Dưới đây là các câu hỏi, ý tưởng và ví dụ câu trả lời cho chủ đề ĐỒ ĂN trong IELTS Speaking Part 1 mà bạn có thể tham khảo.
1. Ai thường làm đồ ăn trong gia đình bạn?
Well, there’s a common perception that women are primarily responsible for cooking, but in my household, that’s not how it works. Despite my mom being an excellent chef, she’s overwhelmed with her work most of the time, so my dad handles cooking duties for the family. Interestingly, he’s quite skilled in the kitchen and has developed several special dishes of his own. We often joke that if my parents hadn’t married, my dad could have been a famous chef by now.
2. Where do you usually eat?
Mostly at home. I can’t quite describe how well my father cooks, and sometimes, I think he uses his food to tempt us, which works remarkably well. Another reason I prefer dining with my family is that when we gather around the table, enjoying homemade food and sharing stories that amuse us, everything feels relaxed
3. When do you enjoy dining out?
Since I usually eat at home with my family during weekdays, I don’t mind occasionally going out with friends on weekends, especially colleagues or my boyfriend, to try out a new café in the neighborhood. Also, for special occasions like a cousin’s graduation or a relative’s birthday, our family dresses up and enjoys meals together at a nice restaurant of their choosing.
4. Is it significant to acquire cooking skills?
If it’s my parents who were asked this question, their answer would be absolutely yes, as they have been teaching their daughter, me, about what they refer to as ‘the art of cooking’ since I entered primary school. And yeah, I couldn’t agree more, for a, preparing food at home can reduce the risk of being affected by food-borne diseases, hence a better health, and b, having good cooking skills also means that I can form a healthy eating and cleaning habit.
