Marvel has officially announced the design of Black Widow's War Machine armor in the current Avengers comic series by Marvel. Owning a War Machine armor is also the reason why Natasha Romanoff decided to adopt the new alias... War Widow for this mission.
Recently, in the Avengers comic series, the Avengers are on a mission related to the Starbrand imprint, the source of Earth's power that helps protect the world from extraterrestrial enemies in the Marvel universe. However, the superhero team's space adventure seems to be not going very smoothly. The most serious issue is that their ship is leaking oxygen and running out of fuel, and on top of that, they cannot escape from the magnetic trap set by the alien criminals.
This forces Captain Marvel to leave the ship to find a new one, and for some reason, Ghost Rider Robbie Reyes' Hell Charger is carrying Black Widow of the Black Widow and the vampire hunter Blade being chased by Silver Surfer, the herald of Galactus the Planet Eater. It's unclear why the Avengers suddenly came under attack, and Ghost Rider decides to confront Silver Surfer to find out.
In the conversation with Ghost Rider, Silver Surfer expressed his desire to deal with Starbrand alone, but his interference with the Avengers angered Ghost Rider. Both engage in consecutive attacks; while Silver Surfer possesses the ability to penetrate and the Power Cosmic from Galactus, Ghost Rider also proves to be a formidable opponent. He quickly climbs onto Surfer's surfboard and pushes its owner out into space.

Ngoài ra, nó còn tạo ra một thanh kiếm năng lượng mà Natasha sử dụng trong cuộc đấu với Silver Surfer, với sự giúp đỡ của Blade, người có bộ giáp bảo vệ từ Boy-Thing, một phiên bản nhỏ của Man-Thing.
Cuộc chiến giữa Avengers và sứ giả của Galactus bị can thiệp bởi dấu ấn Starbrand mà Avengers điều tra. Vật chủ mới của quyền năng này là một phụ nữ Trái Đất đang mang thai, một phạm nhân của đế chế Shi’ar ngoài vũ trụ. Gladiator, hoàng đế Shi’ar, buộc phải đối mặt với Starbrand mới để bảo vệ thế giới khỏi sự hủy diệt.
