never fails to impress me with her works is JK Rowling. It's widely recognized that she is the mastermind behind the beloved children's series “Harry Potter.”
Apart from being a British novelist, Rowling is also a screenwriter and film producer. Although I'm not fully versed in her life story, one thing is clear - she started her journey as an unemployed mother struggling with financial burdens until her life took a positive turn with the success of Harry Potter. Rowling first conceived the idea of Harry Potter during a train delay from Manchester to London. The series garnered immense popularity, selling over 500 million copies.
What's remarkable about her is her resilience in getting her books published despite numerous rejections from publishers. If I remember correctly, her first draft of Harry Potter was rejected by 18 publishers. That's quite a number, highlighting her perseverance that we can all learn from, right?
If I ever had the chance to meet her, I'd love to delve into the inspiration behind her iconic novels. Her magical world and enchanting storytelling have captivated us all.
I've always been curious about the wellspring of her imagination that created such a vivid world cherished by many. It's truly magical.
In conclusion, I hold JK Rowling in high regard for her captivating writings that have left a lasting impact on many. Growing up, Harry Potter was a big part of my childhood thanks to her.

In my opinion, there is an observable trend towards self-help books in recent times. Increasingly, individuals are turning to self-help literature to manage their challenges and discover valuable insights on personal development. This shift can be attributed to the growing interest among readers in self-improvement and self-growth.
For example, whether you want to enhance your communication skills or develop new habits for increased productivity, books such as “How to Win Friends and Influence People” and “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People” are highly recommended as essential reads.

2. Are authors considered celebrities in your country?
I don’t believe so. In Vietnam, authors, especially those with bestselling books, are respected and warmly received by their audience. For instance, Nguyen Nhat Anh, a well-known author for both teenagers and adults, is eagerly anticipated whenever he releases new novels. However, authors do not garner as large a fanbase as other celebrities like singers and movie stars.
3. What, in your opinion, is the preferred reading material nowadays: newspapers, magazines, or books?
It varies based on individual interests and fields of study. From my viewpoint, books and novels may be the most popular form of reading among the three due to their wide-ranging appeal and diverse genres. Nevertheless, magazines and newspapers continue to have their place as they cater to readers with different preferences in reading material. Notably, more magazines are attracting younger readers due to their captivating visuals and engaging content.
On the other hand, although somewhat outdated, newspapers remain a primary source of news for older generations, keeping them informed about daily events.
