1. Cấu trúc so sánh ngang bằng là gì?

Cấu trúc so sánh ngang bằng trong tiếng Anh là cấu trúc được sử dụng để đánh giá, so sánh một sự vật, sự việc có mức độ hoặc tính chất tương đương nhau, không có sự khác biệt hoặc chênh lệch nào giữa chúng.

Khi so sánh ngang bằng nhau, bạn có thể so sánh về tính năng, đặc điểm, vẻ bề ngoài hoặc tính chất của người, sự vật, sự việc đó. 

Ví dụ:

• Her cake  is as delicious as her sister’s one. ( Chiếc bánh của cô ấy ngon như chiếc bánh của chị cô ấy.) 
• She is as smart as her mother. ( Cô ấy thông minh như mẹ cô ấy.) 
• The noodles is as delicious as fish. ( Món bún ngon như món cá) 

2. Công thức so sánh bằng trong tiếng Anh

Công thức so sánh bằng được chia thành 3 dạng: cấu trúc với trạng từ/tính từ, cấu trúc với danh từ và cấu trúc với the same. Cùng Mytour khám phá chi tiết 3 dạng cấu trúc này nhé! 

2.1 Cấu trúc với trạng từ và tính từ

Khẳng định: S + V + as + adj/adv + as + N/Pronoun/Clause

Phủ định: S + V+ not as/so + adj/adv + as + N/pronoun

Ví dụ:

• She sings as beautifully as her older sister. (Cô ấy hát hay giống như chị của cô ấy.) 
• They made a coffee as good as I expected. (Họ đã làm một ly cà phê thơm ngon như tôi chờ đợi) 
• He behaves as politely as his father. ( Anh ấy cư xử lịch sự giống như ba của anh ấy.) 
• My phone is not as new as his phone. (Chiếc điện thoại của tôi không mới được như chiếc điện thoại của anh ấy.) 
• This cake is not as delicious as the one I ate yesterday. (Chiếc bánh này không ngon như là chiếc bánh tôi ăn hôm qua.)
• My bag is not as expensive as my mother's bag. (Chiếc túi của tôi không đắt tiền như chiếc túi của mẹ tôi.) 

2.2 Cấu trúc với danh từ 

Khẳng định: S + V + as + many/much/little/few + noun + as + noun/pronoun

Phủ định: …Not +  as/so + many/much/little/few + noun + as + …… not +  the same + (N) + as…

Thí dụ:

• She earns as much money as her husband. ( Cô ấy có nhiều tiền như chồng của cô ấy.) 
• No one sells as much coffee as Mira. ( Không ai bán được nhiều cà phê ngang bằng với Mira.) 
• David is not the same age as me. ( David không bằng tuổi với tôi.) 
• Jack doesn’t read as many books as his friends. ( Jack không đọc sách nhiều bằng bạn bè của anh ấy. 
• My hobbies are not the same as her. ( Những sở thích của tôi không giống với những sở thích của cô ấy.) 

2.3 Cấu trúc so sánh ngang bằng “the same”

Ngoài ra, ta còn sử dụng “the same” để so sánh ngang bằng trong tiếng Anh với cấu trúc:

S + V + the same + (N) + as + N(Pronouns)

Thí dụ:

• She is the same height as me. ( Cô ấy có cùng chiều cao với tôi.) 
• Albert  wears the same outfit as his girlfriend. ( Albert mang một bộ đồ giống như bộ đồ của bạn gái anh ấy.) 
• The store doesn’t send me the same gift as the one they send to other customers. ( Cửa hàng không gửi  tôi món quà giống như những món quà họ gửi khách hàng khác.)
