I. Regarding the postponement of IELTS exams at British Council (BC) & IDP
1. Announcement regarding the postponement of BC's IELTS exams
Starting from November 10, 2022, the British Council announces the postponement of all IELTS and Aptis exams in Vietnam until further notice. The resumption of exams depends on approval from the Ministry of Education and Training, and we are working closely with the Ministry to obtain the necessary approvals as soon as possible.
All affected candidates will have their exam dates rescheduled free of charge, and we will notify candidates directly via email as soon as exams are allowed to resume.
2. Announcement regarding the postponement of IDP's IELTS exams
On the afternoon of November 10, 2022, IDP also announced the postponement of the IELTS exams. The announcement stated, 'IDP regrets to inform that all IELTS exams will be postponed until further notice. This is a force majeure situation, and all language proficiency certificate-issuing organizations must comply. Exam scheduling will be subject to approval from the Ministry of Education and Training, and IDP IELTS is working closely to reschedule exams as soon as possible.

II. What should candidates do while exam providers announce the postponement of IELTS exams?
The announcement of BC and IDP postponing IELTS exams has left many IELTS candidates feeling extremely anxious, especially those born in 2005 who are Mytouraring for university admission using IELTS scores.
